Honestly very disappointed by this experience. We came here because it’s mentioned in the Michelin guide. Please don’t trust that. We paid 170€ for 2 people for pretty mediocre food and pretty bad service. They mentioned the Mami’s bolognese was a signature dish, served with a taco. We got lettuce as a taco and a mini pot with some meat inside. Overall the service has been quite bad, very pushy and putting their hands very close to the food. Oh, also please change those jugs shaped like a fish that do a horrible noise when you pour water. We are now burping like crazy and we didn’t digest the food at all. Please do yourself a favor and choose another place.

Unfortunately not the best experience for a place that was recommended on the Michelin Guide. I understand that restaurants and chefs can be creative with the dishes, but maybe it was the pairing we had, that dishes were heavy to both my partner and I. 3 plates with crème fraiche or similar, 3 plates with lettuce, some too acid. Portions were small but not spectacular, and the price of 85 euros each definitely not good value for the type of quality we had. What we didn’t like: Waiter was slightly invasive to our conversation, interrupted several times while we were chatting and eating. Food was a bit dull, I don’t think ingredients were of the highest quality. The water on a very warm day could have been at least cold or have ice, and was as warm as the day. The salmon trout was very salty, don’t mention the “lettuce tacos” never call a taco anything not made with tortilla.

This place was exceptional. A family run business. The food was absolutely on point and service was highly attentive. Do not miss!

A feast for the senses! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had dinner at MaMi's yesterday – and what can I say? It was crazy! The 10 courses were like a culinary roller coaster ride - imaginative, special and simply delicious! 🎢🍴 The atmosphere? An absolute feel-good dream. You can feel that there is attention to detail here - and then there is Miri, the boss. She is present, warm and makes you immediately feel welcome. 🥂 They manage to create a perfect mix of relaxed ambience and sophisticated cuisine. Hats off! Conclusion: MaMi’s is not just a restaurant, it is an experience. We'll definitely be back! 🙌

Today we went to Mami's with slow food friends for the summer party with tapas and sunshine after unexpected rain. We also drank wonderful Pinot Rosé sparkling wine from our favorite sparkling wine estate Bamberger an der Nahe. A loving, family atmosphere combined with a fascinating variety of flavors in the food and an expertly compiled wine selection. What more do you want. Heaven on Earth.

Food was okay, but I expected a lot more for the price. The highlights were missing. Service was efficient and attentive. Charging 5 euros for the water from the jug is unrefined.

MaMis is a lovingly run restaurant by a Swabian brother and sister. The food and wine accompaniment is lovingly thought out and you feel at home. We had the 10 course menu with wine accompaniment and everything was on point! Be sure to ask for the homemade limoncello 🫶

The wine accompaniment with the attention to detail and the passion that the siblings Marcel and Miriam have clearly put into this project make the evening an experience that can be perfectly shared with either a loved one or someone you would like to get to know. The food was creative and the value for money was unbeatable.

Service was really super friendly and attentive. The food was great, there was nothing to complain about. There were also many vegetarian options, gladly again!

The experience at this restaurant moved my boyfriend to tears. The food is a remarkable blend of indulgent umami and refined elegance, balancing quality ingredients with thoughtful execution. The mushrooms, in particular, were astonishing; they somehow had the rich, comforting flavor of perfectly crisped potato skins. This culinary marvel exemplifies how gourmet interpretations of humble ingredients can transcend expectations and touch the soul. We had the 10 course meal + wine pairings and a final limoncello.

We ordered a 10-course meal to share for our group. 100% recommended! They were able to serve it vegetarian for half of the group, and with meat for the other half. Great selection of wines. The location is ideal, in a calm street. Very scenic at dusk in summer 🌄. Very friendly staff!

All around successful evening. Very good, balanced menu (8 courses) - beautifully presented. Service courteous but pleasantly reserved. Very good wine list - we each had a glass of Rose brut sparkling wine as an aperitif (delicious - fruity) and a bottle of Bamberger brut nature sparkling wine (fantastico!) with our meal. The whole thing is of course not cheap in terms of price, but it is reasonable. We paid significantly more (including a Michelin star) and were less enthusiastic! We'll definitely be back!

