Erbil in Berlin

Ich bin oft hier und das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Auch die Bedienung war bisher immer freundlich, weshalb ich trotz dieser Erfahrung 4 Sterne vergebe. Heute wurden mein Kumpel und ich allerdings von einer Mitarbeiterin bedient, die wir vorher noch nie gesehen haben. Sie konnte anscheinend nur Englisch, was grundsätzlich überhaupt kein Problem ist. Leider wirkte sie aber schon bei der Begrüßung ohne erkennbaren Grund unfreundlich und hatte den Eindruck vermittelt, als wäre sie von uns genervt. Auch beim Bezahlen war ihre Art kühl und abweisend, sodass wir uns während des gesamten Besuchs nicht wirklich willkommen gefühlt haben. Es war keine schöne Erfahrung und hat den sonst sehr positiven Eindruck etwas getrübt. Trotzdem werde ich wiederkommen, weil das Essen immer gut ist und der Service bisher immer freundlich war. Ich hoffe, dass es sich hierbei nur um eine einmalige Ausnahme gehandelt hat.

Betrüger! Sollen wir etwa kontrollieren, ob alle Gerichte verpackt sind?! Ich habe drei Gerichte und ein Laffa zum Mitnehmen bestellt und musste feststellen, dass das Laffa fehlte und eines der Hühnchengerichte nicht da war. Nie wieder!

Wer Fleisch und gutes Essen mag ist hier an der richtigen Stelle. Sehr lecker!

Was für ein schönes Lokal! Viel schöner als die umliegenden Imbisse für Hartweizen, dabei kaum teurer. Sehr freundlich außerdem.

Das Restaurant Erbil in Berlin hat uns sehr begeistert! Das Fleisch war einfach das Beste – saftig, zart und perfekt zubereitet. Der Grillgeschmack war hervorragend und unglaublich lecker, man merkt sofort die hohe Qualität der Produkte. Auch die Präsentation der Gerichte war sehr schön und appetitlich. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal – die Atmosphäre war sehr warm und angenehm. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der gutes Fleisch und echtes Grillessen liebt!

Als ich das Restaurant und die Bewertungen zum ersten Mal sah, beschlossen wir zu bestellen. Wir riefen an, und nachdem wir online für 72 Euro bestellt und bezahlt hatten, wurde die Bestellung storniert. Wir riefen erneut an, und der Mitarbeiter am anderen Ende der Leitung sprach weder Arabisch noch Englisch, sondern nur Deutsch. Er wusste nicht, wie er uns erklären sollte, dass es sich um ein irakisches Restaurant mit einer zweisprachigen Speisekarte handelte: Englisch und Deutsch. Wir sagten: „Okay, gut“, aber am Telefon hatte man uns ja nicht verstanden. Ist es also nur dem Namen nach ein irakisches Restaurant? Wie kann das sein? Auf unsere Frage nach dem Grund für die Stornierung hieß es, sie hätten keine guten Kebabs mehr. Wir fragten, warum der Rest der Bestellung storniert wurde. Kurze Zeit später erhielten wir eine E-Mail, in der stand, dass die Bestellung wegen Überlastung storniert worden sei und wir in 45 Minuten erneut bestellen sollten, falls wir eine Antwort wünschten. Der Service war von Anfang an miserabel. Leider war es ihnen egal, und unser Geld ist eingefroren und wird erst nach vier Tagen zurückerstattet. Mein Rat: Wenn Sie persönlich vorbeikommen möchten, sollten Sie sich nicht auf Online-Bestellungen beschränken.

Das Lokal ist etwas eng, aber das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und der Service recht schnell. Vegane Gerichte sind weit verbreitet, aber auch die Fleischauswahl (Huhn, Lamm usw.) ist sehr zufriedenstellend. Empfehlenswert.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Super Mittagsangebot. Vegetarisch und mit Fleisch. Auch mit größeren Gruppen gut für ein gemeinsames Mittagessen oder Abendessen.

Ich liebe diesen Ort, vor allem wegen der Leute, die hier arbeiten. Sie sind immer so nett und freundlich. Das Tandoori-Brot ist fantastisch und auch die Grillgerichte schmecken mir sehr gut. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir kommen nun schon seit fünf Jahren nach Berlin, dies war also unser fünftes Mal... Es ist erschwinglich und das Essen ist fantastisch... Das muss man einfach mal erlebt haben.

Erbil ist eines der besten Restaurants in Berlin und ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich hervorragend. Ich komme aus Kopenhagen, Dänemark, und war sehr beeindruckt. 😍

Ich habe einen Café Latte bestellt, aber sie fragten mich ständig, ob ich ihn mit Milch möchte. Es gibt aber nur eine Sorte Café Latte, und die enthält bereits Milch.

Ich war im Erbil Restaurant in Berlin und hatte eine sehr schöne Erfahrung. Das Essen war frisch, lecker und schön angerichtet – besonders das gegrillte Fleisch und die Beilagen haben richtig überzeugt. Auch der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Eine Kleinigkeit wurde am Anfang vergessen, aber nach ein paar Minuten direkt nachgebracht, also überhaupt kein Problem. Insgesamt wirklich sehr empfehlenswert – ich komme gerne wieder!

