Very tasty cuisine and friendly service

Following my visit to the Golvet restaurant, I must admit that my expectations were greatly disappointed, especially given that I am used to Michelin-starred restaurants. Indeed, I had read on Google that the 5-course menu was 109 euros and the 7-course menu was 139 euros, but upon arriving there, I was confronted with much higher prices: 249 euros for the 5-course menu and 279 euros for the 7-course menu, without drinks. Also, although the restaurant's chef has a Michelin star, he didn't bother to come and greet us. The service and quality of the dishes are not at the level I expected from a Michelin-starred restaurant. I therefore advise those who wish to dine at Golvet to check the prices carefully before going there, to avoid any unpleasant surprises. Despite everything, I would like to point out that I expressed my disappointment to the restaurant staff, and that they agreed to reduce the overall price to 250 euros per person, all inclusive, in addition to offering us a bottle of wine. I am grateful for these commercial gestures, but despite this, my disappointment remains. I remain unsatisfied with the overall experience at the Golvet restaurant.

Great food, excellent service, nice location!

A wonderful, individually tailored evening with two wonderful hosts! Despite a wide range of intolerances, Vanda and Irvana have conjured up a unique, Christmas menu and contributed exceptional wines and conversations. It was certainly not our last visit to the Ahorn Group. Rating: Particularly recommended'

I don’t recommend this place. The waiter did not inform us that payment was cash only until after we had already placed our order, at which point it was too late to cancel. When we raised the issue, he did not take any responsibility and simply said, “Sorry, it’s already ordered.” This was very unprofessional. He only started informing other customers after our situation, which shows a clear lack of accountability. Additionally, the menu is only in German, so a person from abroad would not understand that payment is cash only.

Top-notch brunch Friendly service, a little slow on the terrace Very pretty place

We had dinner at Café Hardenberg and really enjoyed it. It’s a pleasant, relaxed place with a true Berlin vibe, located in an old building with high ceilings. The menu offers traditional German dishes at very reasonable prices. The waiter and bartender were both extremely polite and even apologized several times for being a bit slow due to the number of guests that evening — though, in fact, I didn’t feel any delay that would have affected our experience. A great spot for a cozy and authentic Berlin evening.
