My wife and I have now enjoyed a candlelight dinner here four times. The food and accompanying drinks are top class. The staff is extremely friendly and competent. You can clearly tell that they are having a lot of fun. Please keep it up.

I ordered 4 dishes, and the last one arrived after a wait of over an hour and 45 minutes. Of course, everyone else had finished eating over an hour ago. The waitress was alerted several times (bratwurst with sauerkraut). After I canceled my meal because everyone else at the table was already leaving and it was starting to get cold, I was charged in full for the food that hadn't been brought. Unfortunately, we didn't realize this until we got home. Never again!!!

The hotel is very conveniently located (quiet) outside the city center, yet close to the center, with direct (covered) access to the Obermain Therme thermal baths. On the positive side, we should mention the friendly and helpful staff, free underground parking, and a plentiful breakfast. On the negative side, the food and beverage prices are too high, and the cleanliness of the rooms (including bathrooms) leaves much to be desired.

The restaurant has been beautifully renovated. The service was very prompt and appropriately professional and friendly. The food is visually quite nicely presented. The local drinks and beers on the menu are very well chosen. Unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were cold in an instant; a warm plate would have helped. Unfortunately, this isn't common practice in many restaurants. However, they are trying to stand out from the crowd, and this would be a suitable measure. While the asparagus season is well advanced, if it's still on the menu, it shouldn't be woody. Otherwise, the liver and schnitzel were delicious and well prepared.

Last week we went to the spa for my husband's birthday and then had dinner in the bistro - we had the vegetarian burger with grilled vegetables and feta - unfortunately there were only two tiny cubes of feta on it, which is really a shame for this price - especially since you shouldn't declare the burger to have feta - but at least it tasted good. My dish was much more questionable: Wild garlic bread dumplings with tomato sugo. Never eaten anything worse - with a lot of imagination you could taste the wild garlic and they were super tasteless and soft when cooked. The tomato sugo consisted of chopped canned tomatoes and a few fresh cocktail tomatoes. It was really very disappointing. I wanted to tell the staff how we found the food, but no one came to ask if everything was ok. All in all, it's a shame. Especially for the price.

Good beer and delicious snacks. Very nice atmosphere. The mill has been beautifully restored.

This inn is a delight for everyone. A lovely beer garden in the summer. Parking is available. It's best to book in advance, as it's always busy.

Beware of lack of love for animals Unfortunately, our small, very well-behaved dachshund was not allowed into the restaurant upon request. This was done in a very derogatory tone. And in a place like this. Therefore I can neither judge the food nor the ambience as it is out of the question for me to eat there. Service is zero!!!
