Royal indische Curry in Wuppertal

Wir haben liefern lassen und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Lamm Biryani war sehr lecker und mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet. Das Chicken Bhuna war auch sehr lecker. Die Pommes waren noch sehr knusprig. Insgesamt kam das Essen sehr heiß an. Und von der Bestellung bis zu Lieferung hat es etwas über eine Stunde gebraucht. Für die Qualität des Essens voll in Ordnung. Wir werden dort wieder bestellen!

Das indische Essen war wirklich hervorragend – unglaublich aromatisch, frisch und perfekt gewürzt. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe gekocht wird. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich auch der Kundenservice: absolut top! Es wurde sogar extra angerufen, um alles zu bestätigen, und die Bestellung wurde schneller als erwartet zubereitet. So einen aufmerksamen und freundlichen Service erlebt man selten. Ich bestelle definitiv wieder!

Ich habe noch nie so schlecht gegessen. Über 1,5 Stunden Lieferzeit. Absolut lächerlich! Stornieren war nicht mehr möglich, weil das Essen dann nach 1,5 Stunden leider schon unterwegs war. Telefonisch war auch niemand erreichbar. Butter Chicken und Chicken Tikka Masala waren komplett versalzen und ungenießbar. Geschmacklich eine Katastrophe. Danach auch noch starke Bauchprobleme bekommen. So etwas sollte man keinem anbieten. Am liebsten würde ich 0 Sterne geben. Finger weg von diesem Laden!

Noch nie so lecker indisch gegessen! Ich freue mich schon auf mein nächstes Butter Chicken! Einfach Wow!

Also ich hab da noch nicht gegessen. Aber ich habe den Chef leider kennen gelernt, es wurde erstaunlich schnell laut, und seitdem fährt sein kleiner beschiedener Lieferwagen, den Motor hoch drehend ,an meiner Wohnung vorbei. Wie wär's wenn Sie sich stattdessen Mal um das Restaurant kümmern. Wenn Sie wollen helfe ich auch, hab viel Gordan Ramsey geguckt 😜

gutes Essen und der Kellner war so freundlich, gerne wieder

Geheimtipp in Wuppertal, großes Menü mit dem jeder fündig wird. Ich bin seit Jahren Stammgast (Lieferung und vor Ort) und war jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Vor allem das Veg. Kofta ist super :)

Der telefonische Eindruck war sehr nett und lustig. Wir haben eine Vorspeise, zwei Hauptgerichte, zwei Brote und zwei Getränke bestellt. Ich habe das Essen persönlich abgeholt und hatte ein sehr unterhaltsames Gespräch mit dem Mitarbeiter. Das Essen war in etwa 15 Minuten fertig. Ich bin direkt nach Hause gefahren, weil ich es ohne erneutes Aufwärmen genießen wollte. Leider gibt es nichts unter 1 Stern, sonst hätte ich das gewählt. Das Essen war extrem schlecht, wirkte nicht frisch und hat sehr unangenehm gerochen. Meiner Frau ging es nach dem Essen sehr schlecht. Für uns war das leider eine reine Geldverschwendung. Wir fühlen uns wirklich sehr schlecht, da wir Lebensmittel fast nie entsorgen, aber dieses Essen war eine reine Katastrophe und wir konnten es nicht essen. Eure Spezialitäten könnten bei einer anderen Zubereitung vielleicht besser sein, aber indische Küche ist definitiv nicht eure Stärke.

Wir hatten Butter Chicken bestellt. Schnell serviert nachdem wir darum gebeten haben. Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Ambiente. Leckeres Essen. Faire Preise.

Das Essen ist altbacken und geschmacklos, und der Laden ist ziemlich schmutzig. 14 Euro für ein Essen sind in so einem Laden etwas übertrieben.

Bestes indisches Essen in Wuppertal 10/10

Ich habe in Deutschland viel indisch gegessen. Das Essen und der Service waren sehr gut, vielen Dank. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ich habe über 80 Minuten gewartet, aber die Lieferung erfolgte nicht. Musste die Bestellung leider stornieren.

Drei Personen bestellten verschiedene Currys. Zuerst hieß es, es gäbe kein Lamm, nur Hühnchen. Dann bekamen wir alle dasselbe Curry: Jalfrezi, Madras und Vindaloo. Im Vindaloo waren sogar Kartoffeln. Alle Currys waren sehr joghurt- und sahnebasiert, ungewürzt und schmeckten gleich. Das Brot war okay, aber nicht gut. Papadams und Pickles waren in Ordnung, aber das Beste war der kostenlose Reis – das Einzige, was wir von diesem schrecklichen Essen essen wollten. Nach dem Essen hieß es dann, man könne nur bar bezahlen. Ich hatte eigentlich erwartet, nichts dafür zu bezahlen, aber wir zahlten trotzdem und sagten dem Besitzer Bescheid. Daraufhin wurde er aggressiv. Bitte meiden Sie dieses Lokal!

