Papadam Indisches Restaurant in Berlin

The food here has always been very good and tasty. The prices are reasonable, the staff is mostly friendly, and service is prompt. There are one or two employees who seem a bit arrogant, but that's my personal impression. The ambiance, well, Indian. Some people love it, others find it a bit too pretentious. For me, the quality of the food, the value for money, and good service are important. That's what's perfect here.

We've been to many Indian restaurants, but since we discovered Papadam, this has been our absolute number one. The service and ambiance are top-notch, and the food is unbeatable!

Finding parking is a bit difficult. It's located right at a busy intersection. However, you can sit outside if you prefer. The interior is very nice, though. The service staff are very efficient. You don't have to wait long. The food came quickly and was well presented. All in all, recommended.

A very cozy, elegant restaurant. We come here for every family birthday, and we've never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, and the service is impeccable. One highlight is that the waiter can remember everything 10 guests order without writing it down! Incredible. 10/10

We ate at Papadam for the first time today. Simply great 👍🏽The service is incredibly attentive and friendly.The food is simply delicious😋If you can't tolerate spicy food, you should ask beforehand! The food is definitely well seasoned. Even the little touches such as the welcome drink, the salad platter on the house, the papadum bread and the dips as well as the drink after the meal, I have never experienced that anywhere. The prices are humane and definitely more than reasonable. We were definitely not there for the last time. I also find the furnishings very tasteful.

I know the rooms from back then, my tribe of Italians were there. Yes, the store is okay. You don't get classic food there, but it's completely out of order. One thing or another tastes good.

Been here several times. Always a pleasure. It's good after a walk along Lake Tegel when driving back, as the restaurants directly on the promenade are sometimes very touristy and overpriced.

10/10 for Ambiance and Service. About food, is little bit average side. Definitely gonna visit again. Got few things as complimentary which is very nice.

From the outside you don't expect much. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will be taught otherwise. Nice atmosphere, food really tasty, service is great too. The only thing that is loud is the noise in the restaurant. That's quite unpleasantly loud. So I don't get the comfort I was hoping for. But still worth a visit.

The ambiance alone makes going to Papadam worthwhile. The food is also very good, and thanks to the extensive menu, there's something for everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any questions. Be sure to reserve a table in advance.

We went to the place by pre-booking a table for 4 people, and the staff were very happy and friendly. Sauces and local bread are served to the table before the meal (for tasting). The portions are very filling and the spice balance is very good. Prices are on average 15-20 euros per portion. When you want to host your guests at an Indian Restaurant, this is the place I would definitely recommend. 👍👍👍

A really nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, so we immediately felt at home. The taste of the food was really convincing. The waiting time is pleasant and we always enjoy visiting the papadam.

I've been to Papadam more often now. Since the renovation it has become even more beautiful and larger. But of course that is not the reason to go there. As a rule, there is always a parking space within walking distance. The food is great and is delivered promptly after you order. The menu is rich and varied. If I'm not mistaken, all the service staff come from India or at least their parents, which gives it a nice and relaxed holiday touch. (If you don't like that, you can eat currywurst on the next corner, at Stuttgarter Platz.) I can't make a special recommendation for a special menu because I haven't eaten the entire menu yet. Bon appetit!

Unfortunately one of the worst restaurants we’ve dined at…Chicken plates came drowned under belly pepper and the rare meat to be found was half raw. We got a mere “sorry” from the service and were told that no one else had had any complaint.

Cocktails are okay but there is a lot of savings on alcohol. Food so far average. Unfortunately, a nice evening was repeatedly ended in a rather unfriendly manner by the somewhat arrogant-looking "head waiter", who stood next to you without asking with the bill and literally threw you out to call it a day. No prior announcement of "last round" - something like that is simply unpleasant, especially if the person in question likes to look away when there are empty glasses on the table and you have to actively order from other colleagues first. By collecting money without being asked, he also deprives his colleagues who were previously serving at the table of their tips. Unfair to colleagues and unfriendly to the guest. Toilets are only moderately clean, that could be better.