Bullshit cuisine at an exorbitant price. Caution! “to share” (sharing menu or “table deck yourself”) means that the price stated in the menu must be multiplied by two!!! So, without wine, it comes to almost 160 euros for two people, which is simply laughable for what is on offer. The approximately 8 tiny courses were OK, but never worth that much money! With such high prices and small portions, I expect 100% certified organic ingredients, but that wasn't the case. In addition, with every course you get a lecture about the ingredients and the question of whether "everything is OK"... it wasn't particularly relaxed and relaxed, as some people write here. Overall snob alert! For half the price you can get two “filetto al pepe” + wine + really relaxed, charming service in the Italian family restaurant “Cenacolo” on Sredzki Street. - At MaMi's the marketing hype apparently works and everyone falls for it. 🤣 But if you need it... 🤣 At least everything was edible, even if some of the culinary experiments don't fall under the category of "soul food"...

Amazing experience with extraordinary wines!

We were able to spend a wonderful evening here. The menu at its finest! The service was relaxed, relaxed, super friendly, warm and competent! ….and finally boss, boss and dog; soo friendly, soo cosmopolitan! Thank you thank you! 🙏 🤩

I would actually like to give it a 4.5 out of 5 overall. It is definitely noticeable in all areas that MaMi's is a project close to the heart. Service and ambience: 5 out of 5 Beautiful, idyllic outdoor area. In addition to the host Miriam, other very friendly, competent and committed people work in the service. The wines are recommended truly skilfully and harmoniously with the individual dishes. Food: (Idea) 5 out of 5 / (Implementation) 4 out of 5 A lot of skill, passion and passion are also involved in the kitchen. The large vegetarian tasting menu (“Tischlein deck dich”) with 10 dishes offers an interesting mix of down-to-earthness and creativity - although I still see some potential for improvement here. Overall, they seem to follow a very expressive, sometimes eclectic style. Almost every gait is fortissimo. Subtlety and quiet tones are not the motto here, but rather “punch in your face”. I generally like this approach, but here and there I feel like it oversteps the mark and some of the dishes are simply over-seasoned/overloaded with intense flavors. For me, the play with sweetness, saltiness and acidity tends to be a bit exaggerated - from my subjective point of view, one could like to switch down a gear here. Nevertheless, the bottom line is really good food and a great restaurant. Absolute recommendation!

Recommended for fine dining in Berlin! Very tasty food, surprising but delicious combinations. Cozy setting to eat on the terrace. Service also extremely friendly. We would love to come back on our next visit to Berlin!

Can not recommend this place enough. Absolutely top notch dishes, very well thought out and unique tastes. Vegetarian Bolo will stay in my head. I usually don't care much about service, but here the waiters were extremely nice and hospitable, I've only seen such professionalism in a couple of places. For this level of cuisine the prices are indeed not that high, Michelin's Bib Gourmand is totally on point.

I really like this quaint place. I appreciated the hostess was very warm and welcoming. She had a really sincere smile which I appreciated. And the fact that they wrote my name on the table on a little rock, meant such a big deal to me. The sourdough bread was excellent with the aïoli, and I could’ve eaten more of the bread. The wine pairing with my ceviche was amazing. And the white chocolate dessert was amazing and definitely must get. Overall, my experience was delightful and something to look forward to when I go back to Berlin .

An absolute must in Berlin. We have rarely had such a taste explosion and in the set menus each course gets progressively better. The wine list and service are incredible!

really nice place where you can order an 8 or 10 course tasting menu. we chose the 8 course and were served: - smoked leek dashi soup (complimentary, this was amazing, flavour bomb concentrate with such a warm and welcoming gesture tied to it) - pastrami with bread, aioli spread and cabbage as a starter (felt that this wasn’t needed but the pastrami was one of the best I’ve tasted) - salmon ceviche (unfortunately this dish was lost on me, it was probably the carrots and how the sauce was way too acidic and nothing to hold it down, the salmon quality was also below average…) - leek, beetroot & saffron cream (this was amazing, the saffron cream was delightful) - pimentos de padrón (the orange and cheddar seemed strange to me at first but somehow it works, I wished they used lemon instead of the orange for acidity as I felt the orange was too sweet) - croquette with celery & chimichurri soup, the croquette + whatever sauce was underneath was so good one of my favourites of the menu - main course of king oyster mushrooms with chili & salad, wonderful all together - desserts: sour cream, apple, gochujang & honeybread, with uta pear in white chocolate and pumpkin seeds, the latter dessert was amazing :)

Very cute little place with very friendly staff. As has been described here many times, one can only confirm this. However, you shouldn't be very hungry and go eat there. This is a relaxed meal together and, above all, enjoy. This is the wrong place to shovel in. The prices are correspondingly high, but still OK in comparison. Everything was very tasty and you felt like you were in good hands.