Wir haben dieses kleine Lokal zufällig bei unserer Google-Suche nach Restaurants entdeckt. Die positiven Bewertungen und die kurdische Küche (die man hier nur schwer findet, weil sie so speziell ist) haben uns sofort angesprochen. Da die Hälfte meiner Familie kurdisch ist, beschlossen wir, es auszuprobieren. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht: Das Lokal wird von echten Kurden geführt, die sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend sind. Das Essen ist genau so, wie man es typischerweise in Erbil bestellt: reichhaltig, lecker und aromatisch, mit einer großen Auswahl (auch vegetarische Gerichte) und wirklich erschwinglichen Preisen. Das Brot ist warm und wird frisch im prächtigen Tândûr gebacken. Das Lokal ist recht groß und sehr gemütlich, dekoriert mit typischen Fotos und Zeichnungen aus der Region. Ich habe alles sehr genossen und kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen! Vielen Dank!

Immer wieder lecker. Leider ist es oft sehr laut, deshalb würde ich empfehlen, nicht zu Mittags Rush Hiur zu gehen, falls man lärmempfindlich ist.

Eines der besten vegetarischen Gerichte, die ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe!🔥 Ich hatte BRYANI (Reis mit Mandeln Rosinen, Fadennudeln, Karotte, Kartoffein mit 1 MARAGA SOBE NACH WAHL) bestellt. Sehr freundlicher Service und obgleich ich unwissentlich noch 5min nach Feierabend am essen war, ließ man sich nichts anmerken! Klasse - ich komme wieder! Absoluter Tipp!

Unter den Mindestanforderungen... gehen Sie stattdessen in die schlechteste italienische Pizzeria und Sie werden zufriedener sein.

Wir kamen aus Hannover. Ich hatte mir eine Lammfleisch mit Reis, Kartoffel und Auberginen. Mit frischer Salat einge Blech bestellt. Das Essen kam alles in einem kleinen Schale drinne gemischt auch Salat. Das war geschmacklos kein Salz kein Pfeffer keine schaffe so gar nix gar nix drinne. Geschmacklos. Mein Mann hatte zwei Kebab bestellt, die sollten eigentlich scharf sein das war auch komplett Geschmack aus. Danach hatte ich Durchfall nie wieder schade um diese Weg hinzufahren.

Die Gerichte sind fantastisch und schmecken unglaublich gut. Es ist ein sehr unaufdringliches Lokal mit einfach hervorragendem Essen. Man sitzt dort und genießt ein richtig leckeres und reichhaltiges Mittagessen.

Das köstlichste Brot mit Dip und Grillspießen – meine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Everything was nice, but it could have been a little cleaner. For example, the radiators were very dirty. The Uzbek staff member was very kind and helpful.

It's not particularly cozy there, unfortunately, as it's more reminiscent of a snack bar than a restaurant. The food is good and the service is okay.

Very expensive and the staff were unfriendly. You can get better and much tastier food elsewhere. Eating there and paying half the price was a big mistake; I wouldn't go there again for that price. I definitely don't recommend it.

as always, you go in with an expectation. In this case, it was quite a letdown. No grill until 15:00 hours, and what they had as an alternative, was expensive and not special at all. we had a mixed dish in a bowl with rice, some salad and some meat. And one drink. €25pp. there are far better options in Berlin.

Excellent food. You get a complimentary soup as a welcome drink. Tea is also free. The lamb or chicken skewers are very tasty. Freshly baked bread is included with your order, as well as a salad plate! With two skewers, salad is unnecessary!

The food is insanely tasty, the bred slaps, various drink options to choose yourself, staff is super nice — we even got free tee!

As an expat living outside of Germany, I ate the best kebab I've ever had in Europe here. Their homemade bread was fantastic; crispy and warm. The biryani rice was fluffy, generously portioned, and very delicious. They offered complimentary soup when I ordered. Even the tea I drank after the meal was delicious :) It was a strong, brewed tea, like the kind we call "smuggled tea" back home.

A super nice team and incredibly delicious food. That makes my weekly office day much sweeter.

The food is super delicious. We had the small dip plate with the bread. Lamb grilled with Biryani and a soup. There is also a small soup included as service and the fresh Ayak was super good. Totally recommend ♥️

We tried Erbil (Iraqi spot) and overall it was… fine, but a bit disappointing compared to the hype. I had the lamb & beef kebab — one skewer for €12, which felt expensive. The meat itself was genuinely nice, well cooked and tasty, but there just wasn’t much of it. They bring a naan-style flatbread and a complimentary soup, which is a nice touch… but that’s basically it. My wife had the lamb with biryani rice. The lamb was okay, but the rice was underwhelming — not much flavor coming through. We also tried the zaatar bread (the darker one) and I had a homemade ayran, which was nice and refreshing. In the end we paid around €45 for two, and I still left a bit hungry. Nothing terrible, just nothing that made me want to rush back.

Went here with wife, kids and sister in law. Excited since the reviews were great and it was recommended by my sister in law. The staff was very friendly but unfortunately I was not really satisfied with the food. I found a hair in my meal and too much of my bread and veggies were charred to the point that I would not eat them. The others were satisfied though. Would not go there again myself.

We were at Erbil Restaurant this evening. Everything was super fresh, beautifully seasoned, and perfectly portioned. The bread was fantastic – slightly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, perfect with the dips and the grilled food. The salads were crisp, the meat tender and flavorful. The service was very friendly and attentive; you really feel welcome. Overall: a truly enjoyable restaurant with great food. We'll definitely be back!
