Very tasty, typical country food and very nice and attentive conditions, highly recommended.

We were greeted and served in an extremely friendly manner, the restaurant is not too crowded and pleasantly furnished. The menu offers something for everyone and the prices are fair. The most important thing: we all enjoyed it very much, the quantity was absolutely sufficient and the spiciness chosen was perfect. A top address for all fans of Indian food.

Ate here for the first time on the recommendation of friends. Great selection and delicious. The restaurant itself is rather smaller but therefore there is no loud background noise. Since many dishes are prepared with chickpea flour instead of wheat flour, this restaurant is a tip for people with gluten intolerance. Starters and main courses were very tasty. The lamb goulash with spinach was to die for. The evening was rounded off by the very friendly staff and fair prices. We'll definitely be back 😃

If you want to eat delicious food, you've come to the right place. Since the restaurant is very popular, we strongly recommend that you reserve in advance! Service is very patient, friendly and attentive. The 4 sauces for the starter (fried chickpea bread) were a successful start. The main course was a blast. Available in 5 different levels of spiciness. Very tasty and with a request for a bowl to sharpen it can be ideally adapted to your individual need/feeling of sharpness. The one star in the ambience was deducted because the tables are quite close and it is therefore quite crowded and therefore relatively loud, which makes conversation a bit difficult. Overall, a very successful evening with very accommodating hosts and good value for money. We would definitely like to come back.

The small starter (Indian bread with dips) tastes excellent, the samosas are also very tasty! ... I usually have to do without the starters because the main side is more than enough... I always like to order Birjani, lamb in butter sauce.

There were two of us there on a Friday lunchtime, there were plenty of free tables and the smell when entering the dining room was very pleasant “Bollywood music” was sounding from somewhere. In addition to the regular card, there is a reduced card with prices up to €12. There are two incidents that make it necessary for me to deduct points from the service, which was actually friendly and quick. The first “apparition” I had was in the men’s restroom, where a younger employee or family member was standing at the urinal with a smartphone to his ear. For me, that doesn't meet any hygiene standards when you go back into the kitchen afterwards. Even if you wash your hands, you don't wash your cell phone. The manager/waiter got the second point deduction because she also brought the food and drinks to the table with her smartphone at her ear and talking in her own language. That's too much for me - even in a family-run hotel. Regardless, the ambience is very nice, the dishes were very tasty and pleasantly spicy and the service was actually on point. There is no free parking on site, but there is plenty of managed parking space, whether on the street or in nearby parking lots. To avoid giving the wrong impression: this is a very good restaurant and my reviews are snapshots!

It was good to reserve! You literally had to play Tetris with the tables and seats so that everyone could fit in! The food was really, really good! And the price-performance ratio is also perfect. For 2 people together 60 euros is rather cheap, especially because more than a third of that went to drinks (wine). If I come to Wuppertal again, I'll be happy to come back.

Wir waren am Wochenende, aber zum Glück noch früh am Abend hier. Danach füllte sich das Lokal sehr schnell. Der Grund dafür ist klar: Hier kann man wirklich sehr gut indisch essen. Die Gerichte sind gekonnt zubereitet, den Schärfegrad kann man frei wählen. Auch für Vegetarier gibt es eine große Auswahl. Alles ist leicht und bekömmlich. Vom Haus gibt es als Vorspeise Brot und verschiedene Dips - das ist schon einmal eine sehr schöne und nette Einstimmung auf das, was noch kommt. Der Service arbeitet sehr freundlich, professionell und schnell. Die Preise sind günstig - zumal für das, was geboten wird. Da das Lokal klein ist, sitzt man etwas beengt, was aber kein wirkliches Problem ist.

