Pane Vino in Trier

I went to Pane Vino with my friends today. The food was delicious. Thank you so much! The service was top-notch! I've never been served so well in all of Trier. At this point, I'd like to mention Patrick. He was cheerful, funny, and courteous. Wow, you could really feel the fun he was having at work. High praise, I'll definitely be back!😊

Very good, large pizzas. But cold service, without a smile or even unfriendly since we don't speak German and it is difficult to be understood, the waiter making no effort. More traders who make a living from tourism while despising tourists.

We had dinner here at the end of a day in Trier. Absolutely no problem even with a dog. The waiters were all very courteous, friendly and in a good mood. None of the boys gave you the feeling that they weren't interested, which is no longer a given today. We both had pizza and it was great too. The "cart wheels" were so big that I took the rest of my bike with me, which was no problem at all. The price is absolutely okay for such a large pizza. My best friend then ordered a tiramisu, which was one of the best things she has ever eaten. (and she is very critical when it comes to tiramisu) Happy to keep it up

The worst restaurant in Trier! Without a doubt. This is the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at. The pasta was completely tasteless, without even a hint of salt. When I asked the waiter, he replied that they don't put salt on the plates here, because customers have to add it themselves at the table. It already seems absurd like this, but even more ridiculous was the fact that the octopus, on the other hand, was excessively salty. The service was also bad. The waiter always had an annoyed expression, as if we owed him money. He just didn't seem to want to work and was extremely rude to customers. Not to mention the sweet potatoes - they were totally burnt! A real shame for Italian cuisine!

The pizza vegetale was very good. It was very large, had a thin floor and was sufficiently covered. The service was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was very appealing. The price-performance ratio was right. Gladly again.

We were there for dinner with 9 people. The food was good, except for the salads, which didn't taste like anything. Unfortunately, service wasn't really there. It all took a very long time and you had to actively ask for the conditions to get new drinks. Ambiance is very nice.

The food was tasteless and cold. 4 of our group got sick from the food and several others had indegestion. The service was slow and inattentive.

Italian restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The pizza tastes very good. The sauces on the pasta could use a little more flavor, but we were a little disappointed here. The friendliness of the service varied greatly between individuals. Reasonably priced.

Despite the low table occupancy, we had to wait about 20 minutes for the drinks. There were no allergens listed on the menu. When we asked, we were told that no substances were used that could cause allergies. Nevertheless, we both felt nauseous after eating, with corresponding further consequences.

Last Saturday I visited Pane Vino with two friends, not my first visit there. We've always been happy so far, but on Saturday we were really excited 👍🏻 this afternoon topped it off again. Although there was a lot going on and we spontaneously went to eat, we were assigned a table straight away by the super nice waiter. Although we had to move around because someone else came without a reservation, that wasn't a problem at all and didn't bother us at all. The staff was very nice. But we really liked our waiter with his friendly and funny manner. Great 👍🏻 kudos to him. We were completely satisfied and special requests were responded to promptly. We'll definitely be back 👍🏻

Spacious place, good dishes and pleasant and fast service. Without a doubt recommended to eat in the city center.

We were totally thrilled! You come in and immediately feel at home. Super nice service, cozy atmosphere, the food was fresh and very tasty! Nice background music at a pleasant volume. The room temperature was not too warm and not too cold (I personally think it's important to mention). Really highly recommended and we will definitely come back for dinner more often!!

We were there in a group of ten people. What can I recommend going there with a large group and the service was also great, because the employees were quick to oblige and also had a very positive first impression. There was always bread with olives and a spicy oil to satisfy a small hunger. There wasn't actually a long wait for the main courses as we had to wait around 15-20 minutes for our dishes to be ready. My personal favorite was ravioli filled with porcini mushrooms and cheese. The drinks were also very tasty, very well prepared and price-wise you can get by very well with €30 for a single person. All I can say about the ambience of the restaurant is that it is very pleasant. You enjoy listening to the music in the background and the lighting is pleasant so you can dine there in peace.

Wir waren mit 8 Personen da, beim Bezahlen wollte ich eine Gutscheinkarte von 70€ anwenden, diese wurde für ungültig erklärt, jedoch einbehalten, mit der Aussage, dass dieser nicht mehr gültig ist, wegen Besitzerwechsel. Dieses ist jedoch im Internet für den Verbraucher nicht ersichtlich, denn der Name und das Logo des Restaurant haben sich nicht geändert, man hat uns mit einer Flasche Wein abgefertigt, daher nie wieder, das ist totale Abzocke.

