Good food with a focus on Spanish. Unfortunately a bit expensive, but the location of the restaurant is great.

Great menu - varied, tasty, good portions..., large selection of tappas.

First we stood at the front for a long time until the young lady who was responsible for assigning tables came. Then we had to wait again until we got a menu. After what felt like an eternity someone came to order. We actually had enough time to grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case given the pace of the whole procedure. We had something to drink and had to get to the ship. Next door was the same. They had ordered and would then have to leave as the ship was coming. Some of the staff weren't friendly and didn't seem friendly to each other either. Never been served so poorly.

Conditions, ambience and food were first class.

Really nice atmosphere under palm trees and by the water. You will be warmly welcomed and served quickly, depending on the number of visitors. It's a big credit to the staff that they know the menu inside out and are very knowledgeable about the dishes. The food comes quickly, is very tasty and in generous portions.

We were completely exhausted after a long walk through Potsdam and needed to rest. The city is beautiful, great buildings, clean streets. With a view of the Havel and the many steamers (city tours) we had a good time. Relax your feet and eat a large ice cream sundae with strawberries and cream on top 🍨. I will definitely go there again, it's worth it 🏰

Although we didn't reserve, we got a table for 5 people (it was very busy). Very nice, funny waiter, food was very good as always. We'd love to come back.

Our visit 8/10/24 Very friendly service, the ambience inside is a little nicer than outside. The food was on the table in a jiffy, so we had the impression that it was processed as quickly as possible. However, price and quality do not match. Sometimes too oily/greasy and garlic-heavy, the salmon with spinach was very boring. We found 2 drinks, 4 tapas 55,- plus tip too expensive.

Nice restaurant where you are also welcome if you just want to have a drink, as we didn't have much time left before our excursion ship left. The service was very friendly and quick. The cocktails were very good. The food from our table neighbors looked very appetizing. Next time we'll take more time.🙂

Well, it was placed outside on the patio. Tables and chairs not clean. Only cleaned of bird droppings after request. Food was tasty and sufficient. Drinks completely overpriced.😒

Sometimes like this and sometimes like that 🤷‍♂️ We've eaten here several times with friends and overall we felt comfortable! But the quality and taste of the food varies! From super tasty to well, everything was there. More continuity would be desirable! Because the chefs have proven that they can do it! We would still like to come back

It is an attempt at absolutely mediocre Spanish food and, on top of that, very expensive. I don't recommend it at all!!

We ate there on June 29, 24. I had reserved the table about 4 weeks in advance and it worked really well. We sat wonderfully in the shade on the spacious terrace in the heat. We were very impressed by the great service, the waitress was super attentive and friendly and gave us good advice, but also the delicious food. thanks for that If we are in Potsdam again we will come back. Very clear recommendation

I am very impressed by the ambience. The service is very attentive, not intrusive or fake polite... we were looked after very warmly. The drinks menu is very extensive. The tapas menu caters for all tastes and is also very diverse. The portions are large enough to fill you up even if you're a little hungry. Especially good if you have children with you. The main courses offer enough choice. We really enjoyed both the tapas and the main courses. I would have tried more if my stomach hadn't insisted on dessert. Here too you are spoiled for choice. We were pleasantly surprised by everything. The prices are reasonable. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants from today!

Mittagessen im El Puerto, An der langen Brücke in Potsdam. Rigatoni mit Rinderfiletstreifen, Dijonsenfsoße und Zuckerschoten: Der Wahnsinn! Pasta von perfekter Konsistenz, Filet saftig mit Röstaromen, Zuckerschoten knackig. Die Soße eine Offenbarung. Perfektes Mundgefühl mit Senfkörnern und rotem Pfeffer, süßsauer und leicht spicy. Akzeptabler Preis. Wenn das Standardessen ist: Chapeau!!! Der Service ist aufmerksam und unaufdringlich. Gebt uns mehr davon...

The starters were good. Main courses were more bad than good. We had pre-ordered for 30 people and after 1.5 hours we just managed to get on the ship in front of the door...The advantage was that the bus parking lot was nearby...

The food and ambience remain good, but the restaurant's latest policy includes using first name names to all guests and pushy, less-than-discreet wait staff.

Today, May 27th, 2023, we stopped by spontaneously for lunch with a friend. Get a shady spot on the terrace. The very nice and friendly service arrived quickly. My meal (salad with goat cheese for €17.90) was extremely tasty. Everything was served fresh, there were so many things on my plate - it tasted very good. There was also bread and aioli from the house. Yes, the Very Tasty Salad isn't exactly cheap, but after all, you don't go to the restaurant every day. Coffee tastes good and you get a view of the water for free.

