Food was good but service was too slow they only had one person who receive order and still slow. They took 30 min to prepare food. And if u r going with ur any special friend then its not recommend if u wanna try food for one time u can visit once a life

I had my dinner and lunch but found naans and rice to be not fresh and tested not fresh. I also ordered Thali on the second day for lunch and wanted to take away the left overs, but she denied straight away. However upon several requests and offering to give extra money for this she agreed to pack the left overs for me. She didn't charge for this but I was reminded that she will not do this again. Having said that, there were very limited options for vegetarians. I felt this restaurant was overly hyped.

Their food is not good at all. Specially their thali. Mix veg and chick pea curry were stale. They also charge $3 euro for 250ml water because they don’t have free water, Adding 2 rotis on top of it bill comes more then $20 euro and their thali price listed for $8.90. Definitely not the worth what you are paying.

We had lunch at Delhi 6 Restaurant on our final day in Berlin, and it was a fantastic experience! We ordered the Veg Thali, which came with three curry dishes—Paneer Korma, Mixed Veg, and Chole—and added a Paneer Onion Kulcha as an extra. All the dishes were absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic flavors and rich taste. I must say, the Paneer Onion Kulcha was one of the best I’ve had outside India in many years—perfectly prepared and truly delicious. Thank you for such a delightful meal. We highly recommend Delhi 6 to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience in Berlin!

For me best authentic Indian food in Berlin. The food is little expensive compared to other famous Indian restaurants here but it is worth paying for.

Rarely eaten so badly. the starter was colder than it should be. The drink was different than what was ordered. and then the cherry on top: the food was extremely hard. My meat was probably from the day before. This is absolutely unacceptable and an absolute no go. The waiter took away my full plate without saying a word. He didn't use a syllable to ask if it was tasty. Well... he could have guessed the answer. The tables and seats were estimated to be 60% dirty. There were crumbs and fat everywhere. also on the menus🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮 Unfortunately, I don't understand recessions. There's absolutely nothing wrong here. the dishes are not exactly cheap. This is difficult if you have nutritional intolerances. The dishes are all already ready. once and never again.

The butter chicken was tasty and plentiful for the price. Compared to other statements, we weren't so convinced of the vegan offering, and it wasn't plentiful either. I chose the thali from the lunch menu. Dishes on the lunch menu would always be served with soup and bread. We asked for a vegan starter like pakora or something similar. There was nothing. I was only able to order a small starter salad when I asked. When I asked further what the soup and bread would be like, I was told that it wasn't vegan, which is why my small salad wouldn't be charged; a small salad that was simply served with the butter chicken without asking or ordering. The thali itself was very tasty (except for the spicy paste), although a smaller bowl of rice than the butter chicken and the three vegetable bowls were small and not well filled. Due to the lack of soup and bread and other offerings, I left the store somewhat dissatisfied and, above all, hungry.

To be very honest its the most closest indian food I have eaten in a foreign land. The ambience, service and the food all just amazing. A must try is the “Veg thali” Take it from a person who has tried all indian food over berlin, this one is just wow. Talking about the cost its a little high but its worth thr price, one must try the food here once for sure.👌

The food was outstanding—each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions were just right, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. This is the kind of place where every bite makes you want to come back for more. Indians would love this place. Costly but cherishable. A true delight!

Food was great. I had the non veg thali. Just that the quantity of rice should have been a little more. The yummiest in the thali was the lamb portion if you like it spicy.

The restaurant is beautiful. The service is very formal, not too friendly. The food is very average, not spicy at all even if I asked to have my dish very spicy. But it's fresh and well cooked. Vegetable curry was too oily but the bean dishes in the lunch thali were nice. Not mind blowing or something exceptional but basic nice food.

