Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. There were six of us there, and we each had starters and then a main course. Starters: They were okay. Main courses – unfortunately disappointing First of all: When we ordered, the place was still relatively empty. We unfortunately had to wait a very long time for our main courses. Guests at neighboring tables, who arrived significantly after us, received their food before us – some were even finished while we were still waiting. Despite repeated promises like "The food will be right there," it took a very long time before it was finally served. Unfortunately, the food wasn't really hot by then. The truffle pizza with arugula was particularly disappointing: It arrived lukewarm – and without arugula. There were also only 4-5 very small slices of truffle on it. That's too few for the price. When we asked about the missing arugula, it took another 10 minutes before we were told that "arugula isn't on the menu" – and then shown the English menu. However, arugula is definitely listed on the German menu. After waiting for almost two hours, this is hard to understand – especially in a restaurant of this price range. Service should be good. And if such delays occur, it would have been nice if they had at least responded with some kind of concession afterwards. Unfortunately, we had to pay the full amount. A small compensation – be it a dessert, a drink, or a small discount – would have made a real difference in this situation. It's a real shame.

Today, after being left waiting for 15 minutes, we got up. The waiter walked past us five times and there were only four tables occupied. Very disappointing especially given the prices! You should definitely choose your staff better!

The food tastes good. However, the ambiance, service, and price are negative. People smoke on the enclosed terrace even though everything is closed (like the interior). The food came so quickly that it bordered on mass processing. The prices are outrageously inflated. For example: a regular pizza (tasty, but nothing special) for €25. So, it's better to find another restaurant for a nice evening and not be fooled by Google reviews. We will definitely never visit the restaurant again.

Unfortunately, smoking is allowed indoors. A no-go! There are also people standing around here and there, like bodyguards, which doesn't create a cozy atmosphere. The main course came so quickly that we hadn't even finished the appetizer. Also, parts of our order were missing. All in all, not particularly attentive. Conclusion: The food is delicious, but they place more emphasis on a great Instagram picture than on actual service.

The panna cotta was okay, but not a highlight. Overall, a lovely place for a relaxed lunch with style. Also suitable for larger groups.

Food is alright. But the service is really something. I received a large coke instead of a small one and a different order than what I asked. When I confronted the personnel they basically just shrugged it off. They could have at least apologised for mixing it up? My colleague also asked for more salad than potatoes as a side dish, instead she received much more potatoes than salad. First and last time I come here.

If you order pasta from you on Uber Eats, please include a few small side dishes such as parmesan or baguette bread. I'm not talking about a whole baguette, I'm talking about 2-3 slices. This is actually normal for all other Italians. You only deliver pure pasta, nothing else. For prices around 30 euros, that's definitely not enough. Otherwise there is nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The food is good. The only thing that annoys me is your policy that you charge 30 euros for pasta and then charge extra money for baguette bread. Nobody does that, just you.

Very nice atmosphere but unfortunately disappointing cuisine and service. Today I had a dinner date with a group of 8 people. The prices on the menu promised good quality and service. I had the fettucine with beef fillet tips, mushrooms and creamy sauce. The pasta was just aldente and the fillet tips were very tough and dry. My friends had similar problems with small portions, for example a salmon fillet with soar gel and 4 small boiled potatoes, or a risotto with half a sliced ​​asparagus stalk. 2 dishes came late, one of which was wrong and the other didn't come at all and was only prepared after we asked. It's really a shame that this restaurant is so disappointing.

A visit to this upscale Italian restaurant was a real highlight. The pasta with truffle was simply outstanding – cooked perfectly al dente and refined with an intense but wonderfully balanced truffle flavor. The recommended Lugana went perfectly with this; a fresh, elegant wine that perfectly complemented the dish. Both food and wine were of excellent quality. A clear recommendation.

Wir sind seit vielen Jahren begeisterte Gäste vom Bocconcino in Düsseldorf gewesen. Wir waren am Samstag nach sechs Monaten mal wieder Gast dort. Es war die reinste Katastrophe, in allen Bereichen. Das Essen war so schlecht, dass wir annehmen, das Köche nicht mehr da sind. Das gleiche gilt auch für den Service. Ein Besuch lohnt sich ganz bestimmt nicht ! Schade.

