Gasthof Zur Zeitenwende in Nürnberg

Hallo Gestern Abend war ich bei der Zeitwende wollte ich was essen um ca. 18 Uhr 10, habe ich mir Biergarten hingesetzt nach ca. 5 Minuten kommt die Chefin sagt zu mir sorry wir haben Annahme Stopp. Begründung mein Mann ist in der Küche alleine und bei 50 grad arbeiten muss, ich war Sprachlos.😮 Ich werde nimmer in den lokal gehen.

Nettes Restaurant mit guter Küche und freundlichem Service. Eine Terrasse mit Sonnenschirmen gibt es auch

Mit einer größeren Gruppen, sehr viel Geld da gelassen. Das Essen war gut , der Service allerdings unterirdisch. Beide Bedienungen waren sehr unverschämt. Man hat sich einfach nicht Willkommen gefühlt. Schade, da ich das Essen immer sehr geschätzt habe. Leider klar keine Empfehlung aufgrund des Service.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und vorallem sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Die Portion Schäufele mit Knödel war riesig und super lecker! Das Essen für Kinder (Pommes und Chicken Nuggets mit Pommes) waren ebenfalls richtig lecker. Preis Leistung war einwandfrei. Hatten Glück und haben ohne Reservierung gleich einen Tisch bekommen. Daher Reservierung von Vorteil.

Laut. Nur Barzahlung möglich. Das Essen war hervorragend, der Service in Ordnung. *Nachtrag nach Antwort des Inhabers: Ich vergebe nicht nur einen Stern, sondern drei. Entschuldigung. Fünf Sterne fürs Essen, zwei Sterne für den Service und ein Stern für das Ambiente.

Wenn man sich in einem Gasthaus wirklich als Gast fühlt, wurde wohl alles RICHTIG gemacht. Nette Bedienung, sehr gute,leckere Küchenangebote, schöne Räumlichkeiten... was will man Mehr ??? Danke und bis bald mal wieder 👍👌🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Hervorragendes Essen, Karpfen und Sauerbraten sind ein echtes Highlight. Große Portionen, lecker Salat. Apfelküchle sehr zu empfehlen. Es war so toll

Waren am Samstag dort zum Mittagessen, haben uns Schnitzel bestellt. War spitze, kann ich nur sehr gerne weiter empfehlen! Werden in Zukunft öfters hier her kommen! Bedienung war sehr sehr nett und höflich und das Ambiente war sehr gemütlich.

Wir waren heute hier zum essen. Wir hatten reserviert. Essen war super, die Portionen groß. Man bekommt auch angeboten, dass was man nicht schafft, mit nach hause zu nehmen. Bei Ambiente gab es keine 5 Sterne, was aber nicht am Ambiente selbst lag. Es war für mich leider einen Ticken zu laut, dass war es aber auch schon. Wir waren heute alle völlig zufrieden und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Gemütliches Lokal. Chefin super nett, Service okay. Puszta Spieß leider trocken, ohne Sauce oder Dip, nur bisschen Kräuterbutter. Meerrettichsauce bei Tafelspitz bezieht sich nicht wirklich auf Meerrettich. Karpfen und Schnitzel war okay. Steirisches Backhendl: Panade war gut, Fleisch ohne Gewürze

Wir waren heute auf Durchreise in Nürnberg . Auf Empfehlung hielten wir hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht . So oft sind wir nicht in Franken also gab es Schäufele , und was soll ich sagen es war ein Traum . Portion sehr groß und sehr lecker . Es ist eine kleine urige Wirtschaft was ich persönlich sehr ansprechend finde . Die Bedienung war sehr nett . Absolute Empfehlung und wenn ich mal wieder in der Nähe bin schau ich wieder vorbei . Preis Leistung absolut in Ordnung .

We had lunch at the Gasthaus Zeitenwende today, November 9th, 2025. The food was very good and plentiful. The price was reasonable. The service was quick and friendly. We can highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back. Franz Schießl

We went to Zeitenwende for the first time today to pick up carp. We had to wait a few minutes (we were early) and were able to see the other guests' food and what was coming out of the kitchen. What can I say? It was fantastic! It looked beautiful and smelled wonderful. All the other guests said it was very good. The staff was extremely friendly and immediately offered us a place to wait. After a few moments, the carp were ready and brought to our table. Everything was very well packaged and wrapped in aluminum foil to keep it warm. At home, we tested it. The fish was amazing. Well-seasoned and still piping hot. Not greasy and tender. The salad was very large and also perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the great food. P.S. I almost forgot to mention one thing. The restaurant and the area in front of it were exceptionally clean!

Dear unpleasant boss, I was neither thrown out by you, nor did I tell you to SHUT UP! Please don't write lies here! The fact is, you are a very unpleasant person! The puppy was six weeks old! I wasn't even allowed to hold him on my lap! If you had pointed this out to me politely, I wouldn't have said anything! But here's the thing... you didn't! You are so incredibly unfriendly, many of your guests say so! And the claim that guests interfered in our conversation is simply untrue! I am self-employed myself and would never behave the way you did! I was a paying customer, nothing more and nothing less! Work on yourself and don't recommend your establishment to anyone else! I've lived in Eibach for quite some time now and had never been here before. I don't know why. The Bavarian-style cordon bleu was excellent. The fries were crispy and perfectly salty. The goulash was also very tasty. I'll be back. I promise.

