Very tasty food, pleasant atmosphere but the young woman at the checkout was very unfriendly. Please teach your employees how to serve and advise respectfully. Thanks

I've always been a fan of Dean & David, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is increasingly leaving something to be desired. The quality has noticeably deteriorated, which is simply unacceptable given the high prices. The salad was not only carelessly put together, but also poorly washed - you bite on sand and see unsightly leaves that should actually have been sorted out. The atmosphere was even more unpleasant: During the meal, I constantly had to listen to the young women behind the counter loudly complaining about their colleagues. Instead of complaining about others, it would make more sense to concentrate on the quality of the food and pre-wash and pick the salad properly. I won't be coming back!

Food is fine, 25 min waiting time. Hot drinks waited for 15 minutes before we received a signal. SMS system does not work usefully

Today I was served by a nice woman shortly before closing time. Despite ordering late, she was helpful and friendly to me. Thank you very much 🙏🏻

I've always enjoyed going to Dean & David for years, but recently things have changed for the worse. The portions have become smaller, so they are no longer filling. The tables are often dirty. The staff is always understaffed, so things get chaotic and mistakes are made (wrong ingredients, a take-away dish is prepared on a plate and then added to the to-go bowl, sauces are forgotten, etc.). Today at lunchtime there were only two employees in charge of the entire store. With such understaffing, it is not possible to collect cash, lovingly prepare dishes and take care of washing up and cleanliness at the same time. Dear management, such conditions are unacceptable for your employees and customers! Please ensure there are enough staff (even the new, incomprehensible ordering counters do not replace people). Or if there is a high level of sickness absence, leave the restaurant closed completely instead of making the few employees sick due to the enormous stress and scaring away customers with poor service and poor quality.

I'm actually a huge fan of the food and like to recommend it to people around me. Unfortunately, I had a not so nice experience last time when an employee with short orange hair reacted rudely and insultingly to a small misunderstanding.

I went to Dean&David for the first time today and, thanks to some bad reviews, I was skeptical. It was awesome❗️ Great service, extremely tasty and rich bowl, very clean location. Maybe not exactly cheap, but... Where else can you get cheap food with absolutely fresh ingredients these days 🤷🏻‍♀️ We'll definitely be back!

I was so looking forward to visiting Dean and David. However, seriously disappointed. Waited half an hour for my Salomon spring bowl. It was carelessly prepared and the bread that came with it was no longer fresh. Honestly, spending 14.45 euros on this is just too much. Bad Kreuznach last time everything was much better and faster.

Had 2 very tasty salads and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back :)

The tiny tortilla with falafel was also cold and not good. I don't know what the Germans have in mind to add cabbage and pomegranate to falafel in one tortilla. The veg was disgusting and inedible. My fiancé had chicken in teryaki and it's clear that they don't understand the concept of teryaki... although he liked his. I do not recommend it, even though the service was very nice and helpful.

I can't understand the negative comments at all, and it has nothing to do with constructive criticism. I was eating here with a friend and we received a very friendly welcome and had our food after 10 minutes! The staff (young lady) was super friendly! are here for the third time and are not disappointed. Wishes and extras are gladly accepted and implemented. A great light meal in such hot temperatures… gladly again 😊

Dirty train station flair at high prices. We were here in the late afternoon and were hoping for a fresh bowl. Dirty tables, cutlery not washed properly and rancid glasses (I have no idea what can be so difficult about using a dishwasher correctly). Even the waitress only found dirty glasses with leftover food on the entire shelf. Sorry is nice but doesn't help. After a very long wait and mixing up the dish, the food was okay but the taste was so-so. No recommendation from me!

Update from today: Ordered and paid for extra sauce, not included. Likewise the cucumber. It's a shame, you're annoyed at home. Of course, from now on we will always check... Afterwards you will be smarter... Very nice welcome! Food tastes just as good at home after picking it up! Thank you! 👍🏼

It always bothers me a little to have to order at the register and bring it to the table but this place is very good. The dishes are abundant and of quality. The beautiful and a step away from the Porta Nigra.