I ate there a week ago and ordered a margarita pizza and it was so shit. It didn't taste good at all, you think you ate cardboard and not pizza... They put so much cheese on it, 5kg or so. That pizza was just sickening and then 12€ for such rubbish...

Disappointing visit - not recommended! Our first visit to this restaurant was not particularly convincing. We waited over an hour for our food, while other guests who ordered after us were served faster. Unfortunately, the waiters weren't very attentive, so we had to make ourselves known several times. When the food finally came, one order was incorrect and had to be sent back. The portions were small, the price was high, and the taste was mediocre. The ambience seemed nice at first glance, but when the live musician started singing, it was so loud that it was almost impossible to hold a conversation - almost uncomfortable. Overall, we expected much more and would not come back again.

We had dinner at Booconino today. Unfortunately, we were disappointed at the entrance - the bouncer was extremely unfriendly and initially didn't want to let us in. Even when leaving the restaurant, his behavior was anything but polite and here too he provocatively blocked the way, which was only stubbornly changed when asked politely. In the restaurant itself, the service was overall okay, although rather reserved and not particularly communicative. The food was definitely delicious, and we were also impressed by the ambience - stylish and inviting. If the reception had been more pleasant, the overall impression would have been much better.

I was there a few days ago and I really have to say that this restaurant is highly recommended. The food was excellent and the service was extremely friendly. I hope that Yakary also receives good service and can spread his truffle butter well. P.S.: Luckily it can light up!

Tolles Ambiente, leckes Essen ABER wir hatten uns einen Wein ausgesucht, da hieß es dieser sei nicht verfügbar, dann haben wir einen Chadonnay auf Empfehlung bestellt. Das dieser Wein 100€ kostet war im Nachhinein eine Frechheit, Wir haben 2 Stunden auf unsere Hauptspeise gewartet, das war schon zu lange.

Leider war unser Silvesterabend im Bocconcino mit vier Personen eine absolute Katastrophe. Wir hatten uns auf eine besondere Feier gefreut, doch die Realität sah anders aus. Es wurde uns im Vorfeld erzählt, dass die Party letztes Jahr bis 6:00 Uhr morgens ging, doch als wir um 18:00 Uhr ankamen, war der Laden noch komplett leer. Das Essen, das laut Planung um 18:30 Uhr starten sollte, begann erst um 19:30 Uhr. Noch schlimmer war, dass die einzelnen Gänge extrem verzögert serviert wurden – oft mit einem Abstand von einer halben bis zu einer ganzen Stunde zwischen den Gängen. Dies zog den Abend unnötig in die Länge und sorgte für Frustration am Tisch. Hinzu kam, dass die Gerichte kalt bei uns ankamen – für ein Menü zu diesem Preis absolut inakzeptabel. Besonders enttäuschend war auch der Eindruck, dass Gäste mit einem „anderen Erscheinungsbild“ bevorzugt behandelt wurden, was bei uns einen bitteren Beigeschmack hinterließ. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt war ein Gericht, auf das wir uns besonders gefreut hatten: Pasta Karamelle, gefüllt mit Trüffel, in Parmesan-Sauce und frischem Trüffel. Das klang vielversprechend und edel, doch dann kamen lediglich drei kleine Nudeln auf dem Teller an. Für ein Silvestermenü zu diesem Preis war das nicht nur ungenügend, sondern auch schlichtweg enttäuschend. Auf der Einladungskarte wurde zudem ein „großes Feuerwerk“ angekündigt, das sich jedoch lediglich als das reguläre Feuerwerk am Düsseldorfer Hafen entpuppte – eine klare Irreführung. Auch bei der Musik gab es große Diskrepanzen zwischen Ankündigung und Realität. Statt der angekündigten abwechslungsreichen Musik war davon kaum etwas zu hören. Von „keinem Schlager“ war die Rede, doch insgesamt blieb der Abend musikalisch sehr eintönig. Für den stolzen Preis von 189 € pro Person hätten wir eine weitaus bessere Organisation, hochwertiges Essen und ein durchdachtes Konzept erwartet. So bleibt nur ein enttäuschender Eindruck und die Gewissheit, dass wir dieses Restaurant sicher nicht erneut für einen besonderen Anlass besuchen werden. Sehr schade!

