Restaurant Dionysos in Bad Sachsa

Schade, dass der Besitzer die Außenterrasse nicht erwähnt hat... denn drinnen saß niemand... das Essen war jedoch köstlich.

Der beste Grieche ever ! An das Essen kommt kein anderes griechisches Resautant heran, einfach nur spitzenmäßig lecker !

Wir waren leider enttäuscht. Wenn ich bei einem Griechen essen gehe erwarte ich das es bei den typischen griechischen Gerichten auch Tzatziki dazu bekomme. Diesen mußte man sich für 5,50 Euro dazu bestellen. Das bisschen rote pikante Soße kann man sich sparen das sie überhaupt nicht zum Fleisch passt. Ansonsten wären die Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Was ich schade finde ist das es keine offizielle Rechnung gab und man nicht nachprüfen konnte ob alles in Ordnungsgemäß abgerechnet wurde. Es gab nur eine Gesamtsumme das war's.

Das Essen war an sich ganz gut aber die Bedienung war einfach nur unterirdisch, sehr unfreundlicher Service. Nach dem von drei essen eins falsch ankam und man noch gewagt hat darauf hinzuweisen ging die Dame völlig genervt wortlos mit dem Teller weg, nach ca 10 Minuten kam dann das richtige Essen. Als dann noch gefragt wurde ob man für die Pommes Mayonnaise haben könnte sagte die Dame, auch' ja auch noch, man zahlt ja schließlich auch dafür. Das Essen wurde auch wortlos hingestellt, kein guten Appetit oder sonstige Kommunikation. Leider schade für das Restaurant, da gehe ich lieber zum Döner laden um die Ecke dort versteht man wenigstens mit seinen Gästen höflich umzugehen

Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen, gute Portion (für Mittag fast zuviel) zu guten Preisen.

Ein wirklich gutes griechisches Restaurant, es war köstlich.

Wir haben gestern Abend, einen Tisch reserviert und die Kellnerin die uns bedient hat, ich vermute, dass es die Chefin war ist sehr unfreundlich zu uns gewesen!!! Deshalb gebe ich den Griechen nur einen Stern!

Dieses Mal Tupperdöschen mitgenommen. Die Menüs sollen in anderen Lokalitäten schon vertauscht worden sein. Die Qualität ist einzigartig. Selbst das Souvlaki ist zart und saftig. Als Alternative zum Ouzo wird auch Orangello gern angeboten 😉.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen dort, haben extra einen Tisch vorher reserviert. Als wir ankamen, wurden uns 2 Tische angeboten, wir mussten uns somit aufteilen und konnten nicht alle gemeinsam sitzen. Die Vorspeisen kamen recht schnell, jedoch der Hauptgang hat fast zwei Stunden gedauert...etwas unverschämt. Alle benachbarten Tische hatten bereits ihr Essen, obwohl diese erst nach uns kamen. Das überbacken Souflaki war sehr lecker, bei anderen aus unserer Gruppe war das Essen jedoch sehr salzig. Die Anrichtung auf den Tellern hätte auch etwas schöner sein können.

Wir haben Silvester einen Tisch für Neujahr reserviert, was problemlos möglich war. Die Mitarbeiter waren trotz vollem Haus sehr nett und nicht gestresst. Das Essen war ganz ok, durchschnittliche griechische Kost. Es hat ganz gut geschmeckt, war aber auch nichts Besonderes. Das Ambiente war griechisch-gemütlich.

We hadn't made a reservation and, despite the restaurant being very busy, we got a table. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were served quickly and efficiently.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I had a lovely evening there with good service and equally good food. The prices are reasonable and what you'd expect everywhere these days.

They open whenever they feel like it; this is the second time it's been closed at lunchtime, and I recently stood in front of a locked door on a Wednesday at lunchtime.

We were simply thrilled. The food was absolutely fantastic, the fish dish was cooked to perfection, and the meat and the presentation were very loving. Excellent service, thank you for the lovely evening.

