Assmanns Bammes in Nürnberg

Food is good but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right at all. Starter tartar manageable for 20€, dessert 2 small scoops of vanilla ice cream with raspberries 10€. Flatbread soup 8€. Restaurant on Saturday evening only 2 tables occupied. The relationship is simply not correct. But really nice service and tasted good.

Table reserved for 1:30 p.m. We were finally able to sit down at 2:15 p.m. Not a word of apology. Just stress. If you offer lunch in two shifts on the second holiday, you should also have that under control. But if 40 guests are waiting to be seated, you don't have to be surprised that the Christmas mood changes. A small gesture would have been enough to relax the whole thing. But it wasn't. A no go for a restaurant with this price level. It's a shame, we won't be guests any more soon. Food was good. However, it was after 3 p.m. and after 4 p.m. with dessert. Too late for lunch.

Reserved for 1:30 p.m. on Christmas Day. Unfortunately we (12 people) had to wait over half an hour for our table and stood in the way as ordered and not picked up. We had lunch at 3 p.m. :-( Not a word of regret, just a “it just went a little wrong”. Food was good, you can't complain about that, but the organization still needs to be worked on (which in my opinion is the case with the... prices would actually be expected)

We were very disappointed with the food 😞 - carelessly prepared - the taste was off - a sauce for the goose (€33) that was reminiscent of ready-made sauce - the red cabbage had no taste on the plate in the scary sauce... roulades were inedible with also a bad sauce. Very disappointing for a restaurant in this price range.

We celebrated our wedding at Assmanns Bammes in September 2024 and were completely satisfied. Starting with the detailed and competent advice on site, we felt comfortable with our decision right from the start. We and all our guests were thrilled with the food; the restaurant uses very high quality regional products. When it came to the selection, each of our guests could find something and there was enough of everything. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the day even more enjoyable. We were able to design the hall so that the ambience was perfect for us. With 65 guests, including some children, we had enough space and were also able to create a sufficiently large dance floor. We also had the side room "Zirbelstube" with us, which offered a great place for a buffet and photo box. All in all, the price-performance ratio was definitely right and we can warmly recommend Assmanns Bammes.

I celebrated my birthday at "Bammes" and was very satisfied. I celebrated in the hall and was given competent advice in advance on how to plan the event. The celebration itself was to my complete satisfaction in terms of service and food. The service was attentive and courteous throughout the evening. My guests and I had a very successful evening and I can fully recommend the “Bammes”.

Everything OK. and in the rush it can happen that something happens. The restaurant was very busy, the service was still very friendly and the food order was still quick. However, the sauce for the roulade was mixed up and served with the sauerbraten sauce. They didn't believe me and offered 2 sauces to try. Of course I was also able to prove the difference with the photo of the food. The sweet/sour sauerbraten sauce with a slight gingerbread flavor was good, but wrong. The roulade sauce was almost a little too salty. The red cabbage also lacked the slightly sweet/sour taste that actually belongs to it. To my taste. It didn't hurt, but a small deduction. People didn't believe me about the sauce. Maybe you can tell from the photo?

More than disappointing!! The Retaurant Bammes in Buch near Nuremberg is no longer what it once was. Saturday at 6:30 p.m., it was surprisingly very well attended. When ordering food, several items were no longer available at this time. Our friends decided on Schäufele, our wishes no longer existed, so we had to change our minds. However, before we could place our order, the rest of the table had already been served their dishes. We finally ordered the goose for €33 and a dumpling with extra sauce, with the note that we would also get goose roast sauce with it. What came was more of an imposition. The sauce on both the goose plate and the toilet with sauce was the same as for roast pork and had nothing to do with goose. The piece of goose as such was without freshly roasted skin, collapsed and dry with no taste, which indicates that it had been heated several times. When asked if it tasted good, I answered honestly. The service then responded in an unfriendly manner. It's a shame, I won't recommend this restaurant anymore.