El Puerto! The gateway to a particularly culinary journey. There were three of us at El Puerto, we ordered tapas, brandy, goat cheese, Spanish beer, and fish. (I'll leave out the asparagus, even though the ham was delicious). The food was super fresh and each dish was a flavor bomb in itself. The tapas use a lot of garlic, which really enhances the whole thing. I think next time we will cover the whole table with tapas. The brandy is an absolute recommendation! You have to try it, I was given a special bottle to photograph. The beer tastes mild, but is very refreshing and goes well with the food. We were all really excited and the staff was very accommodating and fun for everyone. We will be back! And if you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for?

Very tasty food in 2022 and now in 2024 we were there when visiting Potsdam. We enjoyed it every time and it was very important for us to have a disabled-friendly toilet. Nicely located again and a good start or end point. Unfortunately we had to skip the ice cream sundaes, but of course we heard "ahs" and "ohs" for the great creations.

I was there for lunch with my girlfriend on April 30, 2024. We both ate pasta. Both dishes tasted very bland. We were looking forward to the food because of the good reviews, but unfortunately we were disappointed. However, the ambience inside and outside is very nice.

Very bad, salads were unwashed and without sauce, no love, just nice ambience.

Die Nudeln mit Hähnchenbrustfilet waren mittelmäßig, aber das Fleisch schien nicht mehr frisch zu sein und war viel zu weich. Insgesamt war mein Besuch eine große Enttäuschung."

The food was very tasty and plentiful. The service was friendly and accommodating. The prices are relatively high but reasonable. If you sit outside you can watch the ships that leave there. But it's also very nice inside.

A pleasant place, close to the water and close to Potsdam main station and the city center. Directly opposite the city palace and the old market and therefore the Barberini Museum. A quiet atmosphere. Gastronomy of good quality.

Thank you for ruining our team day so much! The glory days of El Puerto in Potsdam died with Corona. I recommend that all future guests give the location a wide berth. Three of many examples would be welcome. - We (15 pax) were allocated three unconnected tables, even though the restaurant was half empty. When we asked again whether we could push tables together and put them back together before leaving, the “receptionist” gave us a very rude answer. Even a young colleague who rushed to help only gave a single answer: “They should go somewhere else”. - Regular Hendriks Gin was ordered and we received a pink gin in a Malfy glass. Since it was new to us that Hendriks was pink, we asked the waiter if it was the new variant. When we asked, we were treated condescendingly and the question was not answered correctly. Attached is the gin menu as proof. - it started to rain and we weren't allowed to sit anywhere else (inside or outside under cover). Nothing can be said against the location. Right on the water, well-kept furnishings, beautiful palm trees, unfortunately a bit noisy due to the street. Prices a little higher than typical in Potsdam. As a Potsdamer, I will avoid this location in the future and communicate this to friends and acquaintances. I also prefer to host my business meals elsewhere. Recommendation: go to Tomasa in the Dutch.

We had dinner with 4 people. The food is recommended and the friendly staff gave us great explanations about the food. And we were clearly impressed by the quality of the food. If you plan to visit Potsdam again, you can definitely visit El Puerto.

We were here for the first time. Unfortunately, the good food was diminished by a 1.5 hour wait because several order receipts were lost. Mistakes can happen, an apology and perhaps a little something on the house would have been nice.

Man sitzt hier wirklich schön. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und auch das Essen kommt zügig und schmeckt wirklich ausgezeichnet. Das Ganze ist nicht ganz günstig, aber es gibt an diesem Restaurant auch nichts zu meckern, so dass man das Geld gerne zahlt.

Unfortunately we experienced a very uncoordinated and overwhelmed service today. The food came very quickly after ordering, unfortunately the tapas weren't really good. The lamb kebabs were well done and the sauce was sweet. The chorizo ​​was completely overcooked and the red wine stock couldn't be tasted. The sweet potato wedges were already mashed at the bottom and neither garlic nor chili could be tasted. The prawns come with their skins hot, how should you eat them? Other main courses looked very good. The restaurant is definitely not recommended for eating tapas.

We were already there in October 2023. My friend and I stayed at the Mercure Hotel next door and ate at this restaurant both evenings. The service is really great. The staff are very friendly. For example, they gave dessert recommendations because we didn't know what to choose. We were always asked if we would like anything else. We sat outside at first, but since it looked like it was raining, the waiters said we could also move inside. That's why they didn't allow any more guests so that all the guests outside also got a place inside, which I thought was really great. Both the toilets and the restaurant were very well maintained and clean. I had pasta with salmon and white wine lobster sauce on the 1st evening and it was absolutely delicious, my boyfriend also liked it, which is why he also chose the salmon on the 2nd evening. I ate pasta and chicken on the second evening. The food overall was really very tasty, I couldn't complain about anything. The restaurant can really only be recommended. We would love to come back
