Very tasty food, perfect value for money. Ambience and friendliness are non-existent, you have to live with that.

Everything is freshly prepared. Where can you get fried eggs at the snack bar... at Knittis Imbiss and they are very 😋 delicious. A really recommendable snack bar and a very friendly owner. It's worth trying out. Personal favorite fried eggs, schnitzel and fried potatoes.

Nice kebab man 🥙 was even allowed to close the door because it was cold. Oh yes, by the way the kebab was very tasty! Delicious sauces with great bread!

If you have a little free time, then this imbis tram is very well suited for a quick and tasty snack.

I was in a group of 6, we all placed our orders, got charged, 10 min later we are told everything is cancelled and we need to get the money back 😅 too amateur for my liking. Not very surprising given the location. Can’t recommend

If you are fan of traditional street food, this place is for you. Being honest, for my taste there was much too much ketchup on the curry wurst, and it did not have a strong enough curry taste; but fries were quite good as was the basic bratwurst. There was a long line, but the place is very efficient so it wasn't an issue. It was a fun lunch break (very handy to the interesting "GDR Museum in der Kulturbrauerei"), not a gourmet meal - so check it out and enjoy a place that's been operating since the 1930's!

The prices do not correspond to the quality. I ordered potatoes and a cheeseburger, waited 20 minutes, only a cheeseburger was brought. They forgot about the potatoes

A real insider tip in Berlin! The Alt-Berliner Imbiss is convincing across the board. The apple pork currywurst is an absolute highlight – juicy, spicy and simply delicious. You also have to try the bratwurst and the curry boulette. The fries are nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned. The owner is incredibly friendly and has the typical Berlin snout – charming and direct. The service is quick and the prices are absolutely fair. One of the few currywurst shops in Berlin that can really be recommended. You'll be happy to come here again and again!

It's sad but true, one of the last domestic takeaways left in this city. The house specialty is the Ketwurst, along with the Bockwurst and Currywurst, these dishes are always very popular with visitors. The staff is friendlier than before and accommodates almost every request. The original GDR soft ice cream machine is still there, works perfectly and makes very tasty soft ice cream. In summer there is sparkling slush ice cream, which can pleasantly overcome some extremely hot days. The condition of the snack bar is okay, there are plenty of seats outside and anyone who likes German snack food in a familiar, homely atmosphere has come to the right place. Berlin, August 19, 2024
