A culinary recommendation was also gluten-free and, upon recommendation, a red Sardinian natural wine was drunk very well. It was a lovely evening and don't forget the service. She was very friendly and did her job well
Valentine's Day theme:
The positive first:
- Location looks appealing
Negatives:
- Way too loud
- Way too crowded
- People were constantly coming to the tables
brought while others left
are (no relaxation possible)
- Tables too close together (0
privacy)
- Waiter hardly available
- Waiters were all chewing gum!
- Cutlery was used several times
Clear dropped
- Map has been extremely shortened
- Food was forgotten
- Fillet was supposed to be medium rare but was
well done
- There was literally stress from the kitchen
Guest room to feel and hear
(Chef loudly complains)
- The damn kitchen bell every 3rd
slammed for seconds
There was absolutely no romantic and calm atmosphere. The evening was geared towards mass processing.
First and last time for us
At the weekend we were in Bad Pyrmont again for a rehab visit. A visit to a restaurant at lunchtime was planned and we went to Violett. The welcome was very personal and warm. We were accompanied to the very beautiful upper floor and were offered a window seat with a great view of the sunny promenade area. A short moment later we received the first greeting from the house - a little something to toast with, very tasty warm bread and bruschetta. We haven't been welcomed like that for a long time! The food was delicious for everyone, my ravioli with walnuts in cream sauce was a dream. And the bread! The service was quick and very personal, the ambience was nice and the price-performance ratio was good. That's what a restaurant visit should be like. Thank you for that!
New owners for 1.5 years. Croatian Mediterranean cuisine. Delicious ingredients, well-seasoned. Sides are freely selectable (e.g., grilled vegetables instead of fries with the Cordon Bleu), filling and tasty salads, and a nice, clean atmosphere—there's nothing to complain about!
Unfortunately, Al Parco has now closed and the restaurant is being taken over by a new tenant. I can't say when that will happen. I always ate well at Al Parco and the service was always great. Many thanks to the team! We'll definitely see each other at Al Fiume in Worms!
Restaurant rating: I finally managed to dine at Olive and it was worth it! The staff was friendly, the room was cozy (in terms of size) and nicely decorated, and the food was fabulous. A visit that was worth it and will certainly be repeated.
My family and I wanted to go out to eat here with our gourmet block this afternoon on March 16, 2025.
After we asked whether card payment was possible here, we were told that it was not possible.
It wasn't written anywhere and according to the Schlemmerblock it should be possible.
When I asked again and showed it, they suddenly said that the card reader was broken and they left immediately.
Sorry, but in this day and age you can't assume that everyone still pays in cash WITHOUT an address, that card payments are not possible today and that they were then lied to.
The highlight was that a customer who was already sitting at the table and had probably already ordered the food was not informed that payment by card was not possible and became suspicious when we were there for a short time.
The store saw us for the first and last time!
Nice service.
Ambiance cozy.
Unfortunately the food was a disappointment.
We expected much more due to the very minimalist menu here.
We ordered expensive monkfish, which was either raw or of very poor quality (or both) - breaded - hardly edible. Even though the food was actually beautifully presented, it was very strange and a shame.
And then there was spagetti pesto - although this was served with a large cheese at the table - it was very watery and one of the worst pastas I have ever eaten.
At least we got two coffees on the house as compensation.
