We were very dissatisfied with the service and consequently didn't feel comfortable. The food was okay, but not outstanding.

Highly recommended!! From the outside, the restaurant doesn't look particularly inviting, and if you're unfamiliar with it, you'd be hesitant to go in. BUT, it's a surprise. Bright, modern, clean, and the food is very good, and it still tastes Indian (and not completely German-style - thank you for that 🙏🏼) A cheerful young man also served us very friendly. We'd be happy to come back.

So bad since today – very disappointing after years of being loyal guests. Additional information: Please note: The menu prices no longer match the bill. We have been regular guests for years and have always enjoyed the food here. Our regular dishes, in particular, have always been delicious, intensely spiced, and have the typical, strong flavor of Indian cuisine. But today, unfortunately, the experience was completely different: The food had hardly any flavor at all; instead of the usual spicy curry sauce, we were served an almost white, bland cream sauce with no spiciness or depth of flavor. Not only was that disappointing – it also had absolutely nothing to do with Indian cuisine. After so many positive visits, we're truly sorry to say this, but we won't be coming back.

Small portions. Barely seasoned.

We ordered today and were unfortunately disappointed this time. We've always been very satisfied – the butter chicken was usually delicious, the meat tender, the sauce perfectly seasoned, and the naan bread really good. Today, delivery took over 1.5 hours, the food arrived only lukewarm, the chicken was a bit dry, the sauce watery, and barely seasoned. The portion of naan was also significantly smaller than usual. It's a real shame, because we actually really like the restaurant. Hopefully, it was just a slip-up.

Unfortunately, it's deteriorated considerably. You're cutting corners; some of the meat is unidentifiable. Both items in the photo are supposed to be chicken.

Food is delicious, no question, delivery doesn't work at all. 2h delivery time is normal here, it was the same before. Even after asking several times, you only get a “coming soon” and then you hang up. The “boss” then wants to speak to someone at the front door about the cold food that was delivered and shouts at the customer, me, on the phone. I ordered Indian and got gazpacho plus a screaming restaurateur.👍🏼 Gladly again, I feel like I'm at home. The full experience 😊 Take it with humor and don't blame your incompetence on me. Utter Hopeless. The lady is too arrogant. First they deliver cold food that too after 1.5 hrs of ordering. And when complained they cancel the order next time. Spoiling the name of India and Indians.

Be careful from this restaurant. The owner is very rude.

Delicious food, but unfortunately deliveries don't work at all. Both times 2 hours later than desired. Late times will not be communicated even if requested. It's a shame, we won't be ordering any more for the time being.

We ate at Bombay a few times. The price-performance ratio is right here. Always tasty and very nice service. Thanks to the boss of the house for the always friendly welcome.👍 We'll come back often.

I really enjoy visiting the Bombay Restaurant when I have something to do in Oberbarmen. In addition to numerous vegetarian dishes, there is also a good selection of vegan dishes. The price-performance ratio is great, and I personally find the service and furnishings in the restaurant just as appealing. Therefore definitely recommended - for example before or after a visit to the Cinema cinema diagonally opposite.

Unfortunately, I haven't eaten there yet, but I order there regularly and am always impressed. Really very tasty everything, fast delivery, not a single mistake even with large orders. Great!

We have been going to this restaurant for years and also like to order for home...the food is wonderfully seasoned and I enjoy it as often as I can. The service is very friendly and quick. My whole family loves going there and we can absolutely recommend the restaurant.

Delicious food, friendly service

You shouldn't be put off by the external appearance, inside it is comfortably furnished. This was our first visit to Bombay. Everything tasted delicious and if someone wants something spicier, they have to specify that when ordering. When you arrive, you should note that the parking situation is very bad.

Food was well done. Unfortunately more from the outside than from the inside. Something was forgotten and was refunded at the door.

Ordered through Lieferando. Order was not delivered at all, no communication attempts were made. Poor service.

I was really skeptical because I don't know anything about Indian food, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was very friendly, the food was really good and with a large selection. The prices are very fair.

We were there for the first time on Friday because we had to do something in Wuppertal and we passed there just by chance. The waiter was super nice and the food was fantastic! It's a shame that we live on the corner of Bonn, otherwise we would come by again! Definitely recommended!

