Great, and very comfortable Indian restaurant in Berlin. We had fun and I recommend this restaurant without a doubt.

I recently ordered home delivery from them, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food arrived right on time piping hot and absolutely delicious. They paid close attention to my request for a Pakistani style preparation, and they delivered it to perfection. Every bite was exactly what I had hoped for! To top it all off, their gulaab jamun was the perfect sweet treat

Dear Maharaja India team, I would like to share my disappointing experience with my last order from your restaurant. Unfortunately, I have to address a few points that greatly affected my satisfaction: 1. Delayed delivery: Despite a stated delivery time of 45 minutes, it ultimately took 90 minutes for the order to arrive. The long wait was extremely unpleasant and disappointing. 2. Lack of quality of the chicken korma: We love chicken korma and were very disappointed with the quality of the dish, both in terms of taste and the amount of chicken meat. What we received was not satisfactory. 3. Customer service and chef's response: When I expressed my dissatisfaction over the phone, I was told that the chef had been cooking this way for 20 years and that the quality was normal. This does not meet my expectations and what I expect from an Indian restaurant. 4. Insufficient quantity and quality of ingredients: According to the chef, only 4 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of cream cheese were added to the dish, which is disproportionate to the price of €14.90. 5. Inappropriate behavior when making special requests: When we asked for extra rice, the supplier only gave us a small packet of rice with the comment that it was on the house. This is not an appropriate solution given the other problems. I am very sorry that my experience with your food delivery was so disappointing and I hope that you will consider these points to improve your quality and customer satisfaction.

Location, food are okay. Service is careless: small signals are noticeable that the guest is not necessarily the focus (candle on the table not lit for a long time, unlike usual with Indians, no welcome snack, you have to buy papadum, beer not completely full...)

We only ordered something to take away and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. But then he became very annoying. We had ordered chicken madras and chicken vindalou and naan. The food was okay, but the salad was pretty inedible. Next time I would like a fresh salad.

A wonderful experience! The food was delicious, authentic and perfectly seasoned. We would particularly like to emphasize the warm hospitality - we were there with our child and received an incredibly friendly welcome. Even the little ones were lovingly cared for. Absolutely recommended for families!

Highly unprofessional. After ordering the food , I had to wait for 20 minutes for starters and then another 30 minutes for the main course. I'm not sure whether I was the last person for the day or not. the food was terrible. Naan doesn't look freshly prepared. Overall, my experience was terrible. I visited some other indian restaurant yesterday, which was really good.

We ordered six months ago and everything was great. Now there were two (different!) hairs in the rice and the main courses all tasted pretty similar, even though they were different dishes.

This is one of the best restaurants in this area! The service, food, and atmosphere is top tier. You are greeted as if you are a part of their family! I have been here at least 5 times over and I have nothing but positive things to say! If you are looking for something spicy to eat order the Lamm chili or the chicken chili! Don’t forget to have their super soft and buttery butter Naan! After having a hearty meal, relax and enjoy a delicious mango shot (usually on the house)! Top teir restaurant for sure!

Incredible mittag menu meals , super affordable prices, amazing taste, and very friendly staff.

We ordered twice (via Lieferando) from this restaurant and the food and delivery service have never let us down! The delivery has always been fast, never more tha than half an hour of time, food is always hot when it arrives home. Their vegetarian thali was the first order of my husband and he loved it! Today we ordered for a second time and both daal makhani and the paneer dish were up to our expectations. We want to visit their restaurant in person soon!

We ordered our food via Lieferando. The specified time would be adhered to. Unfortunately the food was almost cold. The two soups were OK. My meal came with spicy sauce...that would have been nice...unfortunately the food was hardly seasoned. All in all very sobering.

Oh well. The butter chicken tasted mostly like sugar. The chicken in it had a slippery consistency. The rice was okay. The naan was also quite ok. But I definitely wouldn't order there again.

