Very stylish, hip restaurant with a focus on fish. Warm and attractive interior design in a modern, extravagant style, friendly, competent staff who take care of the guest. The kitchen offers exceptional compositions of well-known and newly created dishes. The spacious rooms also offer enough space for large groups and companies. I felt very comfortable with tasty, small dishes and delicious cocktails. This restaurant fits perfectly into the surroundings of Düsseldorf's media harbor. Clear recommendation. Tip: Come during the week, then the atmosphere is relaxed.

Great food that isn't cheap. We were here with 14 people and had different dishes. Everything was very tasty and the portions were okay. The employees were friendly, but didn't seem motivated. Unfortunately an absolute disappointment. We called in advance and made arrangements with a lady in the store. She specifically told us that we could come with four people. After a long journey, we were turned away at the door by the boss himself. It's an outrage to be left out in the cold after such a journey, even though we had clarified everything beforehand. This way of dealing with customers is disrespectful and shows a complete lack of understanding of service. If you're planning a visit here, you should think twice - we definitely can't recommend this store.

We had reserved a table for 2 people for a birthday, but when we arrived the security or waiter informed us that our table had already been given to other guests - without any apology and in a very disrespectful manner. No understanding and no professional handling, especially on a special day like a birthday. Very disappointing and definitely not recommended for special occasions.

Food is average and the sides were cold. We didn't even receive any complementary bread at the beginning. Our waiter Ben, was not the nicest, did not even proposes us an explanation of the menu(which for such a highly regarded establishment would be a must) and also rudely asked for tip and forced it upon us. The restaurant persee inside is nice but would definitely not recommend.

They kept trying to take my plate away, even though I was obviously still eating (knife and fork not put together). Unfortunately, we noticed too late that the bill was incorrect. I recommend choose the fish dishes in this restaurant, what was really good. We tried also the steak but both portions were too raw. And unfortunately it wasn’t minus from the invoice. A lot of people and loudly atmosphere, so difficult to talk with each other. Maybe in day time would be better. I recommend this place for friends dinners but not for business.

We celebrated a birthday dinner there and normally the service is always top, but unfortunately not this time. The waiting time for the starters was disproportionately long and then only 2 out of 3 starters came. When the two people were finished, only the third starter arrived. Also, the "half lobster" as a complement to the Chateaubriand is an absolute joke. 2 tiny little pieces of lobster, the size of a little finger, which unfortunately were absolutely overcooked and tough. Paying €36 for this is more than unpleasant. When I complained to the waiter, he just said that that was the normal portion. I then asked for a sparkler for dessert, which should come with the dessert, just because of the birthday. The dessert did come, but unfortunately without any indication of “birthday dinner”. It was probably forgotten. A bit sobering as we have been eating there for many years. For 400€ for 3 people you would expect more attentive service.

The food is pretty good. Nothing fancy, but good quality, well prepared. You can probably expect that for around 40 euros for a dish. The service is very inattentive or completely ignores you, regardless of whether it is eye contact, a hand gesture or a shout. We would have liked to have desserts and a few more cocktails, but we just didn't get them. 🤷‍♀️ The ambience is okay. The decor is appealing because it is very large, but the tables are close together, it is incredibly loud and it is difficult to have a conversation. I wouldn't really recommend it overall.

We recently visited the restaurant and were looking forward to a nice lunch. The staff was friendly, but there were some disagreements that marred our visit. We ordered, among other things, truffle pasta and three entrecôtes. Unfortunately, all three entrecôtes were not fried medium rare as requested and were still raw inside, which is why they had to be returned. As a result, one of the entrecôtes was only re-fried, while the other two were completely replaced. Unfortunately, these two also failed on the second attempt and had the same problems as before. The interior also didn't quite meet our expectations. Online it seemed much more high-quality and modern, while on site it seemed a bit outdated. The overall atmosphere was not what we had hoped for and additionally the restaurant was quite cold which further detracted from the experience. On a positive note, I would like to mention that the staff tried very hard to improve the situation and we were not charged for one of the entrecôtes. The service was attentive, but unfortunately the kitchen was not convincing that day. We hope this was an exception as the restaurant has potential and would like to give it another chance.

Eating in kruz format was ok. Service was bad, no tip was given for the first time. I had to open the wine bottle myself. Now to top it all off, I paid 199.90 and it was debited twice from my account, I've been on the phone with the operations manager every day for the past month and he's putting me off. To date I have not received my money back. Be careful if the EC device doesn't work.

The bouncer was extremely disrespectful and judged my appearance. He insulted me by showing the "no dogs allowed" sticker on the door. I refrained from posting an ad because I know the shop owner personally. That's really not possible and I will never eat there again! It was the short, fat bouncer with short black hair, who has a black 3-day beard and always wears the same thing.

