A fantastic evening in a fantastic restaurant. A truly stunning wine list. We had, among other dishes, Wagyu beef, octopus with burrata foam, preceded by Spanish croquettes, and a whole host of other dishes. Good service, very good food, and outstanding wine.

I was impressed by his knowledge of wine and passion for food. We spent nearly three hours enjoying the wines, each explained individually, and each wine was brought to me with a different wine, which was incredibly enjoyable. I casually mentioned that a particular pairing didn't seem right, but he showed me a few more and let me taste them. This place is truly a gem. It's the place to find the wine of your life.

We had the 10-course menu and everything was fantastic! The service is incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. We will definitely be back.

Not a nice place at all!! I witnessed people who live nearby nicely and politely asking for consideration in terms of noise and other stuff. The staff treated them rudely and not in a cooperative way. I understand that there are a variety of different interests but you can still be friendly and try to find solutions. I won't support this kind of behavior any more

Ah, you absolutely must try the course meal here. It's simply amazing. There's no vague or ambiguous dish here, it's simply exquisite. Think of it as fine dining disguised as casual dining. It's a place that treads a fine line between one Michelin star and none. I highly recommend the wine pairing, but if that's too much of a stretch, just order the course meal and a bottle of wine.

You can feel the care put into each dish, but the atmosphere is so relaxed and comfortable. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, explaining everything. I was so happy the whole time I was eating and drinking! I ate the course, and the wine pairing was absolutely delightful! The food and wine presentations were perfect! Highly recommended! A fantastic experience! We had the sharing menu—a great decision. From the welcome from the chef to the last of three desserts, it was an exciting culinary journey at the cutting edge. Very creative, vegetable-based cuisine, sometimes with an Italian touch. The wine list had a wide selection; we found a good Silvaner, and some courses were accompanied by an extra sip. We'll be back!

This wasn't our first time there. Our discovery of the summer! Fine dining at the highest level can also be casual. All-inclusive: a menu with wine pairing, aperitif, and nightcap. And the wine pairing truly surprised and captivated us. Presented by the competent and friendly team, who provide background information and always offer the perfect selection. Our tip: always try the current drinks at the bar—you can expect real surprises there :) Full marks.

Everything was great - from the food to the service and the overall good vibes. Every dish that we tried was superb - interesting and to the point - incl the goat cheese creme brulee. The prices are very fair given the overall good experience at that place. Will definitely come back, favorite Gastrobar in Kreuzberg!

Recommend to try 10 course menu! It is worth it

Our meal at Fa.me was a delight. The decor is extremely simple, but the food is incredible and the service impeccable. We especially recommend the pulled pork tacos, the truffle gnocchi, and (our highlight) the octopus with burrito foam. Cannot comment on the wines as we did not try any, but the cocktails we had were also excellent.

We went there for oysters for my birthday and both had severe stomach problems the next day...too bad! The restaurant was completely unsympathetic. Sad!

This was our second visit to the fa:me gastrobar and we were very satisfied again. The cocktails are excellent, and the mille-feuille and smoked burrata are also highly recommended. Overall, the food is fantastic. The service was particularly attentive and warm. Since only one of us was drinking alcohol, non-alcoholic drinks and suitable accompaniments were actively offered – with genuine enthusiasm and expertise. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back.

You can feel how much they love what they do. Outstanding service, food, selection, combinations, interest in the art, and joy in sharing it with us. We spent hours here and will definitely be back :)

Inventive and subtile cuisine with reasonable portions and very friendly service. A blast in a city where some gastronomic restaurants follow the sad trend to serve very small portions (always frustrating for the client) and hire an unfriendly hipster service staff which doesn't know anything about what they are serving.

It was pretty much one of my best restaurants experience ever. Great service with comprehensive explanations about the servings. The food was outstanding and had so many details. I am blown away.

A wonderful restaurant with a warm yet modern atmosphere in the heart of Berlin's Kreuzberg district. The staff exceeds the usual Berlin service standards by far, being extremely friendly and authentic. The wine list is moderately priced and contains some gems – generally a lot of new and perhaps unfamiliar dishes. The food is excellent, focused on the ingredients, yet elaborately prepared without seeming forced. We shared four courses a la carte between two and were very happy; the set menu would probably have been a bit too extensive for us. We'll definitely be back!

