I've rarely eaten such good gyros. The service was very friendly and we felt comfortable. Despite looking rather worse for wear (we'd just come from a renovation), we still managed to get a table shortly before closing time. A perfect evening out.

We visited El Greco for the first time today. We're from Sudheim and were thrilled that a restaurant had FINALLY opened in Sudheim. We looked around the restaurant, and it's simply so beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They often came over to us to ask if everything was okay. After a short wait, we got a delicious meal. The meat was delicious and juicy, and the tzatziki was very, very delicious. We'd also say the value for money is reasonable, as the portions were very large. We will definitely come back often and support the Greek restaurant from Sudheim. Unfortunately, there was no starter salad with the vegetarian dish. Otherwise, we were very satisfied; everything tasted delicious. Comfortable chairs, nice cozy and modern decor. Payment by credit card is unfortunately not possible; this could be improved.

The mixed platter for two people, costing €50.00 (!), was very disappointing. The very friendly service and the very well-kept restaurant offered little compensation. We wouldn't particularly recommend it, as the value for money on our visit was completely out of whack.

The restaurant reopened a few years ago. The food was delicious, it was always very busy, and the staff was great! There was never anything to complain about. Now it seems there's been a change of ownership, as some familiar faces are no longer there. It was manageable in terms of table occupancy (Sunday evening, rather bad weather). Now, unfortunately, the tzatziki is bland, some classic dishes are no longer on the menu, and the wine spritzer tastes like it's been made with tap water instead of sparkling water. Even after asking, we received the exact same thing again. So, it's better to order a glass of wine and a fake bottle of sparkling water and mix it yourself. The owner (I think, anyway?) took our order very quickly 👍, but when my girlfriend ordered a mixed grill, he commented, "Are you sure? That's a lot!" - So what? Just because she's petite, she can't have a mixed grill?! She can always get it to go. That comment was very unfriendly. The manager started clearing the table while one person was still eating. Once we'd finished and the table was being cleared, no one else came to our table. We actually wanted dessert, but then we went to the counter and paid. While the food itself was tasty and nicely presented, you've lost us as regular customers because everything was so disorganized, and we're big fans of good tzatziki. Great! Highly recommended. We had: Classic gyros, just the way they should be. Crown of lamb, you could see and taste what the kitchen could do!!! TOP! Shrimp, fantastic! Not everyone likes them with their heads on, but only then do they taste really good. Convincing all round. Top value for money. Modern and beautiful ambiance. Super friendly, great service.

If you want to eat Greek food in the region, this is the best Greek restaurant. Really good Greek cuisine, always with a little something refined in each dish. And the service is excellent. Keep it up!

We visited this Greek restaurant this weekend and absolutely loved it. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and the service was consistently attentive, quick and extremely friendly. What is particularly positive is that special requests were easily accommodated - so you feel really valued as a guest. The food was excellent: freshly prepared, authentic in taste and prepared with great attention to detail. In terms of price, the whole thing is also absolutely fair - the price-performance ratio is right across the board. The ambience is also convincing: stylishly furnished, with a warm, inviting atmosphere that invites you to linger. We had a really nice evening and can recommend this restaurant. It certainly wasn't our last visit! :)

The portions are clearly too small I almost had to go look for my gyros. Something more should be done I hope that the criticism is received and the food is improved

Fantastically beautiful ambience. We were there with a group of 9 people. We had a nice place. The tables were lovingly prepared and decorated. The map is clear but quite sufficient. In terms of price, it is in the upper segment. Quality of the food is very good. Portions are quite reasonable. You'll definitely get fed up with it. Tastes very good. The service that brought the food was friendly and attentive. The salads beforehand came in two separate occasions. The first time, two of us came away empty-handed. The main course came 3 later. Among other things, a children's meal. It wasn't supposed to happen like that and was a little unfortunate. In defense you have to say that the restaurant was full. Last but not least, the drink prices… they were too high in my opinion. 9€ for an Aperol, for example, is already a proud price.

