Food doesn't taste good at all. Simply tasteless, carelessly prepared and expensive. Not recommended! Don't understand the other reviews. The kebab shop around the corner is owned by the same owner and doesn't taste good at all.

Please do yourself a favor & do not order chicken soup. It has been the most disappointing taste (I am an indian) ever. Reading the review below I am certain the soup was rotten & also the chicken dish which tasted merely sour and so spicy.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Maharani Indiches Restaurant and Cocktail , HAIRS , REUSE SAME CHUTNEYS UNWASHED DISHES AND FORCING FOR 4* REVIEWS My recent visit to Maharani Indiches Restaurant and Cocktail left me thoroughly disappointed. Despite the enticing promise of authentic Indian cuisine, the reality was far from satisfactory. The food quality was abysmal, with dishes like chicken curry, veg biryani, and butter naan , bhatura , palak paneer , and failing to meet even basic standards. The lack of hygiene was evident as the dishes seemed unwashed, getting and spoons also and the chutneys are Not change they always recycle the chutneys I even found hairs in my food, which was utterly unacceptable. Moreover, the management's insistence on customers leaving positive reviews, coupled with the suspicion of fabricated 4-star ratings, raises serious concerns about the integrity of this establishment. In conclusion, I regret to say that Maharani Indiches Restaurant and Cocktail fell worst short of expectations on all fronts. I would strongly advise potential diners to reconsider their choices and explore other dining options for an authentic Indian culinary experience.

I have work in their restaurant in kitchen soo much Unhiegenic prepration is going there no washing dishes properly no makeing food lots of dirtyness is in their kitchen Worst restaurant even they hiring employees and didn't give money for their work.

Actually nothing wrong. But it was never really comfortable. Salad was pretty simple and not totally fresh. The papadums were very small and had strange dips for us. Mint e.g.

Ich mag das Essen und auch wenn die Preise angestiegen sind bin ich bereit dafür zu zahlen. Was mir negativ aufgefallen ist dass sie meine Bestellung über das Telefon nicht innerhalb von 55 Minuten erledigen werden konnten oder sie auch gleich vermutlich vergessen haben. Dann heißt es immer "wir kommen gleich", ... -2 Punkte beim Service

Der Mittagstisch lohnt sich hier wirklich. Die Speisen der Mittagskarte wechseln täglich. Heute Montag... entschied ich mich für das Curryhähnchen mit Basmatireis und Saltatgarnitur. Davor eine kleine rote Linsensuppe. Die Portionen sind zwar überschaubar aber für 6,90 Euro kann ich das 1. zu Hause nicht mal eben so nachmachen und 2. Es schmeckt lecker! Die Bedienung ist freundlich, was will man denn noch mehr?

Eigentlich sind indische Restaurants in Berlin immer ganz solide. Das trifft hier nicht zu, frage mich wer hier freiwillig mehr als einmal essen geht. Krasse Enttäuschung. Besser woanders hin oder gleich bei besseren Alternativen bestellen.

Sehr leckeres Essen einem sehr gemütlichen Ambiente (wenn man draußen sitzt ist man durch schöne Dekoration und einen kleinen begrünten Zaun angenehm von der Straße abgeschirmt). Die Bedienung war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und auch nicht zu aufdringlich. Das Restaurant ist von der S-Bahn Haltestelle "Baumschulenweg" gut zu erreichen. Absolute Empfehlung!

War schrecklich. Chicken Jalfrezi schmeckt wie Lidl-Fertigsuppe. Paneer schmeckt wie eine billige Version einer süß-sauren Soße. Das Käse-Naan ohne kleine Käsestücke!!! Es ist kein indisches Essen! I am Indian and that is not Indian food.. worst food ever and so expensive.

I ordered Lamb Korma and I couldn’t believe it. This is by far the worst Lamb Korma I’ve ever had. After the first taste I couldn’t eat anymore, the food first of all doesn’t look good or attractive and just as it looks, doesn’t taste any better. The price at which this poor quality of food is being sold is just criminal. I really felt like I had been scammed. I hope nobody else falls victim, this is just robbery.

Schnelle, ordentliche Zubereitung und nettes Personal.

Jeder Geschmack ist unterschiedlich. Aber mir hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt. Das geschorte Lamm war sehr zart. Der Reis war lecker. Kein Parboiled Reis (Gummireis). Das indische Brot war auch sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider habe ich mein Essen nicht fotografiert.

Nette Bedienung. Das Essen leider nicht so gut. Ich hatte extra das Gericht mit frischem Gemüse gewählt, Paprika etc. Bekommen habe ich völlig matschiges, zerkochtes Gemüse, was fast nur aus Möhren bestand.

Es war ein sehr schöner Nachmittag/Abend zum Geburtstag. Wir waren sieben Leute, haben trotz Niesel draußen gesessen (für unsere Raucher 😉) und wurden bedient wie die Könige. Das Essen war wieder sehr lecker und die Bedienung gaaanz freundlich. Es war wieder richtig gut Vielen Dank 🙏🏼

Wer sich mit dem Ambiente anfreunden kann, wird bestimmt öfter vorbeikommen oder etwas liefern lassen. Superfreundliche Bedienung geht auf alle Wünsche zu Speisen und Getränken ein.

