Unfortunately, on Sunday evening May 11th, 2025 there was very unfriendly service. Who didn't even really want to offer us a place. That's a shame because the food is actually good.

The veal skewer I got the meat from was practically raw. The waitress didn't even notice me for a few minutes. The salad comes from random containers you can't even see, so you just say you'll have everything, since you have no idea what the options are. The bread is heated so hot in a microwave that you almost burn your fingers, and the kebab is poorly mixed, so some of it is just salad and in the end there is just a pile of meat in the bread. Overall, it tasted okay, but the atmosphere right on the main street isn't inviting.

We stayed at the hotel from May 1st to 3rd, 2025 and were very satisfied. We would definitely come again. We only had breakfast, so can't rate dinner. But all the staff were friendly, including reception. Class! 😇 Also the hard-working bees in the service, very keen to ensure that the breakfast plates were refilled, that the dishes were cleared, that the fully automatic coffee machines were running. Really positive. 👍 Unfortunately, we've experienced things differently. Another positive thing to mention is that we wanted an additional duvet - as soon as we told reception, it was brought to our room. Great service, GOOD arrangements. Can't fault anything. We had the opportunity to use the adjacent bathroom, which was really nice. Large pool for swimming, outdoor area with really warm water - where you also like to hang out. Diving tower, slides, children's pool, Kneipp treading pool - something for everyone. 😊 The connecting corridor is of course great, especially with children. Put on a bathrobe and feel comfortable. 😊 The rooms are practical and modern. The bathroom was clean and really stylishly decorated. The beds were comfortable (woke up without back pain after the first night, which happens to me very rarely). 👍👍 We were a little missing a small fridge/minibar, but that wasn't a big deal. We really felt very comfortable and would have liked to have stayed even longer. But that's a reason to come back. 👍 The area down there is also really beautiful and offers plenty of opportunities to go on holiday there again. This cozy restaurant offers delicious food in a rustic atmosphere. The large selection and huge portions ensure that everyone will find something they like. The friendly staff make the visit perfect. We recommend a visit!

Beware of fraud!! Ordered online via Lieferando, food never arrived, paid in advance via PayPal, around €40. The Balkan House has no idea where the food is, but doesn't want to transfer the money back either. Now we have to clarify this through the police. Don't order if you don't want to be cheated! Addendum: Very misogynistic, you are insulted during conversation and the owner says that as a woman you have nothing to say to you and that you should “shut up”.
