Okay, sudanesisches Essen ist gut. Aber das hier war wirklich unglaublich lecker. Serviert von einem so charismatischen und positiven Mann – ein tolles Erlebnis. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Während ich das hier schreibe, bekomme ich schon wieder Hunger und wünschte, ich wäre dort.

Was für eine wunderbare Entdeckung in Berlin! Schon bei unserer Ankunft im Omdur – Sudanese Streetfood Restaurant wurden wir außergewöhnlich herzlich empfangen. Ein aufrichtiger, warmherziger und aufmerksamer Empfang, der sofort den Unterschied ausmachte. Die Person, die uns begrüßte, vermutlich der Inhaber, trug maßgeblich zu diesem unvergesslichen Erlebnis bei. Das Essen war eine echte Überraschung. Ich entschied mich für ein Falafel-Halloumi-Sandwich mit der berühmten Erdnusssauce, einem Aushängeschild der sudanesischen Streetfood-Szene in Berlin. Ein wahrer Genuss! Die Aromen sind originell, vollmundig und perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Kombination aus knusprigem Halloumi, duftendem Falafel und cremiger Sauce ist einfach himmlisch. Berlin ist bekannt für seine sudanesischen Restaurants, insbesondere für ihre Sandwiches mit Falafel, Halloumi, gebratenem Gemüse und Erdnusssauce, und das Omdur wird diesem Ruf vollauf gerecht. Ein weiteres Highlight: die freundliche Atmosphäre des Restaurants. Anders als manche Berliner Lokale mitunter einen distanzierten Ruf haben, ist der Service hier bemerkenswert freundlich – ein Punkt, der von Besuchern immer wieder hervorgehoben wird. Ein authentischer, herzlicher und einladender Ort. Wer die Berliner Gastronomieszene jenseits von Döner und Currywurst kennenlernen möchte, sollte unbedingt hier vorbeischauen.

Selten so leckeres Essen gehabt! Super viele leckere Saucen und alles auf dem Teller war 10/10.

Die Betreiber sind supernett; wir sind nach einer durchzechten Nacht voller Vorfreude und in der Hoffnung auf einen Mitternachtssnack dorthin gegangen, und sie waren unglaublich nett und haben unsere Bestellung als letzte angenommen. Die Falafel waren extra lecker, die Erdnusssauce war perfekt und sie haben sie sowohl oben als auch unten drauf gegeben, sodass das Sandwich schön saftig blieb. SO GUT! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wunderbarer Service. Die Mitarbeiter sind immer super freundlich. Sie backen auch kleine, süße Blätterteiggebäcke und verteilen sie kostenlos. Angemessene Preise und tolle Atmosphäre!

Ich weiß gar nicht mehr, wie ich diesen Ort entdeckt habe, aber ich bin so froh darüber! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, und die Portionen waren riesig. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Saucen: Sowohl die Erdnusssauce als auch die scharfe Sauce waren unglaublich aromatisch und haben ein Gericht ergeben, das ich am liebsten jeden Tag essen würde. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Der Besitzer war super nett und freundlich und hat mir für die Heimfahrt noch einen kostenlosen sudanesischen Donut mitgegeben, der ebenfalls fantastisch war. Einfach köstlich!

Herzlich und zuvorkommend vom Gastgeber empfangen. Das vegetarische Falafel-Halloumi-Magali war erstklassig! Angenehme Musik im Hintergrund.

Hummus ist hier mehr als nur Essen – es ist ein Erlebnis. Die Mischung aus frischen Salaten und milden, würzigen Aromen ist ein wahrer Genuss. Derjenige, der ihn zubereitet, steckt viel Herzblut in jedes Gericht und schafft eine so herzliche Atmosphäre. Gehen Sie nicht einfach nur wegen des Döners vorbei, Sie verpassen etwas Fantastisches. Einfach wow!

Mega lecker und absolut sweeter Service

Mein erstes Essen in Berlin… und kaum zu übertreffen. Ich bin zufällig auf dieses kleine sudanesische Lokal gestoßen, als ich durch Kreuzberg schlenderte, und es war ein echter Glücksgriff. Der Besitzer selbst bediente mich und war vom ersten Moment an charmant – einer dieser Orte, an denen man sich wirklich willkommen fühlt. Ich bestellte ein Brötchen gefüllt mit Falafel, Köfte und Hähnchen, dazu eine fantastische Erdnuss-Gemüse-Sauce. Einfach unglaublich! Die Aromen waren perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt, alles hausgemacht und mit so viel Liebe zubereitet. Zusammen mit einem Club Mate war es die perfekte Kombination. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar, aber das Beste kam zum Schluss: Nachdem ich bezahlt hatte, schenkte mir der Besitzer freundlicherweise ein hausgemachtes Gebäck, einen kleinen, donutähnlichen Teigball – einfach köstlich. Eine Geste, die Bände über dieses Lokal spricht. Einer dieser authentischen Orte, die man unerwartet entdeckt und die einem den Tag versüßen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Fantastische Falafel und Halloumi, großartige Erdnussbuttersoße, wir kommen wieder.

Ich hatte einen sehr leckeren Chicken-Falafel-Teller für 12 EUR. Die Falafel sind wirklich eine Empfehlung wert. Erdnusssoße reichlich, aber angenehm dezent von Geschmack her. Kartenzahlung ist möglich.

Echt gut: die Falafel waren zwar leider etwas trocken, aber insbesondere hallumi und die Köfte haben mir sehr gemundet. Die Erdnuss Humussauce sowie die anderen waren auch lecker. Zusammen mit dem Gemüse war’ es wirklich eine leckere Kombi. Außerdem war das Personal sehr freundlich und die Preise sind ziemlich günstig. Ich komme aus einer deutlich kleineren Stadt und sogar dort ist vergleichbares ziemlich teuer.