Food was good, portions were sufficient, plates were nicely presented. The starter salads had a very tasty dressing and the garlic bread was very good. I had the 'seasonal vegetables' with baked potatoes and tzatziki. Unfortunately I found this dish quite boring, in my opinion there were too many vegetables for one portion. It would have been missing a sauce or some halloumi. I also didn't think the price was justified at all (€14). 2nd visit: The portion of potatoes with vegetables was adjusted, less vegetables and more vegetable selection. Very much better! It would be better if you added a piece of feta!

Not reserved and still got a place with four people. Nice atmosphere, nice and fast service and delicious food. We'd love to come back.

We came here on a recommendation. Waiting for the food = 60 minutes + The waitress complained in Greek (which I, as a German, understood very well) as she walked past and really conveyed the stress. We spoke to the waiter several times, but he said: the food will be ready soon, 5 minutes left. . . it ended up taking 25 minutes. Among other things, we weren't the only ones, 4 other customers also complained. . . 2 customers wanted to take the rest of the food with them, so they were given 2 plastic bowls on the table and had to put the food in themselves. . . We have seen enough and experienced it ourselves 👎👎👎👎👎 ❗No recommendation from us ❗

We ate here because of the very good reviews and also on recommendation. The atmosphere is really great and also modern. What we can't fully understand are the many very good reviews about the quality of the food. Gyros/Suflaki average, but nothing more. Now to the crux of the matter: The chicken meat is very reminiscent of frozen food and three pieces were very different in consistency. All in all, disappointed. Northeim has better restaurants with Greek food.

First of all, I would have liked to rate it differently. On our first visit we had to wait a long time for our order to be taken. At that time we were told that a service worker had become ill and that it would therefore take longer. No problem for us, the food was delicious back then and the ambience was great too. So I hadn't rated it back then. We were there again a few days ago, on a Friday evening. Unfortunately this time the service was even worse. We received the cards after 10 minutes, the first drinks after half an hour and only after asking where the drinks were. The starters were served after an hour. At least we didn't have to wait long for the following main course. Empty glasses were ignored or generally not paid attention to. We tried to order drinks early. Summarized: Service doesn't work that easily. I hope we were just unlucky both times, as many other reviews also rate the service well. Food was great every time!

Top food, top service, top ambience

Unfortunately there is little sauce, mostly pesto in a separate bowl, which I don't want. Exchange for sauce only possible for an additional charge. There was nothing with the fries. You have to pay extra for ketchup or mayo. At higher prices there should be mayo or ketchup.

1 Stunde, bis die Hauptspeise da war. Nach 40 Minuten kam die Vorspeise der Bauernsalat. Die ersten 30 Minuten passierte gar nix, bis man überhaupt ansatzweise bedient wurde. Das Essen war im Prinzip nur lauwarm und ungewürzt. Und dann das ganze (Bauernsalat, Hauptspeise )fast 40 € mit einer Flasche Wasser. Der Bauernsalat hat durchweg nach Honig geschmeckt.🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Ein Ehepaar am Nebentisch, hat die Festivität nach 20 Minuten wieder verlassen ohne auch nur ansatzweise auch bedient zu werden.

I only live about 8 km from this fantastic restaurant and finally visited it after years. I always thought to myself, how could this be so different from other Greek restaurants? Guys, I went in there and was completely amazed and fascinated by the ambience. The whole thing is rounded off by the super attentive service and the perfect food. As you can tell, I'm still totally blown away. And as a little tip, the mixed salad is a hit, I have never, really never eaten such a delicious salad dressing. I even took a portion of salad home with me. Please, please please visit this restaurant, it's worth it in every way.

The ambience was good, it was quite loud as all the tables were occupied. The paper placemats were not that suitable. They would have been better table runners, as were the napkins, which were carelessly placed on the table. Drinks and the supply of them were quick. The food also came quickly. However, we didn't ask if we would like to drink something (we sat there for about 15 minutes). Hence the deduction. The food was tasty and the portion size was good. The counter team greeted us very friendly! A big drawback is the parking lot whose lighting was non-existent even though there were lamps. It was very dark which made walking a problem as there were many hollows and holes in the pavement Conclusion: We would love to come back, but gladly (when it gets warmer and the terrace is open). Due to the short distance, we would also like to take a bike tour to ElGrecco.

Four of us were there on January 20th, 2024. Everyone had a different dish and they were all great. Good service, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Negative: The exhaust air from the kitchen needed to be worked on, all of our things had to be put in the laundry. (Fry fat smell) We'll be back in the summer.

