My favorite Indian restaurant. I go there often and love it (even with guests). The service is always friendly, the prices are fair, and the atmosphere is lovely. The food is consistently excellent, with a wide selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes. The cocktails are also highly recommended; there's a great variety to choose from as well.

The price-performance ratio for a menu deserves a full 5 stars.

I think the food is absolutely delicious. The vegetarian selection is incredibly large, and it's not just the typical standard dishes.

I ordered the lunch special, Lamb Khumb Wala with mushrooms in a cream sauce with ginger and saffron. This time it was prepared without any care; the mushrooms and meat were in very large pieces, the mushrooms were half-raw, the spiced tea was very weak, and the server seemed new and unprofessional. I had to wait a long time for my order and payment. Update: The same lamb dish was very good on my next visit, but the tip was only accepted with a reproachful look. I ate the dish again on August 5, 2024. The sauce was very thick this time, much spicier, and had a strangely strong taste. I should have sent it back; it didn't agree with me at all. The service was good. Overall, I get the impression that they put less effort into the specials, because, for example, the sauce on the lamb with vegetables and curry sauce was very thin. At the beginning of November, the lunch special, Lamb Kumbwala, was excellent: a large portion, the rest was packed up, and the service was also very friendly.

Dining at this restaurant is a wonderful experience. I always enjoy coming here.

Delicious food and very nice service

The food is very good. The outdoor terrace on the street is too noisy; there's a separate room for smokers.

No matter what we've ordered there, everything is delicious and fresh. The tomato soup is a dream, and the pickled onion in the salad is also a hit.

We ordered the shahi paneer with garlic naan, and it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the paneer pakora as a starter, which was also delicious.

Since opening 19 years ago, the food has always been consistently delicious and of the highest quality. Excellent! Highly recommended! The staff is incredibly attentive. Here, "the customer is king." Today I treated myself to chicken masala with my favorite bhatura. Papadum (already devoured 😂) and the three sauces are always complimentary.

We had lunch with rice and salad, highly recommended for a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere, slightly older rooms, but the toilets were top-notch.

It's simply a pleasure every time, this way of seasoning... I've never had such delicious food in any other Indian restaurant. ADDITIONAL NOTE: Unfortunately, I feel the quality of the food has declined. It's a shame, but I'm not as enthusiastic about it anymore. But that's just my perception; perhaps the cuisine has just changed, and I don't like that direction.

Das Aanjal ist ein gutes indisches Restaurant. Das Speisenangebot ist vielfältig und es werden auch Menüs in der Karte aufgeführt. Eine Cocktailkarte mit preiswerten Drinks mit und ohne Alkohol gibt es auch. Kinder bekommen notfalls auch Ausweichessen, falls das indische nicht passt (Z.B. Fritten). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und prompt unterwegs. Hier kann man auch draussen sitzen und Platz für größere Gruppen gibt es ebenfalls (Specials für Geburtstagskinder u.a.). Preis/ Leistung stimmt.

The shop has been around for a long time. The food is good (except for the Indian vegetable soup, which tastes like nothing more than vegetable broth and a thickener). However, the prices have become outrageous. A platter of three dishes for two people costs €53, and a spritzer costs €4.50. Hence, two stars deducted.

We are thrilled with the restaurant. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable. We felt very comfortable and will eat here again. Attentive service, I highly recommend it.

Top Indian cuisine and service is always good too.

We've been there several times, but it seems like there's been a change of management. Unfortunately, it's also noticeable in the food. Every time we get Bathura – this time it's completely scorched, left in the oil for far too long. It tasted like it had been reheated and was dripping with fat. We complained, but they still charged us. We'll see how it goes.

I would highly recommend this restaurant for authentic indian food. Their bhindi masala and paneer pakodas are amazing but also paneer curries. The staff is very friendly and soft spoken. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Unfortunately, I eat much better in Berlin-Mitte, in a much nicer setting. Since when do you have to charge a fee for paying by card? We all love eating out at restaurants often and have never experienced anything like this before. The service was unfriendly. The food was very tasteless and the portions were very small. Good Indian cuisine at a fair price

So far our regular Indian restaurant in Reinickendorf, unfortunately we haven't been able to visit it for a few months, but finally again today... but it was disappointing. The dishes we usually ordered tasted different than they did nine months ago, especially the ButterLamb sauce tasted bland and somehow more like a somewhat spicy spaghetti tomato sauce. That was a shame, because it is otherwise one of my absolute favorite foods. The starters also didn't impress us as much as usual. Maybe there's a new chef??? Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to ask. We'll test it again soon, maybe it was an exception. The service staff was very nice, as always, and the fruit cocktail also tasted delicious.

