L'Osteria in Trier

Es war wie immer ausgezeichnet. Wir lieben dieses Restaurant und gehen dort gerne mit der ganzen Familie essen. Tolles und freundliches Personal.

Great hidden but not really out of they way place. Location reduced the noise from the concerts immensely. I really happy when I looked around the huge outdoor seating area and saw no ashtrays! AWESOME. Unfortunately some youth were vaping. DISGUSTING, then I saw a sneaky rude smoke trying to hide his cigarette but then he went and found an ashtray. I hope they will soon prohibit smoking in their outdoor seating area! The food was delicious! Our waitress was great most of the time until I asked for a dessert menu. After delivering it she came so close yo returning to our table but always seemed to find a reason not to return to our table. I finally got up and told what I wanted.

This is the most delicious pizza I've ever eaten. Mamamia!

We stayed in Ibis and decided to have dinner here because we did not want to walk too much because of the heat. And it was actually a very good choice! We had pasta, the portions were big, the taste was great and the staff was very friendly and fast. The restaurant also looks great on the inside.

Pizza is quite good if you're really hungry. I found the lasagna to be very bad; the meat was chopped too finely and the tomato sauce was rather mediocre. The menu says it contains béchamel sauce, BUT IT IS NOT!

Service and pizza, top-notch as always! Today, for the first time, we had "problems" with our dessert. After a quick note to our server, another employee came over and agreed that the dessert wasn't perfect. The dessert was then removed from the bill, and we received a free coffee. We were very pleased with this professional and accommodating arrangement, especially since we go there quite often and have never had any problems with the food. We were also very pleased that our complaint was taken so seriously and forwarded immediately. THAT'S how customer service works. We'll definitely be back very soon and often! The fact that the pizza and service were top-notch is a given there anyway 😀

It's perfectly acceptable to have to wait in the evening without a reservation, but not mentioning upfront that you can't serve alcoholic beverages because you weren't able to renew your license in time is simply unacceptable. Especially from a chain like this, you should expect that such things don't happen. In my opinion, this is very poor management. I'm used to something different from other L'Osteria locations.

Ok! L'Osteria ist kein gastronomischer Tempel. Man braucht das aber auch nicht immer! Im Gegenteil: man ist oft froh, wenn man leckeres Essen, schnell, günstig und vor allem in einem dezenten Ambiente bekommt. Nicht zuletzt dann, wenn man mit kleinen Kindern in der Stadt, im Sommer unterwegs ist. Dafür ist L'Osteria immer eine gute und beliebte Adresse. Pizza oder Salate, alles ist frisch und schmeckt sehr lecker. Gerne wieder!

We absolutely love it here! The atmosphere is always like being on vacation in Italy, the food is delicious, and the value is right here. We highly recommend it :)

Can't order alcohol due to liquor licence issue but wasn't explained until after we tried to order.

After a few minutes, we were served and, when ordering, informed that the restaurant was not licensed and that we could not order wine or beer. Since we were there celebrating a birthday, this was obviously a bad joke, but it was also the reality. The staff didn't seem to know what was going on. Despite the moderately busy crowd, the food took a little longer to arrive. It was okay, but nothing more. The pizza wasn't hot. Overall, we didn't find the atmosphere particularly inviting—we'll choose a different restaurant next time for these reasons.

Pizza is ok, and that's it. I was there last time 3 years ago and it was better. More food to choose from and drinks. But I can recommend this place, why not. For a meeting of a larger group of young people, definitely

Es war wieder sehr lecker, dort gibt es für mich die beste Tortellini Proscuitto e Panna. Auch die Pizzen waren lecker. Großes Lob geht an den Service sehr aufmerksam, super lieb und auf Zack. Rundherum war es ein sehr schöner Abend. Ich kann diese Pizzeria mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Kommen auch immer wieder gerne wieder.

A very nice evening at L'Osteria Trier! The food was truly delicious – fresh, hot, and generously portioned. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive service, which immediately made you feel at home. The music was a bit loud, but that didn't spoil the good atmosphere. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable evening – we'd love to come back!

A terrible experience. We were completely ignored and not served – obviously because we didn't fit the service profile. Unfortunately, a clear case of arrogant behavior. Never again! Addendum: Thanks for the response, L'Osteria Marketing Team. You have a solid position, so I've adjusted my rating and also awarded a second star (for the response, so to speak). Nevertheless, the behavior of the service staff was beyond derogatory. Therefore, I have no choice but to leave these two stars.

Ich konnte einen wunderschönen Geburtstagstag in der Osteria ausklingen lassen. Ich hatte sehr leckere Spinat, Nudeln und die anderen übelst leckere Pizzen.

Very nice location in the inner courtyard. The staff was attentive and quick. Short waiting times are ok due to the high utilization. The mixed salad was crunchy and tasty. The ravioli with green asparagus from the season menu was also very tasty.