I made a reservation online the day before. They didn't even bother to answer. When the time came we went to Bratwurst Rösslein and everything was wonderful.

On Saturday, November 30th, 2024, our department celebrated its Christmas party at Assmanns Bammes. Over 130 people accepted our invitation and were able to spend a beautiful, stylish evening at Assmanns Bammes. We had ordered a choice of three dishes for each guest and were able to hand out color cards at the entrance, which were provided to us by the restaurant. This meant that the service was able to bring the food to the table quickly and warmly and without much demand. The starter soup and the food (Schäufele, sauerbraten and spinach-ricotta ravioli) were delicious, as were the wines on offer. The service was very quick and courteous throughout the evening. A plus point of the Assmanns Bammes for large events (company celebrations or family celebrations) is, in addition to the large hall, the parking lot behind the hall and the large lawn with enough space for all other vehicles. There are even free parking spaces on the street in front of the restaurant. There is also a connection to public transport (bus stops directly in front of the restaurant and S-Bahn nearby).

Very good for a Sunday lunch - the duck and the schaufele were delicious and large portion sizes. Staff were also nice :)

After a trip we had lunch in a cozy room. The service was good, the young waiters were very friendly. But in my opinion the food still has a lot of potential, a schnitzel for 20 euros that tastes like nothing and even the Schäufele could have more pep. I won't come back with my family because the overall package isn't right.

We were there last week to celebrate our wedding in a small group (14 people). A menu was agreed upon in advance with two main course options. We were also given very good advice; we certainly wouldn't have thought of everything on our own. 😅 Overall there was a very fair price/head + drinks à la carte. Of course, we also asked other restaurants/locations and sometimes we would have paid twice as much. The service staff was super friendly and quick. Even our dog was immediately given a bowl of water. 😁 The room was the perfect size and we had access to the terrace. We as the bride and groom, but also our guests, are sure that we couldn't have chosen a better location. Thanks again to the entire team for taking care of us on our special day and for leaving nothing to be desired.

Delicious, high-quality Franconian food in a cozy but rather dark atmosphere. Been here several times and it has always tasted excellent. Prices are a bit high, but the quality and portion size are also good.

A nice place to just relax. With a good red wine, served by the extremely charming and classy Andrea, and a hearty onion roast, courageously prepared by the chef de cuisine himself. Only the prices are enormous, but that must be because of the poor restaurateurs.

Now we're no longer surprised that there was so little going on. The food is overpriced and you're annoyed for what you get. I ordered a beef roulade, which is usually served with red cabbage. For a “small extra charge” you can get a side salad instead. (This normally costs €7!!!) The roulade came lukewarm, tasted ok, nothing special. Unfortunately the dumpling was inedible because it was cold and soggy. When the bill came I was given a small surcharge: €5!!! charged for a tiny side salad that contained a few leaves and mini pieces of tomatoes, the value of which was a maximum of €2.90. I'm still shocked that I paid €26 for a mediocre meal. Where do they charge €5 extra for a side salad? My companion's meal of chanterelles with meat cakes was ok, but unfortunately only lukewarm. We were very disappointed because the price/performance ratio was absolutely not right here and we cannot therefore recommend the restaurant.

In a house of this class I would have thought that there would be sophisticated dishes. The schnitzel doesn't necessarily taste like pan schnitzel looked and tasted. Portions are plentiful, but like in other Franconian inns. The menu was disappointing for vegans and vegetarians. In my opinion the prices are set too high.

We were invited to celebrate a birthday here. We had a pleasant time in Bammes with typical Franconian dishes and friendly service. There are enough parking spaces and the price-performance ratio is good. Thanks to the whole team.