Das war nichts wirklich Tolles. Das Ambiente eines „Italieners im Brauhausstil“ ging ja noch, die Karte las sich noch ganz gut, das Essen selbst war bestenfalls Durchschnitt.

Customer service was amazing, we knew 0 german and were able to have an amazing time. The cola beer and lamb chops were the best I've had after a 6 month trip.

Visiting Trier and ended up in the piazza behind the Konstantine Basillika in the heart of the Haupmarkt. Stumbled on an eatery off the main square that had customers eating outside in the late summer sun. Food look good so have it a go. We were greeted by our host who gave as an extremely warm welcome and gave us English menus to help us order and placed us on a quiet table outside. Inside, the restaurant was warm & inviting where your pizza could be seen being made. Menu had a very good selection of different Italian foods from various meats, fish & poultry & of course, pasta & pizzas. We selected a pane special pizza & a pane cesera, Milano pasta & salad all to share. All the food was fresh, hot & fabulously tasty. No complaints from anyone on the table. Food was great value for money & the service and attention was very good.

For me the best Italian in Trier. Huge, tasty pizza, excellent pasta dishes, great ambience, very friendly service. I have only eaten pizza like this twice in Germany. In Stuttgart and in Dangast. This Italian is a must in Trier. Addendum 09/24: On our last visit all the dishes were quite tasteless. Pasta, salad, meat. We had to season everything properly. One star deducted.

Four of us dined at Pane Vino on a Friday evening. The restaurant wasn't very full at that point. Shortly after we sat down, a waitress came and put some bread with aioli and the cards at the table. A look at the cards immediately showed that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality here. Homemade pasta with the typical classics of Italian cuisine. The service was always present without being intrusive. We ordered snails and marinated sardines as starters. Both were excellent and very tasty. The portions are absolutely suitable for an appetizer. For the main course we chose salad, pizza, gnocchi and pasta. All the dishes were very, very good and the portions were almost too well-intentioned. In summary: we would come back at any time. The food was absolutely delicious and successful! The service was great and the atmosphere was very cozy.

We spontaneously chose this Italian restaurant and didn't regret it. It was very busy, but we were still well looked after by the attentive waiters (accompanied to the table, handed a card,...). The only drawback was the description of the size of the pizzas. Big is huge here and so we had to admit defeat to this pizza. The quality is right, the price is reasonable. We'd love to come back.

Nice Italian ristorante, delicious pizza, very nice boss. You can tell that some waiters are a bit overwhelmed by the rush of guests in the evening.

Very good food for good price. Friendly staff, not always fast with taken orders or clearing tables, but at least they recognize you when you come a second time and give you you a warm welcome. Also the weather was very warm and humid, which doesnt make it easy to do your job. If we are nearby again we probably eat here again.

Whether in the shade on the terrace or inside in a cozy atmosphere, delicious food and cool drinks are served. The staff is quick and friendly. Price performance fits.

Recommended to us by local friends. Not sure why we were treated poorly by what I assume was the head waiter, as I speak German (although my partner does not); initially we arrived, lots of open tables but he said we couldn’t be seated b/c we didn’t have a reservation. 5 minutes later my partner called asking for a reservation and a different employee said they could seat us if we arrived very soon (we had walked literally 60 seconds away from the restaurant). We were seated; really good food, nice location, decent service. When it was time to pay the guy who initially turned us away came with the bill, and “surprise”, the credit card machine wouldn’t accept our card. Apparently they were “having problems” with the machines. :(. We got cash from an ATM and he assumed the change (€15) was his to keep. Nope. We got our change and tipped the actual person who waited on us for 90 minutes. I’ve lived in Italy and kind of expect that sort of thing to be tried there, but this was our first time being played at a decent restaurant (or anywhere) in Germany. I guess eat there for the food food but let the buyer beware.

The three of us ate here today. After we placed the order, our food came promptly. One of them was correct, two were unfortunately wrong. A pizza was missing a topping. This was thrown on top later and then the pizza went back into the oven. When it came back, it was basically inedible because it was completely dried out. In my opinion, that doesn't actually work. After we complained and asked for the bill, we didn't have to pay for the pizza. At least the insight was there.

Gennemsnitlig mad, men dog store portioner. Betjeningen var temmelig langsom, men ikke uveblig. Øllene kolde, men ikke så kolde som man kunne ønske på en varm sommerdag.

Definitely worth a visit. Very good and centrally located restaurant. Pizza and pasta were very tasty. Price performance is completely ok. Regarding the service: the waiter was either out of his mind or simply not nice. No thank you, please or anything else. Order was taken, turned around and he was gone. You felt unwanted for a moment.