This place is a calm and lovely place to eat Italian food, the service was awsome and the staff was super freindly we even got drinks on the house. The food was perfect and i really recommend comming here.

Terrible service. Food was only ok. There was a heavy shower of rain as we arrived and everyone rushed inside so we were left sitting at the bar while they got a handle on the floor, which was fine but after we were seated we continue had to ask for things. To order, for cutlery, for condiments etc. We got a drink from the bar and paid for them but I was asked three times if we had paid for the drinks. I almost had to shove the receipt in their face.

L'Osteria just as you know it. Actually I should have only given one star. On the day we were there, the men's toilet was completely dirty. Urinals overflowed and the urinal grid was on the floor. Terrible, because the eye eats too. If the toilet had been clean, I would have clearly given it 5 stars. I will come back, the food was very tasty. I think I'll give it 5 stars next time I visit.

The meal was a disaster from the start; a noticeable lack of friendliness from certain staff members, to the point of outright rudeness. We waited 50 minutes for a pizza and spaghetti with tomato sauce. After asking twice about the delay, I received only silence and indifference in response. The pizza arrived cold, with little flavor, few ingredients, and undercooked. The pasta wasn’t much better either. I had been to other locations before, so I was hoping for at least decent service and taste, but this was by far the worst experience. I'm sure losing a customer won’t matter to you, especially judging by the 'copy-paste' responses you give to feedback, but in my case, the decision is made. Thanks to these arrogant attitudes and experiences, I’ve come to value the professionalism that is sorely lacking in this sector even more. I hope this at least makes you reconsider certain behaviors.

The food - here there were two pizzas - was excellent. The service was quick and super friendly. Value for money is great.

We were there (6:45 p.m.) for dinner. You wait at the entrance to the terrace until a waiter releases a table. We had Appetizer: Antipasti della Casa great👍 have us the small version divided. Main course: Aglio e Olio/Crabs👍 - I Orecchiette di monza al lime 👍-my love Drinks: Wheat beer + bitter lemon👍 Digestif - 2x👍 Hugo The entire meal was above average or very good and cost €75. The service was very pleasant. We had a very nice stay there.

It's very good, a great portion, but unfortunately the food is very heavy. I ordered an Acqua Monaco and it came with an Acqua Pana, which is completely different.

You get large portions for a fair prise and the food was very delicious. I would recommend the spaghetti carbonara. So this place is worth a visit.

Visited Trier with a friend. Stayed at the Ibis Hotel. The restaurant is located directly in the courtyard. Unfortunately, after more than 15 minutes at the table, we were punished with disrespect. There were enough staff, but no one felt responsible for us!!!! Then left the location. Very humble service!!!!

Short and sweet. It was very tasty and the service and ambience invite you to come back. Absolute recommendation and we definitely won't be there the last time! A big compliment especially to the friendly service staff.

Super nice atmosphere and delicious food!! I was here with my family and the service was also super nice. The pizzas are gigantic, I shared one with my sister. We were able to have both sides topped differently and then had our halves pre-cut on our own plates. Shared pizzas are definitely a recommendation, especially because the pizzas are otherwise so big that you can hardly eat them alone. Price-performance is also great :)

I ordered a salad and a shared pizza (7:20 p.m.) and chose the next pick-up option (7:45 p.m.). Was there on time, it was busy, I was asked to go to the bar and took a seat there. I wasn't in that much of a hurry, but when at 8:05 p.m. there was still nothing ready and in progress, I started to get grumpy and started asking where the food was. Long story short nonsense at 8:20 p.m. I came out with a 1/3 2/3 filled pizza that wasn't baked through... When asked, no discount or voucher was given.

We were there on a Sunday with seven people and a dog. The online reservation worked well - the confirmation came with a little delay, but everything went smoothly. The welcome was warm, the service was super friendly and attentive. We drank rosé wine, prosecco, children's spritzer - and our dog was also treated to a bowl of water. For dinner there was tomato soup with wonderful homemade bread, pizza calabrese (very spicy but really tasty!), pizza prosciutto, pizza margherita and gnocchi. The pizzas were huge and tasted great. Conclusion: Online reservation, food, service and atmosphere – all great! Child and dog friendly. We'd love to come back!

So sry but it doesn't work at all. We ordered food to be picked up and my friend was then allowed to wait half an hour after the pick up time until it was ready. Nobody felt responsible and when they asked for a voucher as compensation, they were offered an espresso on the way home. What a shame 😂 The food was also really bad, the salad was unbelievably poor value for money and the pizza was cold and instead of half/half the topping was 3/4 to 1/4 🤣 sry guys, but you really missed that. You won't see us again.

Great restaurant, if you were lucky you could get a table for six people at short notice. Pizza is huge and can be ordered with two toppings. Price is okay. Service as it should be, nice and professional.
