Here you feel truly welcome; the service is incredibly friendly. The food (a Croatian platter for two) was very generous, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Upon request, we were even given freshly prepared cevapcici to take away! We highly recommend this restaurant!

Every time I'm in Trier, I simply can't pass this restaurant by 🤗 You can enjoy delicious food and drinks on the terrace, weather permitting, while reading or simply enjoying the fantastic view. Otherwise, you can sit inside in a very well-kept, clean, and appealing setting. Superb cuisine/chefs!!! My recommendation is the pepper rump steak 💯 I've been there so many times, and I've never been disappointed. Always cooked to perfection 🔥 Only a few people can consistently do that these days. Huge praise!!!! The staff and manager are super friendly!!! If you haven't been there yet...it's your own fault 😉 See you again soon 🤘🏻

The food was delicious, and the salad bar was also well-stocked. The only downside was the price of tea: two teas for 9 euros.

A very, very good restaurant on the banks of the Moselle in Trier. The food was very good. And the servers were super fast and efficient. They were also super friendly and helpful, even in the most difficult of situations. You rarely see that.

The food was okay. Except for the rice... I've had better. When paying, there was no change... So you either pay by card or tip the rest. That's a really cheeky way to get tips!!!!!! The location is nice, especially when you sit outside near the Moselle River.

A lovely restaurant on the banks of the Mosel River. Very affordable: 4 drinks, 2 main courses, and 1 dessert for €64. 1 trout, 1 chiwapchichi rice, fries salad, and apple strudel with ice cream for dessert. Fast service, and a view of the Mosel from the upper terrace.

I was very disappointed. I ordered medallions with pepper sauce. Unfortunately, the meat was too dry. I had to order drinks three times to even get it down after chewing a lot. The pepper sauce tasted of salt, pepper, and water. My partner ordered Wiener Schnitzel, which was poorly seasoned; adding more salt didn't help. On top of that, the price was enormous. I can only recommend the restaurant at the Kornmarkt; it was simply magnificent and the price was justified. I advise you to skip the aisles and go to the Kornmarkt instead.

It's wonderful to sit here, you really feel like you're on vacation, and the service is incredibly efficient. They speak English and German. From tomato soup to pizza to grilled specialties. We didn't dare bother with dessert, as we were full.

We went there for lunch on Sunday. The pizza didn't look homemade like usual, and unfortunately, the tarte flambée was very dry, and the wieners weren't fresh. What a shame.

Yesterday I ate at the Croatia Restaurant with a friend for the first time. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good and tasted excellent. (This was my second time eating Croatian food.) The restaurant is located a little outside of town, near the Moselle River. I'd be happy to come back.

The ambiance somewhat saves the place. The restaurant's direct location on the Moselle River gives it a plus point. The food, however, was disappointing and didn't taste truly Croatian at all, as did the meat, which was also far too dry. The service, however, was among the worst ever. Such unfriendliness towards customers really makes me doubt. Not a second time, thanks. I hope this review has been of some help.

Das Essen war wunderbar, das Personal ist eine Schande, sie sprechen arrogant, ich habe me hr bezahlt, als ich bestellt habe, ich habe die Quittung nicht erhalten, wir wissen nicht, warum? .... ein wunderschöner Ort, aber es ist eine Schande, dass das Personal keinen Respekt vor Leuten hat, die kommen, um sich zu entspannen, zu essen, zu bezahlen, nichts ist umsonst, also wenigstens Respekt

Der Sitzplatz auf der Terrasse ist sehr schön, der Blick traumhaft. Das Essen eher mangelhaft. Ich habe eine Forelle bestellt, mein Mann einen Croatia-Teller. Das Essen kam verhältnismäßig schnell - kein gutes Zeichen, wie sich bald herausstellte. Die Forelle war nicht besonders groß und ich bemerkt, daß sich das Fleisch schlecht von den Geräten löste. Ich hatte aber Hunger und aß weiter. Allerdings war der Fisch derart verbruzzelt, daß es unmöglich war, die Gräten auszulösen und reklamierte das Essen. Als Antwort bekam ich zu hören, daß ich mehr als die Hälfte der Mahlzeit gegessen hätte. Keine Entschuldigung vom Chef - die kam dann eher vom Personal. Fazit: keine Forelle bestellen. Sitzen und Aussicht genießen

The Croatia Restaurant is located directly on the banks of the Moselle River. It serves typical Balkan cuisine, as well as some house specialties. The food was quite delicious; there was nothing to complain about. However, I would like to criticize the many flies that landed on the plates. Could this be due to the proximity to the river? Even though we ate inside, we couldn't get rid of the flies. That was a shame and bothered us. The staff could be more attentive.

A lovely restaurant with outdoor seating overlooking the Moselle, but plenty of room inside as well. Friendly and flexible staff. The burrata starter was delicious. Large portions at reasonable prices.