An einem normalen Dienstag hat die Bestellung 100 Minuten gedauert. Bei den Nachfragen wurde bewusst 15 Min gesagt hat aber nochmal 40 Minuten gedauert. Das Naan brot war superfettig ohne käse erkennbar obwohl so bestellt. Ein Gericht kam ohne Gemüse obwohls mit auf der Karte steht ( es wurde lediglich gefragt ob es ohne paprika geht) Die Frittierte Aubergine ungeniessbar. Der raita wässrig. Wie mit Wasser gestreckt. Leider ein kompletter Reinfall

Ein Stern, weil weniger nicht geht. Ihr solltet Euch nach Möglichkeit nicht hierhin verlaufen: es riecht stark nach verbranntem Brot, der Reis riecht muffig, das Lassi ist nicht frisch, Kartenzahlung geht nicht, die Rechnung wird aufgerundet und ach ja: Wechselgeld ist auch nicht da.

Immer lecker, immer freundlich!

Ich bestellte Butterhuhn, war aber ziemlich enttäuscht. Es war viel zu süß und hatte einen sehr starken Kreuzkümmelgeschmack, der das Gericht völlig überdeckte. Ich hatte einen ausgewogeneren und cremigeren Geschmack erwartet.

Das Essen war sehr gut und ich habe mehrmals das gleiche Gericht bestellt. Das Essen war frisch und wurde immer pünktlich geliefert.

Vor ca. drei Jahren haben wir hier schon einmal bestellt und das Essen persönlich abgeholt. Es war lecker und daher haben wir heute noch einmal dort bestellt. Es handelte sich um eine Terminbestellung für 19:30 Uhr. Um 20:10 Uhr hatten wir dann endlich unser Essen. Es war lauwarm und unserer Meinung nach leider nicht sehr schmackhaft. Da hätten wir uns auch indisches Fertiggericht erwärmen können. Da hätten wir wenigstens warmes/heißes Essen gehabt. Wir werden hier nicht mehr bestellen…

Verdorbenes Essen. Die schlechteste Qualität, die ich je gesehen habe. Innen war alles verdorben und die Bestellungen wurden nicht eingehalten. Sie haben unser Geld genommen, aber wir haben das Essen nie erhalten. Sucht euch einen besseren Lieferdienst! 💋

Ich habe bereits einmal hier bestellt und war damals sehr zufrieden. Aufgrund dieser positiven Erfahrung habe ich heute erneut bestellt – und wurde leider zutiefst enttäuscht. Hier die Punkte im Detail: • Die Lieferung dauerte fast zwei Stunden (was mich an sich noch nicht gestört hätte). • Meine Wohnung ist eindeutig auf der Klingel ausgeschrieben, zusätzlich habe ich die Angaben auch im Lieferhinweis vermerkt. • Der Fahrer verirrte sich jedoch und lief fast 20 Minuten ziellos durchs Hochhaus. • Als er schließlich ankam, schrie er mich an, weil er die Wohnung nicht finden konnte – obwohl alles korrekt vermerkt war. Als ich ihm die Angaben auf Handy und Quittung zeigte, riss er mir das Blatt aus der Hand und fragte, ob ich es zurückhaben wolle. Dabei fielen mir mein Handy und das Dessert auf den Boden. • Über UberEats erschien nur die private Handynummer des Besitzers. Der Fahrer verwies mich ans Restaurant und meinte, ich solle es googeln. (Ich wollte eigentlich nur helfen, da keine Fahrer-Nummer angegeben war.) • Im Restaurant konnte man mir telefonisch ebenfalls nicht direkt weiterhelfen. Zum Essen: • Es kam nur lauwarm an (noch akzeptabel). • Das Lamm Sabzi schmeckte gut. • Das Butter Chicken war jedoch kaum genießbar: zwar war die Soße lecker, aber das Fleisch war extrem zäh und unangenehm zu essen – vermutlich nicht frisch. • Die Desserts waren leider geschmacklich enttäuschend. • Der Reis ist Geschmackssache, für mich aber nicht überzeugend. Fazit: Preis-Leistung stimmt hier überhaupt nicht, auch die Portionsgrößen sind nicht gerechtfertigt. Für mich war dies die letzte Bestellung – sehr schade, denn nach der ersten positiven Erfahrung bin ich nun wirklich enttäuscht.

You order food worth 40 euros, then it arrives 2 hours later and I have to cook my rice again because they don't mention that there are spices or other things in the rice even though it says everything is made with basmati rice. I wait 2 hours and then I have to stand in the kitchen again, I'm so angry 😡 unbelievable

The food quantity is not even enough for one child. Its very less and also the delivery took 90+ minutes to get delievered. And also no tissues very included. I would highlt recommend not to order from this restaurant. They dont value customers.