Das Essen finde ich wirklich gut und sehr sehr lecker! Es ist ein Imbiss, also keine gehobene Restaurantathmosphäre erwarten. Super freundliches Team!

Das beste Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Sogar das beste Erlebnis meines Lebens. Ich bin vor Kurzem Vater geworden, und das war noch intensiver.

Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft und der Service wirklich überfreundlich. Nach dem Bezahlen gab es sogar noch einen Gratis-Nachtisch, was ich als sehr herzliche Geste empfunden habe. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Daher vergebe ich für dieses Streetfood gerne fünf von fünf Punkten.

Es war seltsam. Das Essen war gar nicht schlecht, aber ich bin es nicht gewohnt, Erdnusscreme darauf zu essen. Das ganze Fleisch lag unter dem Brot. Es war, als ob wir etwas kreieren mussten, und dann kam das dabei heraus. Es wirkte irgendwie typisch amerikanisch.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant zum ersten Mal besucht um die Qualität zu testen. Ich bekam zwei Sorten Pizza. Nicht die beste Pizza meines Lebens, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war gut.

Das Essen war lecker – sehr schmackhaft, nur das Hähnchen mit Brot war etwas zu weich. Das Falafel-Hähnchen war dagegen wirklich sehr gut. Der Service war auch sehr freundlich, ich würde definitiv wieder hier essen ☺️👍🏽

Ich war zuvor kein Fan von Falafel und leider hatter er sehr spät um Mitternacht kein Fleisch mehr und ich bin eigentlich kein großer Vegetarier ABER was der Herr in der Küche zaubert ist unglaublich! Ich habe noch nie so gute Falafel gegessen welche dann auch noch Vegetarisch waren! Ich kann als Soße unbedingt Erdnuss Soße empfehlen. Die ist sowas von gut! Dazu auch gute Musik und angenehmes Ambiente. 10/10🥰

While the neighboring "Köfterei," which is busier, offers its remaining tables to the neighboring establishment, this one turns people away who desperately need them, even though all the tables are free. - very selfish, don't support the place if you can.

Everything was great, the person who helped us was very friendly. That day they were only accepting cash, so we were lucky there was an ATM right next door.

The food was tasty, although the falafel was perhaps a little dry. The peanut sauce was great, and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, despite the stickers on the door indicating it was accepted, card payments weren't possible.

Im sure most of you dont even know where Sudan is. Dont worry, you dont have to know it to understand that Omdur is one of the best and realest streetfood resturant in Berlin. I followed the recommendations of the owner and it was amazing, believe me, amazing! Come in and study a little geography until your food is ready.

The atmosphere is great. You feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. Almost everything is vegetarian. Vegetarians will find plenty to choose from, as will those who prefer something with meat. Best place in Berlin, food is always great and cheap. I come by usually for my lunch break and the simpathy and kindness of the owner really improves my mood even on the worst days. Couldn't recommend it more!

Food looks a lot better than it tastes. The chicken was dangerously close to being undercooked, it was a little chewy. Portion sizes are OK (mind you I paid €20+ for the dish shown in picture Employees speak very very poor English, took me 5 minutes to explain I wanted some salt

A complete disaster... I have no idea if it would have tasted good, everything just tasted like peanut sauce because they thought they could just slather it all over the plate – a mixed plate, mind you, with at least eight different flavor profiles, at least in theory... Maybe they should just wrap the sauces separately and put them on the side, how about that? We couldn't find the hummus; no idea if it got mixed up in the peanut sauce.

I know the owner from his time at Marafina – he was a real character back then. Then he opened his own place, and I've been a loyal customer ever since :) He brings not only recipes, but also passion, tradition, and that "just like Mom used to make, but without the arguments at the table" feeling. The food has soul and flavor. I love coming here... for the food, of course... but also because the person behind the counter is just as warm and welcoming as the dishes they serve. In short: It's just perfect here 😊

A small restaurant with a few wooden tables and a smiling owner and his wife behind the counter. The dishes are generous and delicious. We were offered tea and donuts :) A place that really deserves to be known!

The falafel were as hard as golf balls. When asked, they said, "That's how it is with Sudanese food." The portions were very small and not commensurate with the price. Poor value for money and service. Once, never again.

Unique and very tasty Sudanese food (my first time having it)! The owner is so so friendly and you can tell he really prides himself with the food he prepares for you. Even before ordering, he checked with me about my allergies and spice tolerance, before letting me try his homemade sauces and dips (his mango vegetable sauce was AMAZING - so fresh and it complemented the flavours of the salad well)! Very generous portions of meat and falafel, which were cooked fresh and really tasty too (though the peanut sauce was very rich, and I couldn’t finish it). Ambiance was wonderful, with 80s-90s music playing (which is very much up my alley). It took me a while to find the store at first, as it doesn’t have a huge name sign, but it’s definitely worth the time to come here. On a separate note, the restaurant does accept credit card payment, and the restrooms were very well maintained (little bit of a squeeze to get there). Overall, highly recommend this place - for the great food, and extremely friendly owner! I will be back when I’m back in Berlin!

Some of the best fast food I've eaten. Each ingredient is top notch and together they're out of this world. It gets the best bits of middle eastern food and adds a special touch. Also the gentleman at the counter is super nice and always smiling 😃

10/5 Fantastic food, cordial staff and they play good music. I had the vegetarian special plate, they made it extra spicy for me. All the ingredients and sauces a great. Left the restaurant with a smile.
