Restaurant KADENA in Berlin

A very nice and clean Croatian restaurant where the food is excellent. I don't think there's anything here that doesn't taste good. The staff is always very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable. We always enjoy coming back here.

Actually, you shouldn't give 5 stars at all, otherwise it would get even more crowded here - but what should you do if everything just fits? The food is always a poem - fresh, delicious, typically Croatian and prepared with a lot of love. The service is friendly, attentive and warm. You simply feel comfortable here. Absolute recommendation for everyone who loves good food and an authentic atmosphere. Just don't go there too often... otherwise I won't be able to get a table! 😉

A "classic" Croatian. Lots of meat on my plate and those in sight. Bourgeois atmosphere without chic. My veal liver with fries was tender, free of shreds and grilled to perfection. Serve with a side salad in a dressing with a touch of vinegar. Extremely satisfied. My companion's vegetables, gratinated with cheese, could have used a little more cheese. The tomato soup beforehand tasted pleasantly spicy (yum!). We wanted to share the soup and were hoping for another spoonful, but without asking we received two half-filled soup bowls for the same price as one. That's what I call attentive service! After paying the bill there was even a schnapps on the house. Atmosphere on Saturday evening 8:30 p.m. quiet, no loud music, conversation possible at normal volume. Toilets clean. If there was a little more choice on the menu for vegetarian guests, it would be even better. We'll definitely be back.

We were in the restaurant for a funeral service and had reserved a separate room. The table was tastefully set and the service and all the dishes were first class. I can recommend the Kadena with a clear conscience. Many thanks to the friendly staff!

The food looked... like it had been thrown on the plate... pretty bland... and the bacon wasn't crispy either... Quite laboury, and the atmosphere was like being in a train station.

The KADENA restaurant is on Bergstr. 70, located in 12169 Berlin. The aforementioned place is fantastic for treating yourself to gastronomic delights. The ambience and atmosphere there is very pleasant. I drank good beers there and ate a filet mignon. Both were very delicious. Food ok, service ok. Unfortunately, three different prices: Internet = lowest price, takeaway menu higher price, in the store another (higher) price. It should be manageable to keep prices up to date in all areas.

Great restaurant for an uncomplicated evening with many different wishes regarding the food. There is something for everyone here. The outdoor terrace invites you to linger and we were also able to enter the restaurant as guests at a slightly later hour. Thank you!

I was surprised at how amazing this restaurant is. The service was extremely courteous, always at the table to ask if everything was okay. The food, great to look at on the plate, decent portions and sooooo tasty. My mom (83) still raves about the Berlin liver with mashed potatoes (real! Not a bag) Lovely again!

We were there for the memorial service after a funeral. The separate room was very attractively decorated, white tablecloths, floral decorations. Breakfast was offered as a buffet for 40 people. Everything was freshly prepared and tasty. The very friendly service was quick and courteous. We can happily recommend the restaurant for special occasions. I've been visiting this restaurant for 2 years now, not regularly, but still very often. It is always good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very accommodating. I feel very well. The food is mind-blowing, the meat so juicy that it falls apart in your mouth like butter is very unique. Always my pleasure. We can definitely recommend the Kadena restaurant if you like Croatian cuisine.

This was our second time here and we wanted to eat locally with a toddler. Unfortunately, the restaurant smelled very strongly of the smoke that was coming from the winter garden into the restaurant because the patio door was open. When we mentioned the unpleasant smell, we were met with a lack of understanding from the service. The first waiter rudely ignored our problem. After all the other guests agreed with the smell of smoke, another waiter suggested we change seats. The air in the other room was a little better, but we still decided to order takeaway. As usual, the food was very tasty, but unfortunately the service disappointed us this time.

We haven't been to Kadena for a long time, super nice staff, nice terrace and the food was also very tasty. We had a mixed grill plate and a pola-pola plate, the meat was super juicy and well seasoned. The portions were super big, just like you remember from before. Prices completely reasonable. We will be back!

We celebrated a birthday in a group. Service top, attentive and very friendly-Hvala. We ate our way through the range of starters and really enjoyed everything: fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. For the main course we chose fish and meat platters - everyone was thrilled. Leftovers were packed up. Value for money from us 5*.

Wir waren Silvester dort zum Essen. Schnitzel sah gut aus. Leider konnte ich es nicht zerkauen, war alles zotterig ich bekam dann nach Reklamation ein anderes. Der Kellner war sehr gut. Es ging noch etwas schief, was dieser dann auch ausgeglichen hat.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen sehr lecker. Zu Weihnachten abgeänderte Speisekarte, trotzdem auf spezielle Wünsche eingegangen, das ist absolut super Service. Vielen Dank und eine Empfehlung!