Sehr sehr leckeres indisches Essen. Inzwischen waren wir schon oft hier und haben auch häufig was nach Hause geholt. Das Essen ist immer gut - und das sage ich, obwohl es im Vergleich zu anderen indischen Restaurants zum Teil schärfer als gewohnt ist (ich mag kein scharfes Essen, weshalb ich meist die gleichen Gerichte esse, aber ich liebe das Essen und die Gewürze an sich). Man findet in vielen Gerichten Ingwer-Streifen; möchte man die Schärfe etwas reduzieren, sollte man diese gleich am Anfang rausnehmen 😉 Meine Eltern, die ihrerseits immer mal was Anderes probieren, sagten letztens, sie haben dort noch nie etwas gegessen, das ihnen nicht geschmeckt hätte. Ich persönlich mag auch das Naan sehr gerne, vor allem das Cheese Naan, das übrigens auch eine gewisse Schärfe besitzt. Der Kellner ist sehr nett und lustig, die Räumlichkeiten sind sauber und schön dekoriert, ich finde, man kann sich da in jedem Fall wohlfühlen. Ein wenig dunkel ist es nur manchmal. Alles in allem aber auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Achtung: Parkplätze sind dort Mangelware. Am besten hinlaufen. Eine Rampe für Rollstühle und Kinderwagen gibt es, es ist auch genug Platz für beides in den Räumen. Und es gibt eine Art Wintergarten/Zelt, was allerdings auch von Rauchern genutzt wird.

Achtung! Hier sind eine Menge gekaufte 5-Sterne-Rezensionen bei! Das Essen ist unterirdisch. Geschmackloser Brei mit wabbligem Fleisch. Selbst das Brot war null bearbeitet, wabblig und fettig. Als wenn man rohen Teig isst. Mir wurde so schlecht von dem Gericht, dass ich 2/3 wegschmeißen musste. Das ist mir noch nie passiert. Nie wieder und Warnung!

Tolles indisches Restaurant mit einer tollen Speise- und Cocktailauswahl. Die Gerichte sind sehr frisch, würzig und schmecken ausgezeichnet. Auch die Bedienung ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Mein persönlicher Favorit unter den indischen Restaurants der Stadt.

Grottenschlechter Lieferservice! Wir haben über zwei Stunden gewartet - es gab nicht eine Information darüber, dass sich die Lieferung verspätet. Auf telefonische Nachfrage wusste man dort nicht einmal, wer wir sind und wo wir wohnen. Dann sollte der Fahrer "in 12 Minuten" kommen, kam aber dann auch noch mal 30 Minuten später. Preisniveau war ziemlich hoch, aber natürlich war das Essen nur noch handwarm. Von der Sauce hatte ich noch am nächsten Tag etwas. Nie wieder.

Ordered food via Lieferando. After 2 hours waiting we called and we’re told that the driver was on his way and it would take 5 more minutes. Driver didn’t show up another 30 minutes so we canceled. This means we did not just not get any food but the guy on the phone also lied to us. That is extremely frustrating!

I ordered lamb curry and chicken korma, by far the most awful food i had. Didnt expected this at all. Even the rice wasnt cooked well.

Gutes Essen und tolle Cocktails 🍹

2x schon hier bestellt und beide Male heftig enttäuscht. Kaum Soße beim Ente Korma, die Mulligatowney schmeckt nur nach Instant-Brühe, Ente EXTREM fettig. Nie wieder.

Das Essen war okay, Soya Fleischersatz leider überhaupt nicht gut zubereitet, war teilweise noch hart und geschmacklos. Andere Paneer Gerichte z.B. waren nicht super aber in Ordnung

Today I went to this Indian restaurant called Maharani Indisches Restaurant. I ordered Chicken Briyani and my friend ordered veg Thali. I told them to make the briyani in Indian Style and asked them not to put nuts or raisins in it. When the Briyani came, It looked Yummy. When I tasted it, it tasted also yummy. They gave ghee tadka to it and it tasted reallly delicious. The chicken pieces tasted as if they were half boiled before and with briyani also they had cooked it, so it tasted tender. The briyani had the German Briyani rice and not our Basmati rice. I would rate the Briyani 6/10. My friend's veg Punjabi Thali had palak paneer, chole, Malai koft and rice. I tasted chole, it wasnt that good. Malai kofta in the beginning after tasting it, I felt its some desert. When I asked the waiter, he said its malai kofta and it comes sweet. I couldn't taste the palak paneer because I was really full. Rating - 5/10 Then we ordered Mango Lassi. Guys, please dont have hopes like our Punjabi Indian lassi. It was clearly flavoured and felt like flavoured yogurt. 5/10 The restaurant was clean. Waiter was coming and asking if we needed anything else and if we liked the food. Sardarji was also there so I said Sat Sri Akaal to the Sardarji. WC is also there in this restaurant.

Schlechter Service und dürftige Küche

Angenehme Atmosphäre und sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung.

Früher mal besser. Bedienung mittlerweile schlecht, das Essen auch und überhaupt verkommt der Laden zu einer Partyhöhle. Unter der Woche bis spät abends nur noch Gegröle und saufen. Und das in einer Wohngegend mit kleinen Kindern. Kann ich keinem mehr empfehlen!

Ich bestelle schon lange und oft hier es ist immer sehr lecker. Ich kann aber auch empfehlen im Lokal zu essen, es ist frisch renoviert und sieht wirklich gut aus. Die Bedienung war immer sehr nett und man bekommt auch gratis Brot am Anfang des Essens. Wir konnten sogar unser Essen in eigene Gefäße füllen lassen um es abzuholen.

Wir haben heute über Lieferando zweimal normales Chicken Churry (zusätzlich wollten wir noch Brokkoli haben) und zweimal Fladenbrot mit Käse bestellt. Positive: die Lieferung war einwandfrei und sehr schnell. Der Lieferant war sehr freundlich Negative: wir haben kein chicken churry mit Brokkoli erhalten. Das Essen war sehr scharf und somit leider nicht zu genießen. Unser Fladenbrot war ohne Geschmack, innen war es fettig und außen war es trocken, kein Geschmack nach Käse und an den Rändern war es angebrannt. Wir wurden leider nicht überzeugt.

Zwar etwas teuer, aber lecker. Freundliches Team.
