Definitively my favorite Indian restaurant in Berlin. Never deceived. I took my friend from India there and she is of the same opinion that the food is very good. I really recommend the palaak paneer, the naan's, the butter chicken... Everything in fact!!

Beautiful authentic Indian food. Butter chicken, naan bread, chicken Tikka, wine and ad dessert mango lassie. We left happy with great tentative service and a good bill. Could not be happier. Well Maybe a sign saying "no video calls" if I need say anything❤️ But the waiter handled the situation well. Thank you.

Man, that was delicious! We were visiting Berlin and also enjoy eating Indian food at home. So I searched the internet for a recommendation and found it. Everything is correct as described. Totally, the result is even better than our previous favorite restaurant in Braunschweig. What was new here was the opportunity to get cheap and delicious cocktails. If I'm trying hard to find a small criticism, the food wasn't quite hot but was so good that you could eat it much faster now 😉 Highly recommended and many thanks to the Delhi 6 team. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Service was poor, it took over 1 hour to get our food. The waiter laughed when we asked how long it was going to take. He answered it could be 20 to 30 mins more. The food was average, we get so much better Indian food in the UK. However, as there probably isn't much competition people will just accept mediocre food and poor service.

Rice was bad, waited for ages to pay the bill. Not suitable. 😒 #BadFood #BadService

If you miss real Indian food, this is the place to be! We had the thali both non veg and veg and both were excellent! Our waitress Mamta was very warm and friendly. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Fabulosos cócteles a buen precio, disfruté de mi pina colada... una compañera inusual para curry. Poppadums complementarios y mango con vodka fueron toques agradables. Agradables porciones generosas de cordero y pollo al curry y un muy buen naan de ajo. Servicio muy agradable también.

I recently visited this restaurant despite my friend's negative experience, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, my visit was disappointing. I ordered the chicken biryani, which consisted of just two pieces of meat in a bland rice dish. The service was subpar, leaving much to be desired. It appears that negative reviews are often removed, which is concerning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food is ok, but beware: always take the daily menu/business menu during the week. Otherwise, everyone will be served before you, and you will be waiting for at least 45 minutes. I had to take away in the end cause I needed to go back to work. And it's better if you come before 12:30. Also, I just came back to the restaurant with my team and they just mixed our orders and therefore our food was delayed and we had to wait 30 minutes in total and someone's food was just cold (so for this reason I changed my 3 stars to 2 stars). Fool me twice, shame on me.

We got a table quickly. Unfortunately, this was in the covered and heated outdoor area, where there was actually a bit of a draft on the window. Upon request, the nice waiter gave us another table straight away. Where I am at the service. Without any objections, an absolutely capable and extremely friendly staff. Drinks and non-alcoholic cocktails were delicious. And now the most important thing… The food was a 1 with 5 stars. Absolutely delicious and very inexpensive for Berlin standards! We would 1000 percent like to come back!!!

A feast of flavors. Perfectly prepared, fast, tasty. My Chicken tikka has a balanced taste, the bread is simply perfect, crunchy and delicate at the same time. The butter chicken that my son ate was amazing. Everyone was happy and full. The only small minus is probably 🤔 tapioca to start.... too spicy for young people 💥

For starters we chose Garlic Naan and Bhatura, both of which were freshly made, still hot and incredibly tasty. For the main courses we chose Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry, Chicken Korma and Lamb Korma. While the Butter Chicken was unfortunately a bit too sweet in our opinion and didn't convince us, the Lamb Korma and Chicken Korma in particular were extremely aromatic and perfectly seasoned. At the end there was an espresso on the house, which we were very happy about and rounded off the evening perfectly. Overall, a recommended restaurant, especially for fans of Indian cuisine. The service, the freshly prepared food and the nice gesture at the end make the visit a completely successful experience. We'd love to come back!

Good food at good prices. Good Indian, limited menu with great, well-made dishes. We were sitting in the annex of the shop and unfortunately it was a bit droopy. The food came quickly, everything was reasonably priced and the service was very nice and accommodating.

The food was compared to other Indian restaurants "okay". The service, due to my opinion, was partly unfriendly and unflexible. Due to a misunderstanding some bread was delivered and not taken back.

A bit pricey, and didn't fill me completely, but good quality. The service were a bit annoying though by constantly asking if 'everything is alright' in the worst possible moments.

