Very cozy evening with colleagues

We went to the Taj Mahal for dinner yesterday. The service was very nice and friendly, we had reserved the table in advance. As a starter there was Nan bread with 3 different dips. Since we wanted to try different things, we chose number 44. (Tandoori grill plate) The waiting time for the food was pleasantly short. The food was ok, but the meat was way too dry. The cooking time was probably far exceeded here. The rice, vegetables and sauce were good.

Food very good. Friendly staff who are also very accommodating if you don't have a reservation.

Ordered food home. Unfortunately for €17.90 mango curry is far too watery and not enough. I expect more. There was hardly any chicken and mango in the curry. I basically ate soup with the rice (see picture). The dish really lacked pizzazz. Was very bland. Food was only lukewarm upon delivery.

Today we ordered through W. Lamb Curry and Cicken Tikka and this time we were very disappointed. We also placed an identical order on November 28th, 2024 and were very positively surprised at the time, it was excellent back then. However, this meal has nothing in common with what we had 3 months ago. It didn't taste like lamb at all, but rather like beef, small pieces of meat, a small amount of meat. The consistency of the chicken also looked like it had been canned, and neither had any typical Indian taste to our tongues. What happened? New owner? We are served and will not order anymore. Delivery was quick and arrived warm.

Liked the vibes, however, the Indian Pop music was neither my favorite nor makes me feel comfy. It suits couples and friends. Tackled with a spicy appetizer: special naan accompanied with three different sauces. Then, they brought us a warmer and put two spicy stews on it. Lamb Vindaloo and Dahl Goshi were so delicious, like a rainbow of flavors, highly recommended. But there is a huge Negative side: two forks were dirty! it is not acceptable.

If you want to eat good Indian cuisine, this is the place for you! It tastes exactly like in India and is also traditionally served. The restaurant is on a sports hall property but it is very good. We always charge our car at the nearby Supercharger and look forward to eating there. A traditional business that has existed for decades.

I've been here many times. Very good value for money for this location on Brienner Straße! Family atmosphere, good service. The decor is surprising and imaginative. The food is very tasty. Be careful, the entrance is almost impossible to miss.

On a rainy Wednesday evening, my family and I ordered our evening meal from this establishment after it was recommended to us by a good acquaintance. After an hour of waiting for our food, we had a flash of thought to ask where it was. When asked when the food would arrive, no clear answer could be given - apparently they had forgotten to prepare our food. Tempers were depressed - also known as hangry in Anglo-Saxon terms. Now after 105 minutes of hungry stomachs, my mother and I decided to take the initiative and get the meal ourselves. But then the relieving bell came along with a free mango lassis. Food was good, I would recommend picking it up yourself!
