Very tasty food and super nice young service. Connoisseurs of Indian cuisine naturally know that it is a good sign when the region is specified. I've never been to Punjab so I don't know if it's authentic, but what I can say is that it's very tasty and much better than the average corner shop. We would love to come back 😋

The most authentic Indian in Berlin - I always enjoy coming here. Mango lassi perfect - paneer tikka and palak paneer very authentic. The starters and sauces are super delicious. Everyone is perfectly happy here.

Here you can still get a variety of delicious food served even late at night, you will receive good advice on your selection and the service is very friendly. Attention from the kitchen shortens the waiting time and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

A modern, calm atmosphere. I was there with a friend from New Delhi and she found the food very authentic. Eating takes time, but it's worth it. It also tastes completely different than what we otherwise know as “Indian”. Please reserve in advance and get involved ;)

Schmackhafte indische Küche Bahadur ist ein kleines sympathisches Restaurant in einer ruhigen Ecke von Wilmersdorf. Die Küche ist vielseitig, frisch zubereitet und reicht von milden bis scharfen Gerichten. Die Gemüsegerichte sind ebenso köstlich und bekömmlich wie die Gerichte mit Huhn oder Lamm.

The food is really great! They even have some specials for weekend. The Amritsari Chole kulcha is amazing and very authentic. The service is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful ambiance! The collection of photos brings back a very retro India only seen in movies and museums. They have 1 rupees notes and nataraja statues which all add to the ambience! My only gripe with the place is less vegetarian options which is not a bad thing if you are a non-vegetarian and the vegetarian options that exist are amazing!

Very pleasant little restaurant with exceptionally tasty food and lemonades. The service is very attentive and courteous and gives good tips without being intrusive. We were here for a business lunch and were very impressed by the authentic and calm operation. The food was very tasty, very cheap and you can tell that this is done with heart. Gladly again, Dennis gets down to the basics: there are certainly many smartly designed and expensively furnished shops, but you can't eat that.

Incredible North Indian food. I have been in Berlin for quite some time now and been to multiple Indian restaurants and this is hands down the best. Super easy to reach from anywhere in Berlin. The kebabs are succulent and the dal is an absolute beauty. The dal makhni is a must try. Service was quite good and quick. The naan could be better though. It tasted and looked more like a lachcha paratha than an actual naan.

Being a food lover, I have visited many Indian restaurants and I recently visited your Restaurant with my friends, and we were delighted to find that the food quality, drinks, and service remain outstanding. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made our visit easy, helping us choose delicious dishes. The Paneer Tikka Masala was flavorful, the Dal Makhani rich and creamy, and the Butter Chicken perfectly tender. Since it was Sunday, we also enjoyed the Dum Biryani, which was fantastic. Their Indian cocktails were a delightful surprise, and the Mango Lassi was a sweet, refreshing finish. At the end, I can say that this Restaurant remains on our top choice for affordable, authentic North Indian cuisine in Berlin, offering a wonderful mix of traditional dishes and street food. I highly recommend this restaurant to others. Keep rocking Team!!

Simply the best Indian in town! Not as heavy as many Indian restaurants in Berlin, full of taste, good recommandations from the cook and the most adorable service ever!

Friend was “happy” with the chicken. But as a vegetarian (fish and cheese is fine), I have little desire for “another” cheese plate or “another” dish that is drowned in cream. I got a roll and five different types of porridge in different shades. When I go out, I want to have something to chew, not just rice and rolls and something to drink. Even though I didn't eat anything, I was charged the full price. The service was designed to accommodate English speaking guests. Maybe it was my mistake for trying to communicate in German.

The food is still some of the best Indian food you can find in Berlin! But the wine is far too expensive and there is no longer any Indian beer :( Instead of the purist original Bahadur, the restaurant has now been spruced up with a photo-prince ambience. Only the toilets are still... Indian ;)

I would like to give more stars, well seasoned. Half the food was bones. Suggestion for improvement: The chef should check the food before the food leaves the kitchen. The good food cost around €20 To the chef: Would you serve this to your friends/family?

