Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, vielleicht ein wenig eng zwischen den Tischen. Ausgezeichnete Speisen, sehr professionelle und freundliche Bedienung. Hochpreisig, aber gerechtfertigt.

Das Essen war absolut fantastisch. Wir wählten das 3-Gänge-Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Besonders die Aspergussuppe war phänomenal. Der Service war freundlich, obwohl der Kellner anfangs etwas distanziert wirkte. Die Gänge wurden in einem angenehmen Tempo serviert. Die Atmosphäre war sehr schön, die Musikauswahl allerdings etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Kurz gesagt, ich kann das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ​​gut gegessen. Es ist etwas teurer als üblich. Wir zahlten 140 € für das 3-Gänge-Menü mit Weinbegleitung.

Ein fantastischer Ort mit einer riesigen Auswahl an hervorragendem Riesling. Es war mir ein Vergnügen, von Küchenchef Kellner, auch bekannt als Vinnie, bedient zu werden.

Nettes Restaurant. Wahrscheinlich so wie es in der kurpfalz ist. Gefühlt etwas höher bepreist, essen ist lecker, Portionen aber eher klein.

War heute Abend zum Essen. Meine Bouillabaisse war leider nur lauwarm und geschmacklich etwas fad. Der Handkäs mit Musik ist leider auch nur durchschnittlich. Die Weinauswahl der offenen Weine ist sehr gut. Leider hat die Küche sehr nachgelassen. Ich denke noch sehr gerne an die Zeit zu Coronazeiten. Da war die Küche sehr intuitiv.

Wir hatten ein rundum ausgezeichnetes Essen. Das Highlight war die Vorspeise, Tataki vom Adlerfisch. Die Ochsenschwanz-Essenz war allerdings etwas zu stark gewürzt. Der Service war freundlich, obwohl der junge Kellner etwas zu unterwürfig war. Wir kommen gerne wieder, da das Essen hervorragend war.

Einer meiner aktuellen Lieblingsrestaurants wenn mich die „Saudade“ an die alte Heimat erfasst, vielleicht eher (Kur)Pfalzliebe, dann hilf eine Portion Saumagen und ein gutes Glas vom Philipp Kuhn. Weiter do Vincenzo & Team und immer mit der Ruhe…auf dem Hinweg zum Essen zur Einstimmung Gringo Mayer „O Jesses“ auflegen, dann ist die Welt in Ordnung!

