We always love going there. The food is always delicious, the service is warm and friendly, and everything is always fresh and delicious. I eat out a lot (for work), and we also love going there privately.

We had dinner here on my better half's birthday. There was a good, ice-cold ouzo to welcome us, as well as in between and at the end. I haven't been here myself in ages... The food was really delicious and also appetizingly prepared. A special request was even accommodated (sparkler in the dessert), my girlfriend was amazed -> surprise was a success... BRAVO, that's how you win new customers, we'll be back!

We had to wait about an hour for our meals. Low effort meals, if that’s what you’re going for then that’s fine but for the prices it doesn’t make it worth it. Not sure if a cook just didn’t show up that day or what. The wait staff was nice, stressed, probably could use an extra hand. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I visited the “Grill am Monument” on April 16, 2025 at around 12:50 p.m. and was very satisfied with my visit. The food was fresh and tasted very good. The ingredients seemed high quality and carefully crafted, overall a very pleasant culinary experience. The menu was varied and offered something for every taste, including... Vegetarian/vegan interested guests. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. The service was friendly and quick, I was served promptly and was well looked after felt. Particularly worth mentioning: The friendliness of the staff deserves 9 out of 10 Score a real award! Cleanliness and hygiene are top. The tables, floor and counter were clean, too The hygiene standard in the kitchen was easy to understand. The atmosphere was cozy and modern at the same time, a pleasant ambience. It was quiet so perfect for a relaxed meal. The price-performance ratio is very good. The portions are fairly sized and the prices are correspond to the quality and I find them absolutely appropriate. Overall, I had nothing to complain about and can highly recommend the grill at the monument!

I'm disappointed because I can't find what I wanted... namely a Greek restaurant.

Food was good. Ambience not bad. Service, however, was subpar. Despite a reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes until we were seated, outside... in January. Rude to new customers. I don't think there will be another visit to the restaurant.

Because of my celiac disease, eating out is always a bit tricky. But luckily the owner and the chef are knowledgeable about gluten-containing food and the risk of contamination and what needs to be considered when eating gluten-free. That makes me and other people affected very happy and that's what makes professionals! Super! Thank you! They are also honest and say that they cannot offer gluten-free pasta, pizzas and fries, but there are numerous other alternatives. If you're a celib and want to eat Greek, you're in good hands here. When you come into the restaurant, you are immediately greeted with a casual saying from the landlord and his sense of humor always accompanies you in this cozy and nice restaurant. The background music is also pleasant and makes you dream of a wonderful holiday in the south. Especially on a rainy, cold winter day you can treat yourself to something good with all your senses in this restaurant. My husband and I will 100% stop by again next time we visit Hameln. We are excited to see what stories the innkeeper will tell us next time. The price-performance ratio is also okay. THANK YOU for the lovely and culinary break with you!

The ambience is not for everyone but the food is perfect, very tasty, good portions and is 100% guaranteed to fill you up

Unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. The fillet was more like the sole of a shoe, and the price was completely exorbitant. The souflaki was dry and the fries were very greasy. The service employee was quite friendly, but not the most experienced in his job. What a shame!

On the gyro plate, the meat was not freshly cut but came from a stainless steel container in which it had been kept warm for who knows how long. The rice was warmed up in the microwave. A smile or at least a friendly face and a "bon appetit" would have been nice. In this case the portion is quite sufficient and the price is completely reasonable these days.