Indian restaurants in Berlin are a dime a dozen and the quality varies! We would classify this restaurant in the lower category. We found the ambience almost poor, the service was extremely slow even though the restaurant was only 25% occupied by guests. We found the food to be mediocre to bad and the prices in proportion to the service and the quality of the food were a disgrace! It's an absolute mystery to us how the positive reviews come about here, the demands seem to be very far apart for what you can expect for your money. So absolutely no recommendation, what a shame!

The first order through Lieferando was really good, which encouraged us to order here again. We were hoping to have found our new “standard Indian” here that delivers delicious food. Today I ordered separately based on the menu and was absolutely disappointed. The food today was clearly 1 star. It was at most lukewarm, completely tasteless (which is really an art with chicken korma) and the chicken meat wasn't completely cooked, which is really dangerous. Unfortunately, never again. I have now thrown away the menu card. A pity.

Very disappointed. Food received after 1 ¹/² hours. The potatoes were hard and the cauliflower was very firm to the bite. Too hard for my granddaughter. Haven't been able to convert the court into a children's court. Never again.

We (2) just wanted to go for a drink. The drinks are good value for money. But I would advise against ice cream. Since there were 3 ice cream balls in the pictures but only one came, we were disappointed, especially for the price of €5.50.

Had Worst Chicken and Paneer Jalfrezi!

Very tasty food, pretty spicy 😋 for spicy lovers. Relatively quick, uncomplicated delivery. The sauces could use a refresh. Everything OK.

We recently ordered there, a grill platter, butter chicken and panier korma. Delivery was quite quick! The food was indescribably delicious! I can't remember the last time we had such a delicious meal. Today I was there briefly and bought some mango soup: mmmmh! It tastes absolutely delicious!

Wenn ich etwas bestelle, dann eigentlich immer bei Euch. Das Essen schmeckt super gut, und neben der zügigen Lieferung sind die Lieferanten auch alle durchweg herzlich. Sie erinnern sich an einen und an unseren kleinen Sohn, sodass wir uns einfach immer freuen die Tür aufzumachen. Vielen Dank für die tollen Lieferungen und das großartige Essen!

Heute habe ich Essen liefern lassen von meinem Lieblingsrestaurant. Das Essen kam pünktlich zur bestellten Zeit an und war wie immer super lecker. Wir waren auch schon oft im Restaurant und haben uns dort immer wohl gefühlt und sehr gut gegessen. Der Service vor Ort ist perfekt.

Wir bestellen meist als Lieferung, haben aber auch schon selbst Essen abgeholt bzw. vor Ort gegessen. Es war immer ausgesprochen lecker. Zudem sind die Fahrer sehr schnell und zuvorkommend - keine Selbstverständlichkeit. In der Gegend vermutlich eines der besten indischen Restaurants, wenn nicht gar das Beste.

Das Essen war genauso gut wie der Service. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Essen kam 3h zu spät, schmeckte nicht lecker und als Entschuldigung gab es eine 0,2l Fanta. Nicht zu empfehlen. Weiterhin wurde gelogen, dass das Essen die ganze Zeit auf dem Weg zu uns war. Edit: Zu ihrer Antwort: Wir haben das Essen zu 19 Uhr bestellt und gegen 22 Uhr kam es an. Uns zu unterstellen das wir Lügen ist allerhand. Warum sollten wir das? Wir wollen anderen Kunden nur unsere Erfahrung schildern. Zudem haben wir 3 mal angerufen und angeblich sei die Bestellung unterwegs.

Super lecker. Lieferungen kommen total pünktlich, mit Zeitangabe (Bsp. 60 Minuten), Mitarbeiteralle total nett. Auch der Besuch vor Ort ist fantastisch.

Das Hähnchen war sehr knorpelig und nicht so lecker.

Had the chicken curry. Curry was tasteless, chicken too fatty, portions were enormous. Naan was undercooked. Staff was very friendly, decor was ok. Lassi definitively recommended!