We had the 10-course menu with a "relaxed" wine pairing and had a phenomenal evening! The courses were very creative and tasted truly delicious. The whole thing was a visual feast, too. You can tell that a lot of passion went into the creation of the dishes. The wine pairings were also extremely harmonious with the courses. The advice and selection were provided with a great deal of knowledge and dedication! Maybe we'll try one or two things again to improve the acoustics. Thanks for the great evening and see you soon!

My wife and I recently had a very nice cozy dinner at fa:me for our wedding anniversary and all we can say is, "WOW"! We decided for a 10 course menu and left it in the hands of our host. What followed was an amazing dinning experience that we will never forget. Amazing complex dishes both in optics and taste that was so genuinely presented and explained by the team. Each course was so unique and delicious along with the generous wine offerings. Service was genuinely friendly and impeccable to say the least. Highly recommend going on a Sunday for a very relax dinning experience. We look forward to going back to just sit at the bar for the amazing cocktails and finger food!

Hidden away in a somewhat hidden spot, this is a bar and a restaurant...a hybrid of both. We opted for the 10-course menu and were not disappointed. Exciting combinations like asparagus with tahini peppers bring out appetizing flavors. The wine selection is very diverse, but only a small selection is listed on the menu. A successful evening, rounded off by very professional and pleasant service. Highly recommended!

Food was great, delicate and tasty. BUT, adding the VAT on top of the price that written in the menu, it is the a horrible move, which I have never seen something like that in Berlin, not even sure it’s legal.

Magnificent, refined, and charming! I ate the menu – what a richness of flavors, what creativity, what balance and opulence of taste! Both the food and the well-chosen wine pairing deserve top marks. All this in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere! If you don't go, it's your own fault. Absolutely recommended!

Large wine selection from established and well-known wineries. The service is very friendly. Outside seating is rather simple—pleasantly, they provide cloth napkins. The food is good—considering the price relative to the portion size, I would have expected a bit more finesse. The fact that milk was used for the creme brulee chèvre isn't a given.

I'm absolutely thrilled. The ambiance, the food, and the service are simply fantastic.

Great food and nice people to treat yo self

There were three of us and we had three starters, three middle courses, two main courses, and dessert. At first, we were a little worried that we wouldn't be full because of the portion sizes, as we were very hungry, but in the end, I can say we were full! The food was very, very good; the octopus was highly recommended! We also received excellent advice regarding the wine. We felt very comfortable, and you could really tell that the people who work here do everything with great enthusiasm and heart!

This place never disappoints. The food is worth a detour already. Few places in Berlin are as consistent in delivering amazing taste. The service is why I always have to return. Feeling welcome and pampered is a given at fa:me. Highly recommended. Highliest.

Incredible! My husband and I went here last night after a recommendation from friends and we were blown away. In wine bars it’s usually either great wines or good food, but this one has both. The food was delicious (even for us as vegetarians), the service was spot-on and the owners passion for his wines is contagious. This might be our new favorite place in Neukölln! Definitely coming back.

Yesterday we were at the fa:me Gastrobar, and I can say with full conviction: It was my best restaurant experience to date - both in terms of service and food. We had the 10-course meal for €80, and for the quality that came to the plate, that's more than fair. Each course was a small revelation, perfectly balanced and full of surprising flavors. There was also the 8-part wine accompaniment, and what can I say – every single wine was a hit! I would have loved to take every bottle with me. The combination of food and wine was a real taste explosion. The service was attentive, warm and professional. You can feel that people with real passion are at work here. It certainly wasn't our last visit - I'm already looking forward to the next time! And yes, I took a few photos... but I have to admit, sometimes I was too greedy and too quick to try. Sorry about that! Absolute recommendation!

One of the best meals I’ve had in Berlin for a while. Interesting menu which blends flavours from Spain and Italy. To start we had the croquettes - which - if I had eaten those in San Sebastián, I would have been very happy. Some of the best I’ve eaten outside of Spain. The fish and beef tacos were also great. Then for the mains we had the octopus and the carbonara. The guanciale on the carbonara was incredible! My octopus was cooked perfectly - and the accompanying burrata cream was top. Wanted more. Then to top it off we had the crème brûlée which was also very tasty. Friendly service too. Will come back!