Tisch für 18:45 Uhr reserviert. Mussten gut 20 Minuten warten bis wir bestellen konnten. Essen kam dann nach 20:15 Uhr, da würde man schon gerne wieder gehen. Preise gehoben, das Essen gut, wobei der Döner aus der Dönerbude auch gut ist. Alles in allem enttäuschend. Wer bei den großen mitspielen möchte muss auch entsprechende Qualität liefern. Ich weiß noch nicht wo wir das nächste Mal hingehen aber ich weiß, wo wir bestimmt nicht mehr hingehen.

A very cozy place, perfect to taste 100% German food, the food and service were exquisite and in relation to quality-price it was also super good, it is undoubtedly a place that I know I would return to.

Overall the food was good. However, as a vegetarian you don't really get your money's worth, as there is only one vegetarian main course on the menu, which, strictly speaking, isn't even vegetarian. When asked, nothing else could be prepared, so we had to resort to side dishes. I think it's no longer up-to-date these days, especially in a higher-priced area...

We were in the restaurant with 6 people in mid-February. The ambience is positive and our small dog was also welcome. Unfortunately, it must be noted negatively that one guest was vegan and this was also stated when making the reservation, but was not taken into account, a shame. The candle at the table was not lit either... yes, all small things, but this restaurant is in the upper price segment, because I expect a little more service. I wanted to offer my guests something special for their birthday party. Unfortunately I was disappointed.

The waitress forgot orders several times. The food was okay, but nothing outstanding. 18€ for a liter of hot water with 3 tea bags is simply outrageous.

The dishes weren't bad but the portions of the side dishes or starters were very, very small! Starters salad was maybe 50 grams for €7.50, a very small bowl of soup for about €11. The service was very bad and unfriendly, here you don't feel like a guest but like a supplicant!

Die Gerichte waren nicht schlecht aber die Portionen der Beilagen oder der Vorspeisen waren sehr sehr klein! Vorspeisen Salat war vielleicht 50 Gramm für 7,50 €, eine sehr kleine Schale Suppe für ca. 11 €. Der Service war sehr schlecht und unfreundlich, hier fühlt man sich nicht als Gast sondern als Bittsteller!

Das Essen war nicht wie erwartet und Preis-Leistung Stimmen leider überhaupt nicht.

Great service with friendly staff - from reservation to farewell. The food was also TOP (Schäufele, Sauerbraten, Wiener Schnitzel, Schnitzel). Tiny downside: Child orders children's schnitzel with fries -> 11 EURO - adult also orders children's schnitzel with potato salad, is then referred to by the staff as a senior's plate and costs 5 EURO more...

Food at Christmas was really good, not exactly cheap, but you know that and it's worth it. Small menu, which I always think is great, that means everything is fresh and on the table really quickly, as here. We had zander and goose, both great. Portions so that you are full, but not completely filled. I only saw the starter salad, but it also looked delicious. The ambience in the large hall downstairs was okay, but not super comfortable. If you want something more comfortable, you have to ask for another room or go to the Alte Post. Service super friendly and fast, We'll definitely go back

Wir waren am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag abends zu Gast. Der Service war herausragend, obwohl das Lokal quasi ausgebucht war. Auch die Speisen waren sehr lecker! Vielen Dank für den gelungenen Abend, wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Sehr gutes Essen von der Vorspeise bis zur Nachspeise. Ich hatte den Feldsalat, Hirsch und Apfelküchle. Das lärmende Baby wurde gut aufgenommen und für die Hunde sofort Wasser bereitgestellt. Es gab einen liebevoll dekorierten Wickeltisch- leider außerhalb der Toiletten und ohne Abfalleimer. Im ganzen aber ein schöner gelungener Abend ! Bin gerne wieder Gast !

Unmöglich die weibliche Servicekraft Waren mit Gästen dort wollten uns einen schönen Abend machen sind aber noch bevor die Getränke kamen aufgestanden und gegangen . Dort ist auf alle Fälle der Kunde kein König . Man muss sich heutzutage nicht mehr alles bieten lassen schließlich wird einen auch viel Geld aus der Hosentasche gezogen .