The two of us were there at around 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening. We just tried to have a drink. After we ordered, the waiter came up to us after 25 minutes and asked again about our order. After another 20 minutes another waiter came again and asked if we had already ordered. We mentioned that we had already been waiting 40 minutes and the waiter said he would take care of it immediately and we would get our drinks. 10 minutes later still nothing. At some point after 45/50 minutes we just got up and left the area. In addition, the music was simply turned off at 11 p.m., which is quite disappointing on a Saturday evening. Considering that these cocktails cost around 15/20€, I think the whole thing is pretty cheeky. So unfortunately never again.

Unfortunately, my otherwise very pleasant evening was marred by an extremely unpleasant encounter with the waitress Fatma (she was wearing glasses). First of all, I would like to emphasize that the bouncers were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere in the place was really great. I was there with my girlfriend and we were actually looking forward to a relaxing evening. Unfortunately, Fatma seemed to be in a very bad mood that evening. She was extremely unfriendly, appeared irritable and clearly took her bad mood out on the guests. Her behavior seemed aggressive and it seemed as if she was very dissatisfied with herself, which she unfortunately conveyed to the outside world. Not only was it unpleasant for us, the table next door also noticed and also criticized the behavior. It's a real shame that such unprofessional behavior ruined an otherwise great evening. We couldn't even enjoy the food anymore because we lost our appetite. For this reason I can unfortunately only give one star, with the exception of the ambience, which was really nice.

We were initially welcomed and given a reserved seat. The waiter then came, took the order and immediately served us the drinks. After what felt like 10-12 minutes, a large group of guests arrived. The waiter also tried to serve her. Despite several eye contacts, we had to wait exactly 43 minutes for our food. When the food arrived, we immediately noticed that the meat wasn't prepared as we would have liked and the vegetables were inedibly cold. I ate some of the meat and left the vegetables there. By the way, the fries we ordered didn't come at all. She only came after dinner. When we asked the waiter about it, he said I could have told him and he could have served the food warm. I then said that I didn't want to wait another 43 minutes. As an apology he offered me an espresso. I said it was too strong for me, so I would prefer espresso macchiato. How did the espresso come about? Of course without a dash of milk. The evening was catastrophic. Never again sea bar. The young, somewhat dark-skinned waiter was focused on tips and tended to tend to the tables where he thought he would get more tips. The evening was catastrophic. Too bad. The experience cost us €85.

Yesterday on September 9th, 2024, we were in the Meerbar... 7:00 p.m. Table 9 wanted to spend a nice evening with good food and service. We had a nice evening, I'll leave the good meal in the room for now. Service tries to make an effort but nothing more. Professionalism looks different! The service should work in this location and with this reputation. Food: Starters were acceptable, main courses you can do better! You can't really go wrong with drinks! Would have liked to have had another dessert... When we wanted to place our dessert order, we were told "We only have two types of desserts at the moment", and it should be pointed out in advance when the menu is handed over what is no longer in the house. Long story short…….price performance was absolutely not consistent that evening. Prices like in a star restaurant, food and service NaJa 🫤 For half the euros on our bill we would have eaten better somewhere else.

Service is absolutely bad and unfriendly (I can recommend the owner to look for new staff) I particularly noticed one employee Fatma negatively. Unfortunately, the first time we visited this restaurant with my girlfriend, we had a disappointing experience. We had to wait almost 40 minutes for our drinks. When we ordered our starters we accidentally got something else. This has been corrected. I had to complain about the dirty plates with leftover food from the previous guest. Finally we received new plates, but they were still stained with leftover salmon. After repeated requests, we finally got clean plates, but still no drinks. When our main course finally arrived, we were missing cutlery and drinks. The waitress apologized and offered us free water to make up for the negative experience. Our ordered drinks arrived 50 minutes later. Overall, the elegant ambience and high-quality cuisine were not enough for me to justify a repeat visit or to recommend the restaurant.

Overall, great quality food in an upscale setting. I attended a business dinner for a group of 7. Both the food and the appetizers were good. I had the steak, which was well seasoned, and the demi sauce and au gratin potatoes were very nice - although I had a bit of envy when smelling the truffle fries. This was a busy restaurant, and the staff did a great job keeping pace. It is in a great location on the river in Medienhafen. Tje only negative, is it's a little on the expensive side for what you get.