Ich unterstütze solche Lokale sehr gerne und empfehle die Kurpfalz all meinen Freunden – egal ob für ein entspanntes Getränk oder einen gemütlichen Abend zu zweit. Mein Partner und ich waren schon ein paar Mal dort (zum Abendessen, bei Pizza-Events im Innenhof, spontan auf ein Glas Wein usw.) und haben dabei ein bestimmtes Verhalten der Besitzer festgestellt. Manchmal wird man freundlich begrüßt und fühlt sich willkommen, manchmal eher weniger. Gestern war mein Geburtstag und ich freute mich sehr auf die Weinprobe mit Münzberg im Hinterhof der Kurpfalz. Meine Erfahrungen und mein Feedback teile ich hier. Das Positive: Wie immer ein einladender Innenhof, eine tolle Weinkarte und ein sehr professionelles Servicepersonal. Verbesserungswürdig: Ein herzlicher Empfang für alle Gäste, damit sich jeder wahrgenommen, beraten und gleichermaßen gut betreut fühlt. Unsere Erfahrung: Bei unserer Ankunft wurde das Paar vor uns herzlich begrüßt. Sie bezahlten und wurden zu ihrem Glas geleitet. Als wir an der Reihe waren, hieß es „Barzahlung bevorzugt“ und wir wurden zum nächsten Geldautomaten geschickt, obwohl wir hier schon öfter mit Karte bezahlt hatten. Später hörten wir, wie andere Gäste mit EC-Karte bezahlen durften, was uns verwirrte. Während mein Partner zum Geldautomaten ging, wartete ich am Eingang und wurde kaum beachtet. Nach der Bezahlung standen wir einen Moment lang etwas ratlos da, bis mein Partner einen Flyer in die Hand nahm und fragte, wo wir anfangen sollten. Daraufhin wurde uns kurz der richtige Weg gezeigt. Die Interaktion mit dem Weinexperten war genauso uneinheitlich. Während er sich mit anderen Gästen über die Weine unterhielt, wurden wir nicht einbezogen. Das war enttäuschend, da ich mich darauf gefreut hatte, im Rahmen des Erlebnisses etwas zu lernen. Einmal wurde mein Partner beinahe übergangen, als er auf sein Glas Wein wartete, bis ein anderer Gast ihn darauf aufmerksam machte. Als mein Partner hineinging, um unsere Gläser zurückzubringen und die Toilette zu benutzen, rief ihm der Besitzer hinterher: „Kann ich dir helfen?“, was unnötig und peinlich war, da ich es über den ganzen Innenhof hörte. Ich möchte betonen, dass wir reserviert hatten und uns darauf freuten, dort meinen Geburtstag zu feiern. Insgesamt war es unangenehm. Ich hoffe, dieses Feedback wird berücksichtigt: Der Innenhof, die Veranstaltungen, die Speisekarte und die Weinauswahl sind wunderschön. Und die Bedienung (besonders die Dame ganz in Schwarz) ist immer sehr freundlich. Mein Tipp wäre, allen Gästen stets die gleiche Herzlichkeit entgegenzubringen, auch wenn sie sich zunächst nicht dazugehörig fühlen. Die Weinwelt ist schon elitär genug.

Ein absolut fantastisches Erlebnis! Vom herzlichen Empfang, als würden wir nach Hause kommen, über den erstklassigen Service bis hin zum unglaublich leckeren Essen! Lassen Sie sich diese Gelegenheit nicht entgehen und reservieren Sie jetzt!

Sehr leckeres, bodenständiges Essen zu preislich fairen Konditionen. Die Qualität stimmt, die Portionen passen und das Angebot ist auch für Kinder gut geeignet. Das Ambiente wirkt angenehm urig, etwas chaotisch, aber genau das macht den Charme aus :). Empfehlung: Unbedingt vorab reservieren, da es oft gut besucht ist.

Seit Jahren immer wieder gern dort. Das Essen, der Wein und der Service sind super. Der Chef ein spezieller Vollblutgastronom.

2 Sterne, da das Essen zwar recht gut ist, der Service aber so schlecht (unhöflich, kein Respekt vor den Gästen) ist, dass ich nicht wiederkommen werde und empfehle, nicht dorthin zu gehen.

Die Weinstuben entführen den Besucher mit dem Ambiente in eine andere Welt. Die Essensauswahl ist übersichtlich (2 Seiten), außergewöhnlich und hochpreisig. Die Gerichte sind gut zubereitet, die Portionen normal groß. Die Weinauswahl ist umfangreich und das Personal weiß gut zu beraten. Andere Getränke gibt's auch ein wenig. Beim Service störte mich einiges: Es wurden unaufgefordert Wasser Sekt und kleine Vorspeisen angeboten, die beim Akzeptieren auf der Rechnung landen. Es wird erwartet, dass eine(r) alles zahlt. Dass man sonst zum Tresen kommen muss ist ja in Ordnung, wenn da Platz wäre und sich jemand kümmern würde. Stattdessen stellt sich jemand (der Chef?) in den Weg und sagt, dass hier am Tisch bezahlt werde. Auf den Hinweis, dass man gerade zum Gegenteil aufgefordert worden sei beginnt er italienisch auf die Deutschen zu schimpfen und beschwert sich dann noch auf deutsch über den Papierverbrauch. Das übrige Personal hat ein paar Sterne gerettet. Ich gehe da aber nicht mehr hin. P.S. Ich war beeindruckt von der Weinauswahl, mein gesetztes Budget haben die Preise aber überschritten. Ich wäre sonst nicht mit 40 € sondern mit über 50 € gegangen.

