Visited here for the first time today! A bit hidden and inconspicuous. The ambiance is simple but functional, relatively modern, perhaps a bit lacking in style inside. Large beer garden (can be roofed if needed), which was very busy today. Here, too, everything was simple but functional, including the seating! We received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose a table inside! The menu is relatively large, and that doesn't usually bode well for good-quality food! Starter: 1. Onion soup with cheese! It was very good, and in my opinion, it wasn't just a packet soup! It was simply too good in terms of taste and preparation, as they used a lot of cheese, and not just for the topping. There were also pieces of bread incorporated into the soup. Conclusion: Very good and highly recommended. 2. Garlic bread with feta cheese! Nothing elaborate, but even the simplest appetizers can be very good, like this one! Conclusion: Very good and very tasty Main courses from the grill: 1. Minced steak stuffed with feta cheese, fries, and rice (dressed with tomato)! Very well prepared, fresh, and to perfection! It wasn't dry grilled and was juicy and tasty. Very good portion!!!! Conclusion: Excellent and very tasty! 2. Mixed plate that had a lot to offer! 1 x large schnitzel 1 x grilled bacon 2 x large cevapcici 1 x rump steak (I think at least 120g) 1 x turkey steak (also about 120g) French fries Rice Some salad garnish I thought this couldn't be true! This portion is amazing when the plate is in front of you! Everything was perfectly prepared to perfection and tasted fantastic! Conclusion: Simply sensational and an absolute highlight in terms of taste and portion size! Dessert: Vanilla ice cream with hot cherries and whipped cream! You can't go wrong here, and it was good and delicious! Overall conclusion: A vastly underrated Croatian restaurant that, while simple in its ambiance, delivers high-quality cuisine! The price-performance ratio is sensational and actually doesn't correspond to the price, and it's a mystery to us how they manage to do it economically! Apparently, it works, though, so respect for that!!! We'll be happy to come back regularly! The highlight of our visit today was a special guest at the IVA, where we had to look three times because it was so wonderful to see and we couldn't believe it. LUDWIG SEBUS!!! For us Cologne residents, he's a household name and a living legend! To see this prominent Cologne native still so positive and fit at the age of 99 is very nice to see as a Cologne resident! It touched us deeply!

If you don't mind a simple atmosphere and the food is still good, you can definitely sit there. Unfortunately the friendly main waiter has disappeared. The owner is professional and reliable, but unfortunately also moody and sometimes rude in his dealings with some guests. So much for the question of whether you can recommend the restaurant.

We have eaten at Cigo's several times, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, the dishes are very tasty and generous in size, we think the daily menu is very great, with soup of the day, salad, main course and dessert, simply great and tasty, great value for money! Furnishings are very uncomfortable, nothing against the rustic atmosphere but you don't want to sit here for long. The food is ok, you can eat sometimes, but you don't have to. If you like something a little more exquisite, you've come to the wrong place. The boss and the waitress themselves could be friendlier.

Very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Inside it is very cozy and rustic and outside it is also very nice; nice exposure and everything sweetly planted. The food was very tasty! It's been a long time since I've had such a good schnitzel. Juicy on the inside and the breading was perfectly crispy. The Đuveč rice was very tasty and the remaining meat was also perfectly seared and in general it was definitely high quality meat. The palačinke with vanilla ice cream were also beautifully prepared and very tasty! The owner, who also served, was very personable and nice. Definitely worth a visit, we will definitely eat here several times again. :)