The food was delicious. We went with the family, and everyone enjoyed it. The portions were great and the prices were reasonable. I ordered garlic bread for starters, and they didn't skimp on it either. It was a really large portion and more for two, but still very tasty. The ambiance was super nice. You can see that a lot of effort was put into the decor and everything else. The only downside: the restroom area was freezing cold and there was no changing table/area. We were there with a small child and couldn't change him. Luckily, we were already done and ready to leave. They suggested we do it on the dining bench, but that's not possible in a restaurant. For a restaurant of this size, you'd expect a warm changing area or a small changing table to be offered. Otherwise, I highly recommend the restaurant!

The service is super friendly. The atmosphere is truly cozy, and you feel like you've been transported to Greece. The prices are perfectly reasonable. The quality of the meat and the food in general is super fresh and delicious. We had takeaway food, and it was still fresh and crispy. I highly recommend it.

We stopped in spontaneously and were immediately seated outside (in beautiful weather). The server was very friendly. The drinks and food arrived quickly. It tasted great. The price/performance ratio was excellent!

We ate there on a Sunday evening and received a friendly welcome, even though they were already mentally prepared for closing time (at least that was my impression). The food came quickly, our dishes were delicious, and the service was always friendly and attentive. That's how it should be.

Absolutely fantastic food!!! We had ordered a table and were served 2 minutes after we had sat down. After another 3 minutes the drinks came and we ordered. It took less than 10 minutes for the food to be served... Why did it take so long? Several reviewers complain about slow service - we couldn't recognize that at all. We got very fast and very friendly service! The food was fantastic: A starter with different mixed starters, each of which was delicious. A fantastically well-cooked lamb fillet for the main course. The only problem was that there was so much food that we had to leave and couldn't eat dessert. A very warm recommendation from here!

Probably a new chef because the main course was much better than the last time. Too bad tzatziki is not served with the meat as standard. We had to order this separately.

We weren't really greeted warmly upon arrival. Despite reservations, you had the feeling that you were being disturbed. It took a long time before we could order. I ordered tzatziki once for dinner and it was brought four times. Of 6 meals, 2 were forgotten. The food was only brought after request…. After another 10 minutes. No one apologized! You missed the food - you were full of salad and bread. The waitresses were totally unfriendly. You don't even get asked every now and then whether everything is okay or whether you would like something more to drink... it wasn't until it came time to pay that you were "served" in a friendly manner. We cannot recommend the restaurant.

We ate here again after a long time and it was great! Nice atmosphere, good service and the food was delicious! Starters, main course, everything was great! We'll definitely be coming more often from now on!

The food is very tasty, but you have to wait a long time for your food. There is no table for a larger group, but two tables have to be placed next to each other and you sit further apart because there are sometimes pillars in between. The service is an absolute disaster. You sit for at least 15 minutes and wait for someone to bring you a card. If you order 2 starters instead of a main course, derogatory comments will be made. A meal was forgotten. After pointing this out, the food came 15 minutes later without any apology and only a stupid comment was made. During the entire time you weren't even asked if you wanted something more to drink. From 9:10 p.m. onwards, the waiter or “boss” came around the corner every 5 minutes, annoyed, to check whether everyone had finished eating. At 9:15 p.m. the empty glasses were removed without asking if you wanted to order anything else. That was the expulsion. (Store is actually open until 10 p.m.) This was really an absolute disgrace and I would not recommend this store to anyone. That was the worst restaurant visit I've ever experienced.

A very cozy restaurant. Very good tasty Greek food. We ate there twice and would go there again if we were in the area again and were on vacation.

Food was delicious, service was unfortunately a bit slow, drinks and food could only be ordered after what felt like an eternity.

Delicious giros consisting of not too small, not overcooked pieces so that you taste real meat. The bifteki and souflaki were also very tender and not overcooked. Delicious herbs. Not typical pide bread but toasted bread with oil and garlic. Also no garlic sauce like the traditional tzatziki. Large fries that were nicely fried. There was some limited choice for vegetarians. 2 starters were fine, but more choice would be nice. A glass of wine is 250 ml. 2 choices of desserts.

