I ordered delicious marinated chicken drumsticks and was very satisfied. Please note: Currently, cash payments are only accepted. But that's not a problem, as I'm all for preserving cash anyway.
I had the pleasure of dining at New Indian Palace during my recent trip to Munich, and it was an unforgettable experience. This family-run restaurant creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that truly enhances the dining experience. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the owning family went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic visit. After dinner, I encountered an issue with my taxi, and the owner kindly arranged a ride back to my hotel for me—an incredible gesture of hospitality. This was one of the best dining experiences I had in Munich, and I can’t wait to return on my next visit!
Went to India yesterday on a recommendation. We came without a reservation. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a table. The food was very, very tasty. Everything was explained at the table. The service was great and super friendly. The atmosphere is cozy. We'd love to come back.
We ate here on a Saturday evening when the place was quite busy, so it is recommended to book a table in advance. We often visit Indian restaurants when we travel, but at this place, we had the best Indian food we’ve had in many years. We ordered naan bread, and it was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and just perfect.
After that, we had lamb curry with vegetables and butter chicken, and it tasted amazing. We often have butter chicken, but this time, the dish was extra creamy and tasted wonderful. We are not big fans of overly spicy food, which can sometimes make it tricky to order correctly at Indian restaurants, but here, we got it just right. Lots of flavor without being too spicy.
The place has a nice atmosphere, and the service is friendly, efficient, and fast—you don’t have to wait long for your food. If you are looking for a place to eat in Schleswig, this is the place to go!
Wife and I stopped here on a Sunday without reservations. There was a party of 10+ and two tables of four ahead of us and we were still promptly sat and served. The food was delicious (albeit not very spicy). We got the Chili Chicken, veg jalfrezi and Dal Makhani. The Dal Makhani was our favorite, very tasty. Total price with Mango Lassi, water and Chai was €70.

The India House is located in the old town. Therefore limited parking options. The decor is a bit rustic but nicely done with lots of Indian figures and murals.
You are greeted and served in a friendly manner. The dishes are also really hot when they come to the table.
We go regularly 2-3 times a year.
