The quality of the food really leaves a lot to be desired; the pizza tastes as if the staff, who were actually very friendly, had run to the Lidl next door, bought the first frozen pizza they could find for 50 cents, and then shoved it in the oven. Some varieties were completely oversalted, some far too dry. However, there's nothing to complain about in terms of the ambiance.

I've never been there before. The good reviews attracted me. The waiters are friendly, but they also actively look away. The wine and food are inexpensive, and the wine (Riesling, old vines) is also quite good. But the pizza! As mentioned in another review: crispy on the outside, but the rest is soggy. That's because the pizza is probably baked in a pan. That can't work; the pizza will then be just as soggy as it would be in your own oven. The rest of the pizza isn't exactly great either. The spicy oil isn't spicy either. You could pour the whole bottle on the pizza. At the end, after paying, there's a grappa. But obviously not for new customers...

To be honest, I absolutely don't understand the good reviews here My meal there ordered pizza pasta and carpacio salad. Salad was OK but it's not an art paste was completely overcooked and soggy and the pizza was by far the worst thing I've ever eaten. Pizza Teik under the cheese was still raw. We completely left the pasta and pizza behind and they didn't offer to take the items off the bill. Instead, I could hear that this had never happened before I really can't recommend this restorante

Would also give 10/10 stars for this restaurant. The two of us were there in the middle of the week and can absolutely recommend it. The restaurant is rustic but nicely decorated, the service is friendly and reliable. Now to the food, the most important thing of course. The portions are quite large, even the starters are not skimpy, the pizza is not dripping with fat and the pasta is cooked nicely aldente. You can have a good traditional meal here, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Super tasty pizza, the salads were really good too. Various dressings are offered (honey mustard was my personal favorite 😊) Price-performance ratio is absolutely ok. Even special requests (espresso with whiskey👍🏼) are fulfilled. We were in transit for 3 days and ate here twice! Highly Recommended!!

Although the food was adequate the restaurant with infested with flies. Not one attempt was by the staff to eradicate them. Hugely off putting and thoroughly unpleasant. Avoid this place.

The mushroom cream soup is very tasty and you can tell by the taste of the pizza rolls that they are fresh and delicious. Definitely recommended again tomorrow evening 👍😍

Oikein hyvä pitsa. Liikenne hieman häiritsee jos istuu ulkona. Hyvä ja kattava ruokalista.

Ich wurde in diese Lokalität von einem Bekannten eingeladen. Das Restaurant war sauber, die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Geschmacklich war es für mich guter Standard, so wie ich es aus den meisten italienischen Restaurants kenne. Ich finde sowas persönlich immer etwas schade, da ich mich gerne von innovativen Ideen der Gastronomen überraschen lasse. Zur preislichen Gestaltung kann ich nichts sagen, da ich eingeladen wurde. Fazit: Kann man machen, muss aber nicht.

Wir haben zwei super leckere Cordon Bleus, ein leckeres Pizzabrot als Vorspeise gegessen und dazu ordentliche Portionen erhalten. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren das erste mal seit der Restaurantübernahme wieder hier. Weiter so und wir kommen gerne bald wieder! 😊

Das Essen ist wirklich gut und die Portionen stimmen ebenfalls Der Service ist freundlich , aber ungelernt und teilweise unbeholfen Das Ambiente der Räumlichkeiten hat sich zu früher als es noch als Kneipe geführt wurde kaum verändert Die einen können es Retro und Siebziger-Charme nennen, andere wahrscheinlich altmodisch und bieder Doch das bisher immer gute Essen läßt einen gerne ab und zu wieder bei Toni einkehren

Ich verstehe einige Hobby Kritiker nicht. Meine Familie und Ich waren schon sehr oft bei dieser Pizzeria. Wir sind alle mehr als zufrieden und werden in Zukunft auch öfter dort essen. Das Essen ist super gut und schmeckt lecker. Die neue Formel vom Pizza Teig auch super gut ! Also wie gesagt ich verstehe diese Hobby Restaurant Kritiker nicht ! Ich empfehle jedem diese pizzeria . Ps: Die Mitarbeiter sind übrigens alles andere als unfreundlich! Vielen Dank an Tonis!