Adenauer Square might seem like a concrete monstrosity to the uninitiated, but thanks to the Kurpfalz wine taverns, it all makes sense again: The already very welcoming and beautiful wine taverns feel even more inviting after (which is unavoidable) crossing the square; and the associated detour is richly rewarded with culinary delights. There's fine French-inspired cuisine, excellent wines – and those who want to completely escape from the present can also immerse themselves in fascinating alternative worlds with nettle schnapps. In short: A hidden gem!

We discovered this restaurant through the Michelin Guide and chose it to celebrate our 15th anniversary — a choice that turned out to be truly memorable. The wine list was impressive, and soon after we were seated, a gentleman approached our table offering to assist with the selection. Although I am not usually fond of Riesling, he encouraged me to trust his recommendation. It was a pleasant surprise — elegant, well-balanced, and so enjoyable that I decided to keep it for the entire meal. The others chose red wine, perfectly matched with their main courses. Both the starters and mains were flavorful and beautifully presented. At the end of the evening, the same man returned and offered us a taste of sausages his supplier had just brought. They were not salty and were among the best I have ever tried.

Very tasty and highly recommended. The waiter Max was very good and friendly.

I arrived there in the evening and asked if I could sit outside with a glass of wine. (Who knows how many beautiful days autumn still has left.) The outdoor area was officially closed, but since I only wanted a glass of wine and no food, my wish was granted. After excellent advice, I enjoyed what was perhaps the best Riesling of my life. A great team and a chat with the chef brightened up my evening.

Super nice and friendly. The host is nice and friendly, maybe a little too friendly. That doesn't bother me. It's a bit crowded, I think. Otherwise, just good.

The food was great, as was the service. All served on a cozy terrace. The only thing missing were the candles on the table. Always worth a visit!

YOU CANNOT TAKE FOOD HOME BECAUSE OF “SECURITY” CONCERNS. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE RESTAURANT FROM THE MICHELIN GUIDE (or any restaurant for that matter). Worst service we have had in years. One would not expect such poor customer service at a restaurant from the Michelin guide. My boyfriend and I are in the city for the marathon. Since I am carbloading during the day/we want to try as many different things during our short time in Germany, we ordered three main courses and an appetizer thinking we would take leftovers to the hotel. Our server was surprised we ordered that much but did not say anything. Portions ended up being rather generous so we asked to wrap remaining food up (we did not eat most of it). The server told us that they could not do it due to “security” reasons. At first we thought it had something to do with the state law however had our doubts and asked for a manager. The manager confirmed that the “security” rules were imposed by the owner as they could not guarantee “quality” of food if taken out. To which we said we did not care. We are well travelled and go out frequently and never seen such a thing before. They did not offer to take one meal off the bill or offer a discount or something like that. No prior disclosure of this “policy” to customers. The server could have at least said something instead they chose to massively overcharge us. Other patrons at the restaurant just were openly laughing at this stupidity while being embarrassed for such poor service in their city. Just call it for what it is: we do not have to go containers, etc. Honestly, I cannot wait to share this story in the US and see everyone’s faces. Major disappointment. This restaurant should not be on the guide. I will make a point to contact Michelin about this incident.

The Kurpfalz-Weinstuben is a marvellous place in the middle of the good old west of Berlin and yet hidden in a backyard. It is a historic place that is filled with a fresh, young and high-quality spirit. Of course, the range of wines is outstanding, which Vini, the host, buys with great passion and enormous knowledge from many regions. This is why many wine connoisseurs from all over the country regularly come to the Kurpfalz-Weinstuben: they know that they can get wines with great vintage depth here. But the food is also heavenly. There is a standard menu with traditional dishes from the Kurpfalz region and a normal menu with an international focus in the upper flavour segment. Whether fish, meat or vegetarian: it's hard to decide. The terrace season has just opened! The inner courtyard, surrounded by birch trees, is wonderfully peaceful and feels like an oasis. Since last year, there has also been a wine bar in front of the restaurant. The atmosphere there is relaxed, you sit inside at small tables or outside in front of the restaurant area and chat with friends or people you meet there by chance with a glass of good wine. I've been to the Weinstuben really often over the last few years and have always spent wonderful evenings there, special moments or just a good time. The Weinstuben are a good piece of Berlin and a reason to feel at home in the city.