I used to hate lentils; here they transformed them into a dish I could really dig into. And I didn't mind that it was vegetarian, which is an exception for me.

Your wishes are no obstacle here and the service is good to “too good”. Individual place settings were already being cleared away while the others in the group were still eating. Well, that wasn't pretty, but it wasn't tragic either. The food is always very well prepared and tastes really good. A visit is definitely worth it and I can recommend it with a very clear conscience!

I had Matter Paneer. The paneer wasn't cooked. Never again.

The go-to restaurant for Indian food for me, my son and friends for 20 years. I know others where the ambience is more chic and more attractive. But we feel comfortable here. The food is always of the same standard and it is always friendly.

We're actually regulars, but haven't eaten there recently for a variety of reasons. Recently it made sense to save ourselves the trouble of cooking ourselves and let Aanjal pamper ourselves and our guests with delicious food. We were there shortly after opening and were very surprised: the vegetables were overcooked and there was no seasoning at all. What a shame!

For many years I have always gone to the restaurant at least once when I am in Berlin for a short time.

I like the Aanjal if there were still parking spaces it would be unbeatable. But the food is tasty, hot and comes quickly when it's full. Service very helpful and friendly. I like eating there.

We love Aanjal and have been eating here for over 6 years. We love Indian food and the ambience. No restaurant in Berlin and the surrounding area has been able to impress us as much as Aanjal here in Reinickendorf. Even though we moved away 3 years ago, we are taking the long journey. It's worth it every time

So this shop and taste and price everything is heavenly. And a rest before the Lord. I really enjoy going out to eat, but I recently had a very tasty meal at Amrit and everything was good. But the volume a) from the audience was so loud, worse than at the train station. And here there was a calm like an oasis where you can eat while meditating. But Aanjal is unbeatable.

We have been coming to this beautiful Indian restaurant for many years and are very enchanted by the entire ambience of the restaurant and the variety of food and drinks. Yesterday I was there again with grandma and we had two soups, Indian chai and took two more meals home with us. Whether lunch, dinner, buffet or take away. Eating out is always a lovely experience and highly recommended. The entire staff of the restaurant is also very sensitive and courteous and always strives to make the guests feel comfortable.

Liebes Aanjal Team. Wir kommen schon seit Jahren zu Euch und immer wieder ist der Besuch des Restaurant ein sehr angenehmes Erlebnis. Es gibt eine sehr grosse Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten und jedes Mal war es bis jetzt sehr geschmackvoll. Das Restaurant selbst hat auch eine sehr angenehme entspannende Atmosphäre. Alle sind sehr freundlich und gehen auf die verschiedenen Kundenwünsche ein. Inzwischen waren schon alle Familienmitglieder hier und empfinden es auch so. Sehr zu empfehlen und auch gut zu erreichen mit der Ubahn, Sbahn oder auch dem Bus/Auto Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit Essen mitzunehmen oder ein Buffet zu bestellen. Gerne selbst vorbeikommen und wohlfühlen. 🥰

Would recommend this restaurant to everyone as my family and myself upon our second visit were very comfortable when it came to the food,hardly any delay in waiting to be served,very pleasant staff always with a smile on the face and above all fabulous food for which I would commend the chef.in addition to my surprise the owner himself whose name i have yet to find out provides a waiter service alongside his staff.i refer to him as Sardarji and would say he will go a long way in the success of his restaurant.congrats Sardarji.i look forward to my third and many more dining experiences at this restaurant.

I have been coming here regularly for over 10 years, often several times a week. Whether alone during the lunch break, with friends or my family. The quality of the food and the service from the waiters is always very good. The portions are really large (even with the very inexpensive daily specials). Our children (8 and 3 years old) also love it and would love to eat here every day because they always receive a very friendly welcome.
