Bodhicitta Vegan Bowl in Berlin

Lovely little place, relaxed atmosphere, good service and really delicious vegan food.

We shared a couple of small dishes (listed on the menu as "tapas") and loved them! Our favorite were their Cha Vien, which we ordered twice in a row. Food and drinks were colorful, fresh and different from typical vegan restaurants with Vietnamese cuisine. This restaurant appears small on the outside, but it has several more tables inside. Staff was friendly, and service was relatively quick.

Really, really good Vietnamese food. Great spiciness, delicious flavors, and very friendly service! We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately no longer up to date: only cash payment possible - no card payment or contactless option. Absolutely impractical these days. We left straight away. Very disappointing.

Very tasty vegan Vietnamese-Asian fusion cuisine. There are also creations with kimchi or falafel, for example. The drinks are average to tasty.

We were there for the second time today and were very satisfied both times. The food and drinks are really tasty and you can find something in both that you can't find anywhere else. Or we haven't seen it like that before. The clove hibiscus iced tea really tastes very special and refreshing thanks to the clove note. Xa Xiu is vegan "grilled pork" and I ate it on both visits. It's so delicious and unique. I think it tastes a bit like star anise. You should definitely try it. The starters are also inventive and delicious. We can only recommend it and will definitely come back when we are in the area again. Oh, and it's also very inexpensive for the corner. A big plus point

The food was super delicious. The coolest thing is simply that you don't have to worry about meat because all dishes are vegetarian. Although I don't like very spicy food, the spiciness was good and didn't overpower the flavor of the food. Very recommendable and also very reasonable in terms of price.

Simply perfect! If necessary, desserts would be nice, but that's complaining at a high level. We had a shake for dessert. That was great too!

Super nice service and the food is really incredibly good. The curry is great, as is the talarin sauce, everything is seasoned to perfection, sauced to perfection and super tasty. I thought the soy steak was particularly good, but the seitan was also great. The kimchi sauce with the crispy mushrooms was also really great. The papaya salad was tasty, but not super authentically Thai. Still very tasty. Smoothies are also very good!! I will definitely come back. New favorite spot in the area. (:

Visiting Berlin for the first time with a vegan friend, and for lunch, I suggested this place. It is not near touristic attraction but going at this restaurant was really a good surprise. Service is nice and the food is excellent. The cafe sua da was made with Vietnamese coffee, the taste was as the one you can get in Vietnam.

The crispy soy Schnitzel was delicious. I was so sad when I’d eaten it all. The glass noodles in my bowl were the perfect level of spicy. I wish I had the clove (?) salt on the edamame at home.

Small and absolutely FINE. Highly recommended. A different kind of Vietnamese. Creative bowls and delicious smoothies prepared and served with a lot of LOVE. With the top - SUPER CHEAP and DELICIOUS. I look forward to it every time and so does my stomach.

Danger! You cannot pay by card. CASH ONLY. This used to be a really great restaurant, but since it changed ownership the service has become extremely poor and the prices have risen. We don't go there anymore. We used to eat there once a week.

Small Vietnamese vegetarian bowl shop. Looks very nice and feels really comfortable. There is a wide selection of Asian dishes and also great homemade drinks and smoothies. I found everything I had to be very tasty. And the store stands out because a lot of it is made in-house. The mini spring rolls looked really fresh and were the best I've ever had. The prices are okay. I definitely want to come back and try the rest of the menu.

The Bodhicitta Vegan Bowl offers really fantastic vegan dishes and deserves a high rating for its consistent vegan focus alone. The variety and quality of the food is impressive and every dish is a delight for vegans and non-vegans alike. I would normally rate this 5 stars. However, there are a few points that make me deduct stars. First and foremost, it really annoys me that card payments are not accepted. There is not even the option of paying with a card after a certain minimum spend. Everything has to be paid in cash. In this day and age, this is an absolute no-go for me and significantly detracts from the entire experience. This circumstance is not only impractical, but also very bad from a service perspective. Many customers today expect card payments to be a given and feel restricted by the requirement to pay in cash. This is an aspect that Bodhicitta Vegan Bowl should urgently improve in order to keep up with the times and optimize customer service. Overall, I can unfortunately only give it 3 stars, even though the food itself and the vegan concept are excellent. Modernizing the payment methods would certainly improve my rating.

Great vegan Asian bowls. Very tasty!!

Very good restaurant! The four of us had a cozy evening and I can only recommend it. A special thank you to the waitress, she was attentive, very friendly and accommodating! :) To drink we had homemade lemonades and a fresh herbal tea, all very delicious. As a starter we had three tapas, highly recommended. We really enjoyed the main course, whether curry or pasta dishes. The homemade seitan was just perfect, as was the preparation of tofu. And how cool-- -Everything vegan!

One of the nicest vegan places to be! Both the chef and the girl who serves are quite welcoming and serve with a sense of real concern and warmth. The food is really nice and worth the money. The quantity served per each item is a quite enough for one person.

Service was nice, prices were fair, food was unfortunately just okay. Had the crispy herb mushrooms and two different bowls, where unfortunately the sauces weren't that convincing.

Very small but fine restaurant. I really enjoy having lunch here. Always tastes great. The ingredients are very fresh, the staff is very friendly and professional. You don't have to wait long for your order, it comes very quickly.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff was rude and unhelpful... i was there for one delivery pickup...they want, driver will deliver there food but they do not want,driver will use there WC (who come there to pick there order to deliver there customer) woooww that's crazy 😂😂😂😂😂😊😂😂😂😂😂😊😂

Extremely nice staff. You're immediately in a good mood when you eat there. The food was very tasty and we also got water without any problem! If you are in Charlottenburg, you should definitely eat there.