. Das Restaurant muss quasi mit irgendeinem Fahrzeug besucht werden. Das kann man gut finden oder nicht. Ich fand es ganz gut. Das Lokal ist modern eingerichtet und soweit ganz schön. Der Empfang ist gastfreundlich und unaufdringlich. Die Karte offenbarte schon mein Desaster. Ich möchte in ein griechisches Lokal, weil ich griechisch essen möchte und nicht eingedeutscht. Ich las auf der Karte ( unter anderem) Gyros (was kein typisch Gericht für Griechenland ist) in Metaxasoße und wäre ich nicht in Begleitung gewesen, hätte ich ab diesem Zeitpunkt dem Ober zu verstehen gegeben, nur etwas zu trinken und wäre gegangen ohne entäuscht zu sein. Ich habe mich für gegrillte Leber entschieden. Das hatte ich einige Male in Griechenland gegessen und fand es köstlich. Ich bekam perfekt gegrilllte Leber, bei denen leider noch einige Gallengänge vergessen wurden zu entfernen, mit Zwiebeln. Das geschmackliche Ergebnis war ungenügend. Kein Oregano, keine Zitrone keine Spur von Knoblauch. Einfach Leber und Zwiebeln. Das hätte ich in jedem anderen Restaurant so auch bekommen. Wieso geh ich dann zum Griechen??? Der Beilagensalat war auch eher „ungriechisch“ Eisberg mit etwas Radicchio, eine Spalte Tomate, zwei Scheiben Gurke und jetzt kommt es: ein Sahne-Joghurtdressing. In dieser Zusammenstellung kann ich es auch beim REWE aus der Salattheke nehmen. Ich liebe Griechischen Salat: Tomate, Gurke, Fetakäse, etwas Oregano und Top-Olivenöl. Basta, -Leider nein- Das Restaurant war gut besucht, niemand hat den Saal verlassen, insofern machen die Betreiber alles richtig. Der Service war sehr freundlich, sauber und flink aber weil ich nicht das bekommen habe, was ich erwartet habe, von mir nur 2 Punkte. Es tut mir leid. Die Preise waren, für das was man bekommen hat, angemessen.

hallo, wir sind des öfteren in sudheim und das essen war bislang immer sehr lecker.im sommer kann man auch nett im innenhof sitzen. bedienung ist nett und an das warten auf das essen hat man sich gewöhnt. es ist halt immer sehr gut besucht...... aber jetzt kommt das NO GO..... die herrentoilette .... die pinkelbecken sind seit über einem jahr nicht zu benutzen..... UNGLAUBLICH..... aktuell ein grund > da nicht mehr hinzugehen.....

Wir waren zwei Mal in den letzten zwei Monaten da, das Essen ist Top. Besonders positiv möchte ich hervorheben, das die Speisen schön heiß waren. Der Service sollte verbessert werden, wir haben anderes Essen bekommen wie bestellt. Beim bezahlen war bei beiden Besuchen die Rechnung falsch, einmal wollte man uns die Rechnung für einen anderen Tisch bezahlen lassen und auch beim zweiten Besuch war die Rechnung falsch! Das Ambiente ist sehr schön.

Super Nettes Personal Gutes Essen Immer wieder

Silvester 23, ab 17.00h, 9 Personen: Essen war gut, aber der Umgang sehr merkwürdig. Nach dem Essen durften wir keine Getränke mehr bestellen, hatte vorher niemand mal drauf hingewiesen. An den anderen Tischen wurde den Gästen nach dem Essen ein Ouzo angeboten, uns nicht. Anderen Gästen wurde ein Präsent übergeben, uns nicht. An meinen 62€ für 2 Personen war wohl was auszusetzen, anders kann ich mir so ein Verhalten nicht erklären.

Sehr lecker, super Service. Etwas laut, war aber auch super gut besucht, mit einigen Gruppen, was dann logischerweise etwas unruhiger wirkt. Kommen sehr gern wieder.

Essen top super Qualität Immer wieder gerne. Kann ich nur empfehlen!!! Liegt etwas außerhalb aber der Weg lohnt sich!!!