Wir hatten mit einer Gruppe einen wunderschönen Abend bei herausragend gutem Essen und einem charmanten und fröhlichen schnellen Service. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Und dieses tolle Essen und die Getränke gab es zu einem verblüffend guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Petra, die Seele des Hauses, hat uns auch viel Freude gemacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vor einigen Jahren war ich hier absolut gerne und regelmäßig Essen gewesen, da es authentischer war als alles was sonst so im Umkreis angeboten wurde. Bei dem letzten Besuch im Restaurant war ich vom Essen bereits nicht mehr überzeugt worden, weshalb wir einige Zeit nicht mehr kamen. Gestern am Sonntag haben wir uns aber entschlossen dem Maharadscha eine weitere Chance zu geben. Leider wurde sie nicht genutzt. Wir haben um 16:42Uhr Essen zu 18Uhr vorbestellt. Das taten wir, um dem Restaurant eine realistische Chance zu geben, dass Essen an einem Sonntag rechtzeitig herstellen und Liefern zu können und wir im Gegenzug auch pünktlich essen können um Abends rechtzeitig aus dem Haus zu kommen. Um 18:30Uhr, also fast 2 Stunden nach Order, musste ich die Bestellung stornieren, weil wir zum einem das Haus verlassen mussten und zum anderen es einfach nicht akzeptabel ist trotz Vorbestellung über 30min Verspätung zu haben. Das kann ja immer aufgrund Mangels Personal o.ä. passieren, aber dann erwarte ich mindestens eine vernünftige Kommunikation im Vorfeld, das angegebene Zeit nicht eingehalten werden kann. Aber den Kunden einfach sitzen und warten zu lassen ist einfach daneben. Obwohl ich das Essen dann telefonisch abbestellt habe, kam der Fahrer dennoch und versucht das Essen auszuliefern, obwohl wir zu der Zeit nicht mehr im Haus waren. Stattdessen wurde versucht meinen Eltern das Essen aufzudrücken, die zufällig im selben Haus wohnen, aber glücklicherweise kein Bargeld zuhause hatten. Bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht von so einem Verhalten und für uns war es dann das letzte Mal das wir hier bestellt oder zu Gast waren.

Leider keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht. Service dauert lange, das Essen war wirklich nicht gut und alle Begleiter hatten danach Magenprobleme.

Wird mussten zwar etwas länger auf unser Essen warten, aber es war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und auch kinderfreundlich. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir können es nur empfehlen und gehen gerne wieder hin.

Wir lieben dieses Restaurant und sind immer super gerne hier! Das Essen ist authentisch, die Atmosphäre sehr gemütlich und die Mitarbeiter geben einem immer das Gefühl wilkommen zu sein. Besonders Petra und Yasin habe ich ins Herz geschlossen, da sie immer freundlich und offen sind. Meistens wissen sie, was ich bestellen möchte, bevor ich es selbst weiß! Ich kann dieses schöne Restaurant wirklich nur jedem empfehlen. Hier steckt wirklich sehr viel Liebe drin! Vielen Dank an das tolle Team für die ganzen schönen Abende!

Offiziell hat das Restaurant bis 23 Uhr geöffnet und wir bestellten um 21:30, erhielten unser Essen gegen 22 Uhr und wurden dann während des Essens um 22:20 gebeten, zu zahlen und das Restaurant zu verlassen, da sie anfangen wollten, aufzuräumen. Die Mitarbeiterin im Service machte sich noch an der Bar lautstark über die Höhe des Trinkgeldes lustig, was wir ziemlich daneben fanden (sie hatte uns bis dahin nicht bedient, kam nur zum abkassieren). Die anderen Servicemitarbeiter sind aber sehr freundlich. Das Essen war ok, wenn auch etwas fade und nicht rund im Geschmack. Auf der Tischdecke befanden sich Essensreste von Gästen vorher. Insgesamt ok, aber wiederkommen werden wir wohl nicht.