Eine Empfehlung eines befreundeten Ehepaares brachte uns dazu, dieses kulinarische Highlight in Wuppertal zu besuchen. Dies ist nun schon eine Weile her und mittlerweile sind wir Stammgäste. Die immer sehr aufmerksame, freundliche und strahlende Chefin und ihr ebenso engagierter und gastfreundlicher Ehemann kümmern sich liebevoll um das Wohlergehen ihrer Gäste. Auch das andere Personal ist super! Immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Nach einer Weile kennt man seine Lieblingsgerichte, die man in unterschiedlichen Schärfegraden bestellen kann. Der kleine Gruß vom Haus besteht aus einem kleinen Salat mit der weltbesten Salatsauce (ohne Witz - unsere Tochter ist seitdem begeisterte Salatesserin). Wir kommen immer gern und fühlen uns sehr wohl. Ist wie ein kleiner Urlaub. Wenn indisch, dann hier. 6 von 5 Sternen🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Extremely insensitive behavior towards children.We just entered the restaurant and before we had even settled down, they started complaining about their tables and menu card. The lady was very rude. She even boasted of having served for 30 years and made derogatory comments about Indians. Wonder how they sustained for 30 years!!! Families with younger kids please avoid this place as this is not a kid friendly restaurant

Das Restaurant Delhi Roma in Wuppertal überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Die indische Küche ist hier ein wahres Highlight – authentisch und geschmacklich herausragend. Die kinderfreundliche Atmosphäre ist besonders lobenswert, und das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist mehr als fair. Die zentrale Lage macht das Restaurant gut erreichbar. Das Personal ist nicht nur freundlich, sondern auch äußerst aufmerksam. Jedes Mal wieder auf‘s neue eine Geschmacksexplosion! Man kann sich nie entscheiden, da alles super schmeckt! Mein Lieblingsrestaurant, da es auch für Vegetarier und Veganer geeignet ist und es einfach gemütlich und lecker ist.

Die Aperitifs (Martini und ein sehr leckerer halbtrockener Sherry, je 3,50 €) kamen sehr günstig, auch bei uns gab es die leckere Vorspeise mit Naan, drei Dips und Salat aufs Haus. Wir haben uns dann eine Gemüse Samosa (5,50 €) geteilt, als Hauptgericht hatten wir Butter Chicken (13,50 €) und das vegane Gemüse Kofta Curry (11,90 €). Indische Küche, wie man sie kennt, und wir wurden gut satt. Mir wurde der indische Rotwein (4,90 €) empfohlen, der auch sehr lecker und vollmundig war. Insgesamt ein gelungener Abend in warmherziger Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant war sehr voll, ein "Weiter So" an die Betreiberfamilie.

Bin heute fremd gegangen. Auf Empfehlung der Inhaberin bin ich von Chicken-Saag (mein Lieblingsgericht) auf Butter-Chicken umgestiegen. Eigentlich fast unmöglich, aber es war noch KÖSTLICHER. Unbedingt nicht zu vergessen ist das außergewöhnlich leckere Salatdressing. Ein Traum. Tolle Atmosphäre, tolle Bedienung. LECKER. 😋 😋 😋 LECKER.

Meine Frau und ich hatten spontan Bock auf indische Küche und sind am Delhi Roma Restaurant vorbei gekommen. Das Lokal ist klein und gemütlich und macht, inklusive der Toiletten, einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Der Service war schnell am Platz und freundlich. Die Bestellungen kamen zügig und warm an den Tisch. Das Essen war sehr köstlich und ansehnlich angerichtet. Die Karte war überschaubar für ein indisches Restaurant, aber das ist wohl der kleinen Lokalität geschuldet und eher ein Qualitätsmerkmal. Die Preise der Gerichte sind allesamt als günstig zu erachten (mein Hauptgang mit Schweinefleisch auf Stufe 5 indisch scharf, wirklich angenehm scharf, hatte einen Preis 12,50€). Zusammen hatten wir mit Vorspeise und Hauptgang inklusive Getränke eine Rechnung von knapp 43€. Das ist absolut fair und in Ordnung. Wir schauen demnächst gerne wieder vorbei, wenn wir spontan Lust auf indisches Essen haben.

Dieses Restaurant gehört zu meinen liebsten in Wuppertal, sehr leckere indische Speisen zu einem super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mit überaus freundlichem Personal. Ich komme hier öfter hin und bin bislang noch nie enttäuscht worden.

