Restaurant Akropolis in Northeim

Great service, delicious food... always happy 👍

Went there for a birthday party. Typical atmosphere of a Greek restaurant. Service was courteous, but a bit overwhelmed with a busy restaurant. Drinks and appetizers came quickly. The starters were attractively presented and delicious. After that, however, it took over an hour for the main course to arrive. Unfortunately, the food was consistently cold and the rice was bland. The bifteki were very parsley heavy and the lamb skewer had parsley with a little salt instead of herb butter. Overall we were disappointed.

Akropolis in Northeim is definitely the best Greek in southern Lower Saxony! The trip from Kassel was absolutely worth it. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can tell that quality and atmosphere are important here. The food was excellent – ​​from the starters to the main course everything was fresh, authentic and full of flavour. I would particularly like to emphasize the courteous service, which made the entire evening even more pleasant. You feel completely comfortable and in good hands here. I will definitely come back and highly recommend Acropolis!

The journey from Kassel to Northeim was really worth it for Akropolis! The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent - I was really impressed by the fresh ingredients and the perfect preparation. By far the best Greek restaurant in the area. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Very good food, no matter what I have ordered so far it has always been very good and not overly spicy! Olive oil has a wonderful taste 👅 everything is very nice and warm, you feel welcome at all times 🤗 we are greeted and said goodbye properly unless the bear is on the loose and even then a nice goodbye as you walk past 👋 oh and one more thing about the plates They're really nicely prepared, I really like it and it tastes so good 😊 You can clearly feel it's a family business there. not just a restaurant. Thank you for so much hospitality!!!!

We were there on Halloween and luckily reserved a table, it was full, which of course speaks for this restaurant. Also that many came to take something home with them. Despite it being very busy, the staff, no matter who they were, were very, very humorous, friendly, friendly and not hectic, which gave me a feel-good atmosphere. The food was very good and a decent portion. The side salad was fresh and delicious...I'm thrilled.

Stopped here for lunch with 6 other family members. Everyone ordered something different, some with special requests, and everyone got really tasty food. The Greek hospitality also speaks for itself. We'll definitely be back.

Good Greek in Northeim. Recommended in terms of taste. Gyros too dry for my personal taste. The liver is very tasty and so are the fried onions. Price performance is okay. Not necessarily with the children's portions, too expensive here. Service would be perfect if dessert wasn't forgotten. Main courses served quickly and brought to the table together. Not perfect for 5* but definitely recommended.

This is how you imagine warmth and welcome on vacation, even though you are a guest, you are also a friend, highly recommended. Every visit is a mini vacation.

We went there based on other recommendations and were very disappointed ourselves. No cutlery given at the beginning. The whole food was too salty!! You can't actually give out food like that. I'll never go there again!

I was here for the first time 2 years ago. I'm from Baden-Württemberg and I was helping out in one of our plants. I was immediately recognized again after 2 years. Great... food is still bomb. Service was flawless and super nice. Best Greek I've ever eaten at. If I'm in the area I'll come back straight away.

Unfortunately, the seats are a bit tight, so you have to sit on the benches in a group of four, cuddled up together. The food was good and the employees were very nice!

Suddenly decided to stop by on a Sunday evening. Despite two companies in the next room - super friendly service, no rush and really, really good food. The vegetarian platter and the gyros were convincing, the fries were great and I thought it was great that the mayonnaise was served in a small glass! Thank you for this lovely evening! NEW: We were here for the first time a year ago and have been back many times since then. We enjoy the atmosphere, the extraordinary friendliness of all the employees and the extremely good food. It's always a pleasure, thank you very much ❤️

If we are nearby, stopping at Acropolis is a must. You rarely get food this good. The staff and especially the boss are super friendly and accommodating. Absolute recommendation!

The food at the Acropolis was absolutely delicious and everything was as ordered despite many extra requests. The staff is also very friendly and always checks to see if everything is OK or if something is missing. The toilets are also really very clean and hygienic, unlike many other places.

Ordered food by phone for pickup. Despite the restaurant being packed on Saturday evening, the food was delicious. Especially the gyro. The exception was a piece of liver, which wasn't of great quality. The portion of tzatziki could have been significantly larger. The service was super nice.

Unfortunately our review was deleted on the grounds that this incident never happened, but that is not correct. We ate here last summer with eight people. We were offered a place in the next room where we sat alone because a large group was celebrating their birthday outside and there were apparently no seats in the main room or outside. I have to write that we had reserved a long time in advance. The waitress was a temporary worker and she was actually a nice person if she wrote down everything we ordered. Every time she came she forgot at least half of it and we had to say it again. She answered our question about a dish, whether it was beef or pork, incorrectly, so that one of the group got a dish that he didn't want to eat. Another guest asked her five times not to bring rice with her dish, but instead bring fries. That didn't work either. The rice was a disaster soaked in ketchup. The children in the group had been given the wrong dishes and didn't eat them. The dishes all arrived cold or lukewarm. We left €250 that day and basically all left the restaurant hungry. Now you can have it deleted again!!!!!

The service was very friendly and good. The gyros were good and very crispy, the rice was a bit tasteless but the tzatziki was again very good but 2 small slices of bread for a starter was a bit small.

Wie waren das erste mal im Akropolis, aber mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte mal. Das Essen ist wirklich richtig lecker, der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Alles in allem war es ein sehr Schöner Abend im Akropolis.

Wundervolles Gyros und anderes Essen. Direkt am Bahnhof gelegen. Dort ist es auch sehr schön ruhig da das die eher ruhigere Seite der Stadt ist

Solider Grieche, Essen war lecker und kam schnell. Wir konnten kurzfristig noch für 8 Personen reservieren und haben noch einen Tisch bekommen. Toller Service! Am Ambiente könnte noch ein bisschen geschraubt werden, ich fand es etwas karg eingerichtet.

Sehr lecker. Super Service. Krombacher vom Fass einmalig! War in Griechenland im Urlaub nicht mal da war das Essen so lecker. Kann ich jedem empfehlen!