Small restaurant not far from the train station. There were three of us and we ordered chicken in curry and mango. The food came relatively quickly and was really delicious. The portions were quite large so we had the rest packed up. The food was traditionally served in brass bowls over a low heat so that it didn't get cold so quickly. I can definitely recommend the restaurant. Full marks. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

!!! HANDS OFF !!! Make their customers wait 2 hours for their food. After calling we were told that the delivery had already been made an hour ago. The delivery person had given the food to a neighbor and claimed that we didn't open the door, a neighbor did instead and that was apparently reason enough for him to deliver the food to said neighbor. Restaurant doesn't see mistakes and blames us, even though everyone was at home. Can't be surpassed in terms of impudence. Didn't want to redeliver the food or refund the money. Of course, the neighbor kept the food without letting us know and was probably happy for a cookie. The 1x1 in this industry: have your name and order handed to you at the door when delivering. Very dubious and customer-unfriendly, with no solution suggested. This is not how you behave as a serious supplier and restaurant operator.

Unsympathetic employees. The food doesn't taste good either and the place is also unhygienic. I ordered chicken butter. The rice was too dry. There are no limits anywhere when it comes to collection. You cannot order small items to be picked up 😡

We ordered today via Lieferando. Food arrived on time at the delivery time indicated. The driver was friendly. Despite the distance from the delivery location, the food was still hot when it arrived. The naan bread came in a very decent portion. Mix raita was ok. The Butter Chicken and the Chicken Ticki Marsala came in a good portion with rice. Both dishes were very well seasoned and tasty. Clear recommendation and we will definitely order again.

We were out and about in the area and unfortunately walked past a few restaurants because we were a little tight on money. That's how we ended up here - the prices are fair, the lamb was nice and tender and the portions were large. However, once you have eaten in a more upscale Indian restaurant, you will notice a difference, including in terms of the ambience. The restaurant here seems more like a larger, simple snack bar. Overall we were absolutely satisfied and will come back.

We often visit this restaurant with friends, especially after a relaxing Saturday evening as the opening hours are ideal. The service is exceptionally fast and the owner always treats us with great friendliness. Some of our favorites include Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Kofta, Garlic Butter Naan, Samosa and Lassi. Every dish is seasoned to perfection, just the way we like it, and the quality is always outstanding. The naan in particular is soft and delicious, while the curries are rich in flavor. The samosas are always crispy and delicious too. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and invites you to come back. For us it is always a pleasure to eat here. We can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The food came after almost two hours, so only one point for service. Had to get out early the next morning. Taste? Well, a lot of very fatty sauce, a few fatty cubes of lamb. At least it was tasty and I ate a few spoonfuls. Ambiance? I can't judge.

I went to Royal Indian Curry last Sunday and once again I wasn't disappointed! Since new management took over, the restaurant has really improved. The curries are incredibly delicious, with a perfect blend of spices. As always, the service was friendly and attentive. Particularly noteworthy are the fair prices - you get a lot for your money here. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can recommend the restaurant to everyone. Five stars are absolutely deserved

I ordered there via Lieferando and gave a bad review. After that I was called 3 times (in a row). At around 9:30 p.m. There are people who still have to work and apart from that the reaction seems a little strange.

I have ordered there three times so far. The first time the food was really okay, the second time and today the third time unfortunately very disappointing and not worth the money. Unfortunately there was no lentil in the lentil soup, instead I was given yellow water with spices. The Palak Paneer was not seasoned and there were only two cheese cubes in it, and the Garlic Naan was unfortunately neither warm nor fresh. The delivery time was quick but never again, a shame.

The restaurant was completely empty and no one came. Unfortunately everything looks very outdated. There were also two small bird cages in the front left. But now to the important thing: the food was very, very bad! I have never eaten such bad Indian food. We hardly ate anything, the sauces looked like soups. The toilets weren't really clean either. I didn't eat there but ordered. The food arrived really quickly, but that was about it. The vegan briyani came with a yogurt sauce, the supplier assured that it was vegan, which was certainly not the case. I called several times to find out if that was the case. You can't reach anyone because after 3 rings the voicemail keeps answering and I wasn't called back either. The food was totally dry and didn't taste like anything. It was completely unsalted and salting dry food afterwards is bad for your bottom. I definitely won't order from here again, it's a real waste of money.

It was cold in the restaurant, the door was open, no heating. There was no carbonated water. The knife and napkin were missing from the cutlery case. The stairs to the toilets are dirty, as are the toilet rooms. Eating is not recommended.

It is unacceptable that as a customer I was left in the dark and ultimately left without dinner. The situation was made worse by the complete absence of any communication or apology from you. A simple call or message would have made a huge difference and maintained at least some semblance of customer service and respect. I understand that mistakes can happen, but it is how a company handles those mistakes that defines its integrity and customer service. The lack of communication and seemingly indifferent attitude towards my situation is not only frustrating but unacceptable. I hereby call on you to thoroughly investigate this incident and take measures to ensure that such events do not occur again. I expect a proper explanation and compensation for the inconvenience and poor service caused. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Borders on fraud. After 3 hours of waiting, the food was delivered. Food wasn't delivered and not even a phone call. However, the money has not yet been paid back.

The delivery was really fast, they took exactly 40 minutes to prepare and bring me the food. The cheese bread is the perfect choice, spiced and quite cheap, also you get 3-4 portions. The Mango curry was tasty but missing spicy, maybe even a bit plane but still really good
