Huge pizzas. Ultra-thin crust, not super loaded, but they were good. The service was adequate but quick. Atmosphere: a magnificent restaurant! Trendy, stylish, classy! And we were served at 11:50 PM!!!

We ate there on Friday, October 31, 2025. The ambiance is quite nice. The benches are comfortable, but unfortunately, the wooden chairs have no cushions or pillows. It's a relaxing dining experience. However, due to the numerous other guests, it was quite noisy. Regarding the food: We ordered pizza. We didn't have a measuring tape with us, but it probably reached the advertised 45 cm. The 45 cm size is achieved by rolling the dough out very, very thinly. This, combined with the fact that the pizza is served on a cold plate, unfortunately means that the pizza cools down very quickly, and you can't even eat half of it while it's still warm. The pizza has a sufficient and well-balanced topping, and the taste is decent. We would come back, as we were quite satisfied.

We went for pizza on Sunday afternoon. It was delicious. Despite the restaurant being full, our food arrived quickly. The staff were very friendly and efficient, keep it up! It's also nice that you can watch them making the pizzas. The music could be a little quieter for my taste 😉

We went to L'Osteria today and were absolutely thrilled! The food was fantastic – as usual, the best pizza in town, but the other dishes we tried were also delicious and freshly prepared. A real treat! We would especially like to highlight the service: Our server was incredibly kind, attentive, and courteous. We immediately felt welcome and at ease. Thank you for the great Italian atmosphere and the wonderful evening! We will definitely be back soon.

We were at L'Osteria Trier in the Posthof on a Friday evening, and the restaurant seemed to be completely booked – yet we only had to wait 4-5 minutes at the bar to get a table. The pizzas were simply perfect – large, delicious, and exactly to our taste. Especially for someone like me who loves large pizzas, they were an absolute dream! The Aperol Spritz was also excellent and rounded off the evening perfectly. The ambiance is pleasant, lively, and cozy at the same time – you immediately feel welcome. Combined with the friendly service, it was an all-round successful experience. Highly recommended!

At 9:00 PM, we were only given a small, like a side table, even though tables became available and we asked several times. The reason: we didn't have a reservation.

Great atmosphere, attentive staff, perfect cocktails. For my taste, the pizza could have taken a minute longer, but that's a matter of taste. Although the tables are close together, normal conversation is no problem. The music 🎶 playing in the background puts you in a good mood.

Wednesday evening, it was packed. Thanks to a reservation, seating wasn't a problem. Friendly staff, good pizza, which you can also order half/half with different toppings. The Aperol/passion fruit starter was good, but a bit pricey. The pizza in the picture was OK at just under €19.

The pizza was very tasty, and the service was pleasant and friendly. However, when ordering drinks, they could ask customers whether they wanted a regular or large drink, instead of simply bringing the same size glasses. It would also be nice to point out to non-locals that the pizzas are 45cm in diameter, instead of presenting them to a boy who couldn't even begin to finish them. The wait time, at almost an hour, was also above average, despite the lack of business. A little more conversation, instead of just talking about business, would have been great.

It's just an L'Osteria. You know what you're getting, whether it's pizza or pasta. Generally friendly service and a typical L'Osteria atmosphere. It's also very loud.

Hi, the food is delicious, the pizzas are huge. In the past, the wait times were a bit long, or the dishes came out at different times, but that's improved a lot, so I'm giving it full marks now.

Not recommended. On a Saturday night, you'll wait at least two hours for your food. Service is completely overwhelmed.

The pizza was way too big and was cold after half the meal. Very busy customers. The staff were very short-tempered.

I've eaten at the Losteria in Trier several times, and the food has always been excellent. Regardless of whether there are many or just a few customers, you're always treated in a friendly and courteous manner, just as every guest feels at home! The pizzas are simply enormous and always taste top-notch. Whenever I'm in the area again, the Losteria will be a welcome restaurant. See you soon 😁👍👍👍

L'Osteria in Trier is located in the quiet Posthof courtyard, away from the busy shopping street, and invites you to linger and cool off even on hot days. The dishes are, as you would expect from this establishment, delicious, reasonably priced, and plentiful. The service was excellent, and the decor of the dining room is very inviting and cozy. Thank you, we would love to come back.