Sehr leckeres Essen und super freundliche, zuvorkommende Bedienung. Vor den Speisen gibt es Brot mit Dips und leckeren Salat aufs Haus. Die Hauptgerichte sind Preisleistungs-technisch immer top und super lecker. Man wird satt. Wer es wirklich scharf mag, sollte aber scharf oder indisch scharf bei den Gerichten wählen. Es gibt nichts zu meckern, die Speisen waren gut, das Personal zuvorkommend. Besonders die alte Dame (ist wohl die Chefin), die von Tisch zu Tisch ging, um nach dem Rechten zu sehen und Smalltak mit den Gästen zu betreiben.

Wir waren mit drei Personen im Delhi-Roma zu Gast. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch begleitet. Zügig wurden die Getränke gebracht und die Speisenbestellungen aufgenommen. Als Vorspeisen hatten wir Onion Bhaji, Garlic Naan und einen kleinen gemischten Salat, als Hauptgerichte Butter Chicken, Lamm Saag und Paneer Curry. Leider fehlte bei allen Gerichten die typisch indische Note, Gewürze wurden nur äußerst zurückhaltend eingesetzt. Außerdem hatten wir den Eindruck, dass die Gerichte für reduzierte Zubereitungszeit optimiert wurden: Die Hähnchenbruststücke waren (wenn überhaupt) viel zu kurz mariniert, Gemüse und Lammfleisch für unseren Geschmack zu kurz gekocht. Insgesamt machte es auf uns den Eindruck eines etwas lieblosen europäisch-indischen Crossovers. Nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht wirklich gut. Dafür waren die Portionen aber recht groß und die Preise fair. Daher von uns 3 bis 4 Punkte, average/good.

Ich war jetzt vier mal mit unterschiedlichen Menschen da und wir hatten nie etwas zu kritisieren, Das Essen war lecker, der Service gut, die Atmosphäre locker. Auch eine Anfrage:' Können Sie mir auch ein Takeaway für meine Frau im Krankenhaus zubereiten? ' bekam sofort eine positive Antwort. Was will man mehr?

We found this Restaurant while browsing around Wuppertal pondering where to dine out. Althougg there are a plethora of restaurants in this region, we discovered a real gem in Delhi Roma restaurant. The food was authentic as I have seen anywhere (yes I have visited India many times!) with the spices nicely blended into the food without overpowering the flavours. It was niceto see a good selection of vegetarian dishes. The service was good & the prices very reasonable. I would certain visit Delhi Roma should we be in the vicinity again and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to eat good quality Indian cuisine.

Hatten zwei Vorspeisen, Naan mit Aioli (indisches Fladenbrot) sowie Alu Tikki (Kartoffeln mit Gewürzen gemischt und gebraten) und dazu Tamarindensauce. Dann gab es eine Vorspeise des Hauses noch auch sehr lecker. Als Hauptgerichte gab es Chicken Mandras und Pork Chili in Schärfestufe 2 bzw. 3. Konnte man sehr gut essen. Der Service war sehr gut und aufmerksam und mega freundlich. Sehr gerne wieder.

Ich habe Butter Chicken empfohlen bekommen. Die folgende Frage bei der Bestellung war, wie scharf es denn sein darf. Sehr zuvorkommend und angenehm. Freundliches und gemütliches Restaurant. We ordered Biryani, Fish Curry, Chicken curry with Garlic naan. Nothing is tasty and prepared in indian style. Moreover got to search for garlic in so called Garlic Naan.

Wir hatten Glück das wir ohne Vorbestellung einen der Tische bekommen konnten. Die Bedienungen waren jederzeit aufmerksam und haben die Bestellungen schnell bearbeitet. Das Essen - wir hatten Lamm - war sehr lecker und gut zubereitet. Ein super Feature ist, dass man jedes Essen in seiner individuellen Schärfe bestellen kann.

Von außen etwas unscheinbar, aber ein wirklich gutes indisches Restaurasnt. Essen war sehr lecker, Service sehr freundlich, der Laden am Samstag Abend sehr gut besucht, am besten reservieren!