A simple looking small restaurant. Firstly the service is good and fast and secondly the food is delicious. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes are delicious and served with rice or naan.

From prince of Punjab to beggar of Punjab! Bahadur was one of the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. These days are gone. Nowadays Prince of Punjab is disappointing with bad, overpriced cuisine. Not even using the word inauthentic but simply BAD food! Even the dhal was awful. The audacity to serve this as Indian food and charge 28€ for a thali is shocking!

Prince of Punjab / (formerly Restaurant Bahadur) von der Straße her unscheinbar, innen recht gemütlich sehr netter Service.. erklärt auch gern warum der Name geändert wurde, jetzt inhabergeführt.. das klingt viel versprechend.. kleine Auswahl an Speisen, dafür aber frisch zubereitet, was man heute sonst selten findet, Indisch gekocht, so wie man es sich wünscht scharf... die Chilischote zum Würzen wird fairer Weise separat mitgeliefert das könnte sonst uns Europäer vom Hocker hauen..

Nice cozy place! I always go here to have “Rani Thali” coz I am Ranu ;) hahah just kidding!! It’s yummy veg thali which has everything, just add a bread more and it is more than sufficient for 2 people! Do remember to ask for their special spicy green chutney & sirka pyaaz

I eat Indian food a lot. But this Indian restaurant is by far the best in Berlin. The dishes are traditional but still special. The service is super friendly and you have a family feeling. The furnishings are simple but nice and the prices are appropriate given the higher quality.

Terrible Experience at Prince of Punjab Restaurant I recently had an appalling experience at the Prince of Punjab restaurant in Berlin. Despite enjoying my meal and drinks peacefully, my night took a drastic turn when I became the target of blatant racism from the staff. As the last patron in the restaurant, I had settled my bill and engaged in a friendly conversation with one of the workers who introduced himself as being from my hometown in India. However, the situation quickly deteriorated when another staff member arrived and referred to me using derogatory language in Hindi, openly planning to let me leave later while making derogatory remarks about me to his colleagues. The level of disrespect and racism displayed by the staff was utterly unacceptable. When I confronted the individual about his offensive behavior, instead of addressing the issue, I was met with further hostility. To make matters worse, another staff member intervened, not to address the racism, but to demand that I leave the premises. The behavior exhibited by the staff at Prince of Punjab reflects a toxic work culture and a complete disregard for customer respect and dignity. No one should have to endure such treatment, especially in a supposedly reputable establishment. I strongly advise against patronizing this restaurant until they address and rectify their deplorable behavior.

Absolute recommendation. Friendly staff and food of absolute top quality. If you want to eat authentic Indian food in Berlin, this is the right place for you.

We, 2 princesses, had "Thali", one vegetarian, one with meat. Both were excellent. We got a good spot over lunch on Sunday. So repeating is the order of the day.

The best indian food in Berlin!

I am quite sensitive when it comes to additives and pre-made foods. I could definitely feel that the food was freshly prepared and with good ingredients, which has been quite difficult to find in other Indian restaurants. Definitely recommended!

I have loved this restaurant for many years and go there once a month from Kreuzberg. For me there is no better Indian food in Berlin.

Unfortunately, the food was just average, but totally overpriced, e.g. 3 lamb chops for over 25.00 euros. Meat relatively dry and no side dish except some rice, a small bowl of sauce and an onion! Furnishings very spartan and uncomfortable, loud Indian music. You won't see me there anymore, Berlin has so many better Indian restaurants.

A very promising first visit for me. The service was very good and friendly, the food was so delicious that we would like to come back. The minced lamb skewers from the tandoor oven are recommended. A reservation is a good idea.

We ordered one item for takeaway, madras chicken (hot) and we specifically told them to make it Indian spicy. Not only is this place over priced we were charged 17.5 for a curry but also it wasn’t made according to our preference. It did not have madras chicken curry essence but had South Indian sweet sambar. Extremely disappointing. If you are an Indian looking for decent Indian food don’t go here