What a nice end to the day! We had a delicious meal with a beautiful view of the Moselle. The service was exceptionally fast and friendly - nothing was too much for them. Each dish was served with care and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm. Highly recommended for anyone in the area who wants tasty dishes in a beautiful setting.

This restaurant is not recommended for dog owners who love their animals!!! Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant. My personal assessment: if you don't like animals, you can't be a good person. It doesn't matter whether one or the other likes the food there. 0 stars

Once again I received great service. Fast, attentive and friendly. The prices and the performance are excellent. So far we have never been disappointed with the food. Good beer 🍺 and good coffee. The side salad 🥗 you have to make yourself, no problem. However, the toilets 🚽 can only be reached via stairs. Just try it 👍

In sunny weather you can sit on the terrace with a wonderful view over the Moselle and Pallien up to the Weishaus. Coffee with milk and latte macchiato were okay, although not a bargain at 4.80 and 5.50 euros, but worth the view. But people, don't order apple strudel, it was really terrible. Chewy, rubbery dough, the base rock hard in the middle, the "vanilla sauce" a transparent sweet something, obviously without milk. The cream only comes from the spray can. Isn't worth the money.

The service was super friendly and the cevapcici were delicious. There is a self-service salad bar to accompany the main courses. The 19.00 euro salad from the menu is not recommended. The dishes lack a bit of passion. (Raw onions as a side dish) Otherwise, customer requests are taken into account and the card actually ranges from good and cheap to expensive.

We were really looking forward to a visit based on many recommendations and reports and were so disappointed. Our drinks had not yet been brought when our food order was taken. There were leaves in the salad buffet that were no longer edible. Regarding our meal, none of the four different dishes were hot, the fries were light and not hot either. A dish from the winter menu didn't taste as listed and the vegetables were definitely not fresh. A plate that was completely returned was not taken off the bill and when we asked about it we didn't get a correct answer. The waiters were nice and tried hard but the boss didn't make it to our table. The guests sitting behind us got their skin course, and the starters hadn't even been cleared away yet.

Was great! The waiters sometimes aren't very attentive, so only 4 stars!

Went to the restaurant around lunchtime and felt very comfortable. The service was quick and super friendly. The portions are large and tasty. Great taste and great value for money! Had the specialties Cevapcici and the minced steak. Both very tasty. There is definitely a plus point for the absolutely charming service. Plus, the latte macchiato is homemade! Thumbs up. Such a lovely place! Went there with a friend for a cocktail and some small bite. The staff is extremely friendly and polite, the drinks were lovely and the fries fresh. I would totally recommend, and I’m sure if I visit Trier again, I’ll go back in. Gorgeous view only adds to the whole scenery. A++++

I haven't seen the inside of the place or location for years. Yesterday I was invited and the food was picked up as Croatia doesn't deliver food! I had “Cordon bleu “Zagreb” schnitzel filled with ham and cheese, garnished with French fries, curry rice and salad €20.50*". The cordon bleu was very good and almost still warm. The fries were cold and of an unacceptable consistency. The curry rice, which is why I ordered the menu, was missing. Everything was carelessly "thrown" into the packaging and overpriced at €20.50. I was glad that I didn't order a vegetable platter, it was absolutely nothing without sauce. Restaurants that don't deliver takeaway food don't offer.

Very nicely located on the Moselle. That was pretty much the best thing. Service .. the young woman really tried hard and tried to run the store as best she could on her own. The lords of creation were busy eating and smoking themselves. We can say about the food... The fries were good, the rest were warmed up and fried.

As some of you already know, we often travel by bike. Of course we often drive past Zurlauben. Last time we stopped at Croatia. Since we often pushed past, cycling is forbidden on the promenade, we examined the really delicious looking plates. It was definitely the right decision to come here. We ordered the BBQ burger, we can only say it was awesome!!! Price performance, as they always say... Top! Really delicious, really a lot, my second lunch the next day. The service was very attentive, the boss was in service himself, which doesn't always happen! A clear recommendation for us. I'm sure we'll come back here next time we cycle!

I was really disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. First of all, the salad was only served with vinegar, instead of a proper dressing. This was not only tasteless but also unpleasant to eat. I would have expected much more for the overpriced prices. As if that wasn't enough, the toilet was in a dirty condition - absolutely unacceptable! I definitely won't be back and can't recommend this restaurant.

Beautifully located on the Moselle. But that was it. The food was cold, but the wine was warm. When I tried to explain this to the waiter, he didn't understand me. The salad consisted essentially of canned ingredients but cost almost €20. I wouldn't visit again.

We had a drink here on the terrace, after we had done a boat trip on the Moselle, and we drove back to the Netherlands, the staff member was not really friendly, which is a shame.

The service is pleasant. The magnificent setting opposite the Moselle. I ate the chicken escalope too dry and poorly accompanied. Maybe the other dishes are better. In any case, it's very nice on the terrace in summer.
