We had a blast. We were a bit worried that the insects might be a gimmick, but it was refreshing to see the chef thoughtfully incorporating them into the dishes.
Now to the food. There was not a single dish we had where there was something to complain about. Everything that came out was excellent. It was also nice to see the chef being bold enough to add more spice than you would typically expect from an upscale restaurant.
For me, the deer was probably the highlight—seeing game combined with South American flavors was a great touch.
The insect fritters were amazing as well. While dill isn’t my favorite herb, the aioli and chili sauce balanced it out beautifully. The fried herb itself was very well executed.
The mussels with the tiger milk were another standout, with a deep umami flavor that made the dish really memorable.
And the tostada was awesome. I was initially concerned that the corn flavor of the tostada might get overshadowed by all the spices, but it held up really well.
Honestly, I’m surprised this restaurant isn’t receiving more recognition. The food, flavors, and execution were on par with some of the best dining experiences I’ve had.
It was a wonderful and super fun experience, and it’s been a while since I left a restaurant feeling this satisfied with the food.
Well, there aren't many places for gluten free treats, but this cute little shop doesn't just offer that!
Tina's superfood Deli is lovingly furnished with only about 12 seats. A small cooking corner where the chef prepares treats based on recipes from his Dominican Republic. Home produced! Mainly with corn! Everything is freshly prepared, so it takes a moment!
The atmosphere is very homely. More bistro at the front with a view of the kitchen. In the back there is a living room like, among other things, with comfortable vintage armchairs.
Unfortunately, Tina and Omar are also fighting for survival. That's why everyone go! Gluten-free food tastes good. Even for those who don't have to! Much joy!
We came here because of the many positive reviews, but all in all it was not to our taste. Shawarma is more special than all the others, the taste stands out, but you have to like it, you can try it.
The chicken skewer Dürüm was unfortunately disappointing, it was nothing special, I had hoped for more.
Unfortunately they were still selling the Boy.kott drinks, which is a shame.
Plus point: the Dürüm wraps are freshly prepared in the oven.
Excellent food, great portions and a good price. Biggest portions and best taste of any Sudanese restaurant I’ve been to.
Ahmed, the owner is a legend. Always so happy to see him, would just come here to greet him.
The album is very good.. The garlic inside the sandwich is good
The sandwich is small.. The potatoes inside the sandwich, other than the potatoes, are made of pom poms.. and it is not good or even.. the price is a bit exaggerated.. God bless you, the restaurant is very nice and tidy..
The food was absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately, we were seated at the table next to the cash register like second-class guests. The waitress made us feel uncomfortable.
TLDR: absolute recommendation. 5/5.

Visiting Berlin for the first time with a vegan friend, and for lunch, I suggested this place. It is not near touristic attraction but going at this restaurant was really a good surprise. Service is nice and the food is excellent. The cafe sua da was made with Vietnamese coffee, the taste was as the one you can get in Vietnam.
The dishes are plentiful and very tasty, the environment is bright and the waiter is extremely qualified, kind and polite, the value for money is excellent.
