There are good restaurants, and there are those rare places that uplift a neighbourhood. Göki is a generous and large-hearted soul, whose passion it is to strike a connection and serve the people around him. Whenever you visit, his demenour is sure to improve your mood. The warm reception I got from him was the heartiest I have received in any restaurant in Germany. From this visit, I could sense that Göki went beyond running a business. He served us much like old friendly neighbours would. While leaving this place, I instantly felt more connected to my neighbourhood. Not many restaurants in the world make me feel this way. As you can see, this review isn't about his food, which is great (like the other reviews say). It is about an experience I had with a rare kind of person - one that I will go on to cherish for a long time. As one other review here has decleared: Göki muss man einfach persönlich erlebt haben.

One of the true hidden gems of Berlin. Lovely japanese / european modern fusion hosted by their even lovelier owners. We took the Omakase with the Sake pairing. One of their greatest weakenss, the not too convenient location, is also one of its greatest strength. Because its not too crowded the owners have time to come to each table, great everyone and cater for with their utmost attention.

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant! Essen wird frisch zubereitet mit regionalen Zutaten. Karte bietet eine angenehme Abwechslung. Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Immer wieder ein Abstecher wert!

Super tasty food at a very very good price. I don't actually eat mushrooms myself, but they were excellent in the arepa. A must in Berlin for every gluten-free person!

Pretty good, 360° best entertainment

Very, very tasty food with vegan and meat options. We had Peanut Chicken, Peanut Vegan and Red Red Fish. Everything really good! The peanut sauce was fantastic. Red Red Fish also tasted great, but was a bit dry - but it went great with coleslaw salad. And the boss and her employee were super friendly. We'd love to see you come back soon.

The pizza is just perfect. I've probably gotten pizzas here 10 times and have always loved them! I hope the concept and opening hours remain exactly the same 😍

Best kebab in Berlin, the man indulged badly and was polite💯

This place (Kantstraße 140) is called Hachiko Ramen today, though I have no idea when the change of brands/ownership took place. If you are a ramen lover, simply don’t go. Too much bland noodles that inflate in the too little soup, which has with no taste at all, and the miso is not miso that I know of. Has nothing to do with ‘real’ ramen, and must be one of the worst that I tasted in my life. Truly disappointing and waste of your time and money. The decor has a lot of Japanese characters but there’s nothing Japanese about it apart from the writing on the wall. I have been to others that had nothing to do with Japan, while making good /excellent interpretations of ramen, but not here, or, when I went, the real chef was off sick or something.