We went there with a lot of advance praise and were extremely disappointed. The food was of unbelievably poor quality, for example the Stimmentaler beef praline. Simply unbelievably bad. The wine selection was even worse. The wine list (we wanted to order bottled wine) included several hundred different wines, 95% of which were Riesling. Why? We had opted for a Muscat, which the house sommelier couldn't find on his own list and reacted very irritably, saying it was our job to find the wine on the list. All in all, the visit was a complete flop. Never again. Simply awful.

The food was fine, as was the wine. The service (especially the chef) was a disaster: rude and hectic. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.

A wide selection of wine. Perhaps too wide, as our bottle of Sylvaner from Franconia needed to be chilled first. After 20 minutes, the first glass of lukewarm wine arrived. The starters were missing the Flammkuchen. We inquired; it would be resolved immediately. The snails, by the way, were fine. My entrée (Gazpacho) didn't come with the Flammkuchen. I asked again. The gazpacho was decent. The garnish was a bit too coarse for my liking. I asked again about the Flamkuchen. The main course was served with, yes, finally, the Flammkuchen. Even though it was listed as an appetizer and we really intended it as an appetizer. Monkfish was overcooked and the sauce too salty. We paid for it and will never return.

Really dissapointing, I orderd 5 courses Menu with wine pairing. We had a red muller which was really dry and we had mushrooms rush that was full of sand. In the end I left very disappointed, the owner was having a nice drink with his friends and Max had to solve everything.

Good food and service but the wait was truly too long to enjoy the evening. It took us two (2!!!) hours to receive the food and paid.

Great food, interesting service! We had a company dinner here and the food was fantastic – no complaints there. The location is also lovely. The service, however, was its own kind of memorable. The owner was clearly having a stressful night and wasn't shy about showing it. We were treated a little disrespectfully, but our group decided to just laugh it off as the authentic German customer service experience we've all heard about. I still highly recommend it and would come back cause the quality of the food and drinks are phenomenal.

The best tarte flambée in town! Plus, it's super cozy and the service is friendly and personalized. An evening here is truly enjoyable.

Pedimos una comida de tres platos donde había opciones para cada curso. Mi esposa y yo elegimos los elementos alternativos para cada curso. La comida era generalmente bueno con una buena presentación. La copa de vino que pedí también era bastante bueno. Sin embargo, el servicio era increíblemente lento y los servidores bastante desatenta. Pasaron unos 90 minutos antes de que hubiéramos terminado el segundo plato (pedimos de inmediato). A true gem in the heart of the city! We sat on the beautiful terrace, a cozy courtyard that completely shields you from the hustle and bustle of the main street. The atmosphere is relaxed, stylish, and simply comfortable. The food? Michelin-star worthy! You can taste the attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship in every dish. Added to that is the excellent wine advice: The waiters know exactly which wine pairs with each dish – professional, warm, and with a genuine passion for wine and enjoyment. One thing is certain: This won't be my last visit. I'll definitely be back again!

Wir waren nachlängerer Zeit mal wieder im Kurpfalz und haben uns gefreut, dass es weiterhin ausgezeichnetes Essen eine sehr gute Betreuung und super Weine gibt.

It's a shame that a restaurant with a good wine selection and gourmet dishes has such arrogant and unfriendly service. It's all about looks, attitude, and tone. The owner is irritable and unfriendly (he's also apparently very annoyed by bulky bags and moves them without permission). They don't seem to particularly like international groups, or so it seems. My colleagues and I regret coming here.

