This place probably is the best Indian restaurant in Berlin with a great ambiance and service to add. It's quite a glamorous dining place and the food is flavourful, well-made, not shy with the spices and not a greasy or watery mess like some of the cheaper places or those westernized Indian restaurants in Berlin. The truffle Naan bread is amazing and the curries and tandori meats are really delicious and skillfully made. the price is totally justifiable for the food. They have some interesting cocktails and a pretty decent wine list, they were but I guess that's where they try to make up their margins. Definitely worth it and it's better with a larger crowd so you can try and share more dishes.

Indian cuisine is a treasure here.... With its array of spiced lentils, curries, and rice dishes, the Indian vegetarian platter is an aromatic journey that packs a punch.

The food was consistently very good. The service was very friendly but sometimes made us wait longer. The ambience is quite nice, but we have seen nicer things. But the bottom line is our new favorite Indian.

Friends moved to the Kietz and we discovered this little restaurant together. Super nice and attentive service and absolutely everything was delicious! An absolute recommendation!

A friendly restaurant with a very family atmosphere. Joseph is famous for his samosas, and everything else is delicious and cooked with love. There are Thalis! Everyone is welcome: children and dogs too.

Well, I had to go to the toilet in my old area and thought about whether I should eat something. But when asked if I can go to the toilet, the saying costs money. 50 Cent then had to change €50 😂Toilet wasn't exactly clean without words 🙈🙈

I am always completely satisfied here. Pleasant friendly atmosphere. And the food is just great. Requests for spiciness are always gladly taken into account. Whether vegetarian or with meat, authentic in terms of the ingredients and the spices. Simply a taste experience again and again.

What a lovely place this is! The restaurant is very clean with a well designed and colorful interior. Indian religious music adds the spirit into it. While the interior is 10/10, the food is not behind to give it a competition. I tried vegetarian thali and it tasted so delicious and homely, I want to go for it again and again 🤤😍. If you want to have a real indian taste then you should definitely give a visit here. If I talk about the manager, he is really humble, attentive and has good behaviour🤓👌. Worth giving a try here. 🙂

One of the best restaurants in Berlin. Thali and batura is a must try out there. The thali I had here was cheaper and better than the one I had in Athens. It comes with 3 different currys, bhatura and definitely would recommend. Almost all dishes were very authentic and great service. The peaceful and classic Indian ambience is great as well.

One of the least satisfying Indian restaurants in Berlin, they fail to serve any authentic Indian cuisine; their Biryani resembles more of a pulao both in taste and appearance.Moreover all dish are full of cream no taste like India. Despite being recommended by a close friend, I decided to host my birthday party there with many friends, but at the end they were all disappointed with the food. Price is extremely high as compared to other Indian restaurants

I give one star because negative stars are not possible. These people are stingy. Once there was an offer on liferando for samosas, they took my money and did not give me samosas and blamed liferando for making mistake on the offer. It's been a few months still I didn't get my money back. Absolute cheats. Food is bad. There's another restaurant around the corner, Dalchini, I recommend everyone go there, at least they're not cheats.

Great down-to-earth family-run and family-friendly restaurant. Food is excellent and authentic (i can attest as i’m Indian 😉). Really love that you can order a Thali here, which lets you try three different Subji’s (vegetable dishes) with all the typical sides. My favorite Subji is the Blumenkohl. 👍👍👍Lecker!

Its a restaurant which serves you more like home cooked food. We ordered Palak Paneer, Paneer Jhalfrei, Daal Makhani and Rotis and everything was so tasty. We are definitely trying other dishes on their menu. We love their homely atmosphere where kids can run around and the owner’s family is very kind and amazes with their kindness and hospitality. You can ask them to customize the dishes and the staff is very friendly. Their lunch menus are vety reasonable and delicious.

Ich habe gestern ein indisches Restaurant murli besucht und muss sagen, dass ich mit dem Essen ziemlich enttäuscht war. Ich denke, es gibt bessere Optionen in der Umgebung und besonders der Geschmack des Öls in ihren Gerichten hat mir nicht gefallen.

Sehr gutes „echtes“ indisches Essen. Mit Thalis, Bhaturabrot usw. Großzügige Portionen, günstige Preise. Schönes Ambiente. Sehr freundlicher, herzlicher Chef und Personal. Würden wir in Berlin wohnen, wären wir Stammgäste.

Wir freuen uns, den Besitzer vom Joseph am Dürerplatz wiedergefunden zu haben. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, der Schärfegrad kann individuell bestellt werden. Sowohl die Angestellten als auch der Chef sind sehr freundlich und machen einen guten Service. Es gibt ein Mittagsangebot. Man kann drinnen oder draußen sitzen. Wir kommen wieder

Wir haben sehr lecker bei freundlicher Bedienung gegessen. Und das dazu noch sehr preiswert. Leider hat einer der vorherigen Kommentatoren Recht mit seiner Beschreibung der sanitären Anlagen. Hier ist deutlich Luft nach oben. Eine Renovierung würde unser Wiederkommen wahrscheinlicher machen.

Endlich habt ihr wieder auf (vorher das Joseph am Dürrerplatz), denn ihr habt das beste Indische Essen von ganz Berlin.

I had lunch here and loved it so much! I ordered garlic naan & butter chicken, it was easily one of the best naan/butter chickens I’ve had. The outdoor seating area and atmosphere was really nice, and the service was amazing. I recommend this place and would love to eat here again!

nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen, gute Preis-Leistung

Die neue Bewirtschaftung (jetzt allerdings schon eine Weile) ist vom Düreplatz umgezogen. Sehr gerne genieße ich das nette Ambiente, die Gastfreundschaft und das leckere Essen auch hier. Der kleine "Biergarten" ist ein plus in der ruhigen Nebensteaße Kieztipp :)

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, das Essen köstlich. Das Mittagsmenü lässt sich sehr empfehlen. Komme immer gerne wieder.

Relativ neues Restaurant, mit manch ungewöhnlichen Gerichten.

Wir wurden erneut herzlich vom Eigentümer begrüßt, hatten das Panir Makhni und das Murli Wale Veg Thali. Beides äußerst lecker und preiswert! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Waren letzte Woche mit der Familie da. Ich hatte das Chicken Mango und ein Bhatura und meine Frau hatte das Chicken Korma. Das Essen hat uns beiden sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Soße war Cremig, das Hähnchen saftig und der Reis gut durchgekocht. Reis gab es auf Nachfrage natürlich kostenlos als Nachschlag. Das Bhatura welches wir immer zu indischem Essen kaufen, war auch sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr nett, nur hat doch alles leider etwas lange gedauert und für einen romantischen Abend zu zweit würde ich es nur empfehlen wenn man draußen sitzen möchte. Ansonsten werden wir bestimmt irgendwann nochmal dort essen gehen. Man muss nur etwas suchen, ist etwas in einer Seitenstraße versteckt.
