The service was nice. There's no other way to say it, very slowly but friendly. The food was delicious. For me the metaxa sauce is too sour, but there are worse things. What we found bad was that it was a restaurant and not a train station pub, but there were only regular tables there and they were so loud that we couldn't even have a conversation. The acoustics are bad. Unfortunately also the cold. It was very cold in the restaurant and when the door opens because the regulars are running back and forth, it feels like Siberia. So we like to eat comfortably and talk while we do it. That doesn't work there.

Since we ordered our food, I can't comment on the service or the ambience. As for the food, I was inspired by the name of the place and opted for gyros - unfortunately a complete disappointment. Even regular frozen gyros taste better than what I was served. The meat was poorly seasoned, had an unpleasant consistency and tasted absolutely disappointing. I cannot recommend this dish under any circumstances and I find the name of the restaurant incomprehensible.

Is it closed forever now? Has anyone heard anything? 🤔

Wir kommen immer gerne wieder, schönes Ambiente, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, Fleisch zart und saftig, auf Wünsche der Gäste wird gern eingegangen und Kartenzahlung ist auch gern gesehen, natürlich auch bar, dabei eine familiäre Atmosphäre.

Nicely decorated restaurant, the staff were all nice. The taste of the main courses was ok, very small portion. All the side dishes were very overpriced, but the taste was a total disappointment. The grilled vegetables were drowned in oil and were barely edible. You pay €6.20 for 50g of vegetables. There was no sauce with the meal, neither for the meat nor for the fries, everything cost extra. We paid around €35 ​​per person for food and a drink. Not very recommendable in terms of price-performance.

We were there for the 2nd time and were not at all satisfied. My wife had ordered lamb with small noodles and when she got a salad from the buffet she was told that the lamb was sold out. Then she ordered suflaki and it was very dry and so was mine. That was the last time.

I'm sorry, but last night (March 18, 2025) was unfortunately nothing special... The liver was dry and thin like a shoe sole, the baked potato was full of a disgusting, super-heavy mayo that was slightly acidic. The service was subpar. Nothing against the waitress, but she was more like a bad-tempered Mexican woman who'd just punch you in the face. The atmosphere could use some updating... I really hope it gets better.

Been there again after many years. The food is still plentiful and very tasty. The Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts to kneel down. What you can conjure up with so few simple ingredients. The way it was served was particularly creative. The eye eats too. Attentive service. Nice rustic atmosphere. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back.