We've been to L'Osteria several times and are always impressed. Huge, crispy pizzas, fresh pasta, and a lively, cozy atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and attentive, no matter how busy it is. The value for money is good, and the quality is consistently top-notch. For us, it's one of the best spots for Italian food – we're always happy to come back!

My server was absolutely on the ball. She managed the entire outdoor area single-handedly. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My meal was delicious. I had the gnocchi with shrimp 🍤 highly recommended.

Staying at the Ibis hotel, I smelled the wonderful aromas of this restaurant every day. I finally gave in and went there for a pizza, what a delight! It was very large, I couldn't finish it, it was a shame :-( Apart from that, and the smell of cigarettes coming in from outside through the open windows, it was a very good evening! I recommend this restaurant!

I was actually really looking forward to the pizza. Unfortunately, it was too burnt. But the company said this is normal and nothing could be done about it. Unfortunately, he was also unfriendly. It's a real shame. Not satisfactory. 😔 The location was nice.

Unfortunately, this place has to be given one star... I ate there with my sister yesterday... First, we were given dirty cutlery, for which the waiter didn't even apologize... Then, at some point, our pizza arrived at the table... completely burnt... When we were paying, we pointed this out to the waiter, and he said it was our own fault for not saying so... The waiter came to our table three times because we hadn't ordered anything to drink, which is absolutely outrageous considering a glass of Coke costs around €6... We will definitely avoid this place... All these positive reviews are completely incomprehensible...

The food isn't bad, but the flavor could be improved a bit, considering the price and quantity. The pizzas are large, but there's not enough toppings for the size. First-class! 💎 It couldn't be better. We had dinner at L'Osteria Trier on August 17, 2025, after initially searching for it without success, as it's quite hidden. We and our little dachshund were greeted by the very friendly manager. The service was also very prompt and incredibly kind, as I later discovered... When a wasp suddenly stung me right under my left eye while I was eating, the staff took care of me with genuine concern and care. I immediately received a freshly chopped onion and enough ice cubes to effectively counteract the swelling. Upon request, the manager even gave me a free spaghetti ice cream because, in his opinion, this ice cream would also help and provide a distraction. 😋 It did indeed - thank you so much! I would have loved to thank him personally for this, but unfortunately, I didn't see him again afterward. So, this is one of the ways I got there. Thanks also to the amazing team who took such good care of me. 👍

I had a pizza rustica and mezzalune pasta here. The pasta was delicious, well-seasoned, with a rich sauce and filling. The pizza was large but subpar in terms of flavor. The dough was dry and flavorless, as was the cheese. The olives were of poor quality.

I ordered pizza there once and salad another time. The restaurant is always almost full and popular. The food is okay for my taste. Pizza tasted better than salad. Most of the employees are polite.

Well, L'Osteria created a hype years ago. But why? Two years ago I ate salad here. It was very fresh and delicious. Pizza today with two guests and it was mediocre. I took leftovers with me and gave them away on the street. So pizza is no longer here for me.

Anyone who enjoys pizza will definitely get their money's worth here! The pizzas are huge and incredibly delicious. There are many variations to choose from – but creating your own is also easily possible. The price-performance ratio is absolutely perfect. There's also a delicious selection of pasta. The ambiance at the Posthof is fantastic. Especially when it gets dark and the lights come on, the seating is really nice and cozy. Sure, it's not quiet – but for us with a toddler, that's not necessary. However, you feel very welcome with your child. The service has always been very courteous and friendly, but not intrusive. In short – everything is TOP-notch – 5 stars

Gigantic pizzas 😍 Two days of eating.

It was very busy that day, it must be said. The food was, as always, impeccable, typical of L'Osteria. However, the waiters were a bit hectic among themselves.

Had a fantastic pizza here, it didn't fit on my plate, haha! I would definitely eat here again.

The food is fresh and delicious, but the pizzas could be smaller, but with more toppings. If you're looking for something romantic for two, this is the place. 😏

A very nice and rustic restaurant that can easily accommodate larger groups with short wait times. The food was delicious, with reasonable portions and large pizzas. The prices are absolutely justified for the taste and size. The Coke seems to be made with syrup, but to deduct a star for that would be a huge nitpick. The service was also very friendly and quick. Definitely recommended.