Hallo erstmal .... inzwischen habe ich einige Bewertungen gelesen. Ich dachte, schau mal, evtl. bist Du ja mit Deiner Meinung nicht ganz alleine. ABER .... es sind doch überraschend VIELE, die in etwa das Gleiche erlebt haben wie WIR am 29.August 24. Unfreundlich - lieblos - als ob der Gast froh sein kann hier zu sein. Die Bedienung lustlos und kein Blick für den Gast. Das Essen war für alle VIER zufriedenstellend aber absolut kein HIGHLIGHT. Wenn man dann für 0,5L Mineralwasser 7,50€ verlangt .... im Ausland bekommen wir Wasser oft gratis zu den anderen Getränken...alles überteuert ABZOCKE wäre das richtige Wort für das Vorgehen dieser MEERBAR. Dieses Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has a serious problem with people reading foreign languages. How can it be that I RESERVE a table here, but they tell me that I had to make the reservation online because there are now no tables available (why don't they tell me that on the phone). That wasn't even a bad thing, when I wanted to leave, because I was quickly made to feel like I wasn't wanted, a larger group of 4-5 people arrived (all of them read German) and all of a sudden there was space. That's a disgrace. If you only want white people in your restaurant, communicate openly and honestly.

We were there yesterday and I was really disappointed. We waited almost 20 to 30 minutes before we could even order. The service was completely overwhelmed. You leave a lot of money behind and get such poor service. The food didn't taste particularly good either. The wine spritzer only tasted like water. When I told the waiter this, he didn't want to cancel the drink and bring me something else. He just offered me the same drink again. When I agreed, they just added some wine. I've never experienced anything like this before. Only the fig martini was delicious and the location was nice.

Never again. A disappointment from the first minute. We wanted to celebrate our birthday and had reserved a table. When we got there (on time - even a few minutes early) our table had been taken elsewhere. Why do we reserve? Nobody cared what happened to us. The eight of us were just sat down somewhere and ignored for 40 minutes. not served, no one felt responsible. After asking several times, we were finally seated. We've eaten here several times and it's always been very good. Both the food and the service. However, the service this time really left something to be desired. The waitress who served us (Maria A.) was extremely unfriendly and took an extremely long time to place orders and reacted in an annoyed manner. We had ordered truffle pasta and when the food arrived we also ordered an extra portion of parmesan. The Parmesan didn't arrive until shortly before we finished eating (we paused while eating so that the Parmesan would be worth it for the rest of the pasta). So we wouldn't have needed it for the rest of the portion. Of course it was still billed. At the end we wanted to split the bill and she specifically asked us who wanted to pay for what. When the bills finally came after 20 minutes, they were divided incorrectly and when we pointed this out, people looked annoyed again. As I said, we have always been very satisfied before, but today we were a bit annoyed. We will definitely come back and hope to feel more comfortable next time.

We had to wait 20min to make the order although there were no clients(bcs we arrived earlier 14 00,the launch hour hadnt started yet).The waitress wasn't nice and forgot us as I mentioned before also she complained about one of my guests outfits and said here are cameras you can't walk in the restaurant showing this much(it was a croptop with opened neck).The food was not awful but it wasn't fresh the spaghetti was not it.I would not recommend,there are a lot of other places to go that are way better.Client is king,clients should be respected!

Perfectly located at the media harbor. Two bouncers reminiscent of “Miami Vice meets Modern Talking” are intended to generate exclusivity. Even though I was invited, I found the price level to be beyond good and bad: some cocktails cost more than €20.00. The interior is quite opulent. Generally a place where you can spend your money well. The sunset is very worth seeing.

Beautiful view of the harbor, appropriate music, but definitely don't order "Entrecôte Rib | Marbled". I've never been served such shit before. The vegetables around it were good... The restaurant is simply top class and a must-visit in Düsseldorf. Can be found at the Media Harbor in one of the Gehry buildings. With a great ambience and a beautiful atmosphere you can enjoy the excellent cuisine here. I would like to express my dissatisfaction with a recent visit to your restaurant. Unfortunately, I discovered that appearance counts more than reality. Even though I had made a reservation by phone, I was marked as a "foreigner" and not allowed in. At the same time, other guests who looked German were admitted without any problems, even though we were told that everything was full and we should have made reservations online. It was obvious that other people who didn't fit into your clientele were also being turned away with cheap excuses. This xenophobic behavior in your restaurant is a complete outrage and completely unacceptable. Word of mouth spreads quickly and I will certainly share my experiences.

We were there for the first time yesterday. I was really looking forward to the evening, but I was quickly disappointed. The service was very unprofessional. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady. Very rude. We had chosen a free table. However, we weren't allowed to sit down there, with the reasoning that "it's just like sitting at the two tables" okay, no problem. Was absolutely fine. However, 10 minutes later another guest came and also asked for the table that we had also chosen. Suddenly it was no problem for the guest to sit down there. After I asked, I got a rude answer, the tables weren't set so we weren't allowed to sit down. I then said that the table the guest was sitting at wasn't set either and was given the excuse that I can only do that say what we have been taught. We also had to ask several times for things that had been forgotten (salt, pepper, drinks, cutlery) The food was great, but the service was a disaster and very, very unfriendly. A pity