Kurpfalz Weinstuben Berlin – A Wine Gem with Heart We spontaneously wandered into the Kurpfalz Weinstuben in Berlin and were lucky: After a short wait, we were given a table in the garden. The ambiance there is pleasant, even if the interior of the wine bar, which we saw upon entering, seemed a bit more rustic and atmospheric. The garden could certainly improve with a few additional details. Although a larger group had arrived shortly before us, making the service visibly challenging, we didn't notice any hecticness at our table. On the contrary: We were served by an extremely polite and competent member of staff who really took their time with us. This is particularly remarkable and speaks volumes about the team's professionalism. The dishes were consistently very good. The steak tartare, although not prepared in the traditional way, tasted excellent – ​​an interesting and successful interpretation. The asparagus was excellent, cooked to perfection, and of the highest quality. The highlight of the main course was the braised ox cheek, which was simply outstanding – tender, aromatic, and perfectly prepared. The wine selection is simply gigantic and unparalleled in Berlin. Here, you'll find many renowned German wineries with impressive vintages, as well as a host of exciting discoveries from smaller, lesser-known winemakers. The exceptional selection of wines by the glass is also particularly noteworthy. It's clear that wine knowledge and passion are paramount here. All the staff we interacted with possessed extensive wine knowledge and were able to provide excellent advice and recommend suitable accompaniments to the dishes. The Kurpfalz Weinstuben is definitely a place for wine lovers and fans of home-style cooking with a certain something. Despite the slight drawback regarding the garden ambiance and the brief moment of stressed service (which wasn't noticeable at the table), the excellent food, the sensational wine selection, and the competent, friendly service were convincing across the board. We'll definitely be back!

The Kurpfalz wine taverns have two stands at the asparagus festival every year. It's always amazing what delicacies delight the palate, and it shows how much our host loves food...thank you!

Local shop, very friendly and authentic owner, Robert and Valentin served perfect zander and beef Wellington! Again and again, thanks to all the service staff for the wonderful experience.

For many years, whether at Christmas or with a group on October 10, 24 or November 6, 24, we have always been very satisfied and have recommended this great wine bar to friends and colleagues. But the last experiences, on February 21, 2025, can easily be seen as just a "slip": a carbonated champagne, a dried-out sausage stomach and side dishes without any kick, a waiter who fell silent when the answer was "No, the snails didn't taste good" and otherwise tried to be polite, none of that was convincing. While the wine bar was once run very individually and personally and Vinnie initially showed himself in the same way, today tourists are apparently in demand. The historical ambience and the range of wines are a little comforting, but the realization that you are no longer part of the target group here prevails.

En general, un buen restaurante con comida de alta calidad en un entorno tradicional y agradable. Algunos platos eran mejores que otros, pero no puedo criticar nada. Interesante selección de vinos por copa, y muy buen expreso. El gerente tiene una personalidad atractiva e inusual. Lamentablemente, un camarero era clientelar y a veces incluso sarcástico y negativo. No hay excusa para ello en 2025 en una gran ciudad de Europa occidental. Pedí un segundo macchiato exprés y expliqué muy brevemente la forma en que lo hizo el primer mesero, solo porque las técnicas y enfoques difieren mucho entre restaurantes y entre personas. El camarero respondió diciendo, en tono correctivo: “Sí sé lo que es un macchiato expreso”. No es gran cosa, pero no el tipo de comportamiento que se esperaría de un restaurante que aparece en la guía Michelin. Siempre soy, hasta donde sé, razonablemente educado y cortés con los camareros y no los trato de manera condescendiente. I loved the wine! We tasted 6 wines and they were all great! The food was also good but could’ve been better.

