The food was okay but not really spectacular. The most disappointing part was the lamb in bhuna gosht which I felt was tasteless as it lacked flavour.

This restaurant sent a takedown notice to Google for my original 3-star review to get it removed. I would recommend taking the average rating with a grain of salt.

This isn't my first time trying this restaurant. The food is great. I had the lentil soup, which was delicious, as well as the tikka masala and biryani. 👍🏻👍🏻

The lunch menu with saffron rice, soup, and desserts was a scam. I ordered lamb and tofu to try. The taste was okay, not really authentic, not amazing; the lamb was tough. The rice wasn't saffron rice. Unfortunately, I got a salad and no soup. Desserts weren't good either. Far too sweet. The place made a good impression, but the food was disappointing. What was offered on the menu simply wasn't what you get.

Absolutely delicious mango lassi! The vegetarian samosas were also very good. The chicken tikka masala was also delicious. Very friendly and attentive staff. I would eat there again in a heartbeat.

I find the plastic containers of spices on the ceiling odd, and all the red cloths make it much darker, which is a shame because there are almost no windows.

During visit few years ago, although I had planned to enjoy lunch here, a change in my schedule didn’t allow me to dine. However, during my short stay at the restaurant, I was truly impressed by the warm hospitality and courteous service. The staff were very cooperative and welcoming. One of the most noteworthy aspects—especially for Muslim travelers, is the prayer area (mosque) located on the 2nd floor, complete with a restroom. After a long walk through the city, I found it incredibly peaceful to rest and pray there. It’s a thoughtful facility that adds great value for those seeking a quiet, spiritual break during their travels. Been here many times. Very good value for money for this location on Brienner Straße! Family atmosphere, good service. Furnishings surprising and imaginative. Food very tasty. Also very digestible, which is not the case with every Indian restaurant. Be careful, you can almost miss the entrance.

Nach längerer Pause besuchten wir das Sangeet, um dort wie so oft in früheren Jahren zu Mittag zu essen. Positive Überraschung: Die Lunch-Karte wurde massiv erweitert und bietet sogar die Alternative eines 3-Gänge-Menüs oder eines "Lunch-Tellers". Die Kellner sind routiniert und freundlich, die Speisen werden schnell aufgetischt. Leider führt diese Schnelligkeit zu einer Geschmacksverwässerung: Die Speisen können offensichtlich nicht unmittelbar zubereitet werden, was zu Einbussen beim Geschmack führt. Angesichts des mittlerweile erreichten Preisniveaus ergibt sich daraus leider ein bestenfalls durchschnittliches Preis-/Leistungsniveau. Das Ambiente ist trotz enger Bestuhlung angenehm.

Our waiter was lovely and spoke to us in Englisch, which really helped our menu selections. We spent about an hour here and didn't feel rushed to leave. One perculiar Observation was the WC sign with a wheelchair Symbol pointing down two flights of stairs. ( not the only Restaurants who had this). I guess you have to ask for assistance?

We visited during weekday lunch hours. Chane and masala paneer was good, however palak paneer was tasteless. Moreover nan was half-cocked and during lunchtime they serve curry and rice in one plate instead separately unlike to lunch menu of other restaurants

I was in this wonderful restaurant for the first time today, I have to say, Indian cuisine is not my favorite cuisine, I chose it for my husband. But I have to say this restaurant convinced me and inspired me so much that I would like to come back. The ambience is magical, the service is amazing, very attentive and always with the guest. The food is so delicate and well prepared that I am simply convinced on all counts. We'll be back very soon and are already looking forward to it.

A distinguished restaurant with a high rating and very good food. Lunch for two included chicken tikka, butter chicken, mixed Arabic salad, and Mango LASSI juice (very delicious). Public parking is available on the side street opposite the restaurant.

Ambience really good. The food was delicious, but I was very disappointed when I went to the toilet. The toilets were very unclean. Going to the toilet wasn't nice either. There is a lot of room for improvement.

Typically Indian, fine food, great service (lots of different plates were brought for the group so that you could try different things), more plates were brought easily.

We were tourist and happen to see this place. Had good food with right spice levels. The tea was really very good and made our day 😊👌👍

Had prawn curry n chicken biryani. The nan were soft and the mains delicious. Not much spicy but cooked well. The chicken and prawn were not chewy and the rice well cooked. The complimentary papad for my kid helped the palate.

We came in for a late lunch on a rainy day, very few tables were occupied and we had our pick. Place is decorated in Indian ornaments, very colorful, warm, and cozy, a really home feel to the place. We were served immediately and opted for a la carte menu despite the very affordable lunch menu. Food was excellent, not as spicy as we were expecting, but that's something that happens by default in this part of the world and I keep forgetting to mention at the time of order, so if you are looking for some fire in your mouth do tell beforehand.

Beautiful, cozy restaurant - with all sorts of Indian furnishings - accessories, carpets, curtains on the walls, etc. It's rare to find such a cozy factor - dimmed light creates a pleasant feel-good atmosphere. Food and service tip top! Small starter on the house - lentil bread with 3 different small dips, starter plate, main courses - everything fresh and very tasty! ..and then a little chai tea ;) Children, children, we're going to the Indian restaurant now ;) Many thanks to the sangeet team

The food was not close to authentic Indian food. For example the malayi kofta was weird and the butter and garlic naan were so different from real naan. They were some different kind of bread, but definitely not a naan. They seemed like those frozen Naan we get from Indian supermarkets. I would not rate 2 stars just for the food but what bothered me was also the price. It was one of the most expensive Indian restaurants I've been to in Munich. And I've been to 10-15 restaurants so far. The service was good I would say and hence I give 4 stars to the service. The atmosphere is also nice with classical Indian musical instruments on display, which is also the name of the restaurant: sangeet (music).
