Disappointing! After a wonderful day in East Frisia, we stopped there on the way back to Emsland. The price-performance ratio is a disgrace!!! I discovered a Zagreb salad on the menu for €17.90. For the price, I had what I expected as a main course. I also ordered feta and tuna. This was charged an extra €3 each. So a salad for €23.90. What was then served was a bottomless impudence, an audacity to the power of ten. I am at a loss for words. I got a small, narrow plate with a handful of rocket and a few leaves of baby spinach in the middle, completely flat with some vinegar, oil and spices. There was half a slice of tomato on the edge of the plate at the top and half a slice of tomato at the bottom. Also 4 half slices of green cucumber. Sprinkle about a tablespoon of feta and tuna on top. THAT'S IT!!! No bread, peppers, iceberg, olives, or anything else - no....Nothing!! Oh, I forgot to mention 3 old, shriveled grapes. We asked the waitress that that couldn't be everything for the price. Not even a slice of bread? I got the answer: They had to order bread separately! I then mentioned the "quantity" again and the price-performance ratio, and they said they would give me a €3 discount if ☆everything☆ wasn't enough for me!!! I'm shocked! Almost €24 for nothing! There's a salad at McDonald's 3-star kitchen. Never again!!!! We like to eat out often, something like that is a shame... For comparison: my husband's grill plate with 4 pieces of meat, fries, rice and vegetables and a small salad plate came to €21.90

The meat came from the deep fryer and not the grill. Looked like industrial goods to me. That doesn't work at all. Salad bar was good. The service was also good. The menu appears to have been revised, but we don't think it's an advantage. Have eaten there several times. But we are no longer satisfied with the quality, our opinion.

Update may 2025. It is very unfortunate that I still (after so long time) receive complaints about my review and that maybe will be delete. I was there. I have the picture of the receipt. I understand that the owner is very unhappy about my review. I totally get it but it doesn't change anything. I just hope that they will use this review as something constructive, and a possibility to make things better. Yes, other people might have better experiences, I'm not the only customer, but I won't change my opinion cause that was what I felt about my visit there. Maybe there is a new owner - I wouldn't know. This is still years ago and other people who read my review have to keep that in mind. Zero stars if possible. A very old servant who barely couldn’t stand on his feed without swaying. He ‘hit’ my hair/back of my head when he walked behind me, and not even apologizing. I don’t think he intercepted it! The gullasch tasted ok, but it was nothing like true Hungarian gullasch. Tomato soup my boyfriend had was awful. It was dry ready-made rye-wannabe bread. They forgot to serve salat for the steak, so we had to ask for it. First and only time to eat there.

Family friendly, tasty and quick. With a children's play area and a large selection of dishes. Salad from the buffet always changing offers.

Where else can you find a lavish, delicious grilled plate for €23? Here and the lady in the restaurant who served us was very friendly and attentive. You should come here if you like the typical Croatian flair and don't need ultra-modern restaurants. Here you can eat for good money like at grandma's house.

So the food is okay so far, I wanted to have Djuwet rice, ajvar and onions instead of beans and fried potatoes, but I had to pay over €6 extra for that, that's not possible, in the end I got fried onions with the ajvar, I'm used to something different from a Yugoslavian restaurant! Guests are also treated differently! That was the last time

A disaster. The wrong food was served at the neighboring tables. Others waited almost two hours for their food. Our food was simply drenched in oil, the gyro was just pan-fried with oil, not fresh off the rotisserie. The result was then served at home... We've been there for years, but not anymore.

A dump, nothing more. The innkeeper moody and the premises run down. The menu is dingy and the prices are incredibly expensive. We didn't feel well when we went in, so we went out without eating.
