We're still here, so I can't say much yet, BUT: • We got a table quickly, even without a reservation. • The food arrived before the drinks. • The Mosquito/White Lotus was sold to me as a Mango Kiss because the waiter seems to be a newcomer to the business and doesn't know anything about cocktails. My friend corrected me: Apparently, my hearing isn't quite right, because he did say "White Lotus." • While my hearing isn't perfect, my tongue is, and she immediately recognized the chili powder on the salad. That should be on the menu. • The color scheme is very well thought out and reflected in numerous details. • The ambiance is very nice and fits the Indian theme, although the numerous TVs showing German landscapes don't exactly enhance the decor. • The music is just "BOOM BOOM BOOM." Delicious...but 5,40€ for ,4L is ridiculous... especially since it was cheaper than the large water. Please consider making it cheaper for the healthier (and actually market cheaper) option. The chicken tikka was delicious.

The culinary arts are a true work of art—like a feast in a king's hall. The dishes are of such perfection that even the most discerning palates pause and indulge in silent delight. Every bite is like a verse in a poem, extolling abundance, flavor, and harmony. No less worthy of praise is the exquisite staff, who serve guests with courtesy and cordiality, as if they were knights and maids at court, always intent on increasing their guests' prosperity and joy. And oh, what a drink!—the beverages of this establishment are like a treasure housed in golden vessels. Special praise goes to the Long Island Iced Tea, that noble brew prepared with such masterly skill that even Bacchus raises his cup in benevolence. The amount of cola is so artfully measured that it doesn't overwhelm the work, but rather completes it – like the final, perfect brushstroke on a painting. In short: This house is a haven of enjoyment and a place for all who crave food and drink of the highest quality.

My 12-year-old nephew tried Indian food for the first time, and thanks to this restaurant, he now thinks Indian cuisine is the best food in the world. The staff were very friendly, the service was fast, and the food was incredibly delicious. We were offered complimentary rice, papadum, and salad. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I went to dinner with my partner and we didn't like it at all. The food tasted bad, greasy, and seemed to have been prepared for a while. I mentioned it to the waiter, but he just said he'd tell the kitchen. Obviously, they charged for everything even though we returned a dish. So I wouldn't repeat it or, of course, recommend it. I don't understand why it gets 4.6 points.

I chose butter chicken and bhatura bread! It was a hit! It was my first time in an Indian restaurant and I will definitely visit again! Even though the photos don't look perfect, believe me that you will be satisfied and full! The portions are large. The taste of these dishes is honey to my heart! Unfortunately, I don't remember what my friends ordered, but they were also in love! It's worth visiting, it's better to book a place in advance! Now I will dream about these dishes... I can't wait to go back there!

It was the worst Indian food I had ever had in my life! I had ordered and my place is not too far. For the first time ever I had the worst food. I had ordered Kadhai Paneer and Garlic Naan. I will write down my concerns in points below. 1. The Chef does not know what is Garlic Naan as the Naan which I had received was without Garlic (OHNE)!! 2. The Chef does not know what is the key and vital ingredient of Kadhai Paneer where in the Kadhai Masala was completely missing in the curry! I am appalled by the quality of Indian food served by the restaurant as it is nowhere close to basic resemblance of anything close to Indian. Now someone can argue that the food is adjusted for a global/western palate and I completely agree!! However, even a non indian would know when they order Garlic Naan there has to be “Garlic” on it!! And do not let me get started on Kadhai paneer. The onions and gravy were uncooked.. and no there is no Kalonji in such a high quantities in any versions of Kadhai Paneer (check the attached pic.. those are the black specks) which I ever had in my life and there were many… and the main thing called Kadhai Masala made of “whole dhaniya/ coriander seeds” were altogether missing!!!! So, definitely Vedis you are not excused for your poor quality of food and incorrect and poor representation of Indian cuisine! I have also attached pictures!! My review is purely based on the two items which I had ordered!! So stay away from these two things!!!!

It's been a long time since we've had Indian food. It was really wonderful. Not too curry heavy. Large selection of food and drinks (cocktails) and suitable for vegetarians. Everyone enjoyed it. If it's right, we'd be happy to come back.

Were seriously ripped off here. My girlfriend had sex on the beach for €6.50 and two days later we saw on the bank statement that €65.80 had been deducted. Even when we arrived with ID and bank statement, there was still 10 minutes of back and forth discussion about how that could be and that at the end of the evening the checkout was correct. The cocktails are cheap, but I don't want to know what they put in them because some friends got really sick after just two drinks. Not recommended!!!!

I recently attended a birthday dinner for a friend at Verdis, and frankly, the experience left much to be desired. Right from the start, we were reminded of our limited time at the table, setting an unwelcoming tone that persisted throughout the evening. Despite being a party of six, we felt hurried and pressured to finish our meal quickly. To add insult to injury, when our party finally split, we were guided to another table, further highlighting the unnecessary rush we had endured. It was baffling to see that the party who took our spot only stayed for a drink, making the hurried service even more unjustified. What's worse, we had explicitly mentioned that we were gathering for a birthday celebration, expecting at least a modicum of consideration for the occasion. Unfortunately, it seemed our special event was of little importance to the staff at Verdis. Now, onto the food—disappointing would be an understatement. The flavors were lackluster, a far cry from the exceptional quality I've come to expect from Verdis. And let's talk about the cocktails. While I appreciate a strong drink, these were downright undrinkable, tasting more like pure rum or gin than a well-balanced cocktail. It's as if they forgot the concept of moderation altogether. Overall, Verdis fell short of its reputation. With subpar service and lackluster food and drinks, I can't help but feel let down. Here's hoping they step up their game and return to the standards that once made them a standout choice. Until then, I'll be exploring other dining options. ---------------- Somewhen 2022: 5 stars Friendly staff, as far as I can judge the food is good and tasty.
