Horrible food! I've never eaten such a bad Indian meal; I went home hungry. It was also relatively expensive.

Great location, it doesn't get much better in Munich! Modern and chic ambiance inside, with outdoor seating right next to the Würm River. Great! The service was friendly, and the reservation worked. The prices are upscale. The portions aren't huge, but they were sufficient. The garlic-free naan bread was excellent, and the food, including chicken with vegetables, was also delicious. Authentic and delicious tasting Indian food! From the chicken tikka to the dal makhani, all dishes we had were flavorful and well seasoned. Further, the food was served up extremely fast and the dishes were piping hot. Situated right along the river Würm, the restaurant is split by the river and the two halves are connected via a small bridge. This makes the location and outdoor seating arrangements very charming and cool during hot summer days. One star deduction, as the prices are quite high, considering the portion sizes and the out-of-the-city center location.

Yesterday, I went to Sidharta with my family for the first time, and we really enjoyed it. We sat in the idyllic outdoor area. The food was delicious and had a truly well-rounded flavor. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The service was very attentive and friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

A very nice restaurant, right on the Würm River, slightly hidden away, and very nice for sitting outside in the summer. The service is super friendly and helpful. The only thing I found disappointing was that the food was generally lightly spiced (Indian spices); it unfortunately tasted very European/German. For Indian spice, they simply add pickled chilies that aren't particularly hot—a shame. We've been here a few times, but every dish didn't live up to our expectations. Above all, I expect somewhat better quality cuisine for the price. I know people who have nothing to do with Indian food and have been eating here ever since their first visit to Sidhartha because they really enjoy it. Everyone's tastes differ, as we all know.

We were passing through and because we liked it so much, we went there for dinner the second evening.

Great restaurant in a great location with very tasty food and very good value for money. Unfortunately, the slow service, which tries hard but can't keep up with the many tables, detracts from the experience. The waiting time of over 50 minutes for the food is also too long. Despite making a reservation we still had to wait 10 minutes for the table, which was a shame.

When I arrive in Munich-West via the Stuttgart Autobahn (A8), I like to stop at this Indian restaurant. Traditional North Indian cuisine is mainly served here. The menu offers a large selection. The dishes are excellently seasoned and very aromatic. There is also a lunch menu with inexpensive lunch dishes. You don't have to wait long for your food here, the friendly service is quick and attentive. The rooms are cozy, tastefully and unobtrusively decorated. In summer you can spend pleasant evenings in the outdoor area directly next to the flowing Würm. Some parking spaces in front of the house.

Really good Indian restaurant that doesn't have the kitsch idea of ​​India in terms of furnishings: clean and very tasteful lighting, ambience with warm wall colors and great lamps and ornaments. We had Tikka Masala, Tandoori Mix and Koftas. Before that, mixed Thali as a starter. Everything was very good, not too much, very good rice, and meat tender and juicy. Was here for the first time on a recommendation. Six of us were here on Saturday evening, reservations are highly recommended! Service is really top: knows his stuff well, gives great recommendations and is quick and helpful. Food and drinks were great across the board and there was something for every taste. Unfortunately, the rooms are very echoey and because of the long table we couldn't really have a good and pleasant conversation.

Wir hatten gestern einen rundum sehr schönen Abend im Sidhartha! Essen war ausgesprochen lecker, das Ambiente an der Würm auf der Terrasse malerisch aber auch drinnen sieht es sehr schön aus. Die Bedienung musste erst etwas auftauen aber dann hatten wir super viel Spaß mit ihr. (In München nicht verwerflich…) Alle 4 waren wir rundum begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder! Preis-Leistung war ebenfalls okay. Empfehlenswert.

It's really a shame Sidharta was a restaurant that we often visited, sometimes weekly, the increased prices and the cuisine has unfortunately changed. We ordered butter chicken and it was very good. Unfortunately, Palak paneer isn't what it used to be either. When I asked why the chicken curry tasted different, I was told that the chef had changed. Unfortunately, you couldn't eat the chicken curry at all. Unfortunately, the taste was very bad. Before that, I couldn't eat my favorite dish completely back there wasn't even a discount.. Nobody came to ask if we wanted a refill of rice.. three people with food and drink just under €85, 1 bottle of water 1 liter 7.50 euros…

We are thrilled every time! By far the best Indian food we have eaten so far! Above all, there are very good vegetarian options such as Shahi Paneer.

We ordered three dishes and had them delivered. We were a bit surprised at the small quantities, only the amount of rice was disproportionately large. Our request for garlic naan (instead of naan), which we had noted on the order form, was ignored without comment. In addition, it was more reminiscent of Turkish flatbread... Overall, we had the impression that the impersonality of the ordering process led to a relatively careless preparation and combination of the dishes.