Great family run restaurant. Every dish is a surprise

Hervorragendes Essen, die 10 Gänge sind eine absolute Empfehlung.

Food & Wine ist wirklich Programm. Das Essen ist hervorragend und der Wein passt sensationell gut zum jeweiligen Gang. Manches Gericht erscheint von Namen her Standard zu zu sein (z.B. Pimentos de Patron), was dann aber kommt ist kreativ, neu und mutig. Alles Gerichte waren toll abgeschmeckt und nie langweilig. Das i-Tüpfelchen war dann die Weinbegleitung. Hier wird man leider trotz hoher Preise oft enttäuscht. Im MaMi endlich mal wieder ein Highlight. Jeder einzelne Wein war etwas besonderes, wurde kompetent erklärt und passte perfekt. Nicht wirklich ausschlaggebend, aber mich hat auch gefreut, dass die Gläser vernünftig eingeschenkt wurden. Leider wird in anderen Restaurants in Weinbegleitungen oft eher ein Probierschluck eingeschenkt. Der Service war eh top, alles in allem ein schöner Abend und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein sensationelles Lokal, wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier hier (zu acht, Vegetarier, Pescetarier, Fleischesser) und es hätte nicht besser sein können. Das Essen und der Wein sind auf allerhöchstem Niveau, der Service ist fantastisch, herzlich, aber nicht aufdringlich, es passt alles. Dabei ist die Atmosphäre einfach wunderbar, hier ist trotz der überragenden Qualität nichts „Etepetete“ oder aufgesetzt auf Haute Cuisine gemacht, sondern total unaufgeregt und einfach nur gemütlich. Unbedingte Empfehlung 👌🏼

Tolles Essen in tollem Ambiente. Wir hatten das 4 Gänge Sharing Menü. Super leckeres Essen mit einer Vielzahl an verschiedenen Geschmäcker. Die dabei verwendeten Komponenten waren dabei nicht besonders Extravagant oder besonders, aber die Kombination vermeintlich einfacher Komponenten ist trotzdem sehr gelungen. Geschmackliches Highlight war der Kürbis mit dem Ziegenfrischkäse. Finde zudem die Idee des Sharing Menüs originell. Ist aber sicher auch nicht für jeden etwas.

Ein wundervoller Abend. Haben spontan durch Warteliste mit knapp 24h Vorlauf einen Tisch bekommen und das "kleine" Sharing Menü mit 8 Gängen genossen. Die Speisen waren innovativ, neu und ansprechend angerichtet. Jeder Gang war ein absolutes Highlight. Die Kräuterseitlinge waren auch für Nicht-Pilz-Fans genial und ein Hochgenuss. Die Portionsgröße war genug um satt zu werden, hat aber auch nicht überfordert. Der Service war traumhaft; aufmerksam, bestens informiert, locker, diskret und alles in allem einfach top. Als Gastronom konnte ich mich hier nur fallen lassen und geniessen! Ich werde lange nicht müde werden, dieses Kleinod an Kulinarik weiterzuempfehlen. Danke für den tollen Abend.

Mindblowing experience! Amazing food from chef with wine pairing and super attentive service. Pricey, but definitely worth it.

It was our 2nd time and we had “a small table (8 dishes)” menu. We loved this place from our first visit so we tried more options this time. They are still good e.g Miami’s bolognese, sour dough & smoked ham, bell pepper super delicious but spätzle was a little too fishy for us with katsuobushi and the deserts were not as good as last time. I was a bit disappointed with alcohol free wine but normal wines are generally super lecker. Nevertheless, this is a place I would take my guests for a special day as now we know the best dishes :)