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant! Bereits im Eingangsbereich wurden wir freundlich, begrüsst und an unseren Platz gebracht. Auch im weiteren Verlauf unseres Besuchs genossen wir einen super Service! Die Speisen Auswahl ist sehr abwechslungsreich und überzeugte uns durch die gute Qualität und den Geschmack! Da bei mir zu einem guten Essen auch ein guter Wein. Dazu gehört war ich sehr zufrieden mit der Auswahl und der Empfehlung des Hauses. Alles in Allem sensationell, wir kommen gerne wieder!

War heute mal wieder beim Bammes und war sehr enttäuscht. Die Servicekraft forsch , frech einfach nur unmöglich. Haben uns dann entschlossen aufzustehen und das Lokal mit meinen Anhang zu verlassen. Bin dann zum Landgasthof Wirth nach Neuhaus/Adelsdorf gefahren dort ist Kunde noch König . Essen , Service , Ambiente alles 1A . Ich empfehle der Servicekraft beim Bammes mal den Landgasthof Wirth aufzusuchen damit Sie sieht wie man den Job richtig macht. Uns sieht der Bammes so schnell nicht mehr . Man kann sich für die weibliche Servicekraft dort nur Fremd schämen . Speisen konnte ich nicht Bewerten da wir dort ja nichts gegessen haben da ich aber aus der Vergangenheit immer gut gespeist habe gibt es 4 Sterne für das Essen .

Dieses Gasthaus ist definitiv zu empfehlen! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, die Bedienungen sind auf Zack und die Küche einfach spitzenmäßig. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass sich auch um das Wohlergehen unseres Hundes gekümmert wurde, ein gefüllter Wassernapf wurde sofort und ungefragt zur Verfügung gestellt. Insgesamt war es ein schöner Aufenthalt unter gemütlicher und familiärer Atmosphäre - Wir kommen bald wieder :-)

Gemütliches Gasthaus. Essen war ok. Leider waren die Steinpilze bereits um 18 Uhr knapp, wie uns die Bedienung mitteilte. Im Nebenzimmer saßen wir mit der Familie sehr schön. Leider waren im Laufe des Abends auch die neben Tische belegt und es wurde sehr laut. Das trübte leider den Abend.

Leider fühlt sich niemand angesprochen die Speisekarte aktuell zuhalten. Weder auf der Homepage noch auf Facebook ist eine aktuelle Speisekarte drin. Ich weiß auch nie wie lange diese gültig ist

Wir haben zuvor ein Menü ausgewählt, die Qualität der Speisen ( Schäufele, Rehrücken, ein ganz tolles Fischgericht und zwei vegetarische Gerichte zur Auswahl) und Getränke waren ausgezeichnet. Speziell die Weine wurden von allen Gästen sehr gelobt. Der Service war sehr gut und zuvorkommend. Alle meine Gäste haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich werde bei ähnlichen Gelegenheiten sehr gern wieder zu Aßmanns Bammes kommen.

Wir waren sieben Personen und alle waren sehr zufrieden mit ihren Speisen, egal ob Vorspeise, Hauptgericht oder Dessert. Das hat mich als deren Gastgeberin natürlich sehr gefreut. Außerdem möchte ich hervorheben, dass das Serviceteam, das uns betreut hat, außergewöhnlich freundlich war. Unter anderem hat mir unsere Bedienung Andrea zu einem vorzüglichen Aperitiv geraten, den ich bisher nicht kannte und der sehr erfrischend war. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen deshalb ganz sicher wieder! Vielen Dank für die sehr gute Bewirtung!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, auf allen Ebenen!. Das Essen von uns sieben Personen hat jedem einzelnen sehr gut geschmeckt, die Vorspeisen wie auch die Hauptgerichte und die Desserts. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, umsichtig und konnte uns auch bei der Getränkeauswahl sehr gut beraten! Wir kommen sicher sehr gerne wieder!