One of the worst indian restaurants, i have visited in berlin. We ordered tandoori chicken and Chicken Biryani, they were absolutely worst. In the name of tandoori it looked like 3 chicken pieces taken out from some chicken curry put on a sizzler plate thats it, it did not like or taste like tandoori at all. Coming to chicken biryani, it was more like pulav rather than biryani and was served with achaar.

The food and service were good. I only give it 4 stars because the packaging for takeaway food is no longer up to date. It is currently made of aluminum and Styrofoam, which is extremely bad for the environment. I would like to see people switch to more environmentally friendly packaging materials like other restaurants in the future. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Authentic Indian cuisine, pleasant spiciness.

I finally got to enjoy the experience of an authentic Indian restaurant and it more than lived up to my expectations! The menu was full of tempting dishes that all sounded exciting. The portions were generous, especially when combined with fresh naan, and the taste was simply outstanding! There was also attentive and friendly service, which rounded off the evening perfectly. A truly fantastic experience!

Was there for dinner with colleagues. The atmosphere is really nice, cozy, but that's about it. The service was grumpy, unfriendly and slow. After we had to wait half an eternity for our food, it was still really cold. We wanted to have it returned, which initially led to discussions from the staff. They reluctantly took the cold food with them, obviously just put it in the microwave briefly and brought it back to the table after 5 minutes. The prices were rather exorbitant for this poor service. My conclusion: there are plenty of Indian restaurants in Berlin that are 1000x better.

This Delhi6 Special Thali was one of the best, if not the best, Indian dishes I had in my entire life. Such a pity we don't have anything on this level in Stockholm. I could go back to Berlin simply for this dish - I don't have any words to explain this plate other than that it was amazing!!! THANK YOU!!

This place has good vegetarian gravies food like paneer, thali, dal makhani however, chicken briyani wasn’t worth it! It was very dry and for 18.90€ quantity was too less! I am not sure why they named as briyani of the day! Go for the veg options, you won’t regret it! They have good garlic naan too!

Very good food, Affordable Price

I had gone for lunch to the restaurant. The food was amazing really like it , I recommend it !

It used to be a great restaurant, but a recent visit this week made me realise that has changed. The food was bad, the prices were almost double and the service was also bad. Somewhat racist towards us, because we are Indians and didn’t have a large order for just two people. If you can avoid this restaurant, then please do. Don’t get fooled by its 3.5k reviews- the good ones are from the older one where prices were low and the food was great.

EXCEPTIONAL!! Last dinner of a 15 day German vacation, and this was our favorite meal. Rolled in with a group of 10 and they juggled a few tables to get us a seat. The food was authentic Indian, on par with the restaurants I've had in the Middle East and London. If you're near Checkpoint Charlie and want a great dinner, take the 10 minute walk straight South - out of the 'tourist central' to this great local hangout. Thank you for your hospitality, Mamta, you were the highlight of our vacation :).

We went there on a weekday, the restaurant was completely empty. The waitress taking the order was not very welcoming from the beginning. We ordered some veg and chicken dishes, the chicken dish was horrible. And then the waitress behaved like they have the most unique chicken tikka masala on the planet, she even said “I do not recommend chicken tikka masala to Indians”, wow, seriously? The dish was completely sour and had too much salt, they changed the dish in the end but it was such a bad experience. Wouldn’t go there ever again. Please consider changing your staff if you read this review.

Large restaurant with excellent Indian food. I called ahead and it was no longer possible to reserve a table online. Friendly service and nice decoration. This is my second time here and the first time was also very good.

Absolutely not happy with the service. The staff was not happy to serve the guests which made the experience really bad. The vegetarian food was good. The short waitress with the straight, highlighted hair was rude and even yelled at the fellow waitress/bartender, which was really disrespectful to her. Although the skinny waitress/bartender was super friendly and nice to us and others. The owner should pay attention to the working environment of the restaurant.

We ordered 2 chicken dishes and 1 veg dish. The taste is really horrible, sorry to say this. Chicken didn't cook properly and taste is not great too. Palak panner paste is really bad without any texture.

Das Essen war einfach nur lecker. Die Atmosphäre war einladend und gemütlich. Auf die Wünsche der Kinder wurde eingegangen. Preislich-Leistung stimmte 100% wie kommen gerne wieder.

We ordered these two things, in the delhi 6 special thali mix, the lamb was the best, the chicken was ok, the cream sauce, let's just say, is very thin and tasteless, this green sauce is very spicy, I didn't like the tuna, although it was ok roast.