Food works like that, ordering via terminal is quite complicated, nowhere is it explained where and what the “pager” is, but the things are broken and are suddenly called “table”.😜 Too many management consultants 😉

We came to eat for lunch. And how can I say it was just great, I'm a big fan of this cuisine and this carrot cake is a real delight 🥰🥰🥰

We were there again today after a long time. Apparently something was changed in the concept. We didn't go back then because the portions kept getting smaller. Today we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was right there. Keep it up. Friendly, clean, fresh and decent portion.

The restaurant is not cleaned up. The tables are dirty, the places to return dishes are full to the point where they can no longer be used. It took 45 minutes for a standard dish. The signaling device didn't work either. One star is even too much for this bottomless service

To get a cappucino and a coffee we had to wait 12 minutes. The coffee looked like tea, tasted like dirt water

When ordering, all we heard was, it's no longer there, etc. After we were finally able to order something, it took 30 minutes until the food was ready. There were 4 other guests there with us. The salad was inedible and only tasted like balsamic vinegar. The rice in the bowl was cold. The female staff was just annoyed. A pity !

I was looking for a little something and am always interested in what is IN the products (ingredients, no allergen information!!). Unfortunately, it is no longer common practice these days to be able to tell the guest what is in the finished (baked) product of CONTENT (e.g. wheat or spelled flour, the type of fat or oil, sugar/substitute/fruit sweetener, etc.). I can't give any information about the taste because the lady behind the counter said that she couldn't know what was in everything. Only one allergen card came up. Then I turned away and bought something at the store. I would like to specifically point out that everyone should receive information about the ingredients! And easy to see. This doesn't just affect Dean&David, other restaurants (especially chains) are not exempt either.

Unfortunately ordered salad for the second time. I paid around €25 and once again after 25 minutes of waiting there was no dressing on the salad, even though I mentioned it specifically. I have no understanding of that. The restaurant was almost empty. And for €25 you should expect there to be dressing on it. When I go at lunchtime, I've never had this problem...

Guys - you just gave me the three hardest pieces of bread (at least two days old). How cheeky is that? :D Otherwise, stable salad, as always.

A small portion of the order was not delivered. Despite an explicit request for a partial refund, only a voucher was issued and the request for a refund was not responded to.

We've been back there for a long time...unfortunately today it wasn't the same as it used to be...the salad was good, but the curry sauce for the beef curry wasn't warm, just the rice...the ingredients, please don't include them The food that was supposed to be on it was still in the food... the tables weren't wiped down (and there was actually nothing going on at the time)... I ended up wiping the table myself... the drinks weren't cold... unfortunately disappointing

Ceaser salad had no croutons and no cheese as advertised . The humus had no flavour and the teriyaki wrap had rice that was uncooked . We exchange it for ceaser wrap but not that great . Expected more but disappointed. I guess it is fries and wurst for us in trier!!!

Tuesday, 10:04 a.m.! As we walked in, an employee met us and brought chairs outside. She only said good morning after I said it to her. Then the next employee shouts at us from another corner: what time is it? No hello, no good morning, nothing! Just what time it is. I told her the time - she yells back, we don't open until 10 o'clock. So we didn't eat anything there - I can't rate the food. But these staff should undergo service training!!

Unfriendly service, dirty, stops making coffee an hour before closing time. Many hours of dishes are in the return cart. Certainly not again.

The bowls, wraps and salads are very tasty and the staff is friendly.

I have been a customer there for many years and have always been very satisfied. Recently, however, the portions have become so outrageously small. I've tested this several times and now I won't go again. I am a normal weight person who is happy with normal portions. But what you get there for 10-12 euros is at most an appetizer. You really won't get tired of it. The bowl is no more than half full, although it used to be really full. The staff changes constantly and is sometimes unprofessional. The price-performance ratio is no longer right for me if, after a lunch for twelve euros, I still have to buy rolls from the bakery in order to feel full.