When I first wanted to go to this restaurant, I was reading the comments about how the owner was not really nice. But I was not expecting that level of arrogance. When we were talking to the waiter he was interrupting to ask him to do something else, leaving us in confusion. And worst, when it was the time to pay, he said « your card miss » really nonchalantly pointing the EPT at us. He just wanted us to leave honestly. The dish was fine, but everything you see on the website is not on the menu. The wine had a really weird after taste. I don’t know if it was because my friend and I are in our 20’s that he was thinking he couldn’t respect us. But yeah, he was really rude. Also the table behind making out because they are friends with the owner ?? Please

Delicious food despite a very long wait for service. Unfortunately, despite repeated requests from the service staff, we were served very slowly. If you ask several times for a wine recommendation before the main course and don't get one until you've finished eating, I don't think it's worth mentioning in the Michelin Guide! Too bad

Ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis war das Silvestermenü 2024. Hier stimmte alles. Das Essen, die dazu passenden Weine, das Ambiente und der Service. Selten haben wir den Jahresausklang so genossen wie in den Kurpfalzstuben. Wir kommen gerne wieder. (Und dann hat die Chefin vielleicht bessere Laune) das aber schmälerte auf keinen Fall das kulinarische Highlight.

We ate at the Kurpfalz-Weinstube with five people on December 25th, 2024 after booking based on a recommendation from friends. The welcome was friendly and the owner appeared to be humorous, if a bit quirky, which still made us feel welcome. The orders were taken quite quickly. The owner came to our table and recommended a wine for us to try. Unfortunately, he left before we could give him feedback and didn't come back to ask if we liked the wine, refill it or make further recommendations. Since he left the bottle at the table without saying a word, we helped ourselves. The quality of the food was generally good. I can definitely recommend the goose leg with red cabbage, kale and dumplings, as well as the lentils and the tarte flambée. The roast beef, on the other hand, was unfortunately a bit tough. After the starter we had to wait about an hour for the main course. During this time and afterwards there were no waiters in the room for about 30-45 minutes, which was extremely unsatisfactory. I finally had to get up and go into the next room to ask for dessert, which also took about an hour to arrive. It was very busy and one of the staff may have called in sick, which led to the extremely long wait times. However, these are just speculations. In any case, it would have been desirable if guests had been informed of the situation so as not to feel like they were being completely ignored. Overall the experience for a family Christmas dinner was unfortunately disappointing and overpriced due to poor service. Very unfortunate.

The food is good but nothing more. The owner of the restaurant who was only drinking became very unpleasant when paying the bill. When we asked to pay separately he disrespected us despite our good will. For a restaurant like this respect for customers should be the basis.

Vincenzo loves what he does and does what he loves. We were warmly welcomed and looked after by him. With delicious wines, a starter on the house, an eye-opening cheese starter and a main course that briefly transports us to higher culinary spheres. I even discovered my new favorite beer there. Terrible restaurant, with poorly trained staff. The explanation of the menu was unclear and, while the owner was trying to explain it to us. Regarding the separate payment, the staff proved to be uncooperative, aggressive and, dare I say, inhumane. Furthermore, the owner adopted an attitude that was completely inappropriate for a work environment. I highly recommend this restaurant

The boss was very rude to the customer, too many misleading complaints regarding the separate payment (it feels like going back to the stone age), too many excuses regarding the payment, very badly treated, good but very little food, not recommended

Our evening was a rollercoaster of emotions. The menu was outstanding - the dishes were creative, tasteful and perfectly prepared. Unfortunately the service couldn't keep up with the quality of the food. The staff was unfriendly and seemed unmotivated to make our evening pleasant. Another downer was that the three of us were accommodated in a corner at a table for two, which significantly affected the comfort. Overall, the visit leaves an ambivalent impression. I would happily return for the excellent food, but hope the service takes a positive turn by then.

Obwohl man einen Tisch bestellt hat wird man als Begrüßung im Restaurant erstmal mit der flachen Hand daran gehindert einzutreten . Ist mir so noch nie passiert zudem wir auf den bestellten Tisch bereits im Regen warten durften. Nach dem gnädigen Einlass wartet man weitere 19 min auf ein Getränk .Das Essen ist nichtmal die Tagesration eines Chihuahua und man versteht sich hier wohl hervorragend in der Gewinnmaximierung auf Kosten des Gastes. Wer in den winzigen Portionen nun auch noch einen Hochgenuss mit französischen Namen erwartet ist hier ebenfalls falsch . Die Weingläser haben unterschiedliche Füllmengen und man sitzt dicht gedrängt auf auf einer Sperrmüllbestuhlung gegen die jeder öffentliche Warteplatz luxuriös und großzügig erscheint. Diese Hinterhof - Erlebnisgastronomie kann ich nicht empfehlen .

