Finally an Italian who...
... Knows how to serve his guests
... Knows when to ask the guest
... makes pizza
...satisfies customers
I can really recommend this type of shop to anyone for an Italian flair.
The only request would be to make the feeling better: play Italian music and you would be completely happy with that.
To properly celebrate a family birthday, I reserved four seats at Minneci's La Palma restaurant for Saturday evening.
Mr. Minneci greeted us warmly and assigned us a table. After taking our jackets, we sat down and were handed our menus. The table was set with a tablecloth and decorated with a fresh rose and a lit candle.
A few minutes later, Mr. Minneci took the drinks and food:
Appetizers:
2 x Antipasto Misto (each for 2 people)
Main Course:
1 x Paccheri with tomato cream, burrata cheese, and pistachios
1 x Swordfish fillet with capers in lemon sauce, vegetables of the day, and potatoes
1 x Tuna fillet with pistachio crust in tomato sauce with caramelized Tropea onions, zucchini, and mashed potatoes
1 x Skrei winter cod on fennel with saffron sauce and porcini mushroom risotto
Dessert
2 x Chocolate Soufflé with vanilla ice cream
1 x Chocolate and almond cake from Capri with vanilla sauce
1 x Tiramisu (mascarpone cream slice)
Drinks
1 x Wheat Beer
1 x Spezi
1 x Montepulciano
1 x Tea
The appetizer plates were arranged so that two people could share each one. Each person received their own plate.
On them were all sorts of sliced vegetables, lightly marinated in vinaigrette. The tomato slice was topped with a mozzarella ball. A basket of fresh, crusty bread was served with it. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and a pepper mill were also provided. A delight.
A few minutes later, the main courses were served.
Visually appealing and fragrant. The skrei and swordfish were tender and juicy, the tuna still slightly pink and just as tender and juicy. For my taste, it could have been even pinker. The side dishes were also excellently balanced and tempered.
The paccheri with tomato cream, burrata cheese, and pistachios were also beyond reproach.
Everyone had extremely satisfied faces.
As expected, the desserts were also completely convincing.
A digestif (on the house) was then served. We all chose the limoncello. It came in a small, slightly bulbous glass with two ice cubes.
The bill came to €202.30. A lot of money for a lot of enjoyment.
We enjoyed every cent.
Super friendly and courteous service. Comprehensive menu and many additional daily recommendations. Nice and suitable range of drinks. Real recommendation if you want good, cozy Italian food in Roth.
We were there last week and had a very good meal. The price/performance ratio was excellent. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that our table was full of empty plates for a long time and that no one took care of it. From what we saw, the staff were only standing at the bar and on their phones; I would have appreciated a bit more attention. I think that's a real shame.
After the owner commented, it was a woman with long black hair. Best regards, Priller.
Were there again today for dinner. The Rigatoni Boscaiola from the oven was great! The food also arrived quickly in about 25 minutes. The espresso at the end took a little longer, but everything else was fine.
Ein sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant. Die Besitzerin ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Personal sehr freundlich und gut geschult. Das Menü war sehr gut zusammen gestellt. Die glutenfreie Variante war hervorragend.
Top-of-the-line decor isn't important to me – if the food is amazingly fresh, the service is incredibly friendly, and you feel completely at home, I'll be fine.
THANK YOU for the lovely, delicious evening.
Great Italian restaurant. I had pear and cheese pasta ==> world class. My wife had gluten-free rigatoni and minimal beef fillet cubes (max. 30-40 g). Way too old!!! The reason given was "gluten-free" - but the cook should know that such noodles need 2-3 minutes longer - unfortunately too bad. Still coming back.
It's about the price. The extra charge for gluten-free alternatives is really a disgrace. I've always loved coming here, but now a pasta dish costs €3.50 more (a whole pack of pasta doesn't even cost that much) and pizza costs almost €5 more... that's really too much and my reason for not coming anymore.
Very unfortunate and very sad. Especially since gluten-free food is usually needed because of an illness and not for fun.
The high quality of cuisine and service has remained unchanged for years! An absolute recommendation for anyone who appreciates good, fresh cuisine and friendly service with passion!