Would give zero stars if it were possible... We're pissed. We have it on February 5th!!!! Want to order something in the evening. It was shortly before the delivery deadline and we were called after placing the order saying that it was no longer possible because the driver had already left. We were not offered an alternative, such as collection. No problem so far. When I asked what happened with the cancellation and the money back, I was told that someone would take care of it the next morning and then the money would come. The next day nothing happened. At first we didn't let it bother us and until Wednesday (we had ordered on Monday), when nothing happened on Wednesday I called, whereupon the employee on the phone said she didn't know anything about it, but she would take care of it took care of it and gave me a number to which I sent screenshots of the order. She said it could take a few days. That was okay at first, but when I waited and waited again, I called again and was told it was in progress and would take a few more days via Lieferando. That was 1.5 weeks ago. To date we haven't gotten our money back (almost €30). It's an absolute disgrace, on the part of the store and the employees. Will not go or order here again!!

Ordered at 2:15 p.m. for 4:30 p.m., called the restaurant after a 15 minute delay and asked, a friendly employee then said that there was currently no driver and that it could be delayed until around 5:30 p.m.... at 5:45 p.m called again, then a nice lady said that the food was on the way and would arrive soon, and that was it. Finally! Then the mango was missing from the “Yellow MANGO Curry”...

It's a fast food chain, not much to add, location is very good, but food it's OK.

Unverschämtheit dass es keine Mini chicken Bowl mehr gibt

Leckeres Essen, hübsch angerichtet und schnell fertig. Lediglich der kalte Luftzug der durch das Restaurant zog, als jemand etwas in den Laden brachte (Tür stand [jetzt im Winter]) mehrere Minuten offen, trübte den guten Eindruck. Getränke sind für mein Empfinden ein Tick zu teuer. 3,75€ für ein Flaschengetränk (0,33l) empfinde ich als unangemessen.

Ich besuchte das Restaurant vor drei Tagen und war enttäuscht. Die Wartezeit von über 45 Minuten für einen Salat war unakzeptabel. Die Servicekraft war unhöflich und hat sogar nach Trinkgeld gefragt – ein absolutes No-Go. Die Preise erscheinen mir zu hoch, und der Salat enthielt zu wenig Fleisch, das zudem komplett ölig war. Die hygienebedingten Bedenken, von anderen erwähnt, konnte ich leider auch feststellen. Die Mitarbeiter wirkten unprofessionell, oft am Handy und ohne Handschuhe tätig. Nach dieser Erfahrung werde ich das Restaurant meiden.

Eigentlich ein guter Laden nur schade das durch Unterbesetzung der Service und die Sauberkeit oft leiden.

Das Essen ist zwar immer sehr lecker aber selbst bei bestelltem essen zum abholen , musste ich noch ewig dort warten bis es fertig war. …. 👎

Das Restaurant enttäuschte auf ganzer Linie. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war unangemessen, die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig, und das Personal arbeitete ohne Handschuhe und wirkte nachlässig. Die Arbeitsfläche war extrem unhygienisch, während die Mitarbeiter mehr mit ihren Handys beschäftigt schienen. Der einzige Lichtblick waren die sauberen Toiletten. Überhaupt keine Weiterempfehlung.

Die Bowls sind super lecker und von guter Qualität. Werden wiederkommen

We bestelden één van de vele salades. Verrassend samengesteld met een lekkere dressing. Bestellen bij de counter en wachten tot de uitgedeelde buzzer afgaat. Tja. Daarna afhalen en zeker genieten. De tafeltjes zijn relatief klein maar bruikbaar. Meerdere plekjes met uitzicht op de drukke straat.

Ich war heute Abend da und ich muss sagen dass die blonde Kellnerin sehr nett war und hat uns vorbildlich bedient. Mir ist leider etwas runter gefallen und die große dunkle Bedienung hat es direkt weg gemacht freundlicher weiße. Das Essen und Ambiente war eine 10/10. echt empfelungswert 👍

Superleckeres Essen (Crispy Chicken Bowl) mit frischen Zutaten (Hähnchen, Edamebohnen, Mangostücke, Granatapfelkerne...) mit nettem Blick auf die Porta Nigra.

Endlich eine Kette die dem "Dreck" von Mc Donalds und co Kante zeigen kann. Macht weiter so und toll das ihr viele vegane Gerichte habt. Es schmeckt jedes Mal gleich lecker und Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist auch gut.