The atmosphere is good, the service was fast, we ordered 4 different dishes, and food was brought very quickly. The taste of all the dishes was good. Serving was nice, but the spicies among dishes were not as vibrant as sometimes Indian cuisine is. Maybee, I should have asked for the food to be more flavored and less safe :)

Good portions with nice service

We came by here purely by chance. The food was great. The prices are more than okay. Great location. Hardly any car traffic. We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

Because of various positive reports online, I wanted to try this restaurant. When you enter, the ambience doesn't seem very modern, sometimes even a bit outdated. The service was correct, but not particularly friendly and accommodating - you were ignored when leaving the restaurant. The taste of my chicken was mediocre to good, although it was a decent portion, but the meat wasn't really well done. Unusual: a small bowl of rice is NOT included and must be ordered separately for €2.90. I've never experienced that before and it doesn't actually make any sense, because who eats lamb or chicken without any side dish? Conclusion: the hype is not necessarily justified, you can eat well here, but it is not necessarily a “must visit” either. At least the prices are still very cheap compared to Munich.

One of the worst indian restaurants, i have visited in beelin. We ordered tandoori chicken and Chicken Biryani, they were absolutely worst. In the name of tandoori it looked like 3 chicken pieces taken out from some chicken curry put on a sizzler plate thats it, it did not like or taste like tandoori at all. Coming to chicken biryani, it was more like pulav rather than biryani and was served with achaar.

I became aware of Delhi 6 through social media platforms. Then I thought to myself, I would like to eat here. The staff was not friendly from start to finish, there was just a greeting when you entered. I then asked questions about certain dishes, and the answers were not very detailed and somewhat mushy. The dish “Chicken Tikka” tasted good, the meat is not as tender and visually good-looking as at the Indian Restaurant Amrit. The second dish was called “Chicken Korma”, which was nothing unusual as it actually tasted better from the chicken stand. A lot of time went by without anyone even asking if everything was OK, so I had to get up myself and ask for the bill to be paid. If you choose to pay with a card, you will be asked in advance whether you would like to pay an additional tip. I said no and when you left the restaurant there was no farewell and everyone just looked grim. I have already written a complaint to the email address provided on the website. Just with an apology that things will be different on the next visit. However, nothing here could convince me to come back again and I would also recommend alternative restaurants.

Though the ambience was good the staff were rude and food was below average...Lassi was literally buttermilk...even after they rectified it , was the same..chicken. pakodas were bad...and chicken curry was pathetic...overall a bad experience..don't recommend them at all.

Words can't even begin to describe to how terrible this place is. This might just be the most misleading restaurant I have ever been to. After seeing its online profile of 4.5 stars and over 3,000 reviews, we mistakenly thought this place was decent. I repeat, do not trust the other reviews! Firstly, we had to wait what felt like an eternity for our food to arrive. When it finally did, we could not have been more disappointed. The curry had practically no meat and the flavor was abysmal. On top of that, rice was not included and cost over three euros for a small scoop. The last straw was the extremely high cost. Unless you're willing to spend an enormous amount of money for small servings of subpar food, I really cannot recommend this restaurant.

From all the comments I thought I would experience good Indian food. But they were very small, overpriced portions that really didn't taste particularly good. I only realized after eating that I hadn't even received the food I ordered. Instead of paneer there was only a vegetable sauce. I couldn't even finish eating and the worst thing is that my girlfriend and I are now suffering from stomach pains. Never again!

Unfortunately the food was not up to the quality. There is lot of efforts needed to bring the Indian authenticity back. Offcourse they might be tired for the day but as customers we seek your opinion and suggestions when we arrive and if the reaction is like ‘This is what it is’ or ‘this is how it is made ‘then we will be more disappointed. Nevertheless ambiance and garlic nan was good.

I could have given 10 stars if could. This restaurant is best for Indian vegetarian options. Highly recommend to all persons. Late night craving can be satisfied too until 12am. I went here for two times in 2day Berlin trip. Had such a wonderful experience with nice ambience. I tried veg Thali. More than Sufficient quantity to quench your hunger. Easily accessible by Berlin hbf. Simply a bus directly behind restaurant 3mins walk.