Very good Franconian cuisine, but reservations are recommended. The portions are very generous. We had the pepper knuckle and the cordon bleu and were very satisfied.

The chef was ill, so things were a bit chaotic in the kitchen. Everyone tried hard to satisfy the guests anyway. I had a good carp, but would have preferred the dumpling variations to the vegetarian dish. Unfortunately, they serve them in beef broth...

We waited an hour for our food: shovel, schnitzel, and carp. The waitress didn't know how to say hello or "please" or "thank you." Criticism was rude. This was our first and last visit. I won't be recommending it to anyone.

I waited an hour for the food in a half-empty restaurant. The food was over-seasoned and had pre-made sauce. My first and last time here, and I definitely won't recommend it to our guests.

After hard business day we look fo nice restoran out of city center and we found on map this place. Easy to find, free parking, nice place with quick prepared food and perfect german beer.🍻🍖

A quaint German restaurant with delicious food – the Schäuferla (a kind of dumpling) and dumplings were almost perfect. I just found the sauce a bit too thick. The fries were also very good. I'd definitely go back!

We haven't been here in a while. The food is still as good as ever. Nevertheless, times have been tough. The manager was all alone with the chef, the restaurant was busy, and yet things still went relatively quickly. We'd love to come back.

We were satisfied with the food. The service outside was rude. Instead of a greeting, I received a rude, aggressive "what's going on here?" after I dared to open the parasol.

A charming little restaurant with delicious Franconian cuisine. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. We opted for the Sauerbraten – the sauce alone is a real highlight and deserves high praise from the kitchen (be sure to ask for a spoonful!). We also had a Wiener Schnitzel, freshly pounded and a delicious treat. Both dishes were served quickly and freshly. This was already our second visit, and we are completely satisfied. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

NO MORE!!! Four of us were dining in the garden and we all ordered the same dish: Cordon Bleu with fries. My friend's portion of fries was significantly smaller than the rest of us. He politely pointed this out to the waitress and asked for a bit more. The plate was then taken back to the kitchen, he got it back, and he was told to get started, and the fries would be brought right away. They did arrive – everything was fine. When he paid, however, an extra portion of fries suddenly appeared on his bill. When he asked about it, the waitress reacted somewhat rudely and finally called the manager. Instead of showing understanding, he treated us with complete indifference. His argument: "I know how much fits in my hand" – as if we should have counted the fries. We've been going to this restaurant for many years, but after this incident, we no longer feel welcome as guests. When I expressed my disappointment, the host simply responded by slamming the table and saying, "Well, that's lucky." Conclusion: It's a shame, after so many visits, we, as long-time guests, were dismissed with disrespect. The food was okay, but with the host's attitude, it's clear to us: We won't be back.

I can't review the food because the lady at the counter, with a disgusted look on her face, thought for half an hour before letting me sit down without a reservation, so I left. Answer: It was 7:30 PM and people had their dishes ready on the tables, how could the kitchen be closed? And in any case, if it were true, it would have been enough to say so politely. Rude 😉

2022 war ich zweimal im Restaurant und mit dem Service und Essen sehr zufrieden und deshalb wollten wir das Erlebnis, zB der Salat mit Rindsfiletstreifen wiederholen. Aber welch eine Enttäuschung; Personal patzig, weil Sonntag nur die Tageskarte, Essen mässig - es scheint, dass das Restaurant die Kunden nicht mehr nötig hat. Heute der letzte Besuch!

This restaurant is highly recommended. We're here for the first time today and absolutely thrilled. Very friendly service and super delicious food, still made with love. Our 🐕 Sammy was also warmly welcomed, and we had a shady spot in the 🍺 garden. This won't be our last visit; we'll be back!

Das Essen wäre gut gewesen, aber es war eine sehr pampige und unfreundliche Chefin. Wir waren an unserem Tisch von der Sonne geblendet und fragten ob man den einen Sonnenschirm verschieben könnte, welcher dort stand wo er niemanden Schatten spendete. Die Antwort war sinngemäß: Der ist so und da bleibt er.

Twelve of us had a pleasant evening. Everyone was very pleased with the food. The service was also good—friendly and timely. We'll be back.

Outstandingly good food. A well-kept and lovingly decorated restaurant. In summer, you can sit outside. It's nicely secluded from the street. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, reservations for groups over 10 people are not accepted - on the grounds that the chef cannot accommodate this. I originally wanted to make a reservation for 14 people for my birthday. It would be possible to make reservations individually, but then we wouldn't be sitting at the same table together. The way the lady reacted on the phone gave me the impression that you obviously don't have to rely on guests - you scare them off in advance over the phone.

Unfriendly shop! We went in and just wanted to have a beer The waitress just shook his head and sent us out I won't leave my money there, you can communicate in a friendlier way.

