Hotel Hirsch in Heidenheim an der Brenz

Very nice, pity I didn't try their cuisine...

Our stay at the Hotel Hirsch was fantastic all around! The staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about everything. The rooms were very chic and comfortable. The value for money was definitely good. The breakfast was also very fresh and plentiful. The restaurant also served high-quality, delicious, and plentiful vegetarian food in the evening. We were attending an event at the Congress Center in Heidenheim. It was a comfortable 20-30 minute walk away. Otherwise, we could have driven, as there was ample and easy parking at both the hotel and the Congress Center.

My car broke down near the hotel today and I found myself in a really awkward situation – not an easy moment. Hoping for some support or at least some polite information, I called the hotel. Unfortunately, I was treated very rudely. The employee, Ms. Hirsch, simply hung up two or even three times in the middle of the conversation. That's not how you treat people, no matter the situation. I don't expect special treatment – ​​but a minimum level of respect should be a given. This experience was unfortunately disappointing and didn't help in an already stressful situation.

I was there on business and am more than satisfied. Located a little out of the way, nice and quiet. The service was very friendly and warm, dinner was very good and the breakfast left nothing to be desired. I'll definitely come back again!

The review only refers to the restaurant. Since the menu made us curious, we arrived at the Hotel Hirsch on a Friday at 8:07 p.m. to eat in the restaurant. We previously read on the hotel's website that the kitchen is open from Monday to Friday until 8:30 p.m. But we were turned away at reception and told that the kitchen closes at 8 p.m. on Fridays. When we referred to the website, the response was that we hadn't read it correctly. But we were able to prove that we can actually read. No attempt was made to ask in the kitchen whether there was anything else to eat. In our opinion, this is disappointing and unprofessional.

We stayed in the hotel for one night and felt very comfortable. The room was the family room and it was nice and large and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is wonderful and very modern, even with a bathtub and a very spacious shower. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with a large selection of high quality products. Here too, the service was very friendly and competent. The table was lovingly arranged and the whole room has a very nice, tasteful style! I particularly liked the candle on the table and the beautiful dishes. There is great parking at the hotel. Everything overall very good...The breakfast was very varied and very tasty! The staff is particularly friendly and accommodating... I can only recommend it 😊

We had dinner here while passing through. The service was very friendly and the food was very good at fair prices. I had a Maultaschen soup and a Braumeister Maultaschen plate. It tasted very delicious. 😋 I can recommend the restaurant.