Wir waren im Juli für eine Woche in Berlin und hatten im Mami´s unseren schönsten, leckersten, wunderbarsten Abend! Der Service war superfreundlich und überaus kompetent - und trotzdem lässig. Für uns wirklich perfekt :-D. Das Essen (wir hatten das Menü mit 8 Tellern zum Teilen) absolut lecker und ausgefallen. Wir gehen immer wieder gerne essen, aber ein Restaurant dieser Art kannten wir noch nicht. Die Weinkarte lässt keine Wünsche offen, sie wurde sehr fachkundig zusammengestellt. Sie hatten sogar unseren Lieblingswein, deshalb gab es da für uns keine Experimente. Dazu noch der hübsche Sitzplatz im Freien an einem lauen Berliner Abend, eine Strassenmusikerin spielte auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite - es war wirklich wunderschön und sooo lecker. Zur Preisgestaltung: Wer Wert auf gutes, hochwertiges Essen legt, dazu noch handwerklich aufwendig hergestellt, wird die Preise als absolut fair ansehen. Wir haben eindeutig schon teurer und schlechter gegessen. Danke an das gesamte Team von Mami! Wenn wir wieder in Berlin sind, wird das auf alle Fälle wiederholt.

Nice and unpretentuous with great wines and creative food.

Da wo die Oderbergerstrasse am touristischsten ist, versucht sich das Geschwisterpaar Marcel und Miriam Hertrampf an anspruchsvollem Fine Dining. Offensichtlich mit Erfolg, denn ohne Vorbestellung ist nur mit sehr viel Glück ein Tisch zu bekommen. Der Gast merkt schnell, dass die Küche hohe Ansprüche an Qualität und Frische der Lebensmittel hat, die in ihr verarbeitet werden. Das Prinizip: Egal ob a la carte oder Menü - hier teilen sich immer zwei Esser ein Gericht. Zu den beiden Menüs gibt es eine optionale, sehr sinnige Weinbegleitung. Gekocht wird mit Ambition, wobei manche eine Idee besser aufgeht als die andere. Insgesamt aber unbedingt zu empfehlen, auch weil der Service wirklich erstklassig ist.

Unique experience but quite expensive

Ein Genuss pur, dass muss man mal erlebt haben. Alles sehr, sehr lecker und außergewöhnlich.

Abgesehen davon, dass das Essen wirklich spitze war, würde ich gerne den überragenden Service hervorheben! Beide Kellnerinnen waren ausgesprochen sympathisch und haben uns aufmerksam und unkompliziert durch den Abend geführt. Vielen Dank dafür! Viel besser geht es nicht!

Ich war bereits zweimal im MaMi‘s und beide Besuche waren perfekt. Der Service ist herzlich und aufmerksam. Excellente Weinempfehlung. Das Essen ist auf hohem Niveau. Vom ersten bis zum letzten Gang eine Gaumenfreude - besondere Geschmackspaarungen und schön würzig. 100%ige Empfehlung!

Einfach super! Selten so nett bedient worden in Berlin.

Im MaMis ist ein guter Abend immer sicher. Fantastische und großzügige Weinauswahl (200+ Positionen) und ansprechend abgeschmeckte Küche formen samt der schönen Terrasse ein stimmiges Gesamtkonzept. In dieser Gegend wohl das beste Lokal! Wir haben flaschenweise Wein getrunken. Gibt man etwas weniger Gas, kann man hier auch durchaus fair bepreist essen gehen.

Waren zu Dritt dort, alle waren sehr bemüht. Sogar auf meine Laktose und Fruktose Intoleranz wurde Rücksicht genommen und somit das 8 Gang Menü adaptiert. Wirklich sehr selten und Hut ab! Tolles saisonales Essen, lecker Wein und fairer Preise! Super gerne wieder :)

Vivimos en el barrio y Mamis gana en calidad al resto de locales. Hacía tiempo que queríamos probar los pimientos del Padrón , si google lo permitiera lo puntuaría con 10 estrellas. Wunderschönes Restaurant, toller Service, unglaublich leckeres Essen und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Habe meinen Geburtstag in MaMi's gefeiert und kann es nur jedem ans Herz legen. Alle waren vom Essen, der Location und dem freundlichen Service begeistert.