Immer super lecker. Mehrere Gerichte probiert und nie enttäuscht worden. Chicken ceasar Salat und Chicken bowl Curry sehr zu empfehlen. Mitarbeiter immer sehr freundlich und geben Auskunft über Allergene und Inhaltsstoffe. Wartezeit ist nie lange. Essen ist frisch und heiß. Tolles Konzept! Update nach 3 Jahren. Bestellen und liefern lassen ist die reinste Katastrophe. Beim letzten Mal falsches Essen bekommen, dann wurde neu geliefert und es haben Sachen gefehlt.... Jetzt erneut bestellt. Schon über eine halbe Stunde zu spät. Werden von der Lieferung wohl Abstand nehmen.

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und vor allem Frisch. Für Leute die nicht allzu wählerisch sind ist auf jeden Fall alles dabei. Dennoch ist es eher auf die Jüngere Generation zugeschnitten. Der Service ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, jedoch das Ambiente ist mir persönlich etwas zu leer.

Gesunder 'Fast-Food', leckere Salate und Bowls, aber relativ teuer

Die Mitarbeitenden heute hatten ganz schon Stress und sind damit aber souverän umgegangen. Der Mitarbeitende an der Salatbar schien etwas unbedarft, weshalb es zu längeren Wartezeiten kam. Vielleicht wurde er aber auch heute eingearbeitet. In jedem Fall hat er sein Bestes gegeben und mich stört es nicht auf leckeres Essen im Urlaub etwas zu warten. Salat war wie immer sehr gut. Einen Studentenrabatt gab es auch noch :)

Die Atmosphäre und der Vibe waren einfach fantastisch. Das Essen auch super lecker!!🙌. Die Mitarbeiter haben einen netten und sympathischen Eindruck gemacht! Immer wieder gerne. Lieblingsspot!

Not impressed. Bought two wraps. The guy at the counter decided to put the in the grill, which pretty much destroyed them. Since when are wraps grilled???

In general, everything is fine, but do not take poke with a beef - it is sinewy and cruel. Branded freshly squeezed juice is great!

Lekker eten voor niet te duur snel op tafel

Tolle Bowls, guter Kaffee, ganz zentral direkt an der Porta. Klasse für die schnelle Mittagspause und kurze Auszeit zwischendurch. Vorbestellung möglich, daher perfekt für ein gutes Zeitmanagement.

Mitarbeiter riechen nach Zigaretten, keine Handschuhe, Glassplitter auf dem Boden und immer fehlt was im Essen. Mitarbeiter sind total unfreundlich. Ich gehe dort nicht mehr essen.

Kann ich absolut NIEMANDEN empfehlen!! Die ganze Mannschaft sitzt hinten in der Küche am Handy. Es wird ohne Handschuhe gearbeitet und sobald man sich an den Platz sitzt hört man nur wie gelästert wird und wie sie einen dumm anschauen. Geht überhaupt nicht!!!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Bin/war sehr zufrieden. Die Mitarbeiter/ das Personal ist sehr freundlich und essen wird mit liebe zubereitet ich liebs <3 :)

Sparmenü bestellt. Auf der Abbildung war ein Brownie zu sehen. Von dem habe ich mir die Hälfte bekommen. Als ich meinte ob das ein Spaß wäre, meinte man zu mir da steht ja kleiner Brownie. Ganz klar ein Fall für den Verbraucherschutz. Da steht nicht einmal Abbildung ähnlich. In den Gerichten ist seit kurzem auch immer mehr Reis drin. Es wird an allen Ecken gespart. Mich würde Mal interessieren, ob das mit dem halben Brownie tatsächlich so vorgegeben ist, oder ob man einfach die Hälfte für was anderes benutzen möchte...

Een leuke eettent met uitzicht op de Porta Nigra in Trier. Een ruim assortiment met heerlijke wraps, broodjes, soepen, smoothies enzovoort. Het bestelproces verliep niet helemaal zoals de bedoeling was en het bestelde drinken was niet voorradig, maar desondanks hebben we er lekker gegeten.