We had lunch with 13 people. The food was very tasty, the service was very friendly. Everyone was happy. Gladly again!

Four of us were in the “Gasthof” on February 15, 2025. When we ordered around 6 p.m. there were no more baked potatoes. Even though we ordered the steaks "done" and the waitress asked again after about 5 minutes, the steaks were still bloody. Steak knives are generally unknown in the restaurant, or at least not available. When 2 of the 3 desserts on the menu were no longer in stock and we asked how something like this could happen early in the evening on a Saturday, we were told sharply by the boss that she had no way of knowing what the guests were ordering. As an example she gave: When we buy roast meat and the guests mainly order schnitzel, what should we do it with the roasts then? As a guest you should always first ask what the boss has bought. My serious question: If several items from the menu are no longer available early on a Saturday evening. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE ON SUNDAY?

Wir waren zu acht auf einer Geburtstagsfeier. Das Essen kann man durchaus empfehlen und auch das "Drumherum" ging ok 👍🏻 Was leider einen etwas bitteren Geschmack im Nachgang hinterlassen hat, war die etwas ruppige und teilweise als nicht kundenorientiert auszulegende Art von einer Servicemitarbeiterin. Hier besteht aus unserer Sicht noch etwas Potenzial zur Verbesserung. Man sollte als Gast nie das Gefühl bekommen, durch die Art und Weise die einem entgegengebracht wird, dass die Küche/der Service auf Anschlag läuft. Vielen Dank trotzdem für das durchaus leckere Essen.

Wir haben relativ kurzfristig noch einen Tisch in der Vorweihnachtszeit bekommen, was nicht in jedem Restaurant selbstverständlich ist. Der Service war zu Beginn etwas distanziert und wortkarg, das wurde aber im Laufe des Abends besser, als wir mehr die Initiative ergriffen haben. Das Essen war bei mir leider relativ trocken, aber nicht schlecht.

Wir hatten Freunde zu Gast und unsere Kids mit dabei. Die Rouladen waren frisch gemacht und sehr gut. Mein Kumpel hat sein erstes Schäuferla im Leben gegessen und war begeistert (Sauce sehr gut!!). Mein Karpfen war tip top (im vergleich zu früher war der Kartoffelsalat besser und insgesamt wirklich sehr gut). Die Kinder waren froh mit Schnitzel und Klos mit Soos. Das Bier war kalt, sehr guter Schnapps hinterher. Der Wirt freundlich und routiniert - sehr nett zu den Kindern. Wenn man gleich um 17:00h kommt braucht die Küche immer noch etwas, um auf Touren zu kommen; das Warten hat sich aber gelohnt. Wir fanden es sehr gut. Ein schöner Abend vor dem Gang zum Weihnachtsmarkt.

Unfortunately, the visit to this inn was a disappointment. The female service person was very unfriendly, which made the stay unpleasant. This is definitely not how you as a host should behave towards your guests. The food was OK, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the quality of the food couldn't save the overall impression. The atmosphere also left a lot to be desired, as the inn is neither cozy nor attractively furnished. Overall, it wasn't an experience I would recommend. It's a shame, as there would certainly be more potential with better service and nicer facilities.

Good Franconian cuisine at a fair price, atmospheric ambience, there is something for everyone on the menu. If you like good food, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The service was rude and seemed extremely annoyed. Instead of being friendly, the waitress seemed annoyed by our presence, which made the entire experience unpleasant. Even worse was the behavior of the waitress, who acted in a condescending manner. She spoke in a tone that was anything but professional and made us feel more like a nuisance than valued guests. Your unfriendly behavior had a very negative impact on the entire visit. Service and interaction with guests are crucial, and there is definitely a lot of room for improvement here. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant due to the bad experience

!**Incredibly unfriendly – ​​NEVER AGAIN!** We went to this restaurant with our company for a Christmas party. They knew about our reservation in advance, but the evening was a complete chaos. The restaurant wasn't even full, but there were only limited dishes from the already small menu - some dishes only had two portions! So no one could really order what they wanted. The service, especially one lady, was extremely unfriendly. My colleague wanted to order a portion of fries with his Schäuferle, but the lady refused and said he wouldn't get any. A colleague who is vegan politely asked what else was in the potato salad. The waitress's answer was simply: “Potatoes” – annoyed and stroppy. The question about the ingredients of the potato salad was to make sure if it was vegan. Towards the end things got even worse. Although according to Google the opening times were until 10 p.m., we were already signaled at 9 p.m. that we were not welcome. When we ordered another round of schnapps at 9:30 p.m., the waiter reacted annoyed. The unfriendly waitress finally said she “didn’t feel like working” until 1 a.m. because of us. When I pointed out that the opening hours were until 10 p.m., she actually called me stupid. Overall, the evening was a disaster: poor service, missing dishes and rude staff. I will definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone

The beer garden makes a good impression and seems like a nice place to spend time. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself couldn't convince me. The meat was OK, but the fries could have been a little more generous. Unfortunately the salad did not meet my expectations. The service was the biggest point of criticism: the behavior of the waitress was inappropriate and left a negative impression. There is definitely room for improvement here.