We were here to enjoy a nice evening, unfortunately we weren't able to do that. The lack of service and staff who were overwhelmed and unfriendly gave us a bland and sober visit. It was quite disappointing. You can no longer get food, even though the kitchen was still open. Others were served and we were told the kitchen was closed.

My girlfriend and I came here during the Germany vs Denmark football game, and they treated us excellently. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all amazing. I would 100% recommend to any of my friends

It was the first time for me and I was happy knowing that coming from Italy to Germany the difference in the products is evident, however I appreciated the environment and service...I would gladly return!!!

Now first the menu. Many Italian restaurateurs have missed the point that we are in the new decades and not in the 70s and 80s. That means if I have a lot of dishes on it and always have the same dishes as in the 70s and 80s, I'm good. And then I ask for expensive prices and I don't see why I should go to a restaurant where I always get the same dishes as in the old days. And the dishes can be bought in every supermarket and counter. Italian cuisine means that if I order pasta, it should be freshly prepared in the kitchen and not bought wholesale. You can prepare all of this if you have learned how to prepare it. Today's kitchen consists of a small menu, which also means that it costs less. Work with fresh herbs and offer seasonal dishes. There are asparagus stone mushrooms wild fish wild garlic times. That would be a modern kitchen and a certain price. I could write this out further. But I think everyone understands what I mean. That's how I taught it.

We ordered two pizzas and it was not tasty. Additonally, it took longer to be prepared. Waiter was not friendly either.

Really Poor service, had to ask several times for drinks before we were served and forgot glasses. Our waiter, really didn't care and was uninterested. The food was very average. My pizza was ok but others had over cooked meat. Very poor overall and no reason to go back. Very disappointing

All around a perfect dinner. As a starter we had the vegetarian starter plate... typically Italian with lots of grilled vegetables, mushrooms and olive oil. Very successful and above all delicious mix as a starter. As a main course we had pizza (Pizza Vegetale) and pasta (Pappardelle alla Melanzane & Agnolotti Burro e Salvia). The fresh noodles are a real culinary delight. The size of the pizza is very decent, the toppings are fresh. The dough, as befits a good Italian: wafer-thin and crispy on the edges. Certainly not cheap all in all but undoubtedly worth every euro. We couldn't be happier. Grace!

We had lasagna and spaghetti vongule. Both dishes were a three out of 5 stars. A bit bland, hardly seasoned and not much to do with Italy. It could be that we are too strict because we are Italian famiglia.

Ich war mit meiner Freundin an einem Samstags gegen Mittag zufällig da und haben dann dort mal gegessen. Es war überraschender weise sehr leer, wogegen wir nichts hatten. Die Bedienung war nett aber ich hätte mir etwas mehr gewünscht. Es füllte sich an als wäre man einfach nur ein Kunde von vielen (obwohl leer). Dennoch war das essen sehr gut und echt eine große menge mit dünnem Boden, was ich aber sehr angenehm bei einer Pizza finde. Preis-Leistung finde ich letztendlich auch echt in Ordnung, da des essen wirklich gut war.

ive been there 5 times in the last 2 months, its really great! All the starters i've tried were delicious which can also be said about their pizza and pasta (i'd even say that in terms of pizza and pasta this is the best place in trier i've been to....) The atmosphere is really cozy and the staff are all quite friendly. The service overall is really nice (we've even been given some free drinks in the end), the only downside is that at our last visit they had such a full house that we had to wait 40minutes despite our reservation. Last but not least: you have to try the lemon-sorbet with champagne!

I had dinner there with my daughter and granddaughter and I didn't eat all of my position, it was a large portion of spaghetti! It was very tasty 😋 and they packed the rest for me! I can highly recommend Panne Vino, very friendly service and also very accommodating!!! We will always come back!!

First time at Pane Vino and definitely not the last. The atmosphere was very stylish and you immediately felt at home. The service was very attentive and quick. Friendliness could be felt everywhere. The food was really very good. Homemade noodles at their best. Next time the pizza will be tested. Prices are absolutely justified! I am really excited and can only recommend the restaurant!

Starting with the aperitif, the Aperol Spritz wasn't good, compared to other restaurants I've been to. The burrata didn't have anything special or different to make the dish above average. Serene, welcoming, comfortable and creative environment. Standard price for the service offered.

Gute Pizzeria in der Altstadt. Angenehme Atmosphäre, hervorragendes Essen. Wenn es nicht so voll ist, kommt das Essen ein wenig zu schnell. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam, aber ein wenig reserviert. Insgesamt aber ein gutes Lokal.