The Kurpfalz Weinstuben are my absolute favorite restaurant in Berlin! The service is outstanding – friendly, attentive and warm. The food is simply delicious, the atmosphere is perfect, cozy and authentic. The wine selection is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. Particularly noteworthy is the innkeeper, who has been running the restaurant with his wife for many years with great success. The sommelier Max also impresses with his specialist knowledge and friendly manner. Everything is just right here - a real insider tip!

Die Kurpfalz Weinstuben sind mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Berlin! Der Service ist herausragend – freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Das Essen ist einfach köstlich, die Atmosphäre perfekt, gemütlich und authentisch. Die Weinauswahl ist exzellent und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Wirt, der gemeinsam mit seiner Frau das Restaurant seit vielen Jahren mit großem Erfolg führt. Auch der Sommelier Max beeindruckt mit seinem Fachwissen und seiner sympathischen Art. Hier stimmt einfach alles – ein echter Geheimtipp für Genießer!

One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. Vincenzo and his team conjure up great traditional dishes on the plate and incredible wines in the glass! The wine selection is really amazing and you can also get very nice wines in the open bar. Once you've been here, you always come back - you just have to take Vincenzo, Max and the team to your heart. :)

Excellent food. The service can be a little intimidating but in general attentive. The space is not big so it can be quite loud. Two course menu should be 49.9 euro but I was charged 63 euro. Otherwise I really enjoyed the food.

Goose leg tasteless, robin ok, kale bad. The wine was only refilled once.

Warm welcome from the boss, delicious food and great wines, cozy atmosphere. Very generous Armagnac and sparkling wine “on the house”. Personal farewell. You'll feel like a regular here, even on your first visit. Only criticism: The synchronization of the (different) menu courses didn't work optimally, and we were sometimes left "on the dry side" for a long time. (shortage of staff?) All in all, a clear recommendation!

This was our second time for goose dinner and we weren't disappointed this time either. The two geese (there were eight of us) were cooked to perfection and, like the side dishes, were very tasty. The whole thing is accompanied by fluffy dumplings and delicious sauce. Needless to say, the wine recommendation left nothing to be desired.

Food was great - there was a goose. The service was special - and the facility is unfortunately designed to maximize the number of guests. Still a great evening.

Una cálida bienvenida y un servicio increíble, junto con una excelente comida y una brillante selección de vinos. El vuelo de 5 platos y vino fue magnífico. Me encantó cada minuto y mi esposa y yo sin duda volveremos a visitar si en la zona. Está un poco escondido de la calle principal, pero una vez que llegas te reciben con los brazos abiertos. El servicio era de 5 estrellas y decidimos elegir los 5 platos con vuelos de vino. Los vinos fueron explicados y combinaban perfectamente con cada plato. No habíamos probado el vino alemán antes (nunca hemos ido a Inglaterra) pero nos sorprendió gratamente. Un 5 / 5 para el servicio, la comida, el ambiente y la calidez

Unfortunately, we apparently had bad luck with our service staff. The young blonde man was arrogant and short. We had already chosen our dishes on the website, but surprisingly they weren't offered in the restaurant at all. The food the four of us ordered was okay, however 4.90 for extra bread and the written note that separating the bill had to be announced in advance and was difficult surprised us.

A relaxed atmosphere that is apparent from the moment you greet us and is maintained throughout the entire evening by the friendly and competent service. The diverse selection of wines together with the dishes presented, also as 3-6 common menus, then very successfully dominate the pleasant stay. Tip: Be sure to try one of the menus (from €49) with the corresponding wine pairing (from €19).