Wir hatten einen Kaffee getrunken aber das Essen sah sehr schön aus 😊

Wir haben uns essen bestellt 2 mal Bowl und 2 Sandwiches. Wir waren von allem sehr enttäuscht. Avocado kaum vorhanden, Salat matschig, sehr dünn belegt. Für den Preis super enttäuscht. Im anderen Läden der Kette habe ich schon gut gegessen, in Trier habe ich jetzt schon zum 2 mal Pech gehabt. Da bestelle ich sicher nicht wieder.

Amazing food and smoothies. Healthy but also very tasty. Everything you want for a pick-me-up lunch! They have a great mix of warm and cold options, smaller bites and big bowls, and meat or vegan. I can highly recommend all of what we had: Caesar chicken wrap (smaller bite) and falafel vegan bowl (meal), plus ACE juice and super green macha smoothie!!

Vorgestern bin zum ersten Mal dahin und werde es nie wieder. Es war nicht viel los trotzdem wurde ich ignoriert. Nichtmal begrüßt wurde ich.. Das geht echt gar nicht! Ich hab viel Verständnis, aber ich arbeite selbst in der Gastronomie und hab so etwas noch nicht erlebt. Ihr verliert so Kundschaft! An das junge Mädchen das mich ignoriert hat - Stell dir vor du kommst in ein Restaurant wolltest bequem was essen und du wirst ignoriert bekommst nicht mal ein hallo, obwohl die Person dich gesehen hat… Mega enttäuscht! Schade wenn das Restaurant eigentlich nicht so schlecht ist. Aber das mach ich kein zweites Mal… Ich hätte die Wartezeit vollkommen in kauf genommen, wenn Sie mich nicht ignoriert hätten.

Wie gewohnt, hervorragender Service und frische Speisen der Extraklasse. Immer gerne wieder! Vor allem die Salatbowls und Smoothies begeistern mich immer wieder!

Unser Besuch mit der Familie war ein gelungener Nachmittag. Die Speisen sehr lecker, toll angerichtet und die Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden wieder kommen und wünschen dem Team weiterhin viele zufriedene Gäste. Wir waren es. Danke für einen gelungenen netten Nachmittag.

Also ich kenne den Laden seit Beginn und Ihr habt sowas von krass nachgelassen! Es ist teilweise schon echt unverschämt was einem serviert wird und vom Service will ich gar nicht erst anfangen. Essen: ständig fehlt was in der Bowl, ob toppings oder Fleisch...jedes Mal wird irgendwas vergessen. Dressing und Brot sucht man vergeblich ...denn damit wird ordentlich gespart! Service: unfähig, genervt und chaotisch - diese Eigenschaften machen den Laden aus! Achso ...und unhygienisch! Siehe Geschirr, Tische, Zubereitung der Speisen Echt schade, was Ihr aus dem Laden gemacht habt, denn es war anfangs wirklich sehr sehr gut

Auf der Suche nach einem gesunden Abendbrot wurden wir sehr positiv von diesem Restaurant überrascht. Die Auswahl war sehr groß und abwechslungsreich, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Wir würden immer wieder hier hin gehen. Also klare Empfehlung bei einem Besuch in Trier!

Nous avons déjeuné chez Dean and David lors de notre escapade à Trèves. Leurs salade sont juste excellentes. Leurs jus et smoothies sont très bien aussi. Service rapide. C'était parfait en ce jour de canicule ! Dommage que ce concepet ne soit pas encore arrivé en France !

In der jetzigen Zeit mittels Lieferung geordert. Hier mal was anderes als die üblichen Pizza, Döner und Co Restaurants. Pünktliche Lieferung aufs Land. Fantastischer Geschmack mit frischen Produkten. Hier ist ein tolles Konzept vorhanden. Wir werden hier öfter bestellen.

Geschmacklich ganz stark. Frische Zutaten und außergewöhnliche Kombinationen. Jedes Gericht scheint bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht und abgestimmt zu sein. Die tollen Dressings und Soßen sind da nur das i Tüpfelchen. Ich würde allerdings empfehlen von einer Bestellung nach Hause abzusehen. Die Wartezeiten hierbei sind schon recht lang. Von daher lieber vor Ort genießen.