The selection isn't huge. We ordered a few things to try. It was tasty, beautifully presented, but didn't offer anything exceptional in terms of taste. Price-performance ratio OK, but not cheap. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is a bit cool.

Small, cozy restaurant with very friendly service and a sufficiently large menu. My highlight was the herb mushrooms with kimchi mayo! The Mien Tron was also very good, unfortunately the consistency of the noodles wasn't for me. The price-performance ratio is okay, so a visit is recommended.

This is an awesome excellent vegan place! Their drinks are also super tasty. The staff is very friendly but unfortunately it usually takes a long time to get the order. I still recommend it very much.

The food was delicious. Creamy sauces and crunchy vegetables. I don’t know what’s in the falafel, but it’s the most amazing falafel I had (though not your typical chickpea one). Was there at lunch time on a weekday and the service was fast, polite and quick.

Crisp and fresh vegetables. Homemade Seitan tastes very tasty. Service is very attentive. Portions are nice and big. Price-performance is totally right. Modern authentic Asian atmosphere.

Sorry, but really just not 4.9 stars, so there is a much worse rating than necessary. Still: the food wasn't bad, but really nothing special. The wontons were greasy but tasteless, as was the peanut sauce. The main course is always the same with a different sauce. Dry mini salad with fatty meat substitute, rice + any sauce. A little more choice or sometimes vegetables with real nutritional value would be great. And drinks only an unfinished soda or two different teas. That's a bit low for the 500th Vietnamese shop on Kantstrasse. Unfortunately also very cold.

They were used to be good. But quality got worse day by day. Today my Pho was over cooked and all so cut short. It's not quality for pay and guys are only stupid excuses. Not their fault. And no apologies. They offered me for new portions but Unfortunately no time for it. But looks like they are not taking serious. Anyway I need to pay full amount. It's big disappointment visited more than 20times.

We found this little place by chance through an app that shows nearby vegan restaurants. We were really excited!! The food was delicious, the service was great & all in all not that expensive. Portions were large enough that I was able to take home an almost full meal. The leftovers were packed again with extra salad and fresh vegetables, which I thought was very cute. Highly recommended & if I'm in the area again I'll definitely go here again :)

Wir hatten eine Vorspeise und 2 Hauptgerichte. Zuvor besuchten wir schon viele verschiedene gute vegane Restaurants aber dieses war Bodhicitta sticht dabei nochmal heraus! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker und wir werden auf jedenfall wiederkommen! Zudem können viele Gerichte auch glutenfrei zu bereitet werden!

Das Soja Schnitzel ist leckerer als ein normales. Hatte ich so auch noch nicht.

I used to think vegan bowls are plain and tasteless but this soybean steak totally blew my judgement.😋and the red curry is just right!! if only there were more rice. The waitress was so nice too, who corrected the mistake i found on the beverage menu immediately.

Hier kommt man wegen des Essens her. Dieses ist wirklich sehr geschmackvoll und es gefällt mir, dass die Speisekarte nicht eine Flut an Gerichten bietet. Innovative alkoholfreie Getränke! Wirklich top! Für den 5. Stern wünschte ich etwas zügigeren und aufmerksameren Service. Sind aber alle freundlich gewesen!

super frisch super lecker vernünftiger Preis. Es gab Reisnudeln mit gegrilltem Sojasteak… Das Steak erinnerte mich in Konsistenz und Optik an krossgebackene Ente. Geschmacklich war es keine Ente ;-) Die Soße an den Reisnudeln… der Hammer. Hab ich geschmacklich keinen Vergleich zu. Überhaupt war es ein Feuerwerk für meine Geschmacksnerven. Absolut lecker. Der Salat war total frisch und knackig. Nicht ein welkes Blatt dabei. *Nachtrag: Wir waren mittlerweile das dritte Mal hier. es hat sich nichts an der Qualität des Essens geändert. Jedesmal frisch zubereitet und vor allem sehr lecker. Preislich absolut passend. Danke!

Wow, echt lecker! Der Fleischersatz wird selbst zubereitet und ist absolut köstlich, genauso wie die Saucen. Service sehr nett, in unserem Fall nur anfangs etwas langsam - wahrscheinlich weil unterbesetzt bei fast vollem Haus, denn es wurde sofort besser, nachdem sich das Restaurant etwas leerte. Kleiner Gastraum mit angenehmer Atmosphäre. Es ist nicht zu laut. Die Tische sind klein und stehen eng, daher hört man das Gespräch der Nachbarn durchaus mit. Dadurch aber umso besser geeignet für Gruppen von 4-6 Leuten.

So far the best restaurant I’ve been in Berlin - amazing gentle, present and smily service - and most importantly absolutely amazing food! The service was amazing despite them being busy and seeming to get many Wolt orders as well. Food portions were big and so tasty with fair prize. Definitely will be coming back!

Hier wird alles mit Liebe zum Detail zubereitet 🤩 nur frische Zutaten und originelle Rezepte, wenn man mal was Neues in der veganen Küche ausprobieren will. Man sitzt drinnen sehr gemütlich, wir wurden sehr schnell und überaus freundlich bedient und ich finde es wirkt sehr einladend, dass die Küche offen ist. Die Preise sind für diese hohe Qualität auch sehr fair.

Das was sich jede/r Veganer*in wünscht. Und auch jede sich nicht vegan ernährende Person überzeugt. Und dazu ist der Preis wirklich fair! 10/10

Haben vorher primär via Wolt bestellt und zuletzt mal etwas abgeholt. Alle Gerichte durchweg sehr lecker und weit ab vom Standard, von Vorspeisen bis Hauptspeisen. Habe am Wochenende einen der Mitbetreiber kennengelernt, sehr sympathisch! Müssen demnächst mal in Persona vorbeikommen, Laden sieht stylisch aus.