Kurpfalz-Weinstuben is a true Berlin gem, steeped in history since the 1930s and now run by the third generation. The host, Vinni, is not only incredibly funny but also a true wine aficionado—especially when it comes to the white wines from the Palatine region. His knowledge, paired with endless pours of purely incredible, tasteful wines, makes for an unforgettable experience. The food is equally fantastic, complementing the wine perfectly. The warm, inviting ambiance creates a space where making new friends feels as natural as enjoying a great glass of wine. Kurpfalz-Weinstuben is 100% charm, 100% deliciousness, and 100% the place to be for wine lovers and foodies alike.

Das 4 Gang Menü inklusive Weinbegleitung für 200 € für 2 Personen steht leider in keinem guten Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis, der Lauch war faserig und alt, die Suppe kalt und der Fisch nicht gewürzt- hohe Erwartungen- leider enttäuschend….

Unfortunately we couldn't rate the food because it was too late. The service was top notch, the wine list was great, the restaurant was like you would imagine a wine bar in the Rhineland to be. We would be thrilled and can only recommend it.

Mieser Service, schnöseliger Empfang. So kann man unser Erlebnis zusammenfassen. Eine so altehrwürdige Institution sollte sich um ein stilsicheres Auftreten seiner Mitarbeiter bemühen. Stattdessen wird man von einem jungen, arroganten, unfreundlichen Schnösel empfangen, der sich leider nicht um unser Wohlbefinden kümmern wollte. Ganz mies.

Gutes hatten wir gehört über dieses Restaurant, über Freundlichkeit und lobenswerte Küche. Das Menü auf der Webseite sagte uns zu, also reservierten wir. Zwei junge Angestellte empfingen uns, einer mit uns zugedrehtem Rücken, der andere saß an der Kasse am Tresen. Wir traten heran und wurden angewiesen bis zu einer bestimmten Stelle zurückzutreten. Es verging eine Weile, ein Kellner drängelte sich an meiner wartenden Frau vorbei, dann bekamen wir einen Tisch und die Karte. Das Menü war völlig anders als im Web und war nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Darauf angesprochen antwortete der Kellner pikiert: "Dann sind wir wohl nicht dazu gekommen, das zu ändern". Als wir daraufhin gingen , schallte es uns hinterher: "Ein Glück, dass die gehen"

Nice German wine offer at reasonable prices. Served in nice patio. Pretty relaxed attitude to not publishing or mentioning prices like of a 48 EUR PetNat with the obvious intent that customers order expensive bottles. Dishes on menu way too small. E.g.10 g of cheese as dessert.

The Kurpfalz wine bars have long been a regular pub. In summer on the terrace or in winter in the rustic parlor there are regularly changing menu options (e.g. 3 courses for €49) and a nice snack menu. Large selection of open wines, ideal for beginners. Cellar extremely well sorted and with a unique vintage depth at very fair prices. Huge range of top German wineries and great locations. Vincenzo is a wonderful host and a real original. I haven't found anything comparable in Berlin yet. There is no alternative for wine lovers in the most positive sense.

I found the food to be decent.. nothing really stood out to me or was really memorable. Compared to most of the wine bars we have in Canada, I found their selection to be quite small but the selection that we had were exceptional. As tourists who are new to German wine, it would have been a nice touch if the sommelier or waiter had a brief rundown as to why this particular wine made it on their list and what makes this wine special. I would have loved to know more about each glass & I feel like this touch would definitely elevate their wine bar experience. Out of all the dining experiences we had in Berlin, the service had to have been the best during our stay - although that is to be expected, given their rating on the Michelin guide. However, during our meal, there were a few wasps that came down on our table and tried a few meats from our charcuterie board. We let them be and take what they needed but hopefully they are in the midst of controlling the wasps in their terrace. In the end, we had a great time and it was a nice place to enjoy German wine 😊🍷

Excellent food and service, generous servings, and the location inside quiet residential courtyard makes for a terrific place for dinner. The wine accompaniment is absolutely a marvel. The owner is very kind and attentive.
