A lovely and cozy restaurant with an old wooden floor and plenty of seating. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the food comes quickly, is very good (I had lamb schnitzel), plentiful, and reasonably priced. I will definitely eat here next time I'm in Würzburg, which will be more often in the future.

Delicious and authentic cuisine with a great outdoor seating area. Despite the busy times, service was always courteous and regularly checked in. Highly recommended :-)

We attended Assmanns Bammes for a family celebration with 30 people. The friendly and competent advice beforehand was a positive experience. Our guests and we were thrilled by the great atmosphere and attentive service. The food even impressed the gourmets present. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation.

Long-established restaurant in the north of the center of Nuremberg. Very good and tasty food, decent portions. Very friendly innkeepers. Small beer garden in front of the house. Reservation recommended. Worth a visit.

The food was okay overall — nothing particularly special. The currywurst earns a solid 7/10. The sausage was quite good, and the sauce added a nice touch, but the fries were bland and lacked seasoning. The cheese spaetzle, while visually appealing with its grilled topping, lacked depth of flavor. I'd give it a 5,5/10.

As far as I know, the owner will change from 2025.

ich bin neu nach Dettelbach umgezogen und wollte diese Restaurant mal probieren. Wir waren beim ersten Mal da Wir hatten auch davor angerufen gehabt und wo wir in Restaurant getreten sind so etwa um 21:30Uhr abends Hat der Chef selber mit seine eigene Wörter gesagt, dass ich der Chef bin hier und wir keine Essen mehr machen also unfreundlich hat er uns begrüßt obwohl da bis 22:00 Uhr geöffnet stand und wir davor angerufen gehabt und nachgefragt gehabt nie wieder !nicht weiter empfehlen !

A very cozy beer garden with lots of shaded areas. The food was very good. Schnitzel with fries and salad for 15.90 is comparatively too high for Upper Franconia, given the small portion size and self-service. The beer selection is unfortunately small, but it tastes excellent. Negative points are the traffic noise and the long waiting time at the beer bar, which doesn't always seem to be staffed.

A very nice beer garden. A great location on the water, shady on hot days, close to the center. The beer is typically Franconian. The various beer specialties are highly recommended.

As my steak was medium rare, as i wished, thats why 2. Otherwise absolut worst. Half of the menu is not available to serve. The waiter(could also be founder) was rude, not interested to serve!! He saw me that i want to order something, just ignored and went out for a smoke and never came. He also misbehaved with fellow guests. As I also speak fluent german, i could also hear some offensive words against us, which he exchanged with other customer, who seemed to be a regular. P.s. the waiter was ALSO a non german!! So to summarise, DONT GO! Absolute waste of everything.
