Marubi in Berlin

This place (Kantstraße 140) is called Hachiko Ramen today, though I have no idea when the change of brands/ownership took place. If you are a ramen lover, simply don’t go. Too much bland noodles that inflate in the too little soup, which has with no taste at all, and the miso is not miso that I know of. Has nothing to do with ‘real’ ramen, and must be one of the worst that I tasted in my life. Truly disappointing and waste of your time and money. The decor has a lot of Japanese characters but there’s nothing Japanese about it apart from the writing on the wall. I have been to others that had nothing to do with Japan, while making good /excellent interpretations of ramen, but not here, or, when I went, the real chef was off sick or something.

Wasser wurde direkt in der Flasche und ohne Glas zum Trinken serviert und so aus der Flasche sollte man auch trinken. Der Tee wurde auch in Kaffeglas und sehr sporadisch serviert - löser Tee ohne Teebeutel ins Glas und mit Wasser übergossen. Das Essen wurde in 8 min auf den Tisch serviert, super schnell aber aus Fertigprodukten. Alles leider lieblos! Service, der junge Mann, wirkte bei zwei Gästen total überfordert. Wir hatten Eindruck dass wir gerade stören. Schade.

Buen ramen, con precios razonables. Opciones vegetarianas sabrosas. Gyozas está bien. En general, una buena elección, cena informal.