Very bad service. Ordered before opening. Then we wanted to cancel. Called half an hour before opening to cancel. Of course they don't take off until they open. And then this shop had been open for 10 minutes and we said: no, we can't cancel because half the order is ready. If you were customer-oriented you wouldn't have mentioned it at all and simply canceled it. This is how you keep your customers. Great keep it up 👍

VERY VERY RECOMMENDED!!!! My girlfriend and I had dinner there last night. The food was really good and the staff was very friendly. The Nan bread is very soft and delicious, the sauce is spicy, the meat is tender and the rice is perfectly cooked but still totally fluffy, not the least bit lumpy or anything. The price was also great. With drinks, two breads and our meal we paid just €47. We will definitely go there and order more often. I think I had number 59.

Unfortunately I am disappointed with the food. Tastes very average and has little seasoning. I like to eat Indian food but unfortunately it wasn't Indian enough.

The food was ok. Had a grill plate Bombay unfortunately the fish was very watery and tasteless. The meat lamb and chicken were not seasoned well enough. A pity.

Actually always unbeatably good. Sometimes the waiting time is longer, but we are happy to wait. The food is always very fresh and really extremely tasty. I often have problems with flavor enhancers, but not here, which is why I suspect little to no use of such things. Recommendations are the Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Pakora (especially the orange sauce with it), as well as Lamb Vindaloo and all the Naans and Raitas. Big praise to the team and all the best for 2024.

Habe schon mehrmals zum abholen bestellt, essen schmeckt sehr gut und sehr schnell zubereitet. Ich kaufe gerne das Chicken Korma. Trotz, dass die Schärfe mild sein soll und immer mild war, war es heute viel zu scharf. Man kann’s leider nicht wie gewohnt genießen. Trotzdem 5 Sterne, weil es sonst immer top war.

Am 03.10.2023 wieder hervorragend hier zu viert gegesssen. (Preise sind sehr moderat gestiegen.) Selten zartes Lammfleisch, gegrilltes Hähnchen, jeweils in leckeren üppigen Saucen. Nicht alltägliche Vorspeisen, nicht zu vergessen die leckeren Dips als Intro und der Tee von frischer Minze. Serviert in gleichermassen sympatischem wie professionellem Stil. Das Ganze zu niedrigen Preisen. Sauber und grosse Abstände der Tische. So hätte das Restaurant wirklich mehr Gäste verdient.

Ich finde das Essen für indische Verhältnisse wenig gewürzt. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, wie scharf wir es haben wollen. Wenn man etwas sagt machen sie es aber vielleicht auch mehr auf die indische Art. Abgesehen davon war das Essen aber schmackhaft. Kartenzahlung auch mit virtueller Debit-Karte kein Problem. Sehr freundliche und sympathische Bedienung!!

Solides Essen, gute Portionen, auf Wunsch auch europäisch scharf.

Tolles indisches Restaurant mit traditionellen Gerichten. Wir haben schon ein paar Mal Essen dort vorbestellt und liefern lassen. Es war immer sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Vor Ort haben wir bisher noch nie gegessen. Wir nehmen meistens Naan Brot mit verschiedenen Dips, Curry als Hauptgericht und Suppe hatte ich auch schon mal bestellt. Das Essen kommt frisch und heiß zu Hause an.

Mehr als nur freundlich sehr indisch lecker ich fühle mich an meinem Indien Aufenthalt erinnert. So gut der Chai Tee Bombe!!!!

Wir haben um 21.50 bestellt, das Essen kam um 23.30. Das Restaurant schließt um 23.00, ich war also skeptisch, ob das Essen überhaupt noch kommt. Nun bin ich zwar nicht mehr hungrig, aber dennoch ziemlich enttäuscht. Die Konsistenz des Garlic Naans erinnerte eher an einen zähen Pfannkuchen und auch den Knoblauch schmeckte man kaum. Es gab zwar 3 Dips dazu, aber das machte es nicht besser. Der Chicken Tikka Massala fehlte ihre übliche rote Farbe, sie war eher braun und anstatt fruchtig und mild scharf schmeckte es nur nach Zwiebelsauce mit Garam Massala. Alles in allem werde ich hier nie wieder bestellen.

Sehr leckeres authentisches Essen zu einem fairen Preis! Als Vorspeise wurden uns drei super leckere Dips mit Brot serviert. Der Besitzer hat uns die Speisen geduldig erklärt und war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder :)