Früher ausgesprochen gute Küche und Service. Wie enttäuscht waren wir heute vom Essen und dem überwiegend pampigen Personal. Der Reis war lauwarm, die Soße eine Pampe, das Fleisch normal und das Gemüse zerkocht.Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob wir noch etwas trinken wollten oder eine Nachspeise. Nun- nach dieser ´ereignisreichen´ Hauptspeise aben wir auch gerne verzichtet. Nie wieder!

Very nice staff who looked after us well and very good food. The noise level is just a bit loud. My highlight was the shrimp soup as a starter but the lamb korma was also delicious. I was full after the main course, so the portions were good and the price/performance was also great.

The location of the restaurant is excellent. But that was the only positive thing. The food is not authentic and to make matters worse the prices are completely outrageous. When we complained about the taste of the curries the service changed completely and the waitress was very unfriendly. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, look no further.

Sunday night, the place was packed. Excellent service, excellent food, we enjoyed our meal very much. The tandoor flavours came through beautifully. I cant fault our dinner at all. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

Das Restaurant ist hübsch eingerichtet und liegt an einem netten Bach. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und das Essen ist vorzüglich. Das beste Chicken Tikka Masala das ich seit langem gegessen habe! Die Portion war wirklich üppig, das ist im Rahmen des Mittag Menüs wirklich selten das man so eine große Portion erhält. Der Preis ist für diese Portion absolut gerechtfertigt.

schönes Ambiente und tolles Essen!

Nett eingerichtet und es wirkte sauber. Geschmacklich auch recht gut. Aber der Preis recht hoch für die Größe der Portionen. Pro Portion nur etwa max. 120-150g Fleisch das leider von Sehr viel Soße verdeckt war. Auch beim Grillteller musste man raten welches Fleisch man grade isst, da das Fleisch auch hier unter der Soße unterging. Auch mehr Gemüse wünschenswert.

Das Essen ist leider um Klassen schlechter geworden! Aber die Krönung war, dass der Kamin mit feuchtem Holz bestückt worden ist, deshalb wurde noch eine Flasche Brandbeschleuniger drüber gekippt, da die Gäste dann fast erstickt sind, wurden bei minus 10 Grad die Fenster aufgerissen und alle sind fast erfroren. . Auf unsere Beschwerde hat der Kellner lapidar geantwortet, dass alle am Kamin sitzen wollen würden. . Wir haben mit stinkenden Klamotten das Restaurant verlassen. .

Sowohl Service als auch das Essen waren wirklich überragend. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Seit einiger Zeit ist die Qualität und v.a. der Geschmack des Essens schlechter geworden. Heute hat uns nicht einmal mehr das Nan geschmeckt. Eigentlich hatten das Sidharta meist witziges nettes Personal, dies ist ihnen wohl abhanden gekommen. In den letzten Jahren haben aber die Preise sehr ordentlich zugelegt. Preis-Leistung ist jetzt eine Katastrophe. Wir bleiben jetzt erstmal eine lange Zeit weg von diesem Restaurant, wie viele aktuell, denn das Lokal war an einem Donnerstagabend sehr schwach besucht, vorher musste man reservieren.

Nach 30 min wurde die Bestellung nich angenommen, der Grund, Unterbesetzung erläuterte. Die haben meine Familie mit Kindern gesagt, dass wir weg gehen sollen wenn wir nicht warten können.

Als ich angekommen bin, war ich provisorisch an einem Tisch vor dem Eingang. Als ich erfahren habe, dass ich einen anderen Tisch neben dem Bach besetzen konnte, war es eine sehr nette Überraschung. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schmackhaft. Nan Brot ist zu empfehlen (große Portion). Personal sehr professionell.

Das Essen ist immer köstlich im Sidartha mit großzügigen Portionen. Auf der frisch sanierten Terrasse direkt an der Würm sitzt man herrlich!

Ich habe dieses Restaurant als Empfehlung bekommen, dass es ein authentisches indisches Restaurant wäre. Naja angekommen und bedient wurden wir von der super unfreundlichen Tochter des Inhabers. Beratung null Empfehlung null, hektisch ist sie auch. Wir wollten dann eine andere Bedienung und bekamen wir auch. Und ich muss sagen die Herren waren schon viel netter und machen als einzigen ihren Job da gut. Geschmacklich auch total flop. Wir hatten drei verschiedene Fleischgerichte und konnten bis auf den Reis und Naan Brot nichts essen. Es war entweder ungesalzen, zu süß oder säurig. Das einzige, wo das Restaurant punktet ist das Ambiente draußen und die zwei netten Kellner. Preislich teuer und wegen der Tochter als erster Eindruck würde ich nicht mehr kommen und empfehlen dieses Restaurant auch keinesfalls weiter.