Klein aber Oho trifft es wohl am besten. MaMi's ist ein kleines gemütliches Lokal mit Terrasse an der belebten Oderberger Straße. Allein das reicht eigentlich schon als Argument für einen schönen Sommerabend. Dazu bekommt man hier wirklich spannende und leckere Gerichte serviert. Am besten gar nicht in die Karte gucken, sondern einfach das "Tischlein deck dich" Sharing Menü bestellen. Hier bleiben wahrlich keine Wünsche offen. Dazu gibt es eine fein sortierte Auswahl an hervorragenden Weinen und auch alkoholfreien Alternativen. Es ist offensichtlich, dass hier gastronomisches Herzblut und Fachkompetenz aufeinander treffen - eine großartige Kombination.

Eine tolle Restaurant-Erfahrung mitten im Prenzlauer Berg. Wir hatten das Sharing Menü mit 8 Gängen. Die Portionen sind wirklich ausreichend und alle Gänge hatten tolle Kompositionen. Geschmacklich wirklich wunderbar. Auch die Weine waren prima. Auf der Weinkarte sollte jeder fündig werden können. Der Service locker, zugewandt und aufmerksam. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Spontan eingekehrt Abends. Sehr zuvorkommender und freundlicher Service. Die vegetarische Auswahl war überzeugend und lecker. Der Wein war mindestens genauso gut. Ich würde aufjedenfall eine Empfehlung aussprechen und sage danke für einen schönen Abend bei euch. 🙏🏽 😊

We went there for dinner and we took the “wishing table” . So we let the chef decide our menu with wine pairing too . It was an incredible experience, the food was so tasty and the wine pairing was a dream . It’s not cheap but it is worth it. Definitely recommend.

Really a hidden gem. a plce to go

Geheimtipp! Wer ausgewählte Weine und besondere Speisen mag wird voll auf seine Kosten kommen. Der Service ist exzellent und fachkundig. Es gibt eine kleine Speisekarte sowie die Möglichkeit ein Sharing Menü ab 2 Personen zu nehmen. Dafür sind die Speisen überragend gut. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm, etwas entspannte Musik im Hintergrund. Auf jeden Fall nicht laut. Preis/Leistung stimmt auch. Genuss sowie Erlebnis stehen hier im Vordergrund. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein Kellerlokal mit einer schon eher kuriosen Speisekarte. Bolognese Sauce auf Salat, ein paar Stückchen Sushi ohne Soja für über 20 €. Gott sei Dank gab es auch einen Teller Schinken mit Brot bestellen, um satt zu werden. Sehr teuer.

Mit einem Wort kann man dieses geniale Konzept garnicht beschreiben… wir haben das Sharing Menu „Tischlein, deck Dich“ gegessen und es war auf gar keinen fall langweilig. Das Personal ist sehr professionell und zeigt von Willen und Freude an der Arbeit. Ich bin kein großer Weintrinker aber die Sommeliére Miriam hat mit ihrem Wissen und Engagement definitiv überzeugt und abgeliefert! Sogar Marcel, der Chef de Cuisine kommt aus der Küche um ein oder zwei Gänge zu präsentieren, sodass er seine Leidenschaft an den Gast bringen kann! Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme gerne wieder… definitiv ein Highlight meines Berlin Trips!

This is good. Limited menu but amazing items. I‘m a fan of their Bolognese. Super, super nice staff. One of the few nice places on Oderberger.

Kleines Restaurant im Souterrain. Wir haben das Überraschungsmenü genommen und waren begeistert. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

We wanted to have some wine and desert but we were "bounced" when we said kindly and honestly in advance that we would like to have some wine and desert only - with a reason that tables needs to be reserved to other customers who would also have a full meal. I understand that restaurants needs to make more profit but the approach and attitude was not nice at all... (There were many empty & not reserved tables when we arrive around 20:15 on a Sunday evening)

We love this place! It was our second time and the staff is super friendly. Although the food isn’t particularly special, it is well prepared and together with the great wine selection and friendly owners, it makes a great dining experience!

Wir haben im Mami´s unsere diesjährige Weihnachtsfeier mit ca. 20 Leuten verbracht. Auf unseren Wunsch hin, wurden zuvor die Menge an vegetarischen & veganen Optionen abgefragt und das Menü entsprechend angepasst. Vielen lieben Dank für eure Flexibilität!! Das Tischlein-deck-dich war das reinste Schlaraffenland. Das Essen war außergewöhnlich und sehr lecker kombiniert, wunderschön angerichtet und der Wein war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Auch die vegetarischen und veganen Optionen waren eine Augenweide und genauso toll wie der Rest. Wir können dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen für besondere Abende.