There were 12 of us plus a dog and we were very satisfied with the food and service. Many thanks for this stay to everyone who contributed to it

Three out of four meals were with bone-dry gyros. The mushrooms were forgotten in one dish and a simple extra request, namely the omission of an ingredient, was discussed with the service. The €70 for the meal did not correspond to the value we received. At this Greek restaurant I don't expect fine dining, but I still expect good, decent food, with a certain basic quality, which was not the case here for the second time and that was the last time for us.

Excellent Greek food!! Best quality!! I had a farmer's plate! The beef liver was grilled so well that it was juicy and tender! The suflaki was made of pork tenderloin and tasted tender and juicy too! The gyros were also very good and the rice was delicious and juicy! Everything seasoned great! The prices are reasonable and the owners are very friendly! Highly recommended!!!!

The food was very good, the service was also very good.

I have to hand this to the Germans. Two copious ones for little money serving meals with 2 glasses (of 400ml) of beer, 2 ouzos (of 2cl) and a glass of red wine (of 200ml) plus dessert ice cream for just over 50 euros. How do they do that there? I get the idea that it has become a grabflation in the hospitality industry in the Netherlands.

Ordered takeaway today. Meat was good. But a grill plate without tzatziki is absolutely disappointing for us as fans of Greek cuisine. For us, tzatziki is simply part of it. It's never happened to us that you have to order it separately. But you never stop learning. Otto family

We ate here twice during our holiday and we really enjoyed it. We had dinner here on the recommendation of the manager of the Landalpark. The atmosphere is good, the staff very friendly and fun, the decor is nicely done and most importantly, the food is very good. When I first ate it, my girlfriend kept saying that the Gyros was so delicious. She really enjoyed this. I had pork tenderloin with herb butter and it was also very tasty. The 2nd time was also very successful. Maybe a very small downside. They only have 2 desserts, 1 of which was ice cream that had already been defrosted, but that didn't spoil the fun. I wish this restaurant all the best and if we ever celebrate our holiday again, we will definitely come back.

In terms of taste, the gyros were OK However, the meat was too dry With an extra portion of Zazicki you can expect white bread (5€ extra) It's a shame we won't eat there again.

Very little on the plates! The food was delicious but you won't get full! The service was very nice, the food came very quickly but you go home hungry if you only eat one main course!

So, the food itself is very good, tastes good! What we didn't like is that people here are very inflexible, and that's also the business plan here! Extra requests are not fulfilled here, either just take one or order two dishes... Not very hospitable in my opinion. Gyros without tzatziki, you have to buy them for €5 extra... €5.50 for a 0.5l Spezi is also very expensive. It's a shame....!

We were looking forward to a nice dinner after a long hike and were unfortunately disappointed. First, three different waiters came one after the other to bring us cutlery, even though we had already been brought some. After we ordered food, no one came for a long time. We then waited over an hour for our starter without anyone letting us know. Three pairs of guests who came after us had already received their main course by this time. We had a 6-month-old baby with us, so it was really stupid to wait so long. When we asked, we were told that there was no more saganaki (breaded sheep's cheese) and that it had to be made fresh first (here we expected, that it's freshly made anyway?!) and a quick sorry or some bread to wait and at least some information would have been nice. We then packed up the main courses and ate them at home after 10 minutes, unfortunately the meat was also very dry. We were kindly reimbursed for tzatziki and extra rice from the bill. Something like that can happen, but overall we didn't have a good restaurant and taste experience.

Unfortunately I can't say much. We were welcomed and the restaurant was full. We were offered a small side table and told us that something would soon be free and we could then change tables. Ok, no problem if you don't reserve. The lady came to the table, lit the guy, gave us the cards and that was it. After 20 minutes tables were free. Nobody noticed us. Those next to tables were also ignored. We didn't have anything to drink until then. Unfortunately, the two women seemed completely overwhelmed. Anything can happen, but then the guests shouldn't suffer because of it. Maybe talk to the customers about it when they enter and at least bring drinks. As I said, that was just an impression. The food looked delicious and since the restaurant was full it will definitely taste good too. ;)

The restaurant was a spontaneous idea after a day of hiking. Called at short notice to reserve a table. The service staff was very nice and quick, so we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. The portions were good and very tasty. At the end there was an ouzo on the house.