The Boccocino can be found in the Mediahafen with a great view. The ambience is stylish. At first we wanted to hold our Christmas party in the winter garden, but discovered that smoking was allowed there. The antipasti and bread were very tasty, but unfortunately the main courses were not. We sent one back, the pasta for others wasn't of high quality, and the tuna steak was, quite rightly, only lightly fried, but not particularly tasty. The included potatoes were partly mushy and the vegetables tasted below average. We decided to skip dessert instead. The request to turn down the very loud background music was flatly refused on the grounds that it was Friday... There were a lot of Christmas parties and if you have to shout at the person sitting next to you so that he/she can still understand you, it's not a comfortable place to be together. We then got up relatively early and left. It's a shame, the first impression was really good, but then it started to crumble. To be fair, the restaurant took the returned dish off the bill.

The cellar and the location were good, just entertaining with the background music wasn't that nice. Quite cool at the window, a door nearby was opened occasionally.

Everything here is extremely overpriced and there is a listless, arrogant, condescending, unfriendly waiter who has unfortunately been working here for ages. My not particularly tasty pizza for €22.90, the mega-tiny, tasteless portion of pasta with a few truffles in a Parmesan nest for €27.90, tiny tiramisu for €12.90, a 0.75L bottle of water for €9.90, a 0 .2 cokes for €4.60. Nice interior, but if you spend over 100€ as a couple and still go out hungry, and you also had such poor service that you had to call in because he completely ignored us, a visit here no longer makes friends.

I can highly recommend this restaurant. If you are looking for a place where excellent food and a feel-good atmosphere go hand in hand, you will definitely find it here. I will definitely come back!

The first impression was okay, extra requests were taken into account but not welcomed. When the guest noticed a mistake during the main course (allergy to a food on the plate), the waiter just smiled and left the food. No idea or solution to the problem? No, that's just the way it is. Unfortunately, we did not have good experiences with the service on site. Unlike during the week, it seems that smoking cigars after eating is not permitted on weekends. Unfortunately, the on-site staff were very inflexible, even though there were numerous free tables that could have been used. I don't understand why smoking is handled differently on a less busy Saturday (a maximum of a quarter of the tables were occupied) than on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I also don't understand why the staff didn't try to find a satisfactory solution for everyone involved. The food itself was very good, but due to the circumstances mentioned we will switch to the Rocca or the Meerbar in the future - better service and an even better view.

I was out with my girlfriend and then had dinner at Bocconcino. We were welcomed very friendly by the staff. We were immediately assigned a table that offered us a beautiful view of the terrace. We ordered two cocktails that tasted excellent. It was an Ipanema and the Mai Tai. For dinner we ordered the veal chop and the Black Angus beef fillet. There were potatoes as a side dish. Both dishes were excellently prepared and were thoroughly consumed. We were completely satisfied with the ambience and service plus the quality of the food and drinks prepared. I can really recommend Bocconcino to everyone. We'll definitely be back. Kudos to the team, thank you.

Great atmosphere, but there is a lot of room for improvement in the service and the food. Our waiter was absolutely not in the mood and didn't seem to want to make any sales - maybe he was just having a bad day. Unfortunately the food wasn't good - even the simple things were tasteless. The schnitzel, for which a hefty price was charged, was partially burnt on the bottom. The sweet potato fries were sold out and instead they served small halved potatoes, some of which were very hard, just like the vegetables on the plate. The restaurant was very empty, so the chef actually had enough time to serve the food properly.

Bad and expensive! Unfortunately, it's rare to eat something so bad for such steep prices. It's definitely not just because of the location! If, with a very moderate number of visitors, even 3 cokes come more than 20 minutes and only after repeated requests, then you cannot speak of an exclusive restaurant. As I said, very average food apart from the prices, which is in line with many of the recessions here.

Service was super bad, we waited 20 minutes for a Coke. For 5 people we paid €500 for the starter. Go somewhere else.