The food was rather tasty. Although the place was not really very pleasant to spend time in. The vibe is rather of a regular diner, with lots of tables squeezed next to each other.

First and foremost I like the interior of the restaurant moreover, staff was so welcoming with smiling faces . Food is too delicious and Indian cocktails are good in taste especially: chulbul pandey . I definitely come again.☺️

Great restaurant. Very tasty food, very friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere. I wasn't actually that excited to eat here, but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and with generous portions, for a not too expensive price. There were also many vegetarian options. The staff was kind enough to speak a little German with us, and to adapt their language so that we could still use our very limited German :) Really nice, definitely come and eat here!!!

The service was great and prices are average. The chicken korma was not that great. Probably because I’ve been to India and tasted the original one ))) Staff is friendly. Menu is limited in main dishes. Location is nice in the middle of the neighborhood.

Food was very delicious! We had the Chicken Tikka Masala with Naan and the Chicken Korma with Bhatura - we ordered a small portion of rice with it. Service was very friendly and always tried hard, but a bit clumsy when clearing up. Interior very nice and tidy - outside area a bit more uncomfortable due to the surroundings, but still quiet.

I was there on a Saturday evening and only treated myself to 2 cocktails. They were both really delicious too. Ambiance was typically Indian, just like the music that was playing in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the toilet wasn't that clean and the door was a bit stuck. Unfortunately I cannot rate the food, so this is not included in my rating. I'll definitely come back again with friends.

Main dishes come without rice (need to order separately even though the price is not cheap). We wanted to cancel a dish 1 minute after ordering and were told it's not possible (they eventually canceled after an argument). The food was nevertheless good

THEY TAKE ALL THE BAD REVIEWS OFF THE NETWORK.. THEY REPORT THEM AS DEFAMATION!!!! So don't be fooled by these numerous good reviews... there are probably several thousand 1 star reviews missing. Here is my honest experience in this store: I'm very disappointed with this store.. it's just a rip off.. We wanted to order something to eat and drink straight away, all in one go, but the waiter absolutely insisted that we should order something to drink first... so we did so and after about 20 minutes the waiter came back and before we even had anything He told us directly: “Just so you know: we don’t have rice, you have to order it separately.. and eating it can take up to 40 minutes.” Yes, great, now I know why he let us order drinks in the first place. Otherwise I would have gotten up and left Also buy rice for 3-4 euros.. that's nonsense.. the store is just ripping off..

We went to this place just because of the stellar google reviews but we had a super weird experience here. The waiter was rude in general. First it was hard to get someone to talk to us. He had no clue about their menu and was asking their kitchen. He seemed not interested in serving us lunch despite the restaurant being 98% empty. I would definitely not waste my time here again.

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, we waited 1.5 hours for the food until the starter came. This was average at best. When we were told that we would have to wait another 30 minutes for the main course, we paid the bill (that was quick) and left. Most of the staff were unfriendly, especially when asked when the food would come. Another gentleman who complained at the counter was asked to return to the table immediately. A family with two small children also had to wait over 1.5 hours. The food can then be served shortly before you want to leave the restaurant. Our friends also posted a review. This did not appear. We suspect that the reviews are filtered and adjusted here.

The waiters were, for the most part, friendly and polite. However, our appetizers took over an hour, and we waited an additional 45-60 minutes for our main courses to arrive. After asking the waiter how long it would take he told us it would take another 15-20 minutes. We decided this was unacceptable and left. In addition, we sat next to the bar and kitchen exit, and the noise level was extremely high. All in all, we were very disappointed with our experience.

We waited ONE HOUR AND A HALF for our food. Some came of it came cold. There were some dishes missing (starters actually) and they wanted to bring to our table after we were done. Not to mention we reserved a table but they wanted to put us in separate tables. Why does one reserve? Portions are quite small for what one pays. One of the me waiters was super attentive, but still… the experience was catastrophic.