Essen gehen in Trier -- das gehört zu den nervigsten und unerfreulichsten Unterfangen. In mehreren Stadtvierteln gibt es kein einziges Restaurant und falls doch, öffnet es abends nicht vor 18 Uhr. Wenn man sich beispielsweise um 18.45 Uhr In Trier-Süd vor der Matthiaskirche einfinden muß, um den Zubringerbus zur Philharmonie Luxembourg zu erreichen, findet man weit und breit außer einer Dönerbude (die übrigens eine recht gute Qualität bietet) nur eine Gaststätte, in der man um 17.30 Uhr (außer montags) etwas bekommt: die Pizzeria Toni. Dort habe ich jetzt, das kann ich beschwören, die unterirdischste Fischsuppe meines Lebens serviert bekommen. Heißes Wasser, einige winzige Gemüseschnitze, vier oder fünf Krabben und ein paar mikroskopisch kleine Fetzen Lachs: Das war's schon. Für ein solches Gebräu auch noch sechs Euro zu verlangen, das muß man sich als Wirt erst einmal trauen. Daß das Ganze dennoch eher mit "mangelhaft" als mit "ungenügend" zu bewerten ist, liegt daran, daß es netterweise dazu noch etwas lauwarmes Knoblauchbrot gab. Wer mit einem Restaurantbesuch keine besondere Qualitätserwartung verbindet, mag die Lasagne (mit einer relativ dünnflüssigen, nach billigen Zutaten schmeckenden Bolognese-Sauce) vielleicht ganz annehmbar finden. Daß es zum Schluß etwas Alkoholisches auf's Haus gab, ist sicher eine freundliche Geste, auch wenn ich als Nichtalkoholiker davon nicht profitierte. Am Nachbartisch aßen Gäste verschiedene Pizzen. Sie sahen gut aus (dünner, knuspriger Rand, reichlicher Belag). Vielleicht wäre das einen zweiten Versuch wert? Es muß ja nicht wieder diese "Fischsuppe" sein.

Ich mag die Pizza mit Chamignongs,Salami und Pepperoniwurst.,......Pizza Casa,sehr lecker.Dazu einen Lambrusco....was will der Mensch mehr zum Glücklich sein?

Gast ist nicht gleich Gast!!! Alle Gäste erhielten zum Abschluß,wie bei einem guten Italiener üblich, einen Drink aufs Haus; wir nicht!! Lag es daran, weil wir die letzten Gäste(22.05h) waren oder hatte man nur einfach keine Lust mehr? Sehr unprofessionell!! Das Essen war mäßig, zB hat Tiefkühlpaprika auf einer Pizza nichts zu suchen; Wein schmeckte nicht; Pizza war nicht gewürzt,wir wünschten etwas zum Nachwürzen, dies wurde uns doch tatsächlich in Rechnung gestellt! Wirtschaftlichkeit darf nicht auf Kosten der Gäste und der Qualität gehen!!! Für Gäste, die auf Vintage,-) Style stehen, geeignet (Rotweingläser aus der 70Jahre Kollektion)!!! Pizza in mittleren Größe kostet trotz TK Ware stolze 11 Euro! Preis-Leistung ist hier keinesfalls gegeben! Wir werden dieses Lokal NIE!!! wieder besuchen! Abschließend noch ein Manko! Der Raucherbereich war geöffnet, so dass der stinkende Tabakrauch in den Nichtraucherbereich zogen! Wir hatten Kinder dabei, dies ärgerte uns extrem! Dies sind unsere Erfahrungen, die wir am heutigen Abend gemacht haben.

Auf unserem Weg von St. Mattias in die Innenstadt sind wir hier eingekehrt. Wir hatten Glück und bekamen noch einen Tisch. Wir aßen sehr leckere Nudelgerichte. Als Vorspeise hatten wir einen Salat. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen.

Von aussen unscheinbar, drinnen eine etwas altertümlich anmutende Kneipeneinrichtung und eine Aufteilung in 2 Räume:Raucher und Nichtraucher. Lediglich durch eine Schiebetür getrennt. Nun, erstaunlich: ich habe keinen Rauch im Nichtraucherbereich wahrnehmen können. Das Essen: super! Gut gegrillte Lammkotelette, auf den Punkt gegart, deftig, mit viel Knoblauch, frischer Salat, delikate Bratkartoffeln, die an Chips erinnern, knackig, nicht zu fett, Gratulation! Es war sehr viel los, Die Hütte brannte sozusagen. Gleichwohl bedienten Sohn und Vater souverän, schnell und freundlich.Alle Achtung! Gerne immer wieder. Tischreservierung empfohlen. Nächstes Mal probiere ich die Pizzen.

Who would have thought that the best pizza I would have had, next to Italy, would be in Trier. This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the condo we are staying at. After a long day exploring Luxembourg, we walked down to this local restaurant with the expectation of eating at a typical pizzeria. How wrong could be have been! This was a surprisingly large restaurant with a side room that was large than the room we walked into. We were seated at a table for four with white linen and candles. (So much for my thought of a regular pizzeria!). We ordered a glass of house white (OK), house red (passable) and a beer (excellent). For dinner there were three individual pizzas and one spinach and cannelloni dish. All were out out of this world good. The serving staff were excellent and very friendly. our German is basically non existent and their English the same but we made it work. Even the local patrons joined in to try and converse with us. It was truly awesome. To top it off, the owner sent us over a after dinner drink gratis!! What more could you ask for. Highly recommend!!!!
